#MyJihad: CAIR’s New Twitter Campaign to Whitewash Islam
Here’s the smell of the blood still. All the perfumes of Arabia will not sweeten this little hand.
Lady Macbeth could have been describing the cynical new ad campaign sponsored by the Hamas-linked Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), which attempts to make Americans believe that “jihad” is all about taking the kids to school and smiling at surly checkout clerks, rather than flying planes into office buildings and blowing up pizza parlors full of infidels.
Like all Big Lies, it has a grain of truth to it. Jihad in Arabic means “struggle,” and the Arabic word carries as many connotations as does the English one. One may struggle to lose weight or to exercise regularly, and the same word is used for great struggles, such as those against Nazism and Communism. The Islamic Republic of Iran has a Department of Agricultural Jihad, which has nothing to do with blowing up farm implements, but merely concerns itself with the struggle to increase crop yields.
And so Ahmed Rehab of Hamas-linked CAIR asserted to one of a seemingly endless stream of eagerly credulous reporters:
Jihad in Islam simply means the struggle to a better place. Whatever barrier or burdens that you have in your life, you are asked, you are tasked to muster in the inner courage, the inner resolve, the inner determination to overcome those personal barriers, personal issues.
Rehab retailed a half-truth. A manual of Islamic law certified by the highest authority in Sunni Islam, Cairo’s Al-Azhar University, as conforming “to the practice and faith of the orthodox Sunni community” explained: “Jihad means to war against non-Muslims, and is etymologically derived from the word mujahada signifying warfare to establish the religion. And it is the lesser jihad. As for the greater jihad, it is spiritual warfare against the lower self (nafs).” After thus acknowledging the spiritual, “greater jihad,” the manual never mentions it again, but goes on for many paragraphs about the “lesser jihad,” that “war against non-Muslims,” giving rules for the taking of prisoners, the legal status of captive women, the subjugation of the infidels, and more.
This legal manual stipulates that Muslims must make war “upon Jews, Christians, and Zoroastrians…until they become Muslim or pay the non-Muslim poll tax.” It specifies that the warfare against non-Muslims must continue until “the final descent of Jesus.” After that, “nothing but Islam will be accepted from them.”

Robert, you and I both know what Islam embodies, and how Shariah Law is CAIR’s main impetus via stealth jihad.
But here is a necessary primer for those less involved in the world of Islam, as its boot swathes from one end of the globe to another. And CAIR – its propaganda arm – is housed deep within the bowels of Washington and America’s main power centers – http://adinakutnicki.com/2012/07/25/the-muslim-mafia-aka-the-brotherhood-their-overarching-plan-what-it-means-for-americas-future-commentary-by-adina-kutnicki/
To best way to beat back Shariah Law’s putsch into the US is to first take aim at dismantling/exposing CAIR.
That definition of jihad the twittering is trying to inculcate into the popular psyche tracks almost perfectly with the inner spiritual struggle to find meaning that various Interfaith groups are all of a sudden pushing through initiatives like the Pluralism Project at Harvard. Having just read Andrew Bostom’s book on Sharia vs Freedom, it was clear to me somebody is spinning a story. In education we are seeing something similar in practice and function in both teacher professional development requirements and definitions of student growth that are actually grounded in Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi’s (MC for short) concept of the flow experience. Which is in turn grounded in Eastern spirituality and merging feelings, values, and beliefs into social justice action.
Following through that Pluralism Project brought me to an Education as Transformation conference at Wellesley in 1998 that sought to redefine spirituality that might be objected to in the classroom into meaning-making activities. That will likely be unnoticed. Checking to see what that prof was up to currently took me to that center at Georgetown funded by the Saudi prince. The one Giuliani refused to take money from after 9/11.
