Subject: Comportment
Grade: B
Comment: Generally speaking, Barry’s social skills are unexceptionable, except when he is opposed or contradicted, whereupon he falls into a sulk or responds aggressively. This is something he needs to work on.

Subject: Modern Languages
Grade: F
Comment: Barry appears intent on remaining unilingual, aside from a smattering of Bahasa. His French is nonexistent and his German, which he insists on calling “Austrian,” is, to put it candidly, hopeless. Students may not graduate unless they acquire accredited, written, and spoken fluency in at least one language other than the mother tongue.

Subject: Social Studies
Grade: C+
Comment: Adept at various annex fields, such as community organizing, arranging conferences, and the mechanics of fundraising, Barry does not perform particularly well in the handling of disciplinary concepts. His knowledge of anthropology remains minimal and sociological theory obviously has no appeal for him. His strength resides in empirical maneuvering and class simulations oddly divorced from the world beyond Academy precincts.

Subject: Classics
Grade: F
Comment: It pains us to acknowledge a student who demonstrates no aptitude for this important subject and has indeed advocated striking it from the curriculum. Here, his dismal attendance record speaks for itself.

Subject: Science
Grade: F
Comment: Barry shows little capacity for independent or skeptical inquiry, but seems content to accept the colorful and problematic hypotheses of his less astute classmates. On critical scientific questions, unreflected opinion serves to influence his thinking rather than conscientious analysis.

Subject: Drama
Grade: A++
Comment: There is no doubt that Barry can act. He is impressively adroit at playing any role he is assigned. His virtuosity in this subject is nonpareil.

Subject: Religion
Grade: D
Comment: Barry tends to grow confused in differentiating between various religious traditions or isolating their characteristic doctrines and usages. His grasp of the three great monotheistic faiths, Judaism, Christianity, and Islam, is extremely insecure. If he is interested in gaining religious and spiritual knowledge, private, seminary tutelage would be advisable.

Subject: Mathematics
Grade: D-
Comment: Although Barry has enormous trouble counting, he shows some ability manipulating figures in subdisciplinary practicums, such as real estate computations, tax exercises, or census tabulations. Nevertheless, in all important matters involving mathematical competency, he is largely innumerate.

Summation

We at Presidential are committed to delivering the best possible educational experience to our students, as well as furthering their academic success in the years to come. We are extremely proud of the reputation the Academy has acquired over the years. For this reason, it is important to ensure that the Academy remains in the forefront of pedagogical accomplishment, which plainly demands careful triage among the student clientele.

Unfortunately, we cannot recommend that young Barry proceed to the next level of the Presidential program. We therefore suggest that he contemplate a career in theater, where he is certain to excel. Alternatively, he may consider going into politics, his poor showing in political science notwithstanding. In point of fact, this might actually constitute an advantage.

We wish him the best of luck. He is clearly not entirely ungifted and we are confident he will prosper elsewhere.

So, what was the final GPA? Is there an Affirmative Action curve involved?

    Subject: Public Speaking Grade: B++

Are you kidding? He’s made more verbal flubs, gaffes, and pearls of stupidity than anyone before in American politics. Anyone. The moron still hasn’t learned how to use the indefinite article. He can’t bring himself to utter the word, “an”. Have you not noticed this? He uses a long “a”, as in “aaaay illegal …” or “aaaay enormous …”. Go listen to him again.

And when he’s not mangling 2nd grade level English, he’s abusing 8th grade notions of mathematics, as with his “profit and earnings ratios”. Not only doesn’t the idiot know that profits and earnings are the same thing, but he never learned that you don’t use “and” to describe the factors of a ratio. That is part of 8th grade mathematical word problems … which indicates that The Precedent probably didn’t crack 440 on the math section of his SATs.

