Why it will take days to get information that should take minutes? Shouldn’t the answer of Mr. Action Now have been “We quickly found out what we needed to know and we’re holding that information until Fitzgerald gives us the green light to make it Public.”?

It seems if something that takes literally minutes takes them days, tough problems that should take months to parse out and solve will, with Obama’s hand on the tiller, take decades.

“citizen” legislatures-in illinios alone-chicago city council president richard mell=father-in-law of gov rod blago speaker of the illinios house mike madigan=father of attorney general lisa madigan. current chicago mayor richard m daley=son of former chicago mayor richard j daley. jesse jackass jr=son of “rev” jesse the jackass, corrupt power broker in chicago ‘pay to play” for yrs. look at jesse jackass son yousef-owner of the largest budweiser distributorship in chicago in spite of the fact he has no background in the beer biz(hes a lawyer-figures). “pay to play” for yousef jackass? sounds like jesse hounded budweiser into giving his son a large distributorship in return for something else.just these facts alone should point out politics isnt about “citizen” legislatures anymore. its about career and power and how corrupt you can be.

I think what you’re missing here is not that Republicans want that vacant senate seat (because it won’t happen), but the tangy, piquant flavor that only comes from demonstrating, before his inauguration, what kind of executive we will be enjoying for the next 4 years.

The electorate were promised a New Kind of Politics (TM), that overthrew the prevailing Culture of Corruption (TM), led by an Inexperienced, Yet Brilliant Wunderkind.

Some of them believed that junk. Even ones in Illinois for whom this New Kind Of Politics isn’t really new. They were sold a bill of goods, and – Oh Boy – did they get taken.

i guess obama can use the old reagan term…I don’t recall or nixon’s i am not a crook..and where is tom delay and karl rove in all this…..more than likely right behind fitzgerald..republicans are drooling all over themselves over a vacant senate seat
