The Muslim Brotherhood’s Political Pilgrims
The Left’s political pilgrimage vis-à-vis totalitarian monstrosities continues unabated. With the Islamo-Fascist Muslim Brotherhood now poised to share governance in Egypt in the post-Mubarak era, progressives worldwide are salivating with glee. And it’s to be completely expected of course: the Left has a long and eerie tradition of worshiping at the feet of tyrants and terrorists. The Muslim Brotherhood is the ideological forebear of Hamas and al-Qaeda. Its top priorities are to implement Sharia law, annihilate Israel, and purify Egypt from American and Western infections with human blood. Naturally, the Left has now found a new target for a political romance.
The usual suspects are leading the progressive charge: the notorious Obama fundraiser group Code Pink, the Party for Socialism and Liberation (PSL), A.N.S.W.E.R., and the International Action Center (IAC), founded by Ramsey Clark. These leftist groups are now on the frontlines cheering on the Islamists in Egypt as Khomeini-style killing fields loom ominously on the horizon for the Middle Eastern country. Members of the political faith simply can’t contain themselves from worshiping at the feet of tyrants who are set on perpetrating a mass slaughter and are intent on bringing the carnage to America. Anti-American “feminist” Naomi Klein set the tone perfectly a few years back for her comrades when, in a column in The Nation, she enunciated her heartfelt longing for Muqtada al-Sadr’s killing fields to come to New York.
And so, our Radical-in-Chief is unsurprisingly joining in on the Progressive-Brotherhood love-fest, extending his hand of solidarity to the Muslim Brotherhood and giving the Islamist group a green light to share power in a post-Mubarak Egyptian government.
Obama is, of course, just doing what comes naturally to him, as he revealed his own political romance with radical Islam immediately upon taking office. Back in February 2009, for instance, Obama made sure to reward Hamas for launching rockets into Israeli towns and cities by flirting with the terrorist group and announcing plans to place $900 million of American taxpayers’ money into its blood-soaked hands. The president followed up by going on his own political pilgrimage, traveling to the Middle East in April 2009 to bow in front of the Saudi king. The love affair was brought to a climax two months later, in June 2009, this time when the president traveled to Cairo University to address the Muslim world and invited at least ten Muslim Brotherhood members to attend.
Thus, it makes total sense that the president continued to indulge in putting quite distinguished people on his “guest lists.” When the Obama White House had its infamous 2010 Ramadan dinner, the guests included two Islamists: Ingrid Mattson and Salam Al-Marayati. Mattson heads the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) that was named as an unindicted co-conspirator in the trial of the Holy Land Foundation for Relief and Development. An Islamic “charity,” the Foundation was convicted in 2008 for funding the Palestinian terrorist organization Hamas. Al-Marayati heads the Muslim Public Affairs Council (MPAC), an anti-Israel organization that spends most of its time obfuscating and equivocating about the terrorist threat. Al-Marayati has distinguished himself with his view that if Islamic groups were suspects for the 9/11 attacks, then Israel should be as well, since it had the “most to gain.”
I’m envisioning a science fiction book wherein people with common sense liberate liberals from the political Left from muslim concentration camps.

You call it the hard left, but it is the net result that matters. It does not matter what you call it. The final result has to be anti US. An anti US force is needed for there not be any cutbacks in the military budget. The Ayatollahs do a great job for the arms and oil companies.
In the end, the only “warmth” the “useful idiot” left, and especially a Jew like Chomsky, will feel from Islamists is that of their own blood running down their chests as their throats are slit.
Carter a “progressive”? No, I would call him a Communist. Mark Levin said that when he worked in the Reagan administration, they came in and found boxes and boxes of Rules for Radicals. We are seeing the partnership between the Communists and the Islamists playing out before our eyes.
Patty I don’t Believe Jimmy Carter is truly Communist for several reasons but I do think the Communist have used him to great advantage and he has been completely blind to that manipulation. His work with his housing project describes a spirit not found in the Communist lexicon. yet not quite compatible with Christ. As far as I am concerned we have only two spirits that we can follow, the Spirit of Christ or the spirit of the world controlled by Satan.

