As their endowment diminishes, due to the destruction of capitalism, it will have to rely more heavily on the government subsidies that they have been receiving. I live here in LA, struggle like crazy to put my kids in private schools, because the public ones look like prisons out of Ti Juana, and just today I visited a friend in another part of LA, only to find out that two brand new, amazing campuses have just been built in nearby illegal alien areas for those public school kids. And do you have any idea how high my taxes are to pay for this. To top it off, your kid can't even get into the pre schools at these state of the art centers unless some school bureaucrat determines you're low income or your kid is dumb. So I get to pay and get ZERO services. Can't wait till California is really truly bankrupt. All this racial accommodation and communism is just great.
