As the video relates, “Dawa Net,” one Islamic organization that instructs on how to use the schools to inculcate the young, explains that public schools in America are “fertile grounds where the seeds of Islam can be sowed inside the hearts of non-Muslim students.”

This a sixth-grade class from a public school in Wellesley, MA, working with another of these innocuous-sounding “charities” that are really leftwing fronts, using taxpayer-funded field trip time to take unsuspecting children to a mosque that’s notorious for its connections to the Muslim Brotherhood, for the kids to be indoctrinated.
There’s no excuse for this. Everyone on the school’s staff who had anything to do with this trip should be fired.

If it were my son that had been made to do that I would have demanded the teachers who stood by and allowed this to happen be fired. If they were not, I’d sue the school district. Sick.
Can you imagine if this happened at a Cathedral or Synagogue? There would be hell to pay.

Our church sends kids to Mosque, Buddhist Temple, and Synagogue as part of confirmation class. In our case, the kids have a pretty good briefing on what to expect – including studying an excellent history of Islam and the major modern sects. They go to Israel at the end, and there is a supervised debate between Islamic, Jewish, and Christian kids.

I don’t understand how you can teach your students the history of Islam without noting that for most of Islam’s history, one or another Muslim nation was always in the process of expanding it’s territories, through war.
I saw this on Fox News. They would have never been taken to a church or a synagogue because that might have crossed the church-state line in the eyes of the school. I guess my question is, why does a field trip to a mosque and Muslim religious prayers not cross the same line? Can that question be answered by the school officials in Wellesley, Massachusetts? Teacher unions and increased civil service protections make this nearly impossible. I even doubt if they could even receive a serious verbal reprimand. This is simply another reason why our public schools must be abandoned.

The question then becomes: why didn’t the school also take the students to a Christian church? They took the class to a mosque and a synagogue but not a church? Why? Surely there are churches in the area. Taking them to a gospel concert is not the same as taking them to places of worship. I can possibly understand not taking them to a Hindu temple since there may not be any within reasonable driving distance, but there has to have been a church somewhere nearby.
For the record, the teachers say that the students who joined in and bowed to Mecca did so of their own accord. If this is true then I have no problem with it happening; the kids can worship as they please. However if it is learned that the students were prompted to join in by either their teachers or the imam(s) at the mosque then there is a big problem. Public school teachers should not push any religion nor should they allow religious leaders to push their beliefs on the students while they are in class even during a field trip.
The fact is that if the students were taken to a Christian church and joined in the services, even voluntarily, the ACLU and the main stream media and much of the left would be calling it indoctrination and a violation of the separation of church and state.
BTW referring to the writer as a knuckle dragger is hardly taking the high road. Insulting someone is the most basic error in debate and serves more as a demonstration of weakness in your argument and debating style than it does as a condemnation of the intended target.

Sixth graders are not normally capable of effectively absorbing Social Studies, but they are very vulnerable to indoctrination.
No matter what, this school completely bypassed the student’s parents and lied like dogs to them right there in the middle of the mosque.
The high road would be for the school systems to stop trying to destroy America in the name of helping people (or whatever) and start teaching reading, writing and arithmetic.
Then if they want to conduct special Social Studies why not start our Constitution, God, the Holy Spirit and Jesus Christ that America was formed under?
From there, for a field trip why not fill a bunch of school buses up with sixth graders and head off into New York City for a look at the hole in the ground where the World Trade Center buildings used to stand before a mosque gets built there?
Were they required to pray at the gospel concert or synagogue?

There is much more than just a field trip to another religion in this. If I believe in the G-D of Abraham, Issac and Jacob-which I do, and we are told not to bow down to or worship other Gods–which we are; then taking my child to a Mosque and allowing them to bow down and pray to the God of Abraham, Ishmael and Esau (Allah) and saying that “Allah is greater” is unbelieveable and unforgivable. And it really doesn’t matter how many other religious places they are taken–this REALLY crossed the line!! There is a big difference in breaking man’s laws and G-D’s laws–and this school participated in breaking the latter!!

