english_wolf,

you are an idiot if you seriously cannot see that this moron in charge and his cabinet of corrupted reebs are not qualified to run a country (being that most of them are tax evaders anyway, funny right) and are going to run this country to the ground if allowed to. Jimmy Carter was a mellow version of the idiocracy that is in charge of our country now (but I guess thats what happens when you run the election of the president like american idol instead of on merit and capability to perform the job). But hey you entitled to your opinions, which are just that when not backed by facts and history.

I lived through Carter and the gas lines every other day to get my fillup so I would have enough gas to go to work and still have enough gas left so I could line up again and not run out on line.
The jerk was the worst, however Mr. O will be far worse for the country than Carter and the damage will take much longer to repair.

Sebastian

Yeah,

(HE being Obama*; God according to your demands)
HE CREATED the (Iraq)war by lying...
HE CREATED the terrorists groups (can't blame the previous *** for that)
HE CREATED the (Afghanistan) war
HE CREATED the perception that the US is a war mongering nation
HE CREATED the conditions for the economy to implode
HE CREATED the political polarised gridlock in the US
HE CREATED everything!
He is Z God!

Only one trouble: This god is human and has not created anything.

- If you are so good, pray tell how one gets out of a war w/o creating the conditions for a vacuum and anarchy? (Iraq)
- Since you claim to know, pray tell (again) how to draw down from a wrong headed war in Afghanistan when it is a NATO/UN affair, even if 'led by the US'?
- You are so good, I bet you also know how to fix the economy, international diplomacy, the continuous Zionist expansion (cause of many ills in the area as well as the extremist excuse for jihad), the local ethnic wars in Africa (and elsewhere) but most importantly...

PRAY TELL US (yet again) how will you fix human nature that is really the cause of everything?

Backward? No, I am a realist. One cannot stop of a war just like that. Walking out in the current Afghan situation will only create perfect conditions for more killing and would be a great disservice to the troops on the ground - for all countries involved. Also, since we did take out a regime, we (as NATO/UN) have a responsibility to rebuild the country, we (still as NATO/UN) could have skirted that if we had only gone straight against the terrorists and destroyed ONLY what stood between us (as NATO/UN *again*) and the target.

To sell the Afghanistan war the argumentation was tainted by a moral obligation to 'free the Afghanistan population from a religious extremist government', making it a crusade against evil extremist Muslims**. Once again we (as NATO/UN *remember?*) ran interference in another country as we are 'always right' and 'God is with us'. Funny, the other side claims the same thing. We painted Taliban as evil doers and went after them first, letting the only legitimate target get away under spurious reasons. Certainly Obama's doing, according to your reasoning.

---------------

Like many, I think this war was also wrong but for other reasons than Iraq. NATO and allies should never had gone to war with the Taliban and should have pursed the terrorists w/o regard for borders, defeating/killing whomever would have tried to interfere and, once the job done, walk out. Instead we took out Taliban as a 'moral/ethical duty' and entered a war that looks more and more like a war in Vietnam. The jungle is now the mountain; the ideology is religious instead of East/West. Like in Vietnam, a puppet gvt is in position (that was also true in Korea, at first). The major difference is that the Afghanistan war is a NATO war, sanctioned by the UN, just like Korea is (remember no peace treaty has been sign, this only a long lasting cease fire - 2d reminder).

Now the conflict has spilled over to Pakistan which opens another can of worm as Pakistan has nuclear weapons. Pakistan is responsible for that as they did encourage and protected Taliban within their borders. Trouble is, do you have any idea what will happen if an extremist government gets its hands on nuclear weapons? (I hope I am wrong on that one!) You seem to know everything so, pray tell (yeah I did not forget) answer that one. Do you really think that India will stay idle if these weapons get into the wrong hands? (Remember that Pakistan and Bangladesh were originally part of India - India has its own Muslim population and gained their independence after a bloody internal war)

Since you know everything, I am certain that you know of the 'domino effect', right? Well, we (as NATO/UN) made the major error of toppling the first one. Now we have to try to prevent the rest to come down, on us.

It definitively is the time for us to just walk out and watch the shit hit the fan.

Thank HE that you are not HE !!!!

:p

*If I recall the US had 'soldiers for god camps' were kids were made to welcome the **** who was *president* at the time, as if that **** was a prophet (if not the reincarnation of christ). I bet that they bring out HIS (Obama's if I have lost you) effigy and use it for target practice...
** There is a distinct difference between extremists (Muslims/Chistian/Jew or anything else for that matter) and terrorism.

English Wolf, you've got backwards. If you were paying attention, Obama retains all of Bush's policies on Iraq & Afghanistan. However, domestically, Obama has a War Against Capitalism by growing government as a result of Porkulus, his budget, nationalizing 2 American car companies (which are in the red), nationalizing banks, etc al. Obama is making it worse--just like Carter before him.

President Obama is losing his momentum so quickly because he is an empty suit; he's nothing without a rigged audience, planted questions, & his precious teleprompter. Without these things, Obama's so-called eloquence vanishes under the sweat of the spotlight.

President Obama is worse than Carter given Obama is Carter on steroids. A racist demagogue/ideologue will not work with the Republicans in any capacity. To him, they are the enemy--not Bin Laden or Fidel Castro. This is the Left's beating black heart.

