Plain and Simple: DNC Wants Voter Fraud
Like most people, recently I’ve been asked to present photo identification on a number of occasions without regard to my race, religion, or national origin. The majority of the requests I’ve received have come in circumstances many would consider more or less routine: checking in for a flight and passing through airport security; registering as a guest at a hotel; using a credit card when purchasing something more expensive than a meal or tank of gas; and buying over-the-counter medications. In addition, I was required to show photo identification while visiting the Department of Justice here in Washington.
In the last few weeks, however, my experiences in this regard have been of another sort entirely. On November 17, very much to my surprise, I had a medical emergency. The excellent physicians who treated me prescribed a battery of tests and evaluations by a number of specialists, with whom I had a series of appointments and office visits.
Bear in mind, I was referred to the various specialists for every one of these tests and appointments. So, the offices to which I reported knew I was coming; they knew in advance who I was and why I was there, and they had instructions and records forwarded by other medical professionals in hand when I arrived.
Yet, in every single instance, before these assorted medical offices would see me — and notwithstanding all of the information they had about me already — I was asked to present photo identification.
On the heels of these experiences, just this week I received an urgent email message from the “Director for Voter Protection” of the Democratic National Committee.
Seeing this title — Director of Voter Protection — I almost expected to read about measures being taken by the DNC to protect elderly white citizens from intimidation at the polls by the New Black Panthers. I thought perhaps the DNC was courageously seizing the initiative, since the Department of Justice has declined to take any action against such illegal voter intimidation tactics. Or possibly, I surmised, the DNC is announcing steps to assure that the voting rights of military personnel serving abroad will be protected against the numerous well-documented partisan efforts (by Democrats) to disqualify absentee ballots from our service personnel.
Reading further, I discovered that the email was not about these serious matters. Rather, it warned me of a “Republican effort to pass laws that restrict voting rights,” and of “these laws’ implications for real people.” The DNC, I was told, “will not sit idly by while the Republican Party attempts to infringe on the rights of American voters.”
Well, seeing this, I naturally read on to learn whether the SEIU had switched sides and would now be dispatching thugs to threaten would-be Democratic voters.
Instead, I found that the fuss is all about state laws that would require voters to present photo identification in order to confirm their identities at the polls. Just as I had to confirm my identity at various medical offices. Just as we all must when boarding a plane or checking in to a hotel.
Democrats, it seems, are adamantly opposed to asking voters to confirm their identities. Indeed, the DNC’s email claims that requiring voters to identify themselves violates “fundamental rights.”
Now, unless I’ve missed something, there is no fundamental right to vote without identifying oneself. Just as there is no right to board a plane without presenting proper identification. And I’ll bet one cannot get food stamps or government assistance without identification.

Gerrymandering illegal foreign aliens by suing the state of AZ will do Obama no good if he can’t similarly enable those illegals to vote. It’s a corrupt scheme all around. I doubt a GOP candidate will have the courage to present this scheme as it is but that’s what it is. The fact that it hides behind a facade of compassionate justice makes it even sicker because it in fact hides behind the blatant racism of the National Council of La Raza, the Congressional Black Caucus, NAACP and ACORN. The Dems simply fend off all comers by crying “racism” or “profiling”, a tactic without nuance but which plays well on TV because segments are short and so filibustering by morons like Obama, which he does frequently in the infrequent instances he’s challenged, works wonders.
The Democratic Party has become corrupt beyond belief since the end of the Clinton Presidency and it has been fueled largely by racial considerations. The Rainbow Coalition is a depraved and sad group of historic failure which despises history because of that history’s track record.
The big lie and the reason things never improve for them despite massive programs, bigoted legislation in the way of hate crime and affirmative action is that the future, no matter the crutch provided, will be a mirror image of that past.
You can’t gerrymander reality no matter how much you cajole and bribe. Someday, somewhere, some nation that isn’t blighted by an obsession with making statues of groups that exhibit nothing but endemic failure will look back on this era as one of massive racism and intellectual corruption by the Left that makes the sorry accusations of “paper tigers” and “imperialists” by commies look rather simple minded.
The Democratic Party became “corrupt beyond belief” with the inauguration of Woodrow Wilson and the construction of the infamous Federal Reserve.
We are approaching the 100th anniversary of the International Bankers greatest sin against mankind. One way to resolve this dilemma is to eliminate both the International Bankers and their Banks.
Money has its limitations. Dollars cannot stop bullets. Ultimately the Moslem Hordes will achieve worldwide domination and the Bankers will try to control them with financial games. Then the moslems, ready to die for the theological feces in which they believe, will kill the Bankers. And the survivors, will rise to the top of power, status and wealth.(Feces floats).
