He should have served notice years ago that if you allow terrorists across the border we will use the sand free glass technique to stop you. Namely we keep disintegrating border towns and stop until either the smuggling stops or Syria is a glass parking lot. The only thing Syria understands is force, diplomacy is a sign of weakness.
