Tripsy Daily, you are the classic example of a woman being overly harsh on another woman. You should really consider what issues you, yourself, really have to put down Governor Palin. Whatever Palin's abilities, she has sworn to the protection of Israel and she has a much better record of keeping her word than Obama.

Anti-Freedom of Speech Rally or Anti-Ahmadinejad Rally at the U.N.?

I was at Anti-Ahmadinejad rally at the U.N. and I felt I was at Anti-Freedom of Speech rally in Iran. The organizers told me that I couldn’t hold a sign that said, “ Jews against Ahmadinejad and Obama: No U.S. President to meet Genocidal Terrorist or Rogue Regime” (In fact I was on the front cover of the Jewish Press September 26 , 2008 issue with a brown shirt but I was a little blocked out because of people standing in front of me with the sign) . Clearly this violated my first amendment right of free speech. The basic idea of the rally was to protest that this is a free country where every being has right to express himself unlike in Iran where a person is arrested or put to death for speaking against the government. I was shocked to see a orthodox religious man with a beard who probably worked for the JCRC or UJA come over to me and say put down the sign. He called over a police officer and told him that this is nonpartisan rally. The police officer laughed and said he has no right to tell me that and this is a public street and I have the right of freedom of speech. If I was Iran I would have been arrested or put to death. Obviously the organizers were pro appeasement Iran Obama supporters and they think they have the right to silence the opposition like in Iran.

I ask the organizers of the rally , if we only hear one side of the opposition then we are no better then Iranian Islamic government. Shame on the organizers for running a Iranian style rally. Last week’s Jewish Press front cover stated that “ 80% of orthodox Jews support McCain”, this is because of McCain’s strong stance against a Nuclear Iran as opposed to Obama’s appeasement of a Nuclear Iran. I wonder is this they way it was during WWII where orthodox Jews tried to protest to President Roosevelt about the plight of millions of Jews in Europe like the Peter Bergson group but were silenced by the liberal Stephen Wise groups. If we orthodox Jews cannot express our views and opinions at rallies and protests supporting Israel then who is going to help Israel in times of nuclear threats and annihilation.

Thank you and Shana Tova, Happy and Healthy New Year !

As a Jewish woman I am disappointed by you, Sarah Palin, and your obvious ignorance about the Holocaust, your established associations with known anti-Semites, and your willingness exploit sensitivities among Jews and non-Jews to push an agenda of aggression against Iran. I was offended during the VP debate, when you invoked the quote 'NEVER AGAIN' in referring to financial institutions, bankers, and lenders in the U.S. - How dare you hijack the most famous quote related to the Holocaust, these two solemn and revered words that refer to unspeakable atrocities - words that you commandeered and bantered about simply to score political points and to provoke the emotions of American citizens over a problem your boss helped create. How dare you even utter those words when you are on tape being hand-blessed against witch-craft by a preacher who in the same breath demands the removal of Israelites from US financial and political system calling Jews crooks and liars - you admittedly participated in this disgrace, and yet your have the nerve to actively seek the Jewish vote. In the future please refrain from using your "2nd Holocaust" rhetoric. Someone needs to explain to you that Israel is not a luxury concentration camp where the Jews of the world are kept safe by the U.S. If Iran launches a nuclear strike against Israel it is NOT a 2nd holocaust, any strike on Israel, nuclear or otherwise is an act of WAR. Got that? No? Let me explain. Israel is a sovereign nation (20% of its population made up of Arabs - who are equally at risk). Israel is perfectly capable of defending itself against Iran, and when sufficiently threatened will not hesitate take out said nuclear threats - as they did in Syria and Iraq. Not to belabor the point, but Israel doesn't need the U.S. to play ball. Sarah, you are too ignorant for me to believe there is malice behind your Antisemitism. What I do believe is that you lack even the slightest bit of awareness and integrity that might otherwise safeguard against such inappropriate rhetoric. This insensitivity and callousness (that you have proudly displayed with great enthusiasm while stumping for your boss) combined with your overwhelming ignorance makes you unfit to even aspire to a higher office.