Other than that, he has let out with a series of goofs, obnoxious slang terms, nasty rhetoric and an unlimited flow of stupid inaccuracies, such as when he pondered medicine and said that it was “$30,000 … $40,000 … $50,000″ to hack your foot off – but the docs get paid on time for that – or that doctors yank the tonsils because that’s where the money is. I could go on and on. Every day he says about 5 ridiculously stupid things, usually with poor English and a good number of “uh”s.

Subject: Public Speaking Grade: 18/100 (He is far below an F)

  3. 3. Conservative1

You didn’t give him a grade for Class. F. You can’t polish a turd.

  4. 4. Adina Kutnicki,Israel

The POTUS would surely not have graduated from either of my son’s high schools ! due to his utter lack of basic ! history acumen. This is a required subject in ALL high schools, let alone preparatory academies.

It is hard to believe that he graduated from what has been touted as the best prep school in Hawaii. Either it is NOT the best, or the teachers just let him squeak by-out of affirmative action bias.

The Frisch School, a top prep high school in NJ, and the Academy for the Advance of Science & Technology in NJ would have booted him out their doors for his sub par performance. After all they had their standards to uphold.

So, the next time his supporters wax poetic about his intellectual heft, I defer them to this well written assessment, and demand that they counter the failing grades given!

I only would have given him a high grade in the art of rhetoric, not even an academic subject, but what is considered to be an extracurricular activity.

  5. 5. Paul -Indiana

    Public speaking- D. Public reading – A.

  6. 6. AThinkingPerson

Who amongst us can top the “polish a turd” comment? I’m not even going to try. I am going to step out of the way now for the herd of trolls that will surely arrive here shortly to try and argue that during a liberal administration, it’s always correct to grade on a curve.

  7. 7. Middleman

Interesting that on O’Rielly’s show, Karl Rove himself gave Obama’s administration marks higher than I would ever imagine. Only one D and the rest were basically Bs. I guess he’s a RINO now.

  8. 8. elvis

He may be a junior high actor…. and for the life of me… I do not understand how anyone thinks he speaks well!

A classy statement from a classy guy (gal?), proving that you can indeed polish a turd.

So far he gets an F from me.Im unimpressed despite all the media and events. And i dont do idol worship or communism/socialism either sooooo to steal a phrase from the blond on my right here,”ill keep my guns, money and freedom ,you keep the change!”Exposing a marxist?-Priceless.

What qualifications does Solway have? None. Is he a right wing nut? Yes. What would you expect from a right wing nut? A totally biased report. Case closed

This was great! I love it! It is nice to have a real gut wrenching laugh after all the crap that Barry has been throwing down lately.

Oh my! We do have to keep a sense of humor, for our health anyway.

  13. 13. Calvin Ball

    You can’t polish a turd.

Dip one in flecto-varathane some time. You may not be able to polish it, bit you can make it shiny, and stink-free.

That’s how they do it in Chicago.

Class? Yeah… it oozes from my pores because I am thankful for living in the best country in the world. I am thankful for the braves souls that protect me from evil; foreign and domestic. I am thankful for the right to free assembly. I am thankful for the ability to put up with socialist radicals that are elected POTUS.

    What is your story Troll?

The below comment you made in another thread just proves to me you are morally and intellectually bankrupt. Now pack up your socialist agenda and beat it. Was that classy enough for you? Or do you want me to call you a turd?

  20. 20. Seriously

Luckily for the rest of us you people have been barred from being authority figures in our country. Your grades are meaningless. Why don’t you all just sit back and take it for the next 7 1/2 years. Because Barry as you love to call him will surely outsmart you goons again. Face it, the next election will come down to economics, the market cycles and will be much stronger in 2012 than it is right now. and when it rebounds who do you think will get the credit?

Speaking of grades; did Obama ever release his grades?

  23. 23. AF_Vet

“Because Barry as you love to call him will surely outsmart you goons again”

Kinda like he’s ‘outsmarting’ Sarah Palin? Like he’s ‘outsmarting’ the rest of American that now see through him?

