PJTV: Poll Shows Voters More Likely to Support Candidate with Tea Party Backing
Now in its fourth week, the PJTV/Pulse Opinion Research Tea Party Tracking Poll for the first time shows that a majority of Likely Voters (52%) say they are more likely to vote for a candidate for Congress who has the support of the Tea Party movement. There has been an upward trend on this in the past weeks, rising from 47% to 52%. We will continue to track this to see if the trend continues.
In this week’s first topical question, interviewees were asked, “How concerned are you that, for current American workers, the American Dream could be destroyed by the US Federal Debt and US Federal spending?” The results were telling, with 79% of Likely Voters saying they are somewhat or very concerned, including 62% saying they are “Very Concerned.” This crosses party lines. Ninety-five percent of Republicans are somewhat or very concerned. The comparable number for Democrats is a clear majority, 57%, with 34% saying they are “Very Concerned.” And among independents, who are key swing voters in elections, the comparable figure is an overwhelming majority, 83%, with 62% “Very Concerned.”
The second topical question this week was similar, but with regard to students: “How concerned are you that, for current college and high school students, the American Dream could be destroyed by the US Federal Debt and US Federal spending?” The results were almost identical, with 58% of Likely Voters being “Very Concerned.” Again, the concern crosses party lines: 91% of Republicans, 54% of Democrats, and 79% of independents state that they are somewhat or very concerned about this.

History and the Evolution of Conservatives and Liberals
(Received as an email and slightly modified)
For those that don’t know anything about history, the following is a condensed version: Humans originally existed as members of small bands of nomadic hunters/gatherers. They lived on deer in the mountains during the summer and would go to the coast and live on fish and lobster in the winter.
The two most important events in all of history were the invention of beer and the invention of the wheel. The wheel was invented to get man to the beer. These were the foundations of modern civilization and together were the catalyst for the splitting of humanity into two distinct subgroups, liberals and conservatives. Once beer was discovered, it required grain and that was the beginning of agriculture. Neither the glass bottle nor aluminum can were invented yet so while early humans were sitting around waiting for them to be invented, they just stayed close to the brewery. That’s how villages were formed.
Some men spent their days tracking and killing animals to BBQ at night while they were drinking beer. This was the beginning of what is known as the Conservative Movement.
Other men who were weaker and less skilled at hunting learned to live off the conservatives by showing up for the nightly BBQ’s and doing the sewing, fetching, and hair dressing. This was the beginning of the Liberal Movement.
Some of these liberal men eventually evolved into women. They became known as girlie-men. Some noteworthy liberal achievements include the domestication of cats, the invention of group therapy, group hugs, and the concept of democratic voting to decide how to divide the meat and beer that conservatives provided.
Over the years . . .

I get it. This is German propaganda, promoting beer, butter, beef, and broads. No, the real conservatives were the Romans who liked wine, olive oil, wild pork, and broads.
OH HELL, I LIKE BOTH OF THEM!!! I THINK I’LL ADOPT THEM, INTEGRATE AND USE AS MY FAMILY LEGEND.
The cold hard facts, as I see them, are thus….
Teabaggers and their ilk hate themselves and those like them. They seek to control a chaotic, uncontrollable existence, they fear a death they don’t understand, their respective families are a cauldron of outwardly directed inner miseries, love, an illusion that some covet, some fear, others avoid with great passion. The engine of their existence is fueled by their illusion that anything matters. So why does it all seem to make some sense to them? Therein lays the capacity of their intellect to create a reality independent of us. But ultimately, it’s a lonely road they follow.
The road has been in a sorry state of disrepair for quite some time. The bridge they crossed, built by diabolical forces out to fleece them or worse (Beck, Faux, WSJ, etc..) eventually leads to what appears as a sun blasted lifeless desolate tract out in the middle of nothing (Ask yourselves: Are you sure this is the way?). At the very least it would take quite a bit of effort to get back to where they were, but many of them won’t admit that where they were is a sizable hobo camp inhabiting its forlorn and forgotten shell. The Caltrans worker (insert your own metaphor here) they passed days ago warned them that the road ahead is in a dreadful condition as well, or at least that’s what they thought he said, as it was filtered through a formidable chunk of a puffy sickly sweet jelly doughnut confection crammed down his gibbering maw with suicidal abandon, unaware of the lurking type II diabetes about to cap his ass. The moral of this sad story? Try not to worry about the various potholes of life’s deceits, nor the road-kill that’s the price you must pay to play. Ah, but the play’s the thing, wouldn’t you agree?
Gas is a small price to pay for the high fiber diet of a life closely examined. Sometimes the pressure becomes too much to hold back as it attempts to escape in a barrage of intellectual rationalizations or hastily constructed straw men, and they are left with little choice but to try and find a response to the unanswered question, a joyous but cacophonous fanfare from the common miscreant. Everybody by now has been warned or notified of the folly of listening to such authoritative idiots that, say, a station like Faux can scrape out of the intellectual trashcan, but it’s all for naught as they are constantly thrown off kilter with every new geyser-like revelation.
So they plug along, equally puzzled by where they’re going and the eternal battle with the con inside, seeking freedom from all external constraints on their behavior. The fear of being overwhelmed by the reality of our world as it is and not one some scheming shyster foisted as an extra heaping helping of mis-placed guilt, inserting severe limits on their normal exercise of desire, need, and discovery. Afraid to move forward, fearful and preoccupied by a past that only exists in some failed shock jock’s fevered but limited imagination, their uneasy self-hate is a way of generating and then explaining their perpetual sense of being downtrodden and defeated in life. When one gets chopped off at the knees by fate, it’s easy to feel defeated, which I guess is better than be fetid.
Carl, where did you wander in from? As soon as you use the smear “teabagger” people stop reading your little diatribe. Ilk? We’re Americans. The Tea Party is mainstream. You and the ruling class media are the fringe, and you, especially, need a little joy in your life. You won’t find much bashing people here.
Don’t try to convert Carl to the Tea Party side. There’s uh, there’s no way you could persuade him to…
Aw crap, why does he have to be on my team?
I find your ideas intriguing and I’d like to subscribe to your newsletter.

This is like polling people about gravity after they fall off a cliff. The time to discuss Gravity is before placing yourself in its grasp.
Where were peoples concern in 1971 when we decimated our currency system? I was young but remember questioning the sense of removing a hard asset as Gold, and replacing it with petroleum which is controlled by Middle east Oil kingdoms.
Nobody cared as Government let loose the dogs of finance in 1999 when they rescinded glass steagal, or allowed mortgages to be written for over 100% of value, or given to people without a prayer of making their payment.
Our fractional Banking system is a legalized Ponzi scheme, yet nobody stood up to ask why its allowed to flourish.
We still refuse to demand the Federal Reserve open its books and allow American Citizens to audit loans forced upon them.
We added trillions in Debt each year since 2001, but we dared not ask why, because it was not patriotic to request fiscal responsibility from the Government.
We Have this mess because we preferred politics over sensibility, fear over freedom and Liberty. People so afraid of questioning the American way of life they were willing to see it destroyed than request accountability.
Yes, we can blame President Obama, as is popular. But the fact is we placed ourselves in this mess. We refused to perform our duties as citizen and demand responsibility from the people we elected for the last 40+ years.
There is still time to reverse this course, but not with Politics. Sound bites will not solve the problem; hard tough decisions made from fiscal perspectives are the last hope.
The simple truth is that the vast majority of the American people perceive the Democrat party as a threat to every aspect of their well-being.
The people know we are at a pivotal moment – they’ve seen the error of their ways – they’ve woken up. No retread RINOS, no leftist Dems.
