Is it not unjust to blame an organization for statements made by anonymous people wholly unconnected with it?

For instance, the author leads us to believe that Muslims are propagating hate yet his list of references cites posts made by Muslims and non-Muslims alike. Moreover, the the whyislam forum website clearly displays a disclaimer that posts are not representative of whyislam’s administration, organization, or related bodies.

I agree with the very first commenter above, who indicated the weakness of such supposed “evidence,” as it is hardly representative of the organization of whyislam or even Muslims in general.

People cry CROCODILE tears about the outcome of the Swiss minaret-referendum. For that same crocodile people do not cry about the fact that in many muslim countries there is no freedom of religion or that it is even FORBIDDEN to construct churches, temples, synagogues there (f.e. Saudi Arabia, Egypt). The CROCODILE TEARS PEOPLE also do not cry about the terrorizing and killing of citizens in muslim countries when these citizens do not want to live as muslims.

Admittedly it mau have been lost in all the unfortunate vitriol, but it needs to be highlighted and your response (or lack of it) noted. Islamic law and the practice of islamic law DOES have different understanding concerning who is ‘innocent’ or ‘civilian’ in non-islamic jurisdictions.

There are extremist in every religion. Not just islam but also in chrisianity and like the bible speaks:
Luke 6:42 -
“Either how canst thou say to thy brother, Brother, let me pull out the mote that is in thine eye, when thou thyself beholdest not the beam that is in thine own eye? Thou hypocrite, cast out first the beam out of thine own eye, and then shalt thou see clearly to pull out the mote that is in thy brother’s eye.”
Christians have a blind eye to themselves with the beam blocking their own sins which gives them the title of hypocrite as they preach their hateful message and live in denial while their own religion has also been a violent and bloody past in eras long ago. Reverend Jimmy Jones killed over 900 of christian followers in the name of God and then turned a gun upon himself fatally wounding. You can blame drugs part of his personal demons but people looking for religion to cure the world’s evils only find death and destruction in their path didn’t come from God but man with his wicked ways. Man distanced himself from God while God never moved an inch Mankind’s sinful way increased the distance from God and the rift is increasing over the centuries. Muslims, Christians and alike still fight over petty stuff like children in a playground. One day of God’s choosing he will send us to our respected corners for an eternal time-out both muslim and christian which in his eyes does not matter for we are all the children of God, the creator of the heavens, heavens and creator of mankind.

When 9/11 happened, I did not see any “moderate” Muslims make statements or protest the events like the “radical” Muslims did around the world.

For centuries, not just decades, Islam has made a point of attmepting to conquer the world by any means necessary.

The Crusades, long thought by the west to be an aggresive move on the part of European leaders, is now being seen as a defensive move that brought the war of conquest to the enemy’s doorstep.

The current wave of jihad against the world has been stepped up through the hajri, OPEC’s domination of the world oil and gas reserves and modern forms of communication.

Almost all propaganda coming from Islam has to be approved through one or more of the three major centres for Islamic information control: Riyadh, Tehran and Cairo, before being publicized. (Groups like the Amadiyahs and Ismaili Muslims are considered “outsiders” and within Islam. There have always been attempts to convert followers of these two sub-groups to either Shia or Sunni ways.)

While the information or its producers do not have to physically pass through these cities, the channels of communication and control are always there. Virtually every imam, mullah, ayatollah and cleric has direct or indirect connections to these world centres of Islam.

Its much like modern military CNC (Command aNd Control), in that anything that is not “approved” rarely finds its way to the public. What is leaked can be denied and/or supressed.

This makes Islam one of the most effective control systems in the world. Its leaders may not have to be everywhere at once, since they know that they have “trusted” and proven chains of command that will do the work for them.

What western leaders need to know is who the actual leaders are and how to break the chain of command if the war on terror is to succeed.
