Just another example of Obama’s belief system on display. I’m sure Mr. Obama thought, after seeing this picture, who are the people going to believe, me or their own lying eyes. As with Gate’s gate Obama reflexively chose the incorrect side. The Black Panthers have little to fear from an Obama administration, in fact the only thing that could make their activities look questionable is if they changed their name to The White Panthers. If that were the case it would be Hates Crimes all around, for those involved. But the Justice Department under Obama’s leadership gives these thugs a walk. It was also reported on FOX that the gentleman with the baton, Jerry Jackson is a Certified Democrat Poll Watcher. This Guy will probably be told not to carry his weapon openly anymore, but to keep it hidden until he actually needs to hit someone. Hail the Black Panthers, hail ACORN, hail Obama and Chicago “politics as usual”. Even though it was in Philadelphia.

The prospect that ‘reverse racism’ might rear its ugly head, is unfortunate. Lets face it, any progress made has been through the education of all, so that equality could be recognized. But if that educational opportunity is wasted by those who seek power & wealth (leftist thugs), by using race as their tool to gain that power, even those they use & abuse (minorities), to gain that power & wealth, will resent that they thought they were represented, but in the end used once again by carpetbagger types.
Meanwhile, those who are victims of attacks (whites & all others who do not subscribe to leftist ideology), will realize the real enemy is socialism, Marxism, & all those other thug-ism political actions interested only in themselves & their crazed ideologies of oppression!
Perhaps we need to try harder to educate & make sure all, including minorities, know that leftism is the real enemy, not the limited government conservative philosophy that would let them aspire at their own ability?
Obama screwed up on Prof. Gates. In the end, the good prof. was tired from a long trip, angry his door was jammed (probably by a previous burglary attempt that messed up the operation of the door), & he let his temper along with his victim identity overwhelm him.
The issue of police oppression is documented. But more than that, is the issue of a cop who must deal with threatening situations all the time. That cop risks his life each time he responds to a possible break-in call & that threat is bigger & significantly more real than any threats the prof. faces.

Most whites are clueless about how much racism there is among African-Americans. That’s why white people were so surprised by Obama’s listening to Wright for 20 years and having such a racist bless his campaign and baptize his lovely children. African-Americans couldn’t figure out what the fuss was about–Wright’s rhetoric is actually pretty ordinary in the African-American community.

There are virtally no whites alive today who had anything significant to do with creating the current problems of African-Americans, nor who had anything to do with the historical oppression of American blacks.

But the rhetoric that accompanies the cancer of affirmative action confers a huge advantage–psychological, economic, and political–on racism that is directed against whites. And so there is a large, now institutionalized interest in devaluing whites (especially white men).

This is nothing new. When it comes to elections, Democrats and leftists have been committing acts of fraud and intimidation for decades (at least). They just feel like they can do it in the open now. To them, election laws are things to be manipulated and worked around to get an edge. They could care less if our elections are free and fair (see Blarty at #24).

What the “teachable moment” turned out to be was a verification that Obama endorses the policies of the Black Liberation Movement. He lived under Jeremiah Wright for 20 years because he believes in what Wright teaches. Gates is also a follower of the BLM and with Obama, they are all peas in the same pod.
