Big government sci-fi theater is expensive Bill. I don’t think I should have to pay for your infotainment. And we don’t seem to be making money on the moon, are we? The economics are in favor of satellites and not signature first humans on the (fill in the blank) missions. Take a look at how Spacex is making NASA look stupid. Good God, they put a satellite in orbit with a ground crew of under 2 dozen. Think NASA could do that? Kill Ares and let Elon do it. Maybe with an assist from Burt. BTW I have 6 years experience working manned space flight ground systems, so I’m not against the idea, and I have a very clear idea of how NOT to do the mission. They want to de-orbit the space station – talk about a waste. Time to let the capitalists do the job the governments won’t.
