My question is, I see a lot of Global Warming hysteria on channels like National Geographic etc and on cable tv. Is it not unreasonable to think that the folks who fund these productions are looking at a shelf life of long duration for the product that they are generating and expect some remunerative return sometime in the future?

For instance, how many times does one have to endure the Normandy D-Day landing or the Flag Raising on Iowa Jima to be replayed before it gets old? (Disclaimer, I am a Viet Nam Vet, Lt of Marines) Iconic yes, timeless yes, replay value yes.

But if these folks (global warming morons) are producing junk and in the near future the topic is found to be a matter of little importance and therefore the product has no replay (commercial )value, are they not doing their shareholders/investors a grave disservice?

    Respectfully submitted