Kendig, House Republicans offered 23 different proposals to ObamaCare, but they are ignored by the Socialists & the MSM. The same is true for the Senate.

Funny...

Obama inherits a mess from a previous administration that IS responsible for everything that is going on now, yet he is blamed for it.

I'll like to see all the armchairs critics here take the job, deal with the war in Iraq, the NATO mess in Afghanistan (yes, it is not a US war per say, same as Korea was – and still is a war by the way, as no peace treaty has been signed -).

I would like to see the same armchairs critics move off their butts and set the economy right. Reagan generated the largest federal deficit (at the time). Clinton reduced some of it and the previous administration ran up the federal bill up the kazoo.

I really would enjoy seeing the armchairs critics justify the war in Iraq.

Of course I would also have fits of laughter seeing the armchair critics deal with international politics after the constant dismantling of the US influence done by the same previous administration.

The previous administration had 8 years to destroy everything they could. They nearly achieved it and you want the next guy to come in and by his mere presence make the sky blue, the flower blossoms while butterflies and bees flutter from one to the other... ???

Have you even paid attention to the diminishing individual rights in the US? Do you pay attention to the non sense all over public places? Let's pat PA (yes let's) to see if she does not pack a large gun inside those silicon boobs!!! How about the media that makes the news vs. reporting it?

The US is the victim of the past president, not of this one. He has not been in 'power' for a year yet.

Obama s the recipient of the 'Nobel peace price'? It would be a joke if this was not underlining the relief and hope this man has created, just by being elected. It is the true reflection of what the world at large saw: a war mongering nation headed by an out of control 'yet to be punished criminal'. The Nobel Prize in effect went to all that voted for Obama and stopped the neocon agenda.

IMO the hope generated is an illusion as to fix what has been broken is not going to be easy and will take a long time to first repair then heal. Obama will not be able to achieve all in 4 years or even in 8 years if reelected. The damage is long lasting and may take decades before anything is 'back to normal' (as if normal was good).

I knew we were in trouble when Ashcroft covered the stone tit of the justice… First sign of… religious extremism!!! Then we had the infamous ‘I prayed before giving the order to attack Iraq’ therefore this right is god sanctioned and righteous.

Yeah, I am proud to be a US enlightened Christian with leaders like that. Yes sir, I am! (Morons!)

I think it's a little early to start comparing Obama to Carter. Carter took 4 years to bring 12 years of Republican presidential leadership and eventually Republican control of the legislature. Obama off to a great start, No conservative trust him, he's losing independent voters and the left is trying to move him farther left. But, the Republican need to step up to the plate and offer a viable alternative to Obama and the Democrats. The Republicans need a leader who can articulate what is great about the Republicans. Then, if in 2010, the Democrats are out on the street and Obama's ratings are lower than a supermodels dress size, we can state that Obama is the worst president in the 21st century.

The MSM covered for President Carter as they do for President Obama; the media's bias is more pronounced & not hidden anyore. The MSM still made excuses for Carter's incompetence. You know when a politician is doing something right when the MSM tries to destroy them; they tried to destroy Reagan, but he talked directly to the people. I see similar attributes with Sarah Palin, Michelle Malkin, Ann Coulter, Michelle Bauchman (sp?), etc al.

I was a mere tiny tot when Carter got in (9 years old, couldn't vote...my hands are clean).

I remember the joy of sitting in the back of my old man's station wagon with my little brother, waiting in a gas line for hours. I'm old enough to remember "Nightline" and their daily "America Held Hostage" reports. Tell kids nowadays that you could get 15% on a CD, and it STILL didn't keep up with inflation, and they think you're on crack. Hell, I'm old enough to remember that this country was so beaten down by the end of it all that we got stupidly happy after winning a hockey game in the Olympics over the Soviet Union...that's how defeated we were.

Never thought I'd look back and think "good times, good times!!" At least back then people finally pulled their heads outta their butts and didn't reward him with a second term. (Of course, that was back in the days when kids would sing "That's what Campbell Soups are, mmm, mmm, good!" not "Mmmm, mmm, mmm! Barack Hussein Obama!") Now, after all the dumbing down of public schools, I'm not sure that this generation is gonna get a clue in time.

Geez, I sound like an olde phart.....

I was a mere tiny tot when Carter got in (9 years old, couldn’t vote…my hands are clean).

I remember the joy of sitting in the back of my old man’s station wagon with my little brother, waiting in a gas line for hours. I’m old enough to remember “Nightline” and their daily “America Held Hostage” reports. Tell kids nowadays that you could get 15% on a CD, and it STILL didn’t keep up with inflation, and they think you’re on crack. Hell, I’m old enough to remember that this country was so beaten down by the end of it all that we got stupidly happy after winning a hockey game in the Olympics over the Soviet Union…that’s how defeated we were.

Never thought I’d look back and think “good times, good times!!” At least back then people finally pulled their heads outta their butts and didn’t reward him with a second term. (Of course, that was back in the days when kids would sing “That’s what Campbell Soups are, mmm, mmm, good!” not “Mmmm, mmm, mmm! Barack Hussein Obama!”) Now, after all the dumbing down of public schools, I’m not sure that this generation is gonna get a clue in time.