“and when it rebounds who do you think will get the credit?”

Wait a minute? You mean the markets are actually cyclical, and not directly run by the President? Wow, that sure is a different story than the media and libs told for the last 8 years when GWB was in the Oval Office. My, how things change in a few short months.

“the market cycles and will be much stronger in 2012 than it is right now.”

Really? And you know this how, Kreskin? Because if Barry gets his way with the economy…this recession will turn into a depression. If you haven’t noticed, Obambi’s economy, not so good, and he’s not helping it with his messed up policies.

By the way, you may want to hold off on making predictions as far out as 2012, there zippy. I think you may want to wait and see what happens next year in the Mid-Terms. In fact, for Barry’s sake, this economy had better pick up real hard, pretty damn quickly–you Dem losers can’t wait til 2012 (as you predicted), otherwise your Here Zero will be a two-year lame duck. You can rest assured that if Hillary smells Barry’s blood in the political water, all bets are off bub.

Ain’t politics fun? Especially after eight years of bitching, and then finding out your political Messiah Obama actually has to govern, rather than campaign?

    My grade for Obama: F-

  24. 24. Seriously

Dem losers? What planet are you on? The dems won. And will continue to win as long as Republicans think the silent majority consists of middle aged to elderly white people. Take a look into the changing demographics, the future electorate will consists of more brown faces and young people who overwhelmingly skew democratic.

In terms of GWB and economics I would gladly spend $1 trillion stimulating the domestic economy than wasting it on some crusade in the middle east.

Don’t hold your breath for 2010, 2012 and beyond. And pretty please get Palin to run for anything we need more trashy reality tv.

  25. 25. truepeers

Face it, the next election will come down to economics, the market cycles and will be much stronger in 2012 than it is right now. and when it rebounds who do you think will get the credit?

-it’s tough grading someone’s social skills a B when he attracts such devout loyalty. It is quite amazing how much attention the pump-the-market media has given to BO’s “stimulus”, as if America can continue to borrow a quarter trillion dollars a quarter indefinitely to hold off the reckoning, all the while doing nothing to expose the years of fraud and unwind the toxic assets in the banking system, jailing and bankrupting those who deserve it. Just what part of Barry’s backing up the gangster-crony state do his legions consider “progressive”? Here comes the sun king….

I’d bet any market recovery in 2012 is going to be from lows most people who dutifully know what all the “smart” gnostic people know have no idea are coming. The report card in a couple of years will be much more revealing. Perhaps DS can impress the trolls with some futuristic poetic license.

The same planet on which Rasmussen shows Dems trailing Republicans in generic matchups. For six straight weeks, with the gap widening.

    OUCH!

The same planet that shows Americans’ growing collective disdain for Obamacare; the same one that shows Barry’s overall approval ratings going down faster than Paris Hilton in an amateur sex video.

Yes, as your dear leader constantly reminds us: You won (past tense). But that was a lttle while ago. You may want to keep up–you’re no longer winning (present tense).

Oh, and as for that ‘trashy’ Palin chick: she derailed your Democrap Healthcare reform with 2 (TWO) Facebook postings.

    Sucks to be you guys!

  29. 29. bibio44

I guess Mr. Solway stays in Canada, despite his great concern for the US’s well being, so that he can enjoy government healthcare and other such benefits unavailable down here.

    27. Good point. The trolls will boast of Obama’s popularity with polls that are months out of date. We must always have up to date information on hand to refute their nonsense.

Why do we have to stop at mere academic titles, David Solway, when the most powerful elected official on earth has so many other measurement?
    Let us try these parameters:
Executive skills in organizing and delegating,
    Uniter/polarizer of citizenry,
    Transparancy and accountability of government,
National defense as commander in chief,
    Enforcer of existing laws,
Upholder of the constitution as written, and
Political leader of his party, to name a few. Where would he score in those endeavors?

