The Instapundit, aka Glenn Reynolds, has been part of PJM since its inception. But we are pleased to announce today that he has donned an extra pair of jammies and stepped fully inside the Pajamas Media portal and servers. The very latest Instapundit posts now appear on our front page — and Instapundit has a new URL: http://pajamasmedia.com/instapundit/. The old address will be redirected automatically.

PJ Media appreciates your comments that abide by the following guidelines:

1. Avoid profanities or foul language unless it is contained in a necessary quote or is relevant to the comment.

2. Stay on topic.

3. Disagree, but avoid ad hominem attacks.

4. Threats are treated seriously and reported to law enforcement.

5. Spam and advertising are not permitted in the comments area.

These guidelines are very general and cannot cover every possible situation. Please don't assume that PJ Media management agrees with or otherwise endorses any particular comment. We reserve the right to filter or delete comments or to deny posting privileges entirely at our discretion. Please note that comments are reviewed by the editorial staff and may not be posted immediately. If you feel your comment was filtered inappropriately, please email us at story@pjmedia.com.

  1. Welcome, Glenn. I liked you stuff on Ron Paul, and I think we’re the same flavor of libertarian.

  2. Why?

Hey change is in the air, just like for Tim Blair now at Sydney’s Daily Telegraph. Good stuff. Shake things up a bit. Not gonna stop reading Glenn. Bouna fortuna with it all.

Instapundit has been the first site I read in the morning for a number of years. I have some other favorites that I check regularly. And then, I check Pajamas Media to get a link to some alternatives. As a “conglomerate”, it gives me a reason to check out some other sites that I might not otherwise get to.

I was disappointed when the blogroll was abbreviated to ten “Network Bloggers”, and I’m saddened to see the main page so dominated by Instapundit — not because there’s anything wrong with Mr. Reynolds, but because of the erosion of diversity.

Instapundit is diversity. The man is not a man; he’s a nano-cyborg in human form! He features just about every possible topic that interests him under the sun, after all.

Besides, quantity does not immediately imply quality.

  6. Professor Reynolds is indeed the great one…and Pajamas Media continues to get better and better.

(now if only you could do something about those t-shirts….)

  7. 7. cthulhu

There *is* something uncanny about the guy’s output. I sometimes picture a secret lair at the University above the bio labs, where a couple of dozen bespectacled Glenn clones in jeans and sportcoats click madly away, occasionally saying “Heh” or “Indeed”.

But I’ve been dipping directly from the well in that regard. By the time I hit Pajamas, I’ve already read today’s Instapundit, and I’m looking for something different. Now, unfortunately, that’s going to be shoved to the periphery of the page because there’s a huge Instafootprint smack dab in the middle.

Love Instapundit, HATE the change here.

Similar to earlier poster, been a Instapundit reader for many many years, my go-to site on phone and PC, excellent in every respect. Simply can’t get by without Glenn’s DJ approach to news.

    However…

Pajamas Media had a truly great Army-of-Davids sort of feel, where no one contributor had the spotlight, and where the focus was on the story not who was posting.

Please accept this as a vote for flipping back to the previous version, or at least minimizing the Instapundit real estate.

In the meantime, thanks for all the excellent work on keeping us informed.

Well, I don’t like the change either. I can go to Glenn any time, and often do, but this is a real subtraction.

  10. 10. pchas

I’m fairly neutral; it matters little to me where Glenn is hosted, but the little elves at Pajamas should really fix the coding errors that causes gobbledygook to appear wherever there is an apostrophe in his column. It looks tacky.

    MD:
I concur. The diversity was appreciated. This is a step back.
