But I must confess that I have become weary of lurking in the shadows, plotting against the very people who have so graciously welcomed me into the bosom of the nation, plying my conspiratorial will to destabilize the economy, as did my good friend Bernie Madoff, and lobbying hard to undermine the national interest, as John Mearsheimer and Stephen Walt so astutely discerned in their insightful and groundbreaking book, The Israel Lobby and U.S. Foreign Policy. And I must admit, too, that I have never liked the taste of the blood of Christian children and long ago forswore the practice of draining their little bodies to make my Passover matzot.
Yes, I have grown sick and depressed intriguing against all and sundry, as I have been taught by the masters of the Torah, but especially against so beneficent a nation as the United States of America. I have experienced a change of heart. Not only will I now cease my nefarious activities but I will reveal to my fellow countrymen the sinister magnitude of the Jewish plot against the weal of the nation. President Obama’s former pastor of choice, Jeremiah Wright, was perfectly correct in suspecting our motives, though he failed to recognize the scope and nature of our recent electoral project.
It is no secret that somewhere between 78% and 83% of Jewish Americans cast their vote for Barack Obama. It is well known that organizations such as J Street, the Israel Policy Forum, the Union of Reform Judaism, the Jewish Voice for Peace, the Reconstructionist Rabbinical Association, Brit Tzedek V’Shalom, or the Jewish Alliance for Justice, and Rabbis for Obama, among many others, brought their institutional clout to bear in order to support Obama’s run for the White House. All this, my friends, is no accident.
We Jews are a sly and surreptitious people. It pains me to admit this, but candor compels. We have understood that the best way to bring America to its knees, to weaken its will to survive, to cleverly turn it against itself, was to do everything in our considerable arsenal of means to deliver the White House to Barack Obama. We knew that once he assumed the reins of power, the United States would begin to crumble and that we could then continue our march to world domination, as disclosed in The Protocols of the Elders of Zion, over the decaying cadaver of this once-proud country. There would be no stopping us in our progress toward universal supremacy.
I bet this article will soon appear on Moonbat and Mohammedan websites as a true admission of Jewish guilt. LOL the left and Mohammedans never will get sarcasm it requires to much brain power.

That’s exactly what I was thinking! The Protocols of the Elders of Zion should have been greeted with laughter—but that’s not what ultimately occurred. Jews are damned no matter what they do. They are blamed for communism, capitalism, religious extremism, atheism, and just about anything else one can imagine. Can’t win for losing.

Truth, satire or misinformation?
Mr. Solway, the satire is evident and the piece well written but 1. Realist: has pointed out the obvious. I am afraid it will indeed be used to hammer the Jews over the head.
When Muslim leaders claim that the Jews control the world (or are trying to), I suspect their real complaint isn’t that the Jews control the world, but that they themselves (i.e. Muslims) don’t.
Likewise, it occurs to me that if you substitute “Muslim” for “Jew” throughout Solway’s piece (except for the bits about Solway being one, of course), it looks a lot less like satire and a lot more like the truth.
It gives me no pleasure to point out you are Canadian! You could just have easily written:

Dear Dave II, I must inform you that we Canadians are not a sly and surreptitious people. Except for our brave soldiers taking fire in Afghanistan and a handful of courageous individuals(whom I will not name lest they be tageted and pilloried and run out of the country on a handrail), we are not a “people” at all, but a bevy of innocuous poseurs staggering about with a powerful appetite for vanilla ice cream. The irony and major problem the Jewish people now have. Don’t try to deny it. It is clear that this article, framed as satire, is a ruse to distract the United States from the real conspiracy being formulated in Canada. I know that one day soon, Canadian tanks (all four of them) will start crossing the border into Buffalo and Detroit. It will happen on a Saturday morning, and we’ll be defenseless because everyone will be stuck in the drive-thru lane at Tim Horton’s. That may sound crazy, but how else do you explain the fact that we already have 10 Tim Hortons within 6 miles of my house and they’re building another one right now.

A few years ago I had the opportunity to visit in Eastern Europe the mansion/ palace (now museum) of a famous Iluminati, Jakob, baron Brukenthal, imperial (Austrian) governor of the realm’s eastern/southernmost province, Transylvania – and upon some research, it appeared that, besides the fact that mister Jakob was an illuminati, he also was an excellent administrator, a great benefactor and humanist and during his long tenure (end of 18th century), that province enjoyed remarkable prosperity and ethnic concord.
I enjoyed this piece so much that I clicked on the author’s name shown in the header to find other articles he had written. That took me to a page that said he lives in the Valley of Shmoon. I thought to myself, is that in Israel? Googled it, and saw that the Valley of Shmoon is from L’il Abner – it is where the Shmoos live! I am old enough to remember well the Shmoos from L’il Abner. The author is obviously of a demented mind. . . (just kidding!)
My mistake. It does not say that he lives in the Valley of Shmoon. Rather, that is part of the title of one of his books, “Living in the Valley of Shmoon”. Sorry!

