Did the Pirates attack the Chinese? Or the Russians? This cant be referring to former United States of America….that doesnt exist anymore.
As a Seafarer of over twenty years, and a former Maersk Line Limited mariner, let me explain to you folks why the crew had the gumption to retake their ship from the armed pirate gang.
They read their union contracts, and saw that their pay would stop if the ship was “off charter”.
Furthermore, there wouldn’t be any overtime.
And…they’d be restricted to ship when they hit Somalia.
Poor pirate bastards didn’t stand a chance under those conditions.
That all aside, I’m immensely proud of our lads, some of whom I probably have sailed with, who showed that they have b@lls the size of church bells, and I hope that the Captain is released unharmed…because he has to make and sign the payroll.
We’re pullin’ for ya, Cap’n!
I think the Americans retook the ship because the pirates were going to destroy the rum. Now that should infuriate any American.
Arrgg ! Shiver me timbers, now the Messiah will be a havin’ his gang of cut throat Marines and SEALS after the pirates booty and bloody arses for sure.
Bilgeman, can you contact me? Skeating428@aol.com. Cheers! ~S
#5 Ms, Keating:
Nope, sorry.
Through the miracle of stabilized tracking satellite digital communications technology, the company’s “net nanny” is ALSO one of our shipmates.
OK, gotcha. Thanks for posting back. ; )
Ms. Keating:
There may be another way.
Woodbridge or Dale City?
