These guys are a lot smarter than Hannity & Colmes – and funnier.
These guys are great, Corn needs to calm down which will happen if they keep doing this but I loved it. I think it would be great if they found a way to let bloggers easily post these on their blogs and did this daily or weekly. Keep it coming guys.
I wish they’d talk about the core issue for Dems: Iraq.
Dems campaigned on the idea that they had a New Direction In Iraq plan in 2006, and we still don’t see it-instead we see adhoc efforts that do nothing. They can’t do too much, because any legislation that did would be filibustered or vetoed, and they have to do something or they can’t claim that they provided a new direction as promised.
In particuler, all the Dem candidates for Pres have switched to using the term “combat troops” and admitted that they will keep forces in Iraq (Hillary said so last week, Obama on the floor today). So, with no ABB to run against, and no anti-war to run for…what will be the driving force to get Dem voters to polls?
This stuff is so much better than TV. There is a lot of great political analysis in video dialog form at http://www.bloggingheads.tv, including several dialogs with David Corn, as well as Robert Wright, Mickey Kaus, Glenn Reynolds and many other interesting pundits.
That was terrific. Corn and Miniter are much more affable in the confines of a habitat of their choosing.
There must be something in the air in the Media green rooms that forces a guest to leave their sense of humor at in the car.
I cannot stand Corn!!! I cannot, will not, would not waste one moment on this profound idiot. Trash, Trash, Trash.
Oh, be-have!
What a great idea. Though I prefer Miniter to Corn, it’s still a workable combo.
Keep it short and witty. Much better than a 20 minute podcast, which I never listen to.
I read your poll rules (one percent on Gallup, etc.) and understand. But I bet Fred Thompson is going to be right up there within weeks on the Republican side.
I enjoyed these guys. I don’t ‘like’ David Corn’s political ‘outlook’ ,but so what, he did well on this as did Mr. Minter. Disagreement without being disagreeable. What a refreshing change.
Looking forward to the whole series.
Good work guys.
Corn should be working at the Guardian or the Nation. He’s one of the scribblers/talking heads in the mainstream media giving constant aid and comfort to the enemy.
He used to practically stand up and cheer every time he heard about a U.S. military casualty in Iraq. The resulting bad publicity has made him more careful these days. But we know how he thinks.
If Corn is ever in the same time slot as Rush or Hannity, he’ll be squashed like a roach.
Interesting choice of jacket Richard Miniter. Too much nervous laughter David Corn. (Sorry, I’m in the UK so I got that more than the politics.)
How can Pajamas Media treat David Corn as a legitmate journalist when all along his actions prove him to be a useful idiot?
His involvement aiding Joe Wilson’s Lie is enough for me to say no thanks.
