The point of the interviews was to find out why this was happening and make it stop. The interviewer advised the murderers that he was trying to develop a group defense which was far from the truth. The army just wanted this stopped. In the end, all the killers went to Leavenworth or were sadly shot “while trying to escape”. The psychologist administered a 600 question multiple choice verbal test to all the prisoners. He also asked the same questions of many black officers and black pentagon employees. The results were troubling to say the least. No amount of petitioning under the Freedom of Information act will pry the findings out of the dark cellars of the pentagon. I know, I tried! They will tell you that no such study was ever carried out and there are no such findings.