Please read the book “5000 Year Leap”. Self government originated with the Jews and the Anglo-Saxons. These two groups inspired our founders more than any other and they modeled our government after their model.
But the model has been abandoned. There is a ratio of people to leaders that was broken in 1911 when the membership of the House of Representatives was capped at 435. We now have 535 people (including the Senate) in discretionary, unilateral control of over 40% of our GDP.

Although I enjoyed this satirical article, it has occurred to me that on the rare occasions in my life when I have met someone truly consumed by pathological hatred, they never had a sense of humor. Those kind of people would read this and take it straight, without seeing the humor at all. . .

This article won’t enlighten anyone who has already bought into conspiracy theories, it will just add a few extra mirrors to the world of mirrors they inhabit, a place where nothing can be taken at face value. In order for people to understand satire, they first have to be able to see the absurd as simply what it is, a contradiction and therefore evidence of error. For those interested in learning more, Daniel Pipes has an excellent book that examines conspiracism in detail,

As a non-white gentile, I find it hard to understand the hatred of the Jews and the hatred of Jews for other Jews. Of all the cultures who have come to America, Jews have contributed the most, both positive and negative. I would argue that the positive far outweighs the negative.
Some East Asians have come here and done extremely well. They are now being penalized with quota systems because of their achievements. It has been determind that they cmprise a disproportionate number of people in graduate programs in some universities and Asians are being rejected despite their accomplishments. This is wrong in every way. (I am not Asian by the way.)
I have always disapproved of racial discrimination as I have experienced it. I also disapprove of white guilt. What about the whites who liberated the slaves? Do their descendants owe reparations? Families in this country are usually so mixed that few can say with accuracy what their ethnicity is.
As an example, I will offer a person of “pure” English heritage. He is possibly the descendant of Celts, Vikings, Saxons, Danes, Jutes and Angles among others who have come and gone. What makes an Englishman English?
By the same token, what makes an American an American? An American may have ancestors from North America or any of the aboriginal nations there as I am or from any other country on earth. Most are mixtures of several nations or even races. I once read an estimate that 4% of “white” people have African ancestry and 60% of “African Americans” have European or aboriginal ancestry.
I respectfully submit that an American is a person who endorses the Constitution of the United States and would defend it if necessary. Americanism isn’t inherited by blood but by the mind in my opinion.
I have served with immigrants who sought to become citizens and had a far better grasp of the principles of freedom than many politicians. A naturalized citizen often understands our history and laws better than those born here.
As a lad, I had to take examinations on state and US Constitutions in two separate states as I changed schools. As an old man, I keep a copy of my state and federal constitutions in my desk and refer to both frequently. I’m just trying to keep up with the legal immigrants and not forget my oath to defend the Constitution.
As an aside: It is noteworthy that the military takes and oath to protect and defend the Constitution rather than some piece of geography or a person. We defend a concept.