So yes I am not surprised about this Twitter campaign. It fits with what would have been below the radar screen were I not dealing with a high school pushing MC’s work as Spence Rogers’ Teaching for Excellence. It also fits with what I have been chronicling in the Common Core curricula and elsewhere of using the classroom to create false belief systems. http://www.invisibleserfscollar.com/continuing-our-conversation-on-the-planned-psychologizing-of-each-student-via-the-classroom/
Most of us adults experience something comparable watching the evening network news or picking up a newspaper these days. Creating false belief systems. Guides behavior just as much when it is not true. But the real life consequences bite even worse because they are all unforeseen.
At least for the manipulated majority. Some of us feel like we are watching Thelma and Louise in the T-Bird hitting the accelerator with the cliff looming.

‘Mein Kampf’ was also about a struggle. ‘Nuff said.
It would be interesting to know its Arabic title…
It all fits with what will come – a one world belief system with a one world government. They’re priming people to accept it when it comes forward.
Jihad can mean all kinds of things, but the most important thing that people should never lose sight of is that it mainly means war against the infidel for most of the world’s muslims. No, it doesn’t have to, but that’s the dominent teaching.
The liars at CAIR have amply demonstrated their proclivities in lying to the infidel, aka taqiyya.
I believe the founder of the Muslim Brotherhood, Hasan al-Banna:
“It is the nature of Islam to dominate, not to be dominated, to impose its law on all nations and to extend its power to the entire planet.”
I believe Osama bin laden in a November, 2001 video, released after 9/11:
“Terrorism is an obligation in Allah’s religion.”
I believe Euripides, too.
“A man’s most valuable trait is a judicious sense of what not to believe.”
~Greek playwright Euripides (485-406 B.C.)
“‘Islam’ is an Arabic word, usually explained by Muslims and other as meaning ‘surrender’, that is to say, the surrender of the believer to God. The active principle of the same verb, ‘Muslim’, means one who performs the act of surrender.” See Bernard Lewis, “The Middle East. A Brief History of the Last 2,000 Years”, p. 219.
The term “surrender” should be understood in a military sense. In other words, if a young man “surrenders” to the seductive ways of a young lady, said young man has “given in” to seduction, viz., no longer resists the temptations of the flesh, rather participates in them. In a military sense, however, “surrender”, particularly without conditions, means “capitualation”, e.g., the German or Japanese unconditional surrender in WW II. Once unconditionally surrendered, neither German nor Japanese armies possessed any autonomy, just carried out orders of a conquering power. Indeed, the acted of surrendering is the act of being conquered. “Jihad” is the process whereby the individual Muslim surrenders himself, surrenders his autonomy, unconditionally to God and, as such, has both an internal and external meaning.
Internally, the Muslim overcomes any resistance in himself relative to the absolute demands of Allah. In other words, he SURRENDERS his own autonomy and takes upon himself to OBEY the dictates of Allah (which are many and varied). In other words, he internalizes his “being conquered” through his unconditional surrender. This is no easy task. Insofar as the individual has carried out Jihad, against himself (thereby overcoming all resistance that arises in and from himself, from any attempt to maintain self-autonomy) he has realized his personal unconditional surrender.
Externally, the Muslim is to seeking to bring the world into accord with the dictates of Allah, i.e., to bring the world to surrender unconditionally to Allah. This is Jihad opposite the world. The realization of the mission to bring about the surrender of the world to Allah’s rules (viz., sharia) is the origins not just of missionary activities, but also of de facto engrandizement of Allah’s power. In orther words, he works in one way or another to bring the world “unconditionally to surrender” to Allah so that the whole world consists of MuSLims. The activity of seeking unconditional surrender to Allah is Jihad applied externally. Such engrandizing attempts can entail war, military acts or more stealth-like activities.
A few weeks ago I watched in German tv an interview with a young Egyptian Muslim. The young believer had been realizing the imperative of jihad (realizing the dicates of Allah) by seeking to aid the less fortunate of his fellow citizens. Allah has so ordered such acts. For awhile the young man came under the influence of Salafists and he, still motivated by jihad, went abroad for acts of fighting the enemies of Islam. He later tired of fighting and came back to Egypt. The important point I am seeking to make is that this young person experienced in no conscious manner nor detected or registered any difference between aiding the less fortunate and fighting militarily for Islam. Both aiding and fighting were JIHAD, period!