At some point we must grasp the handle, and flush the whole mess into the sewer, where they can all be with allah and mohammed forever.
Actually, there is no fundamental right to vote, period. The only thing the Constitution has to say on it is, if there is a vote, it should be fair and equal, and no one should be discriminated against.
IDs are so prevalent, the Democrats level the “serious” charge of “possible inconvenience for some voters.” If voter fraud isn’t a big deal (and Eric Holder thinks it isn’t) then neither is requiring an ID. Considering the sort of people we usually elect, maybe voting does need to be made more inconvenient.
Perhaps you should re-read your Constitution including the amendments.
Amendment 26 – Voting Age Set to 18 Years. Ratified 7/1/1971. History
1. The right of citizens of the United States, who are eighteen years of age or older, to vote shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on account of age.
2. The Congress shall have power to enforce this article by appropriate legislation.
Margaret, you’re right that the Constitution protects voter rights, but in that same amendment it specifies age and citizenship requirements. Those can only be confirmed with verified photo identification. A state issued, verified photo ID can be had from the Texas Department of Public Safety for $16. Almost everyone can afford this, and ALL of those few who can’t could have it paid for by the “Voter Advocates” with the price of ONE of the ads that fight against voter registration.
How about if they can’t afford any other form of ID, they can show their EBT card?
If the EBT card is like those in Michigan the answer is
no. But you must have Birth Certificate, Marriage License
etc in order to receive the EBT card.
Law Professor Barry Soetoro: It only says you must be a citizen to vote. It does not say you must be alive!
TheCableGuy is right: The Constitution does not grant a right to vote. See McPherson v. Blacker (1892). No subsequent amendment to the Constitution or SCOTUS ruling has overturned it. What the Constitution says is who cannot be denied the right to vote, not who can vote. States do that.
Amendment 26 does not grant the right to vote to anyone. Not to anyone at all. What it is says is that the right to vote (if and when the right exists) cannot be denied on the basis of age if 18 or older. The amendment says nothing about being a citizen to be eligible to vote. A woman citizen could have been elected President before Amendment 19 was passed — even if she lived in a state where she wasn’t eligible to vote.
If a state chooses to, it can grant the right to vote to illegal aliens. (Some states have done so in the past.) Or to six-year-olds. Or to anyone — even those who have never set foot on United States soil and make no pretense of being Americans. It’s entirely up to a state to determine who can vote — as long as the state doesn’t discriminate on the basis of race, sex, taxes paid, or age if 18 or over.
Sorry, but a person must be an American citizen to be eligible to vote in our national, state and local elections. Even LEGAL resident aliens are not allowed to vote in our elections. However, thosands of illegal aliens are voting in our elections, thanks in no small part to the Motor-Voter Act, passed by Bill Clinton. If you don’t believe illegal aliens are voting here, you’re sadly ignorant or misinformed. I know they are because when I was working on the border with a specialized U.S. Customs Contraband Enforcement Team, we confiscated literally thousands of voter registration cards being carried by illegal aliens.
It doesn’t say they can’t be infringed. . just that they can’t be infringed on account of age. That if you allow voting, you can’t say that age is a reason for infringement.
My impression is that the way vote fraud is carried out isn’t so much voting dead people as it is voting people who never vote and who probably aren’t even aware they’re registered. My theory is that what all those “voter registration drives” are really about is collecting the names of non-voters and so they can be fraudently voted utilizing shill voters. Requiring ID at the polling booths – which are now watched by local Republicans for ballot box stuffing – wrecks that scam.
You are spot on. That is why the Dems work to get lists of convicts, homeless, and nursing home residents. They are not likely to show up on election day, but Obots can show up and use their names.
No one watches for ballot box stuffing in Oklahoma. I can’t imagine voter fraud being much easier than it is here.
It depends on how well the people working the polling place do their jobs. The area of Oklahoma I vote in has very conscientious people working there, if you’ve never voted there before and/or they don’t recognize you as being a voter in prior elections, they know what questions to ask, the first question is: “are you registered to vote” Voters must show a picture ID, be registered, be listed in the book of registered voters they receive from the Election Board, they look up the voters name, going from the ID presented, in the book and the voter signs their name beside their printed name in that book – no ballot box stuffing or fraud here. No exceptions.
I was present at one incident where a young man came in to vote, the first question; How old are you? (and) are you a first time voter? He replied “18 years and yes”. Do you have ID? he presented his drivers license. Are you registered to vote? “no”. You have to be registered before you can vote. “I saw this guy I know downtown, he gave me $20.00 and told me to come here and vote for ___ ____”.