Colonel Richard Kemp, formerly both commander of British forces in Afghanistan and the intelligence co-ordinator for the British government. In that interview, Col Kemp disconcerted the BBC’s boilerplate group-thinking presenter by stating that
I don’t think there’s ever been a time in the history of warfare when any army has made more efforts to reduce civilian casualties and deaths of innocent people than the IDF is doing today in Gaza.
Now Col Kemp has amplified his remarks in a speech at a conference in Israel. It is worth watching or reading this remarkable speech in full — because he says things that are as well-informed, obvious and decent as they are rare and poorly understood in the society that he has spent his life defending. He points out, for example, that Britain, America and Israel are up against the same type of enemy which operates under a new and very different set of rules:
Hizballah and Hamas over here, Al Qaida, Jaish al Mahdi and a range of other militant groups in Iraq. Al Qaida, the Taliban and a diversity of associated fighting groups in Afghanistan. They are different but they are linked. They are linked by the pernicious influence, support and sometimes direction of Iran and/or by the international network of Islamist extremism. These groups, as well as others, have learnt and continue to learn from each others’ successes and failures. Tactics tried and tested on IDF soldiers in Lebanon have also killed British soldiers in Helmand Province and in Basra. These groups are trained and equipped for warfare fought from within the civilian population.
Do these Islamist fighting groups ignore the international laws of armed conflict? They do not. It would be a grave mistake to conclude that they do. Instead, they study it carefully and they understand it well. They know that a British or Israeli commander and his men are bound by international law and the rules of engagement that flow from it. They then do their utmost to exploit what they view as one of their enemy’s main weaknesses.
Their very modus operandi is built on the, correct, assumption that Western armies will normally abide by the rules. It is not simply that these insurgents do not adhere to the laws of war. It is that they employ a deliberate policy of operating consistently outside international law. Their entire operational doctrine is founded on this basis. In Gaza, as in Basra, as in the towns and villages of southern Afghanistan, civilians and their property are routinely exploited by these groups, in deliberate and flagrant violation of any international laws or reasonable norms of civilised behaviour for both tactical and strategic gain.
Stripped of any moral considerations, this policy operates simply and effectively at both levels. On the tactical level, protected buildings, mosques, schools and hospitals, are used as strongholds allowing the enemy the protection not only of stone walls but also of international law. On the strategic level, any mistake, or in some cases legal and proportional response, by a Western army will be deliberately exploited and manipulated in order to produce international outcry and condemnation. And in sophisticated groupings such as Hamas and Hizballah, the media will be exploited also as a critical implement of their military strategy. [my emphasis]
And of course the British and American media have done everything they can to act as the jihadis’ fifth column against the west – nowhere more so than in Israel, on which Col Kemp had this to say:
What is the other challenge faced by the IDF that we British do not have to face to the same extent? It is the automatic, Pavlovian presumption by many in the international media, and international human rights groups, that the IDF are in the wrong, that they are abusing human rights.
So what did the IDF do in Gaza to meet their obligation to operate within the laws of war? When possible the IDF gave at least four hours’ notice to civilians to leave areas targeted for attack. Attack helicopter pilots, tasked with destroying Hamas mobile weapons platforms, had total discretion to abort a strike if there was too great a risk of civilian casualties in the area. Many missions that could have taken out Hamas military capability were cancelled because of this.
During the conflict, the IDF allowed huge amounts of humanitarian aid into Gaza. This sort of task is regarded by military tacticians as risky and dangerous at the best of times. To mount such operations, to deliver aid virtually into your enemy’s hands, is to the military tactician, normally quite unthinkable. [my emphasis] But the IDF took on those risks.
In the latter stages of Cast Lead the IDF unilaterally announced a daily three-hour cease fire. The IDF dropped over 900,000 leaflets warning the population of impending attacks to allow them to leave designated areas. A complete air squadron was dedicated to this task alone. Leaflets also urged the people to phone in information to pinpoint Hamas fighters vital intelligence that could save innocent lives.
The IDF phoned over 30,000 Palestinian households in Gaza, urging them in Arabic to leave homes where Hamas might have stashed weapons or be preparing to fight. Similar messages were passed in Arabic on Israeli radio broadcasts warning the civilian population of forthcoming operations. Despite Israel’s extraordinary measures, of course innocent civilians were killed and wounded. That was due to the frictions of war that I have spoken about, and even more was an inevitable consequence of Hamas’ way of fighting.
By taking these actions and many other significant measures during Operation Cast Lead the IDF did more to safeguard the rights of civilians in a combat zone than any other Army in the history of warfare. But the IDF still did not win the war of opinions – especially in Europe.
Israel’s military therefore observes a high standard of ethical behaviour and concern for innocent life which is simply without parallel or precedent anywhere else in the world. And yet it is Israel which the west singles out for demonisation and delegitimisation for ‘war crimes’ — so much so that the very same Israeli military eulogised by Col Kemp cannot set foot in Britain without a ‘human rights’ lawyer trying to arrest them for ‘crimes against humanity’ as soon as they step off the plane.

I have read many good financial books, but this book presents all the basic principles of how to handle your money more clearly than any other I have read. Rabbi Celso Cukierkorn lays down a concrete plan to get people out of debt and into good financial position. If you follow it, you will find prosperity.

I have spent years and years listening to and reading the books of all of the financial gurus. I do like Dave Ramsey, Robert Kiyosaki, and Donald Trump. Lately I have been searching for wisdom that is directly related to our biblical roots. I discovered Daniel Lapin’s Thou Shall Prosper and that set me on a path that has led me to a new enlightenment. Rabbi Celso Cukierkorn’s book is something fresh and it was easy for me to read. The secrets revealed by him in this book were especially meaningful because the rabbi made me feel as if they were meant for me. I really felt transformed by reading this book. And now I feel prepared to make some some changes in my life that will set me on a prosperous path. I can see that I am ready to put God’s words into practice. I have even recommended the book to my church book club. As I have heard, and now I feel, words from the heart- go to the heart.
