When everything is said and done, it is likely that Rudy Giuliani will oppose Hillary Clinton in 2008. John McCain is finished and hoping to be taken seriously as the running mate. There is simply no Democrat who can beat Hillary. She can only beat herself.
It is too bad that the discussion betwen Corn and Miniter took place before Giuliani’s comments regarding gun control. This might have been the icing on the cake. Many conservatives will now feel more comfortable with his campaign.
