Liberals have been the biggest apologists for the “experiment for a better world” Communist movements throughout the twenties, thirties and forties. During the Cold War they were more concealed in their admiration for a philosophy as flawed as Marxism, but after all communism was not as racist as Nazism nor as juicy a target as Capitalism. Soviet mass murder and suppression of civil liberties, more than rivaled the butchery of the Nazis, but never aroused the Liberal sensibilities to any degree.
Jewish or non-Jewish Obama-style Liberalism finds itself in its traditional role as apologist for
communist and any anti-Capitalist
causes available.
Regarding Liberal support for desegregation during the Civil Rights period…I don’t recall any
rush to build low-rent housing and new grammar schools in upper-class neighborhoods. If Idealistic rhetoric were proof of altruistic concern, the Liberals would win the all the historical awards.
