Pamela of Atlas Shrugs wraps up a week that wasn’t. “Baker. Who died and made him king?” Be sure to stay for a soul-stirring rendition of “Kumbaya” at the end.

Pamela, you are doing great… the vlog today (less interruptions!) was trademark you… with a good dose of motivation and hope…. GREAT GREAT GREAT. Can’t wait for the Caroline Glick podcast!!!
But what a coup on your posting of the MLK writing…. And what a cool site, Hip Hop Republican!!! (you’ve been added to their blogroll, FYI).
Also glad you liked the boredsoldierblog link I sent… it’s so heartening to know that soldiers like him exist.

But Pamela, as the ISG suggests, we need to LISTEN to the jihadists to UNDERSTAND what they REALLY THINK about us.
Before they try to kill us.
James Baker’s ISG Report called for the right of return for the Palestinians. This is the equivalent of calling for the destruction of Israel.
If we ever wondered previously whether Baker really meant it when he said, “F**k the Jews,” we know now that he did.
The most amazing thing about it is this whole desire to throw the Jews down the well doesn’t even rationally belong in any possible negotiation regarding Iraq. Iran and Syria’s behavior towards Iraq is in no way related to Israel. There is no rational relationship between the issues.
It seems to me Baker merely has a diabolical interests in destroying Israel.
pamela:
you are a beacon of hope.
this isg business leaves me even more downcast than the mid-term election results. the “blueprint” for the demo deconstruction of “w’s” efforts these past 6 years.
we are so close to achieving the ends we seek, just a little more perseverance and effort, and it is ours. and then this “study group” nonsense comes out, with its asinine views of diplomacy with iran and syria, and gives the enemy heart and conviction that it has us whipped, if they can stay the course.
and the betrayal of israel.
it has just left me heartbroken.
yet, you hang in there, you keep punching and urging us to fight the good fight, … , you are indomitable. i just admire your grit.
thank you.
and your children. sweetness, personified. the apples, of course, do not fall far from the trees.
good vlog, pamela.

It is simply amazing to me that the greatest country in the world has yet to awaken to the threat it faces from murderous Arabs. How else to say it? Is there some politically correct way to describe the vast territories surrounding Israel that are roiled and rent by decidedly barbarous impulses? By a religion which refers to nonbelievers as monkeys and pigs? Why are we tolerating this?
I go to Atlas Shrugs every day to get to the real GRAVAMEN of this threat, this crisis, which our “leftwing, jihad media” refuses to acknowledge. Someday folks like Pamela will be vindicated — but how many will die first?
ok, everyone to my house – I’ll put up the coffee ………
Love your work, deary. It’s the best. And love the home atmosphere and the realism of dogs, kids and body-nazi equipment. However, there were too many distractions in this one–barking dogs, ringing phones–to be effective. You’ve got such an important message, so don’t let it be drowned out by too much domestic chaos cuteness.
And keep up the great work, Pamela.
Agree with your vblog, but one critique. Can you please record your content in a location where a dog won’t bark in the background and a phone is ringing??
i dunno.
kinda like the dogs and the kids and the “chaos.”
we get enough stuffy set pieces from studios, kind of arid and stale. nice to see commentary coming out of real life settings, reminds me, at least, what is at stake in all of this.
our way of life.
so, i like to see our way of life on display when matters of utmost gravity are being discussed. it lends a very nice context to the urgency of what pamela is discussing.
i guess i do know.–
i like it.

Great Vlog Pamela – this was you at your very best. It’s VLOG’s like this that separate you from the rest of the crowd.
You always put into words, my thoughts.
Like I’ve said before, you’re expresso and everybody else is Sanka…
God Bless those great kids of yours…. awesome, awesome song…I’m still smiling..
Regardless of what the ignorant fools think, Atlas’s vlogs and blog have helped shaped my political beliefs and i have put them to great use in my debates. thank you atlas. you are truly the best.
You make several good points and raise some important questions in your wonderful, inimitable style. Neo-neocon addresses some of these same questions in a recent post on “King” Baker and his royal court: http://neo-neocon.blogspot.com/. It’s worth a look.
You’re making coffee?
Make mine black thanks.
You’re right Pamela, someone needs to tell Bush we ARE behind him.
Hey W! Don’t withdraw! SEND MORE TROOPS and LET THEM DO THEIR JOBS!
Get Ilario Pantano back in the Marines (so to speak) GO KILL THE JIHADIS!
Remember after 9/11, when Bush was standing on the rubble, there’s the story that a blue collar hardhat guy, firefighter or something, going through the rubble, GRABBED Bush and poked his finger in his chest and said, promise you “won’t let them get away with this” – “get those SOBs” (something like that) and Bush said, “I will” and Bush says he always remembers that guy….
Well, I THINK HE FORGOT ABOUT THAT GUY!!!!!!!
BUSH – Kill the Jihadis, forget PC, fire some generals who don’t want to fight, and appoint some that do!
My favorite part of the Vlog – when you said Bolton was trying to tame the lions, NO, make that the Asylum! haha
And I loved the analogy of the dems being spoiled kids and the UN is the car….
REALLY really looking forward to listening to your radio show on Tuesday night, can’t wait to hear the fighter, truth-teller Caroline Glick!
Should be required listening for all soldiers (which we all are).
Someone needs to tell Bush … that every one of us that voted for him is behind him.
Well, that’s not what the polls say!
Polls are slanted and spun….
Many who say they are against his war strategy is because we want him to be MORE AGGRESSIVE!
If Bush got tougher in Iraq, you would see a HUGE upward spike in the polls.
Bottom line, EVERYBODY KNOWS, these polls are worded in a way to put Bush in THE WORST POSSIBLE LIGHT.
It lifted my spirits to hear someone say what I was thinking — about letting Bush know he’s not alone, about Bolton, about Baker, all of it. Your notion about the immature Democrats — I won’t call them children because it would insult children — needing a Daddy to take care of things makes sense. They also need a Daddy to rebel against. They don’t have any idea about what should be done — they just want to do the opposite of what the President wants to do. I wish I did think that John Bolton — that fine man — was actually relieved to be leaving the U.N. Unfortunately, I believe that he’s one of the few who comprehends the depth of the threat to this country and the world and hoped to do some good. Baker, on the other hand, is the kind of guy who’d have his photo taken at the helm of your ship, then scuttle it and jump off just in time to save himself while you went down with it. We do need to let the President know he’s not alone — everyone in Washington is working overtime to make him believe the opposite.
