Nice sign-off, Bill. Very touching.
At, 6 p.m. Central Time where I am, it is beginning to look like we may be about to see the light at the end of the tunnel. The real work of rebuilding this country, decades of it, still remains to be done.
Bill Whittle said, “…underground river, the movement of a sleeping giant, a flow of patient, quiet determination that every century or so rocks the foundations of this country to the core.”
I agree totally. I believe this election is going to prove to be the biggest landslide since Reagan’s 49 state tsunami. GO ROMNEY/RYAN!!!
At this point in the evening it’s clear Obama will win. Two huge forces have put him over the top: the mainstream media and the Republican religious-social agenda. Had we stuck to fiscal matters, foreign affairs, and limited government we would have won.
What Ken C. said…times 100.
I was attracted to the Tea Party for the reason Ken states…fiscal matters, foreign affairs, and limited government. Initially at least.
We lost for a reason, and that reason is sticking our noses into people’s bedrooms. Gay marriage? Who gives a crap? Was it worth losing an election – and the country – over?
Every lib I talk to hates our evangelical social agenda. It’s all their little minds can be troubled with.