apparently you didn’t watch the video. The mosques founder was arrested for links with Al Qaeda, one of the main backers attacked Jews, and then one of the teens at the mosque spouted the same thing the backer said about Jewish people. One of the Imam’s told children at the mosque to get guns and swords to do ‘their duty’. The convert women lied to the students about women’s rights giving the students false and misleading information. The same mosque promotes wife beating on their site.
Now I don’t think the Hindus, Christian or Jewish places are promoting terrorism, beating women, hatred of others, advocating violence, and lies, but the Mosque was.
Now who are the people “dragging” their knuckles? It appears some people at the mosque were.
After watching the video I am of the opinion that the boys( including one Jewish boy) were coerced into praying. I think this is totally unacceptable that impressionable young children are taken to a mosque where this could happen.Why did the teachers not explicitly say no and leave? WHy did they enable this? This is just how sneaky Islamic DAWA is– acting and coercing young impressionable minds. As a parent I will in future NEVER give permission for my child to attand ANY mosque or Islamic visits. I will also educate my children about the duplicity of Islam and taqiyya and enable them to stand strong against this curse on our western civilisation and way of life.

It should not be up to the school to determine which church, synagogue or mosque the students attend. If going to a church or saying a prayer or having the ten commandments displayed in a classroom is violating the so called division between church and state, then busing them to a mosque is too. It is up to parents and their children to determine their religious upbringing or lack thereof. This is one more case of the schools coming between parents and their offspring. We were infiltrated once before by the placing of socialist teachers and professors into our school system, and we are now reaping the rewards of their teachings….no respect for our constitution, our forefathers, our military, etc. If we let it happen again and allow our children to be indoctrinated to the Muslim beliefs, we will have sharia law before you can say Barack Hussein Obama.

I am in no way condoning this activity. That said, every student would have had to have a permission slip signed by a parent. My daughter would not have gone. Our personal choice. If the parents involved are not being informed prior to such controversial activity, then it’s THEIR job to demand justification.
There should be no permission slips because there should be no trips to ANY house of worship…PERIOD! Remember, other than informing kids there ARE various religions that people practice, libs demanded religion & prayer be taken out of school…& that means ALL religions.

What were the school leaders thinking? Where is Arnie Duncan, Obama’s education Tsar and the ACLU. Aggrieved parents should sue those responsible for the trip plus the school district for violations of the civil rights act. School personnel forced participation of children to participate in Muslim prayers in violation of the 1st Amendment establishment clause. It is passed time to end this crap. Reversing the Muslim tactic of lawfare is a good start.
That’s a terrific idea, Paddy. And if the parents win their case–and I don’t know why they wouldn’t–I believe the government will pay their lawyers’ legal fees, just as they do those of the ACLU (which is why so many of the ACLU’s lawsuits are settled, as well as why so many are brought).
If it turns out the government feels it’s more important to protect our children from any whisper of Christianity than to protect them from forced or semi-forced participation in Muslim prayer, then we’ll know we’re in even more trouble than we imagined!
Since Congress has legislated that ‘hatred’ cannot be considered when musing about certain races of people, “We the People” are forbidden to hate any race of human being. But, to hate a religious cult is not illegal, and is being encouraged by Congress and our Supreme Court.