Needless to say, he didn’t vote in that election.
I have lived and voted in several states, and have never voted where it wasn’t a requirement to be registered to vote in that state and to show a valid ID first. Never.
If these ‘poverty stricken’ people don’t have a valid form of identification, where and how do they manage to get their federal or state aid and/or welfare checks cashed?
I don’t know of a bank or business that doesn’t require valid picture ID before they will cash any check, many banks will no longer cash a check for anyone who doesn’t have an account at that bank, if they do agree to cash a check for someone who doesn’t have an account, they charge a fee of $25.00 or more as well as some form of picture ID and sometimes other ID to back that up.
It appears to me the federal government is infringing on states rights and bringing in the federal courts as ‘enforcers’ to intimidate and ‘muddy the waters’ with bluff and bluster. If the federal ‘justice’ system included people with even a drizzle or a drip of integrity or honor, not to mention ‘justice’, they would refuse to participate in this farce. The person in charge of the federal dept. of justice isn’t worried, he’ll just have his ‘homie in charge’ to shovel another ‘executive order’ or ‘mandate’ or whatever they choose to call it at the time, wave his “I has spoke, so it’ll be because I said so” around and all the acolytes will bow, curtsy, genuflect -whatever.
You’re correct about that, but there are some actual dead people on the lists too. That applies to ballot petitions as well as to voter rolls.
The Deceased-American Community Signs Up for Recall of Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker
Just yesterday, I had to present a photo ID twice. Once when buying clothing with my Kohl’s credit card and once when buying a cold medication with pseudoephedrine.
My state is one that requires photo ID, and they issue a non-driver ID card for people who don’t drive, like my mother. There really is no problem in showing an ID and it’s not racist. The poll-water at my poll is a Black man and he is thoroughly professional and non-partisan about checking ID.
“There is no other logical reason to oppose needing photo ID for voting.”
Either that or Democrats believe minorities are too stupid to identify themselves.
The issue isn’t just Black people, however. They’re worried about people who are too poor to afford the $20 or whatever it costs to get a non-driver ID. Homeless people with no address to put on the application. Mentally challenged or mentally ill people for whom the process is too difficult or intimidating. Illegal aliens who have lived here for years but who don’t want to get deported.Basically, anyone who, for whatever, reason, would have trouble getting an ID.
The Progressive Democrat reflexively thinks about the fringe – the minority, the underdog, the outlier, the forgotten few – before he thinks about the mainstream. He protects them from “the tyranny of the majority.” This is admirable and, in a democracy, a vital function. However, it does mean that when Progressive Democrats are in charge, you have something like a “ptochocracy” – government of the poor, by the poor, and for the poor. Well, not “of the poor” since most Progressive Democrats are pretty well-heeled.
It think it’s a matter of balance. Reasonable people, when considering a law, would ask “Does the potential harm to the ‘most vulnerable’ outweigh the potential benefit to the majority?’ Most of us would come up with a range of opinions. For the Prog Dem, however, the answer is always “Yes.”
Bugs, bullcrap.
Most ‘homeless’ people don’t have a television or even a radio and don’t even know or care about elections. They are usually more interested in panhandling for booze/and/or/drugs.
Illegal Aliens worried about getting deported? Puhlease! Damn straight ‘they’ should not get a vote and they SHOULD be worried about getting deported. I don’t give a flying fig how LONG they have been here ILLEGALLY.
Mentally ill and mentally challenged people? WTF? That’s everyone who votes Democrat!
lulz
a great big AMEN to that Delia,
Under this administration and it’s Dept. of “justice”, zombies and all other forms of the walking dead have rights, too!!!
That’s why in Georgia the state will provide a picture ID for anyone free of charge. It was part of the deal to get the voter ID law passed. Because, to your point, if you have to pay $20 to get a license, requiring photo ID for voting COULD have been ruled a poll tax by the courts. Since the state will provide one free of charge, the courts allowed the law to stand. Given Georgia’s history of racial discrimination, they had to be extra careful in passing the law. So, if we can do it, it can be done.
How could one of those “homeless” people even register to vote AT ALL without an address? Just nonsense.
Not even a good try, Bugs.
1. Photo IDs are free.
2. Homeless people can put down the address of a John 3:16 mission or some such place.
3. Mentally challenged people usually aren’t eligible to register and vote.
4. Mentally ill people who have been adjudged insane in a court of competent jurisdiction are usually not allowed to vote.
