I was at Anti-Ahmadinejad rally at the U.N. and I felt I was at Anti-Freedom of Speech rally in Iran. The organizers told me that I couldn’t hold a sign that said, “ Jews against Ahmadinejad and Obama: No U.S. President to meet Genocidal Terrorist or Rogue Regime” (In fact I was on the front cover of the Jewish Press September 26 , 2008 issue with a brown shirt but I was a little blocked out because of people standing in front of me with the sign) . Clearly this violated my first amendment right of free speech. The basic idea of the rally was to protest that this is a free country where every being has right to express himself unlike in Iran where a person is arrested or put to death for speaking against the government. I was shocked to see a orthodox religious man with a beard who probably worked for the JCRC or UJA come over to me and say put down the sign. He called over a police officer and told him that this is nonpartisan rally. The police officer laughed and said he has no right to tell me that and this is a public street and I have the right of freedom of speech. If I was Iran I would have been arrested or put to death. Obviously the organizers were pro appeasement Iran Obama supporters and they think they have the right to silence the opposition like in Iran.

I ask the organizers of the rally , if we only hear one side of the opposition then we are no better then Iranian Islamic government. Shame on the organizers for running a Iranian style rally. Last week’s Jewish Press front cover stated that “ 80% of orthodox Jews support McCain”, this is because of McCain’s strong stance against a Nuclear Iran as opposed to Obama’s appeasement of a Nuclear Iran. I wonder is this they way it was during WWII where orthodox Jews tried to protest to President Roosevelt about the plight of millions of Jews in Europe like the Peter Bergson group but were silenced by the liberal Stephen Wise groups. If we orthodox Jews cannot express our views and opinions at rallies and protests supporting Israel then who is going to help Israel in times of nuclear threats and annihilation.

Since I’m part Jewish, I get to be really critical of them. That’s why I don’t get jumped on. I’ve met two Israeli jews. I liked them. I’ve met one American Jew whom I liked. He was planning to emigrate to Israel. I had a Jewish boss and one colleague I liked. Not coincidentally, they were fairly devout. All the others I’ve met, well, I’ve not liked them much. They displayed all the traits that are the caricatures of Jewishness.

Marc: OK, so as a Republican you aren’t going to be a fan of Obama, but again, I’d hoped for something more than “He’s half-white, but 3/8 Arab”. The Muslim schools has all been disproved. And what is wrong with someone reading Marx?
As the Louis Farrakhan/Million Man March thing, according to Fox News (hardly Obama fans) he was there to observe and was critical of Farrakhan at the time! Obama is quoted as saying, “What I saw was a powerful demonstration of an impulse and need for African-American men to come together to recognize each other and affirm our rightful place in the society. But what was lacking among march organizers was a positive agenda, a coherent agenda for change. Without this agenda a lot of this energy is going to dissipate. Exhortations are not enough, nor are the notions that we can create a black economy within America that is… sealed from the rest of the economy and seriously tackle the major issues confronting us.” Doesn’t sound like support for Farrakhan to me! Obama has also openly critised Farrakhan over his anti-Semitism.
I’ll ignore your comment, “I’m part Jewish, so I have some affinity for them as a race and culture, although I’ve met very few whom I’ve ever liked.” I’m sure that the only reason you didn’t get jumped on by other is that you were trashing Obama!

Again I ask why four more years of the Republicans is a better option. Especially if/when McCain doesn’t make it to the end and you end up with President Palin.

That said, as a Jew, you have to be insane to vote for Obama. The name’s a clue. Dig a little. He’s half-white, but 3/8 Arab. He’s only a little bit black. He’s an Arab with a perfect disguise as an American black. His childhood was spent in Muslim schools. To integrate into American black culture, he dove into Marxism and the Black Theology cult. His hero growing up was… Louis Farrakhan! Obama was in that “Million-Man March”.

Can you not yet see the stormclouds on the horizon, yet? Like a previous poster said, the Jews seem to have lost their ability to recognize their mortal enemies. Any other questions? I got answers.

All hyperbole aside, they know that Obama is NOT good for Jews, the Bill of Rights (or “bitter clingers” like me)!!
