Lionel Chetwynd and Roger L. Simon discuss morality in television, in addition to The Dictator, the latest film from Sacha Baron Cohen. Does The Dictator advance the Obama talking points, or is it a subtle jab at liberal culture? Find out. And Matt Atchity of Rottentomatoes.com brings you previews of Men In Black III, Moonrise Kingdom, and the Chernobyl Diaries on this Poliwood.

Apart from Stone & Parker of South Park, Cohen is the only Infidel who’s ever made fun of the Holy Islam. Trey & Matt were shut down from needling Moslems by Comedy Central management, who basically explained that it was too dangerous to mock Moslems, even in a show that has Jesus for a comedic character.
The difference between South Park and The Dictator and Borat is the two business situations differ as far as creator control between movies and TV series. I think what Comedy Channel managers were able to sell Trey & Matt on giving the Moslems special treatment, even as the Ummah dominates the world scene with all their threats and violence nowadays, as the suits explained and convinced them that raising their families under security protection would be a drag.
It’s just easier to defer to Moslems, why take on the one man battle blah blah blaaah.
On the other hand, it looks like Sacha doesn’t reely gives a sheet about how the Moslems feel.
If their paycheck isn’t signed by DoD they’re all civilians.
I saw this movie and it is the most obscene, unfunny collection of BS I have ever found in a movie. I am no prude – 21 years in the Army and 37 years all told in law enforcement – but this is too vulgar to ignore. Leave it alone; it’s not worth seeing or talking about.
its a lefts opinion on right wing people and how thoes right wing people view the left. its like that other movie parodying mikey moore. they are trying to poke fun at us conservatives. honestly i think they ried to offend us, but it wasnt offensive and really stupid movie. all the funny stuff was in the commercials and thats it. no matter what political agenda if any they were trying to do, in the end the movie sucked balls, elephant and donkey