5. Illegal aliens seldom have a right to vote even in local elections. (See “New Haven’s mayor wants illegal immigrants to be able vote in municipal elections.”)
The Arkansas Constitution was recently changed to eliminate this wording: “No idiot or insane person shall be entitled to the privileges of an elector.” I thought that was a boneheaded move until I found out that such persons would still be legally unable to complete the registration process.
That’s “The Exception Makes the Rule” argument. In plain English, a person finds a supporting case to his argument, no matter how trivial. Then they present that case as typical or common to the argument. Related to the Straw Man argument.
A classic example is when abortion rights advocates claim that any restrictions would devastate victims of rape or incest, who make up less than 2% of all abortions. It’s clear that this is a smokescreen argument, but the implication is that there are large number of abortions are performed for those reasons. The hidden agenda is lumping abortions for convenience, with the abortions that result from criminal assault, to keep abortion readily accessible. In the voter ID case, the hardship argument is a smokescreen to continue vote fraud, as the author proposes.
In regards to Bug post, the people he/she listed are not likely to show up to vote, are mentally ill, or are prohibited from voting anyway. Methinks Bugs’ arguments are so transparently laughable, that he/she is punking us. Sadly, those arguments are pretty close to the ones expressed by the DNC, which makes a rebuttal appropriate.
I’d like to see a poll taken on how many of the people who are so vehement about taxpayer funded abortions and pro-choice are equally vehemently against the ‘death penalty’ and mass murders (what else would you call the deaths of over 4 million souls who couldn’t speak to save their lives, because they weren’t ‘convenient’ to people who don’t know there are consequences for their actions, it’s a matter of choice and being responsible for those choices).
If democrats are that concerned, they could offer to pay the fee for a picture ID for any voter. . .exceot that would still defeat their intentions to cheat.
Of course Eric Holder and the Department of Justice are against photo I.D.’s for voting. How else could all those dead people vote for Democrats in Chicago or New York City? Face it, without “help” from organizations like ACORN, the Democrats would probably lose most elections. That’s why the voting process is so messed up today. In fact, it has gotten so bad that a Republican probably has to win by at least 4% to actually win an election. Anything less than that will either be contested by the Democrats (sore losers doesn’t even begin to describe them) or could be overturned by Democratic voter fraud. Funny how voter fraud, like ACORN, always supports Democrats, never Republicans. Why is that?
How big of sore losers are Democrats? They’re still pissed over losing the Civil War.
I’ve long said the same – I call it the “margin of fraud”.
…. ….. D i s c r i m i n a t i o n ! ! ! !
Voter ID disenfranchises honest residents of local cemeteries.
And, the authorities refuse to issue picture ID’s to Donald Duck, Alfred E. Neuman, and other prominent Americans.
Further, Photo ID’s make the job of fraudulently voting for ‘no shows’ rather difficult. Now, all you need to do is show up the last hour at the voting poll, and give them a name that hasn’t been crossed off the eligible voter list as having already voted. ACORN (or whatever they call themselves now) pays $20 — and these are American Jobs that cannot be outsourced (but are available to illegal aliens).
.
LMAO!
This kind of stuff is all about furthering the on-going radical wing of the Democratic Party’s slow-motion coup against the country. Occasionally, some of their machinations slurp out in plain view, but most of the time it stays rather low-key.
Less radical dems are going to great lengths to dissuade independents from voting a straight party ticket against them. Still, even they have some piece of their political hides invested in the Bamster and would like for him to be reelected. But this is obviously Plan B for this group.
I worked the polls in 2010 in a solid Dem district of southern Arizona . Over half the voters who showed up weren’t on the rolls. Several couldn’t speak English and had to have someone “assist” them to vote, With all that Raul Grijalva, the drunken stupid open borders Dem won by a handful of votes. When Holder says “voter fraud is no big deal” he’s referring to the amoral Dems view of using it as a strategy. Whatever it takes to get to Si Si puede.
They should just pass the doggone law. It’ll be good PR and the Democrats won’t enforce it anyway.
When the left-fascists opposed the Indiana voter ID law, they produced a person they considered the absolute perfect argument. She was being disenfranchised, they screeched!
In testimony, however, it was revealed that she lived part of the year in another state, and was registered AND VOTED in both.
Bluntly, their “perfect argument” against voter ID was a perfect argument FOR it.
I’m all for voter ID laws. I can’t even use my credit card at Wal Mart w/o having to show ID.
On another note, if the Iraqis can avoid double-dip voting by the incredibly low tech method of sticking their finger in a dye that lasts a couple of weeks, why can’t we do something similar?