It's better for the Jews, because the 'Pubs will support Israel, guaranteed. Devout Christians are generally in the Republican party. They support Israel. I mean, really support Israel. Palin has 3 flags in her Governor's office: U.S.; AK; Israel. You think she won't support Israel? She is totally in the tank for them.

Since I'm part Jewish, I get to be really critical of them. That's why I don't get jumped on. I've met two Israeli jews. I liked them. I've met one American Jew whom I liked. He was planning to emigrate to Israel. I had a Jewish boss and one colleague I liked. Not coincidentally, they were fairly devout. All the others I've met, well, I've not liked them much. They displayed all the traits that are the caricatures of Jewishness.

Wayne: OK, so you want me to base my opinion on one book?
As you say, "One of the always beautiful thing about Jews is that they love to read", my partner reads at every opportunity...only not the same book over and over...
I was hoping for something more solid!

Marc: OK, so as a Republican you aren't going to be a fan of Obama, but again, I'd hoped for something more than "He’s half-white, but 3/8 Arab". The Muslim schools has all been disproved. And what is wrong with someone reading Marx?
As the Louis Farrakhan/Million Man March thing, according to Fox News (hardly Obama fans) he was there to observe and was critical of Farrakhan at the time! Obama is quoted as saying, "What I saw was a powerful demonstration of an impulse and need for African-American men to come together to recognize each other and affirm our rightful place in the society. But what was lacking among march organizers was a positive agenda, a coherent agenda for change. Without this agenda a lot of this energy is going to dissipate. Exhortations are not enough, nor are the notions that we can create a black economy within America that is... sealed from the rest of the economy and seriously tackle the major issues confronting us." Doesn't sound like support for Farrakhan to me! Obama has also openly critised Farrakhan over his anti-Semitism.
I'll ignore your comment, "I’m part Jewish, so I have some affinity for them as a race and culture, although I’ve met very few whom I’ve ever liked." I'm sure that the only reason you didn't get jumped on by other is that you were trashing Obama!

Again I ask why four more years of the Republicans is a better option. Especially if/when McCain doesn’t make it to the end and you end up with President Palin.

Oh my,Nic. I'll try not to abuse you. I'm a Repub. (That's when you are on your 2nd or 3rd pub of the night.) I'm part Jewish, so I have some affinity for them as a race and culture, although I've met very few whom I've ever liked.

That said, as a Jew, you have to be insane to vote for Obama. The name's a clue. Dig a little. He's half-white, but 3/8 Arab. He's only a little bit black. He's an Arab with a perfect disguise as an American black. His childhood was spent in Muslim schools. To integrate into American black culture, he dove into Marxism and the Black Theology cult. His hero growing up was... Louis Farrakhan! Obama was in that "Million-Man March".

Can you not yet see the stormclouds on the horizon, yet? Like a previous poster said, the Jews seem to have lost their ability to recognize their mortal enemies. Any other questions? I got answers.

Nic,

One of the always beautiful thing about Jews is that they love to read.

Follow their example. Go read Freddoso's "The Case against Obama".

Then you will know Obama was nurtured on the milk of Saul Alinsky (who Idolized Satan as the first Radical), a whole bevey of folks who pretty much think we inflicted AIDS on blacks and that 911 was cool, and not to mention a couple who think that having Hezbollah and Hamas rolling dice to see who gets to drop Zyclon B into the NEW AUSCHWITZ gas chambers in Western Jerusalem would a great entertainment venue.

All hyperbole aside, they know that Obama is NOT good for Jews, the Bill of Rights (or "bitter clingers" like me)!!

OK, I know that I'm probably going to regret asking this, but what exactly is it that Jewish Democrats hate so much about Obama? I really don't understand why four more years of the Republicans is a better option. Especially if/when McCain doesn't make it to the end and you end up with President Palin.

I'M ASKING A SERIOUS QUESTION, SO NO ABUSE PLEASE!
