Listen, all you “progressives” can show up and crap on the carpet all you want to distract from the issues, but the issues are still there and they’re still real. If you’re happy with the exponential growth of government, not only in size but power, just say so and move along. Let me give you a little advice; as I read in another’s words here in another thread, I (as well as many here) totally and completely disagree with you and there’s nothing you can do about it. You are “helpless and impotent to control” our “thoughts, conclusions and comments”. Get used to it. You’re having your way right now, but it won’t always be that way and then you’ll have us to deal with in an entirely different format. Don’t burn your bridges.

I knew the Democrats could have gotten a yellow dog elected last year, but I still had to suspend my disbelief in order to accept that the United States of America actually elected this communist clown as its president. I believe that there is no hope for the future of the repibic. The great experiment in citizen government is now over. Democracy has destroyed it and there will be no peaceful return from the darkness of this abyss. Don’t expect the Republicans to ever fix this mess either. They helped to create it. Just like in every socialist government that has come before ours, that promised nirvana just ain’t going to ever materialize.
I am just glad I am old, so I probably won’t be around when these pompous as politicians start telling everyone what is for breakfast each morning. Hope and change will be hard bisquits to chew, I bet. So keep listening to the never ending propaganda, just like the proverbial useful idiot, but do let me know when the shooting starts. That will be the change I can believe in!

And Blarty, I’d instead encourage you to slog through O-Boy’s two books, then read Fugitive Days by his buddy Ayers. Seems that some people who know a lot more about pattern recognition than you or me feel all 3 books were written by the same person.

Obama is a radical period but has learned from the best how to cloak his radicalness in obfuscating rhetoric. My bet is that his college transcripts have been kept under wraps because they would reveal the radical coursework he embraced. He’s already stated he sought out the Marxists professors.

So let’s see, born to radical parents, communists grandparents, big whig communist as childhood mentor, ACORN lawyer and community rebel rouser, jump started his Chicago political career with support from domestic terrorists, 20 years listening to Black Liberation Theology and on and on. There’s nothing Obama has done that demonstrates a moderation from his far left associations.