We could however the democrats would oppose it for probably at least a thousand different reasons including that such a dye might be carcinogenic and must include a two year study followed by another to make sure that it is correct and then when you come up with two different conclusions then they will state it is impossible to know if it could cause cancer or not so they oppose it for that alone!
No kidding. I’m a cashier and check IDs for credit card purchases constantly. The only people who don’t have a picture ID are scammers. Everybody old enough to vote (or to use a credit card) who is not a scammer has a driver’s license, a state ID, a military ID, or even a passport, and I can accept any of those.
Those who believe voter id requirements have any appreciable affect on voter fraud have fallen for the smoke and mirrors that voter id laws actually are.
Take a look at the table Details of Voter Identification Requirements from http://www.ncsl.org/default.aspx?tabid=16602 – The National Association of State Legislatures. If you happen to live in a state that actually requires identification, it should not take more than a few seconds to see how easily any person, legal or not, could easily procure the identification required to register and vote.
I live in Florida, a state filled with illegals and a state well known for it’s voter fraud and other ballot issues. Florida, as do other states, allows a person to use a student ID for voting purposes. Florida nor any other state, has a single law that prevents illegal aliens, felons or other persons in the US, ineligible to vote, from entering their institutions. In fact, we assist them to do this by providing in-state tuition for illegals and numerous grants/assistance for felons and others. Since colleges, universities and even trade schools have no requirements to determine the voter status of their students, any person can simply sign up for a class and without even paying, walk out of the school with the necessary identification that allows them to register and ultimately vote.
I am not against requiring identification in order to vote. In fact, I believe the requirement is one of the few ways criminals can be prevented from assuring their person is voted into a position, regardless of the intent of the American people. However, current ID requirements are so pathetic, any person with half a brain can easily acquire the necessary identification to register and vote, even numerous times.
The DNC’s temper tantrum over attempts to force voter ID laws is nothing more than a way to buy time and assure ID requirements are so lax few if any criminals will be prevented from voting.
The GOP isn’t helping matters either. By pushing for in many instances, in-state tuition (Perry – hello?) or supporting legislation that allows for numerous types of ID for voting, the are assuring the Dems will have an easy time assuring their people win.
Having travelled around the world, in most countiries that I have seen voting and ID requirements much more stringent than our own. In Mexico, for instance, it is easier to get a passport than a voter ID card, and only a current Voter ID card is accepted to vote. It is basically a national ID card. Turkey also has stringent ID card requirements – with enough red tape to gag a goat.
People in poor countries have to fork over money to pay their ID card fees, so please, if an American doesn’t have the wherewithal to get a hold of $20.00 or so to process an ID application, perhaps they shouldn’t vote.
Well, couple points, first, I do NOT believe that the lack of 20 bucks should keep you out of the polls. For better or worse, any poll taxes or property requirements were abolished long ago. Second, we (at least we knuckle-draggin’, bitter God n Gun Clingers) have long rejected the idea of any sort of national ID card. I think too, we’re failing to distinguish between voter registration and voter identification. I think registration should carry some burden of proving your citizenship -rather than ticking a box on you Motor Vehicle form, as we have here in the Massachusetts SSR- once you are on the rolls, yes, something to prove you are that person.
If 20 bucks keeps you out of the polls, which are not a surprise exam, then you’re too dumb to vote.
That’s why there is a free or low-cost (in WI, it’s $1–less than the tax on a package of cigarettes) photo ID offered by states which require ID to vote. . All you have to do is get your lazy ass over to the DMV to have your picture taken.
The last time I went to the local Social Security office (for a replacement card) the waiting area was full of poor people, old people, non-white people, and disabled people–all those people I’m told are “unable” to visit a government office. I’m supposed to believe those people who could get out to the SSA to “get their benefits” are incapable of getting out to the DMV office six blocks away on the same bus route? Really?
This should be an easy problem to solve, I think. Let’s register our own dead people and get them to vote and video the whole thing. Engage in some Breitbart-style journalism of our own.
Of course the left wants voter fraud. No matter what they “say” I can read the writing on the wall by their ACTIONS. The left is (more) obviously consumed by socialist ideals. Any one can determine that by a simple comparison of the two philosophies.
On the opposite side of the same coin, the GOP is much less obvious in their ACTIONS toward the same destination. Denial only gets us there faster. And in this case, denial, ain’t a river in Egypt.
“…I was told by one very competent and polite African-American lady that “photo ID” is necessary because, even with all of the other records, the providers have to protect themselves against “fraud.” …”
They are also protecting themselves against liability – not only the legal kind, but also the moral liability for acting without due diligence in matters with potentially disastrous consequences, a phrase that well describes a corrupted voting process.
