The ammo shortage is bullshit.
How hard is it to step up production of something as simple a bullets?
These ammo companies are just using “Obama” paranoia to increase their profits!
Because of a bunch of stupid rednecks, I have to scourer the earth to find 10mm ammo.
That’s fine, I’ve got plenty of other guns to protect my family when the hillbillies start marauding.
I just gotta remember to avoid wasting bullets shooting at their heads(nothing vitally important resides there)!

Some kind of main event is comming, and it won’t be planned I’ll give you that. And being raised by depresion era parents, I know the value in stocking up on stuff including ammo. Trading ammo as currency is also smart.

In the end I just hope when your country impodes, you folks just sort it out without comming up here. Last thing we need is an invasion.

Up in Canada we have more person to gun ratios than you folks. yet at 30 mil people we only get around 650 murders a year. Alot with knives to boot, and we dont lock our doors (well maybe in the cities)
**News flash** you worry about the Mexicans and Cubans or whoever else, just don’t come running up here OK? We like the peaceful nature of life up here, and we just shoot animals that are 4 legged. Sorry bad times for ya’ll but when you do go back to cival war, keep it down there OK?

Gun ownership is one of the cheapest forms of insurance available. Period. You don’t need to be an expert, and you don’t need to be paranoid. I don’t believe for a second that Obama is a socialist, or that Mexican cartels will stage a major invasion of the US. Most ofn the folks here clearly don’t know squat about what socialism, Marxism, fascism or communism really are – or they’d have called Bush a socialist for bailing out banks with taxpayer money.

Don’t listen to the fringe. Educate yourself with accredited, verifiable information from reliable sources.Hope for the best, but prepare for the worst. Things ARE getting out of hand, but the people you should really worry about are the loudest voices spreading fear, uncertainty and doubt. (f someone doesn’t know the difference between “their”, “they’” and “there” – they probably aren’t a reliable source of information on anything of importance.)

The ri8sks of owning a gun in a household with small children are very real, and the dangers of conspiracy theorists stockpiling guns are well-documented. Be sane, be alert, and be responsible, and you’ll probably survive whatever comes – and if nothing comes of the mass hysteria and total lack of civility and decency apparent on this and other forums, you’ll at least be able to defend yourself against the lunatics parading their “patriotism” by flying a flag while on their way to cash their social security check because they’re afraid the evil banks will tell the government how much money they have.

The world will not end in 2012, the ammo shortage will be made moot by the increased manufacturing capacity which is being built right now, and those who think bullets will replace currency will just sink deeper into their delusion, regardless of the facts. Global warming really IS happening – just as it happened the last time around. (Europe was nearly 7 degrees warmer, wineries lined Vine Street, in England, and we remember that dreadful, suffocating era as The Renaissance.) I know, it’s not nearly as dramatic as Glenn Beck, Al Gore, or Sarah Palin, Rev. Sharpton – but it’s the truth.

My husband and I went to a gunshow last week. The guy who we purchased from told us that the prices were going up because of all the people who freaked out when Obama got elected.