  34. 34. David Solway

Folks, just to get a few things straight. Seems to me there’s a tad too much WURD-slinging going on here and it might be preferable to comport ourselves with a little more dignity as we debate these crucial issues. Irony is great, provided it’s based on demonstrable issues and factors. With respect to some of my detractors among the talkbacks, I would like to point out that I remain in Canada because I am Canadian–but a Canadian who knows, as I’ve said before, that what happens south of the border will affect us in significant ways. This has nothing to do with healthcare which, if you’ve been following the various lists and comparative ratings, Canada figures near the bottom–indeed, in a recent survey of 35 nations, Canada came in 35th. We go the States when things get serious. Michael Moore knows not whereof he speaks. And neither, I’m afraid, does Obama.

And Monsieur Shadow, I hope you will permit me an observation. You are perfectly free, of course, to be as piqued, critical or even sardonic as you like, but you must base your apercus on a platform of fact. It’s a question of civility. Naturally, you need not like or even read my book–many people have done neither–but you should do your research before proceeding to a put-down. Obviously you are right that The Big Lie has vanished into the oblivion of Amazon.com, but you should at least be aware that the book was published in Canada, not the U.S., that it was no. 13 on Amazon.ca, and that it has now sold out and is currently out of print.

More importantly, it’s clear that I’m not overly fond of Barack Obama, but you should also know that when he first embarked upon his candidacy I had no brief whatsoever against him. I simply waited and patiently acquired all the data I could, and by the time he acceded to the Presidency I already knew what to expect. Obama is quite literally the most important political figure on the planet and it behooves all of us to familiarize ourselves with every aspect of his history, his statements and his policies.

I believe that Obama is a catastrophe in the making. Time will tell, as it always does. But as I say, you are certainly free to disagree with my analysis, only let’s keep it civil.

    David

  35. 35. LeighB

As Beavis and Butthead might say, “…he said apercus. Huh-huh-huh.”

More seriously, I appreciate that the author is willing to critique Obama, something the MSM is unwilling to do in the USA. The Obama-fatigue is growing…he is overexposed, he never stops talking. How can one person be so vague?

I also believe Obama is a catastrophe in the making. Hope at some point in the future I can change that view.

  36. 36. Delia

    34. David Solway,

Mr. Solway, I guess you didn’t get the memo? It’s ‘trollpalooza’ today. The natives are restless and bitter. -And, here I thought the Left were supposed to be the “shiny, happy people”? Go figure!

“Obama is quite literally the most important political figure on the planet and it behooves all of us to familiarize ourselves with every aspect of his history, his statements and his policies.”

EXACTLY. Tiptoeing around 0bama and what he stands for [or against] is NOT a good idea and could cost the world dearly. Ignorance is not bliss, it’s downright dangerous.

  37. 37. malclave

“he did not perform well in organized sports and games”

i.e., does not play well with others

We shouldn’t be too hard on Barry, though. He’s stated himself that he belongs in classes for the developmentally challenged..

  40. 40. David Solway

Delia, that comes as a surprise to me. I had a call a short while ago from a professor who said he’s finally got hold the book–from a public library. I needed an extra copy for my own purposes but neither Amazon.ca nor Chapters/Indigo, our largest book chain, was able to find it. I know there are a few copies banging around on Abebooks, which is where I had to order it from. I will ruefully confess that I only wrote the book but never read it, which I’ll have to do one of these days, if only to find out what’s in it.

  41. 41. Delia

Well, now you know where to get another copy if ever you need it (lol).

    Here too btw:

P.S. Why didn’t you read your book? Was the writing more of it more of a catharsis? That reminds me of some of the things I’ve written years ago and when I read them now it’s like reading a stranger [almost].

  42. 42. paul_unalaska

bibio44, regarding your ..’so that he can enjoy government healthcare and other such benefits unavailable down here.’