The Team B II Consensus
“It is not within the scope of this study to solve the widely divergent estimates of the strength of these respective camps. The imperative driving this study is America’s national security and, by extension, the security of its friends and allies.
Like their counterparts a generation ago, the members of Team B II collectively bring to this task decades of hands-on experience as security policy practitioners and analysts, much of it involving shariah’s proponents of both the violent jihadist and pre-violent dawa stripes. They have distinguished backgrounds in national defense policy-making, military, intelligence, homeland security and law enforcement communities, in academia and in the War of Ideas. Thanks to their expertise and dedication, this new report represents an authoritative, valuable and timely critique of the U.S. government’s present policy towards shariah and its adherents, an assessment of the threat it entails and a call for a long-overdue course-correction. It reflects consensus on the following significant points:
First, the shariah adherents who comprise the supremacist camp constitute a mainstream and dynamic movement in Islam. Importantly, that characterization does not speak to the question of whether this camp is or is not representative of the “true Islam.” There are over a billion Muslims in the world, and their understandings about their belief-system, as well as their practices with respect to it, vary. In light of this, there may not be a single “true Islam.” If there is one, we do not presume to pronounce what it holds.
What cannot credibly be denied, however, is that:
a. shariah is firmly rooted in Islam’s doctrinal texts, and it is favored by influential Islamic commentators, institutions, and academic centers (for example, the faculty at al-Azhar University in Cairo, for centuries the seat of Sunni learning and jurisprudence);
b. shariah has been, for over a half-century, lavishly financed and propagated by Islamic regimes (particularly Saudi Arabia and Iran), through the offices of disciplined international organizations (particularly the Muslim Brotherhood); and
c. due to the fact that Islam lacks a central, universally recognized hierarchical authority (in contrast to, say, the Roman Catholic papacy), authentic Islamic moderates and reformers have an incredibly difficult task in endeavoring to delegitimize shariah in the community where it matters most: the world’s Muslims.
Consequently, regardless of what percentage of the global Islamic population adheres or otherwise defers to shariah (and some persuasive polling indicates that percentage is high in many Islamic countries), it is punching well above its weight. For that reason, it is a serious threat to the United States even if we assume, for argument’s sake, that hopeful pundits are correct in claiming that shariah Islam is not the preponderant Muslim ideology.
A second point is that it is vital to the national security of the United States, and to Western civilization at large, that we do what we can to empower Islam’s authentic moderates and reformers. That cannot be done by following the failed strategy of fictionalizing the state of Islam in the vain hope that reality will, at some point, catch up to the benign fable. Empowering the condign elements of Islam requires a candid assessment, which acknowledges the strength of shariah – just as defeat of Twentieth Century totalitarian ideologies required an acknowledgment of, and respect for, their malevolent capabilities.
To do this, it is paramount that we no longer allow those who mean to destroy our society – including to sabotage it from within – to camouflage themselves as “moderates.” The definition of moderation needs to be reset, to bore in on the shariah fault-line. Only by identifying those Muslims who wish to impose shariah can we succeed in marginalizing them.
As this study manifests, the shariah system is totalitarian. It imposes itself on all aspects of civil society and human life, both public and private. Anyone obliged actually to defend the proposition that shariah should be adopted here will find few takers and be properly seen for what they are – marginal and extremist figures. That, and only that, will strengthen true proponents of a moderate or reformist Islam that embraces freedom and equality.
Third, we have an obligation to protect our nation and our way of life regardless of the ultimate resolution of Islam’s internal strife. We can do a far better job of empowering non-shariah-adherent Muslims, who are our natural allies, but we cannot win for them – they have to do that for themselves. Irrespective of whether they succeed in the formidable task of delegitimizing shariah globally, we must face it down in the United States, throughout the West and wherever on earth it launches violent or ideological offensives against us.”

I remember reading about a similar field trip in Europe (Holland? not sure of the exact country) where a group of Christian schoolchildren went to visit a mosque and the imam had them stand with their heads bowed, and said in arabic “you are the children of apes and pigs”.
With Islam, tolerance is a one-way street.
Imagine if a group of public school kids visited a church, partook of communion and crossed themselves with holy water. Can you imagine the outcry from liberals and the ACLU? How many of those teachers would be reassigned? But the libs think it is A-OK if it is done in a mosque. There 5 prayers that need to be recited by a person who wishes to convert to Islam. These prayers must be said in fron of 2 witnesses.
At least the first of the 5 required prayers was recited in this worship service. the 2d, 3d, 4th, & or 5th may have been included as well.
Your comment of ‘wishes to convert to Islam’ is significant. I doubt that these kids wanted to join that cult. In addition, I think that a prospective convert must always chose an Islamic name. I suggest ‘Al yabba dabba doo’.
You’re going to a mosque and you didn’t know that there was going to be some sort of religious activity taking place? Didn’t the people who were in charge of the field trip already know that this prayer would take place as part of the itinerary? Hindsight is always 20/20 but perhaps someone could have found this out ahead of time and given people the choice to opt out. Or is this being narrow-minded and bigoted? I can only imagine that a lot of teachers as well as students were too uncomfortable once the prayer started to do anything but participate. What an awkward situation to have to be in.
Cases like this will become all the more common as radical Islamists grow more and more aggressive in the United States.