“Plain and Simple: DNC Wants Voter Fraud”
Needs.
I may regret this, but I must say all of you have the wrong take on this issue. Our Constitution, as interpreted by our highest-ranking law enforcement officer, the AG, tells is that inconveniencing certain people is a criminal activity. Therefore, the AG must prosecute government officials, federal, state and local, for the crime of inconveniencing certain people. Some silly and unreasonable state laws tend to interfere with this process.
Clearly, we need a new government agency at every level to take the polls to certain people, instead of certain people going, under arduous conditions, to the polls. This is not an ID issue. It is an inconvenience to certain people issue that can only be rectified by the elimination of voting inconvenience…for certain people. For God’s sake this is the USA, wise up, people.
(Snark bell, ding ding)
Ahem:”…tells us…”
Pretty ironic, this proven liar and dissembler, Eric Holder, giving some self-righteous speech in Texas yesterday announcing broad opposition to voter ID requirements, while…
His own and Barack’s favorite SPECIAL INTERESTS crowd, unions, universally require ID for internal voting
Tacky, if not blatantly fraudulent…
Barry is soliciting your cash and the name and email address of any Republican who may have inspired you to give Barry your cash
Use the “bounce” option.
I’ve long suggested an analysis of the addresses given by voters. Sure, the dems vote the dead, but, home address might be a good starting point to see how extensively.
My bet is that most dishonesty involves the elderly. If I were to try to stuff a ballot box, I’d collect the identities, e.g., name and address, of those living in nursing homes and then, show up at the election point, claiming to be the lady in room 401. Similarly, fake voters could be pulled from the obit listings, those in jails and fake motor voter registrations.
Remember the stories from Philadelphia were the number actually voting in some precincts was greater that the number of residents by 25-30%.
We have better resources today. We’ve got Google listings and street views to help determine if 12 people actually live on the vacant lot whose address they listed when they registered at the liquor store. We also have marketing companies who know the name and address of everyone in the precinct.
And if there are millions of street addresses to check, and there is a time limit (see Wisconsin recall), how is this going to be done?
Most modern laptops or desktops or even a net book are capable of doing such in a matter of less than a minute!
Vote fraud should be punished in the harshest way possible because it strikes at the very core of what being a free citizen means. If you don’t care passionately about this issue then you are nothing more than a sheep and don’t deserve freedom.
Just one of the readsns that I am a legally armed citizen!
This is just one in a long series of democrat efforts to boost their electorate. Each election cycle they come up with another group of voters who invariably will vote in great numbers for democrats. This has been going on since the beginning of the 20th century. This has uniquely corresponded to the infiltration of communism in our country. Communists know that if government dependency can be increased, so can the power of the communist party increase. Democrats just want to win the next election, but communists want to make the whole world over into their hopelessly impossible ideal of utopia. At this point, they have completely co-opted the democrat party. Guess again if you believe that the communists were squashed forever with the collapse of the soviet empire. They are alive and they still control our largest labor unions. And democrats continue to follow them toward the political and economic cliff.
Why should the residents of DC vote for president? Why should the vote be given to the 18-20 year old population? Why should illegals, felons, and mentally ill be allowed to vote even while they are denied the right to have firearms for the obvious reasons? Why are 47% of the population who pay no income tax at either the federal or state level and almost no property tax allowed to vote? I say it has all been an effort to increase the democrat voting base. When will it stop? Never(at least until the communists take total control and don’t need the democrats to push their agenda anymore). We can’t even seem to make the simple argument for at least being able to identify voters as citizens of our country. We are even reduced to trying to argue this after we have given up on everything else the democrats have done to corrupt our system of government.
Excuse me while you answer your door for the census bureau to collect extremely vital statistical information about you while the immigration and naturalization service work diligently to avoid collecting any information on illegal aliens in 2012.
I want my passport for free, because it is an inconvenience to pay the fee for this, and I can’t leave the country and get back without one.
I want my driver’s license for free.
I want, I want, I want, which is the cry of the liberals.
Bet all those people that are so put out have internet service, cell phones, cars and other conveniences that those people voting in Iraq don’t have, and didn’t need to risk their lives to vote, and proudly held up a purple finger indicating that they did vote.
Do the same that they do in Iraq, minimally, and can we stop with a person that ignores voter intimidation as the spokesperson for this insanity.
What the DNC objects to is restricting voting to those eligible to vote. But you knew that already, didn’t you?