Here’s a recent quote from Dr. Anne Doig, President of the Canadian Medical Association -

“We all agree that the system is imploding, we all agree thsat things are more precarious than Canadians realize. We’re all running flat out, we’re all just trying to stay ahead of the immediate day-to-day demands.”

bibio44 – what she’s saying is Canada’s medical model is broken. Great ‘Government health care and other such benefits..’

A Socialist model isn’t compatible in the medical field either, apparently.. Who da thunk it?

  43. 43. Dave

It may make us feel better that the left is lead by a failing narcissist and he owns the product of his stupidity, but unfortunately he is currently President and being checked only by protesting as he other branches are currently controlled by equally ignorant fools. His screw-ups are hurting us all. Our nation needs a complete change of direct and soon.

  44. 44. RightByNature

    Seriously……

“In terms of GWB and economics I would gladly spend $1 trillion stimulating the domestic economy than wasting it on some crusade in the middle east.”

Oh yeah, the economy is really booming with all the stimulus it’s received! I’m sure all those bigwigs at AIG, etc., felt really stimulated when bailout money went to pay them their big bonuses rather than what it was originally intended. Didn’t have much of a trickle down affect to stimulate the economy though. Are you talking about Afghanistan when you say “wasting it on some crusade in the middle east? Of course you’re not since that war belongs to “The One.” Very hypocritical of the left when Iraq is bad, Afghanistan is good. News out of Afghanistan has sure been kept to a minimum, unlike the daily reportings and criticizing of the Iraq war during the GWB days.

It really is amazing though to see someone so optimistic about this country’s future – excuse me, I’m sorry, I meant to say someone so clueless. It’s really going to suck to be you when you finally take off your rose colored glasses.

  45. 45. Steve Smith

I thought that the “Mythbusters” polished a turd in one episode. Can anyone confirm?

Nothing wrong with a Canadian commenting on US politics – we Canadians can’t vote in US elections but we do suffer the consequences. What is wrong is Canadians hectoring and lecturing Americans about the US as if Canada is somehow morally superior (which it is not). Mr Solway is not hectoring nor is he lecturing.

US politics is much more interesting than our own, so keeping up to date with US politics is, ironically, a Canadian national sport. Our interest is a compliment.

  51. 50. The Shadow:”Funny I know about ten surgeons in Canada and none of them come to the US for their care.

This is at best anecdotal. Name them and where they work, is it all in the same hospital or clinic or what and why do you know so many? I think you are lying and probably so do others only I just said so.

Just posting something does not make it factual you idiot.

  52. 52. GIjoe

Obama has “rhetorical skills”? Jeez, Hitler,Stalin,Mao, Castro,Ho Chi MInh, Che Gueverra,Lenin and even Yuri Andropov had “rhetorical skills”. Im more concerned about the Obamaskanks other similarities to all of the above.

  53. 53. Marc Malone

As long as we’re grading exec skills… how about hiring decisions? Personnel is policy, y’know.

This is why his administration is such a mess. Skillsets are not inecessary to the ideologues, only purity of thought. The signs were all there before he became President. Remember during the Saddleback Forum, when he was asked about “the three wisest people you know, and whom you would have in your administration”? His answers were his wife and grandma. WTF?

Then, he kept nominating all the tax-cheats and ethically-challenged people he could find to his Cabinet. It was hilarious and horrifying, all at the same time. Had he surrounded himself with competence, he could have enacted his whole agenda, and completely transformed this country to the Liberal ideal. Thank God for his gross incompetence!

    EPIC FAIL

  54. 54. Maggie

Bottom line – the worst President EVER.

  55. 55. JFM

I know about ten surgeons in Canada and none of them come to the US for their care

Unless you happen to be a surgeon yourself (and in this case I think you would have told so) or be married with one it is highly unlikely that you have ever talked with as many surgeons in your life, let alone have socialized enough with them, they tell you where they go for their care. So I compute there is a 99% probability you are lying.
