Again, these should be organized seperately at the grass roots level for now. I think some, though willing to gather publically, were unwilling to talk publically, knowing the media was present, and might misquote them, or take what they might say out of context. However, we are more than an angry mob--we are hard-working, intelligent people, who know enough about how our country is supposed to work to be able to stand up and say, it is NOT being run the way it was supposed to be run. Therefore, I would like the opportunity for those who attended to come together again for a cup of tea (literally) in order to hear each other out on how we can make some positive changes in the current system--apart from merely holding more public rallies which the media will only continue to deliberately poo--poo as insignificant. This would involve gathering in a large room somewhere, say in hotels--perhaps even have a luncheon, with each paying so much a head to attend. We ought not to have ANY official speakers. And NO elected officials, unless they are willing to come as just another citizen like the rest of us. Then we should pass the mike around from person to person and LISTEN to each other's ideas. I think by actually discussing together, not merely our frustrations, but the ideas we all must have semi-formulated in our heads, we can come up with a kind of corporate plan of action which will be OF the people for a change--not merely something told TO the people. I believe this is how our forefathers came up with their brilliant ideas. It was more than merely one or two---the ideas that form our Constitution and Bill of Rights came after many discussions, and even arguments with other patriots, until they were fine-tuned, and honed down into the wonderful foundation for our country that they are today. However, it all started with conversations between fellow patriots......Let those who have the email addresses of those attending the TEA Partys forward this around, and see if others are interested in this. then let me know what you think.