2 brief points: My state, the Empire State has no such laws. The denizens of NYC keep electing the same corrupt, ignorant machine Democrats voluntarily, and in droves! I remember being told once when I went to a party that I must be a Republican by some 4 foot tall immigrant who noticed I was a White male. I told her, “Now way! How could I possibly vote for a Republican when I see how well the Democrats are taking care of the Bronx?” And that shut that down, considering the part of the Bronx the party was being held in was at that time, about 12 years ago, covered with dead pit bulls and crack vials, and had no real police protection.
The second point is, if someone you really dislike asks you for ID, show ‘em a pistol permit, or better yet, fan out all your concealed carry permits in front of ‘em. Some places who ask for ID can suck me. For real, unless I get to look at your ID, you can’t look at mine. I make that clear. If we’re all going to be making sure we are who we say we are, it’s a two way street.
And of course the Dems are pro fraud. They have to be! Most of their constituents won’t get out of the can and vote without being offered food and a ride. I know this first hand. I have watched it. The sad thing is plenty of Conservatives won’t vote either unless they have the perfect candidate.
Since Democrats have no problem with laws that require citizens to produce ID before buying a gun or ammo, which is a right protected by the 2nd amendment, the Democrats should have no problem requiring photo ID before voting but liberals arent exactly known for their moral or logical consistency.
Actually you must provide an ID to even buy a knife at a Walmart (I did) but I buy pistol ammunition there all the time and am not asked for ID but that is because I am there almost daily and know almost all those that work in sporting goods, you must be 21 to buy pistol ammunition in Tennessee and also to have a handgun carry permit you must be 21 years old!
Oh Yeah they they require a photo ID and then I show a Carry Permit!
In Wisconsin, Adolph Hitler, Stalin, Madame X (no lie) can sign the petition to recall Scott Walker as long as they do it in “person” and give a valid residential address (no lie). In Indiana, those collecting signatures for candidates wishing to get on the ballot do not have to verify those signatures. How did these rules get into place? We’ve been asleep while those who wish to rule over us go about their business. Enough.
Times I have been asked for photo ID.
To purchase tobacco
To purchase alcohol
To enter an establishment that serves alcohol
To Take a drug test
To accept a job offer (for which I had to take the drug test)
To board a plane
To see a Physician
To check into a hotel
To establish my competence to operate a vehicle
And in my estimation, none of these activities is nearly as important as the right of a free person to decide the Representatives and leaders of government that they will put in place in my name. As a sovereign of a republic.
So, yeah, I can see no reason why it is any burden whatsoever to provide identification to vote.
Here’s something to throw at a Democrat the next time the topic of voter ID comes up.
“If you’re so worried that by requiring some form of ID (which anyone can get for free), you would POTENTIALLY inconvenience someone and thus POTENTIALLY deny their right to vote, why aren’t you at all concerned about rampant voter fraud which DEFINITELY cancels out MY legal and rightful vote? Every fraudulent vote makes my right to vote nullified. Every “undocumented immigrant” casting a vote is a slap in the face to my citizen’s rights. How come you don’t care about that?”
…and watch their face as they try to come up with a counter-argument.
As George Carlin used to say, “…and that’ll hold ‘em for about 5 minutes”.
In this election, it will be critical for as many people as possible to participate in “True The Vote” and similar efforts. If there are plenty of us, and we have videocameras, they can’t get away with this crap.
Even Black Panthers with their paramilitary costumes and nightsticks will turn tail and run when 100 Republicans show up for every 1 of them.
Turnout, turnout, turnout. There’s no such thing as sitting this one out, thinking your vote doesn’t count, and not staying to keep watch after casting your ballot to make sure there are no shenanigans. It’s a day out of your life, which can change the course of your life.
The Democrats will do ANYTHING to win in 2012, including cheating, lying and being fraudulent. Let me give you another one of their deceptive schemes.
In Clark County, Nevada (Las Vegas), the Filipino-American population has grown over 100% since 2005. Filipino-Americans have moved to Clark County from California, Hawaii, the east coast and from abroad. Nevada will be a huge battle state, and Southern Nevada, in particular, has been a bastion of liberalism for years and heavily Democratic-controlled; and, needless to say, the DNC wants it to remain that way. To attract the Filipino-American vote, Clark County will be issuing their election ballots in the Philippines’ national language called Tagalog. The problem with that is that Filipinos — old and young, from the US and abroad — all speak English. After all, America occupied the Philippines for over 100 years until 1945, and the Philippines has remained the largest English-speaking country in all of Asia, which is why large western companies have opened thousands of Call Centers there. Thus, not only is this Tagalog-language ballot exercise an absolutely unnecessary waste of taxpayer money, the local Democrat machine is using it to brown-nose and gain the allegiance of this huge voting bloc. They’ve already succeeded in creating the Tagalog ballots in counties in California, Hawaii and Alaska.