As has already been said, while there may be “moderate Muslims” there is no “moderate Islam,” and the fact of the matter is that, as the writer says, a la Mao and his “Peoples War,” the sea of “moderate Muslims” is where the Jihadis swim, and get their oxygen, their food, and their concealing cover. If it were not for the absolutely essential cover and support they receive from “moderate Muslims,” the Jihadis would not be able to operate with anywhere near the freedom that they currently have; Muslim solidarity against us hated “unbelievers,” and the law of Muslim “Omerta” have served the Jihadis extremely well.
The Jihadis are not “Islamists” or “radicals,” or “fundamentalist” Muslims, nor are they a “fringe group” but rather, they are very much mainstream Muslims for, from what they say, from the passages of the Qur’an, from the sayings and incidents in Muhammad’s career, from the precedents from Muslim history they cite as justifications for their actions, they are grounded in, embody, and are acting out the fundamental viewpoint, tenets and goal of the conversion, enslavement, or killing of all unbelievers and of the world’s conquest by Islam that is the central thrust of the Qur’an, of Muhammad’s life, and of Islam itself.
In my view, the billion or so “moderate Muslims” are ominously silent spectators, gathered on the sidelines of the current battlefield where their more activist coreligionists, the Jihadis, attack and fight and kill us unclean, hated “unbelievers” (including those Muslims who the Jihadis find insufficiently orthodox in viewpoint, or those Muslims who unfortunately happen to be “collateral damage” when the Jihadis are just trying to “get ‘er done”). I view the silence of these “moderate Muslims” and their inaction—no statements or demonstrations of any kind or size against Jihad and Muslim violence and terror, no proposed major excision of the violent parts from the Qur’an, or popular centers, leaders, or movements pushing this idea–as acquiescence, not disapproval, for, after all, the Qur’an tells them that any spoils wrested from the unbelievers will be their legitimate war booty. They are not our saviors; they are Islam’s reserve battalions, which will come in on the side of the Jihadis for the final kill.
The writer is correct in his diagnosis and correct in the treatment he recommends, although he sees way too many shades of gray here. Islam is not a religion but a violent, supremacist, totalitarian military and political ideology cloaked in the thinnest of religious disguise, an ideology that has been very carefully created to be impervious to reform, and any real and thorough reform would take the heart out of Islam and destroy it. While “containment” of Islam might be possible, compromise with Islam is not; Islam is not built for compromise.
There really are only one of two possible outcomes here, either the “unbeliever” democracies of the West recover their “civilizational confidence,” and their clear moral vision, we decide that us unbelievers and our civilization and ideals are, indeed, worth defending and fighting for, and after a very long or a very short and incredibly bloody struggle involving nuclear weapons, Islam is decisively defeated, or Islam wins its war of deceit, subversion and violence, the West and all its nations and peoples are conquered and enslaved, and we enter a new Dark Ages.
So far, given the “evidence on the ground,” the possibility of a new Dark Age seems much more likely.
I really don’t see a problem with this field trip. No one was forced to go. Parents could say no if they did not want their children to go. Participating in one prayer is not going to make these kids Muslim. As a 7th grader we had a field trip to the Jewish Temple Beth Jacob to study Judaism as part of our cultures and religion studies. I was in a public school and we all went and the boys put yarmulkes on and we sang hymns and said a prayer while we were there. We weren’t being forced to, or “indoctrinated” to become Jews!
I think people need to be careful in using inflammatory words that spread fear and hate! In no way was this a covert terrorist mission to grab our kids young and ship them off to train as Al-Qaeda members! I think some reflection on this trip, and exactly what it was that happened needs to occur. Would the same people be just as upset if they had visited a Buddhist temple, a Catholic church, or a Jewish temple, and been asked to participate in a song or prayer? Would a warning about that group trying to “indoctrinate our young” go out like wild fire and start fear and falsehoods? I think perhaps not.
The web site that released this very well put together video was called peace and tolerance, yet I am seeing fear and hate. All religious peoples no matter what God they choose to believe in are taught to spread the word and truth of their religion. As a Christian I have been taught through Bible and God’s word to spread the news and laws of God as he has taught us. Show we are Christians be our love! I am more and more disturbed every day by the fear of “extremist Islam”. There are extremists in every group of people in every nation of this world. We need to step back and take a good look into our own hearts and question if the words and messages we are sharing fall into that category as well!