Without doubt Carter is among those who scatter. He is also a product of the USDA with his peanut breeding. He had a friend that grew up in a neighboring town to the east of Plains and went to Venezuela to plant peanuts in our off season, thus doubling the breeding program.. My neighbor got acquainted with him over the ham radio and I got in contact with him through my neighbor. He is opposite Carter in politics but I got quite a few personal tidbits.
When I passed through Punta Arenas, Chile I spent the Saturday night before our election the next Tuesday, ; That night at the hotel I got in conversation with a person I took to be a naval officer in his thirties, We got to taking politics and he wanted to know what I thought of Carter; I was not a Democrat so did not support Carter but knew little about him at that time; We had been 70 days getting to Punta Areanas with our drilling rig from Sabine Pass, Texas and I had not been much concerned with the news. When I told the officer I did not favor Carter he told me that, “Carter is no friend of Chile’s and, if elected, there will be no good press for Chile in the United States.” What did this man know? I watched and he was right. Even my local paper carried derogatory press on Chile. The Left was much like those who fled their responsibility in Wisconsin under the auspices of the Bolshevik labor union. Carter could not have controlled the press but who or what did? He did not oppose that control. Neither does he oppose the subversive left Now the support has shifted from the subversives in Chile to the Muslim violence but it has not nor will it reject violence. One or more books could be written on the abundance of these facts so I will close with this.
Debt is not income. Business does not, nay, cannot create jobs, much less our government. Those jobs are created solely on customer demand, first your demand for food that can make you active under the most disagreeable of circumstance just to get something in your stomach on up to the most frivolous trinket you might wish to spend your money on. Sure we have advertisement to make you want the product but no one has the power to make you buy. When purchase is the result of coercion it has overstepped the freedom of liberty. 1 Peter 2:16
we tend to think that Liberty and freedom are synonymous when they are not; Freedom comes from Liberty but we can lose that Liberty by exercising our freedom. Liberty does control our action and when we reject that control we also lose our liberty; Think about this for it is not obvious but we invoke liberty all the time under virtually all circumstances. You are free to cheat and steal so why don’t you? It is liberty that keeps you from such self destruction.
Funny how you never, ever, see one of these imams or “Muslim Leaders” that are supported by either the State Department or the White House say ANYTHING nice about the United States. Take for example the Ground Zero Mosque Imam Rauf. Have you seen ANY videos of him giving ANY speeches in either Lebanon or Gaza saying how great the United States is? Have you EVER seen him give a speech in a Muslim nation stating how the rest of the world should follow American democracy rather than Islamic dictatorships? Have you EVER seen him give a lecture to Islamic students in Muslim nations that western democratic democracies represent the future, instead of clinging to a theocratic past that can only bring more poverty and human suffering? And have you ever, EVER, seen Rauf give a speech in a Muslim country stating how barbaric and inhuman strict Shariah law is? No, you have not. Ever. And this guys is supposed to be our friend and is embraced by the liberal left as some sort of “peace maker.” What a load of buffalo chips.

What hard left? Left in general. even fat little piggie Katie Couric was bemoaning all the hate directed at the religion of peace, the one we’re at war with. “The enemy of my enemy is my friend”, problem is, to the left America is the enemy.
Al-Arabiya is reporting that Wael Ghonim, one of the secular authors of the uprising on Facebook, was barred from the main stage in Tahrir Square during the “Day of Victory” celebration by Muslim Brotherhood security.
So, a hijack has begun by the MB who were not in on the intial stages of the uprising and could not put enough people on the streets to do it on their own.

It could be we are witnessing a major change in the mid-east as Islamic countries begin the march towards democracy and freedom. Are we seeing the decline of the anti-American Islamic fanatics? Has America been chosen to be the leader of this awakening? Our nation is blessed to have Obama at this time of world peril.

These middle east revolts would have never happened under any center or right leaning president. Barack Obama on the other hand is surely the enabler of what is happening in the middle east. The islamists know that Obama supports secretly their goal of reinstating an islamic caliphate. Under the disguise of freedom and democracy he will put nothing in the islamists way. The pressure on the middle east cooker has been there for a long time and it is no coincidence that these revolts happen when Obama is president. It is known that he is a devoted supporter of islam. By the way who would be the perfect caliph ruling this world wide caliphate that the islamist are striving for?

Hamas has been on the State Dept’s terrorist list through 3 administrations and 5 Sec’ys of State. There have been prosecutions and convictions for aiding Hamas. (So far the flotilla organizers have not been prosecuted.) How is it possible for the Obama admin to have given hundreds of millions in aid directly to Hamas?
There is conflict between two mutually exclusive spirits. One of these spirits draws us after it while the other continually drives. Now no driver can be a leader because he has to be behind you, not in front of you. One of these spirits dangle our lusts before our eyes and tells us that it is our liberty that prevents us from fulfilling those desires and we must fight for they are our rights.
The other spirit tells us that we can indulge but not without consequences There is a way that we believe is right but when we follow that way, which is always reasonable, we reap death. Liberty gives us true freedom, freedom never gives liberty. Liberty always comes first and gives us the liberty to do wrong so we can choose to do right. I believe this is what Jamie is holding out to us. We are at liberty to hug tyranny but then tyranny can take away our liberty. If we choose liberty we will, in no uncertain terms, reject tyranny. They cannot exist under the same roof.
The Left will have nothing to celebrate if Islam takes hold in western nations.Lets see now……Islam dosn’t allow free speech,dosn’t support gay rights,is indifferant to animal rights and the environment,opposes alcohol use,even in moderation,they’re opposed to womens rights,religious freedom or the right to be an Athiest.And thats just a start.Islam will ultimately be no friend of the Left if they gain power.The Left don’t see this as all their thoughts are over-ridden by hatred of the West.