The DNC organization on the ground is amazing, and the GOP needs to be better at conveying their message to minority groups lest we lose them again to Obama in 2012. I say this with authority as both an Asian and a female conservative. The GOP needs to let ALL ethnic groups in the US know that we are about helping all communities prosper & that we support equal opportunity for everyone, not because we’re after their votes, but because we truly do live by values and principles of fair play.

I’m surprised that ACORN and all its affiliates didn’t use all the taxpayer money they defrauded us out of to provide photo ID’s to the “disenfranchised” voters.
I guess it could be difficult to get pictures of dead people.
That is simple just take a picture of their burial plot (their residence in perpetuity) and their name is clear on the stone or bronze headstone where they now reside!
It’s all about voter FRAUD suppression – nothing to do with voter suppression.
What makes it really pathetic, is that they HAVE to find fake voters, to replace the would-be voters they aborted. The Roe Effect at work.
Mostly just white middle class females are having abortions. Pro-death lefties won’t take any chances with that demographic.
What about pants?!?! Pants cost money and they make me wear them whenever I go to vote! That’s pantsists!
That is funny right there!
Voter fraud. Sadly, it’s been winked at here in the USA for too long. Those who commit election fraud steal our right to a government of our choice. This is theft of our our right to a government that represents us, that functions with the “consent of the governed”.
Election fraud is a serious crime; those who commit it and are found guilty should face long prison sentences at hard labor, not the typical slap on the wrist few months in a “coutry club” lock up that politically corrupt usually get.
As for photo ID’s, they can faked, but would do much to move towards honest elections. Photo ID’s are being checked more and more; my doctor’s office checked mine yesterday even though I’ve been a patient for over four years at the same office.
Same standard for everyone; no photo ID, no vote!
OK so it’s none of my business:
But if one party thinks that fraud is not a problem- just get enough “people” to vote the other way, and they’ll change their minds!
For heaven’s sake. Mickey Mouse, Superman, Wonder Woman, Dick Tracy, Professor X, and Spider-Man are all registered Democrats in good standing. In several states. As are almost all of America’s most beloved cartoon characters and Super Heroes.
Now, ain’t you ashamed for even THINKING about voting Republican?
What sort of Congress and President would we have if:
WE limited the franchise to:
1. Males only.
2.Over 35 years.
3.Property owners.
4. No criminal record.
5.College graduates.
6. Self supporting taxpayers.
7. Able to pass a written test on the issues and candidates.
Does it make any sense at all to allow the intellectual and moral bottomfeeders select our legislators?
Do we realize what bottomfeeders feed upon?
How can Holder help them steal elections and promote fraud if they have to follow the law and have voters ID’s match? This is Chicago-style, after all. The fix is supposed to be in!!!! Like the old East Texas in the Ferguson days when they published ballots to be used by :”VOTERS FROM OTHER STATES on how they stole that elections and Landslide Lyndon in ’48..
Well, when Obama’s campaign sends out email asking if people want to donate in moemeory of a deceased friend and to naem and give address of that friend, one has to wonder. The RNC should seek to put an immediate halt to this.
True, True, True, Now what makes you think the New Computer Voting Machines with no paper trail don’t come predetermined? We The People are truly becoming more and more Stupid by the day. Seems we just don’t care about truth! We all know the man sleeping in our White House is ineligible to hold that office, but did We The People actually elect him? Does anybody really care? A chain is only as strong as it’s weakest link!
Wow, you’ve got some easy, basic facts wrong there, partner.
“Instead, I found that the fuss is all about state laws that would require voters to present photo identification in order to confirm their identities at the polls. Just as I had to confirm my identity at various medical offices. Just as we all must when boarding a plane or checking in to a hotel.”
1. Photo ID is not required to fly. If you don’t have it, you can go through additional screening instead.
2. I stay at hotels all the time, and I can’t remember the last time one asked for (much less required) a photo ID.
When I reciently went to the store to purchase a nicotine patch I was told I had to provide a picture ID. If I needed an ID for them to believe I wa over 18 (I’m 58)I don’t see why someone can’t be asked to varify they are who htey say they are. It’s too bad the DOJ and Obama don’t theink they can win without such challanges to common sense. I suggest you vote first thing in the morning as someone else may be voting for you during the day.I suspect there will be a lot ofDIM cheating and dead people voting for Obama in 2012 if we don’t do something to protect the vote.