The definition of jihad given by CAIR was not totally wrong, though inadequately formulated, just in Islamic terms. Jihad involves all the things CAIR claims. Alas, CAIR did not specify all the thing that Jihad demands, viz., the use of force to subdue resistance to Allah, i.e., to militarily force under specified conditions the world “unconditionally to surrender” to the laws (= sharia) of Allah. CAIR was trying to promote their Islam as a variant of “social justice”, a meaningless concept in Islam. This was an act of jihad stealth. (Justice is the ordering of society according to the sharia/laws of Allah.)
The irony is that CAIR doesn’t need to do this at all.
The Western Left is in love with Islam and Shari’ah because they see successful implications of a “complete life” system of law and government with severe physical punishments (slavery, dismemberment, sexual humiliation, and death) for refusing to submit. They study how Islamists put these rules into practice with the goal of figuring out how to apply it to their own set of rules they wish to implement.
But since it is their nature to vascillate and then be conquered, Islam could effortlessly rout the Western Leftist Power Base any time it wished. The only thing stopping them is not knowing who will be the head of the Khilafah.
They can put all the happy faces they want around it, but the truth is still: “By their fruits you shall know them.”
Islam equals hell on earth to those trapped in its systems, except for the 1% we’re currently hearing so much tale of lately.
Keep it simple: ‘Mosque’ is another word for ‘armory,’ or ‘military headquarters.’
All subsequent strategies and tactics, including political, should be planned with that definition well in mind.
Now you’ve got me wondering who’s worse? Cousin MacBeth who offed gramps Duncan/Donnchaidh mac Crinain when they were scrapping over who should inherit control of the county, or cousin Obummer and his force-initiating Islamic buddies who want to control every one every minute of the day? I pick Obummer and the violent Islamics.
Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi’s investigations of flow were excellent empirical studies, and not the least bit mystical/magical… but I must admit that, lately, he’s been drifting toward the cliff with some of his personal opinionating on other matters.
Re: Andrew G. Bostom _Sharia versus Freedom: The Legacy of Islamic Totalitarianism_, my “to read” list is growing exponentially, so fast I didn’t realize, at first, that his book was already in the list. How many books are being published each year? Nearly a decade back I recall a report that it was over 30K new volumes just in the USA. We’re long over-due for the SF authors’ notion of the rapid knowledge insertion gadget which would load a dozen books into your mind in less than a minute, all nicely cross-indexed and fully conceptually integrated with prior knowledge and experience within a few hours (though Heinlein did point out in _Glory Road_ that it might have some down-side during the integration process).
Who cares what the League of Islamic-American Relations (L.I.A.R.) says?!
Jihad simply means: “eternal war against all the non-moslems in the world!”
And that “greater/Lesser Jihad” meme was simple one of the two or three jokes Moe cracked when writing the Qur’an!
FFS, the guy was married to over 20 women at the time! The reference to the ‘greater’ and ‘lesser’ jihads comes up in a tale about when Moe was returning from a hard day’s work slaughtering the infidels – and, as he contemplates leaving the battlefield to return to his harem, he quips “and now, back to the real war!” (dealing with his ever-squabbling, contentious wives)!
Judging by the sad, sorry state the Iranian agriculture is in, I would say Agricultural Jihad is a term quite apt.
In fact seems to me the mullahocracy has a Jihad department for every word derived from “culture”.
I’ve read enough, seen enough [I live in S/E Michigan and can be in Inner Dearborn in minutes]and am reasonably bright/well read enough to know to a certainty that Islam does not like me, does not accept me, and since it directs it’s ahherents to lie to unbelievers, it is my enemy, now and forever.
Nothing the so-called Moderate Muslims can say, do, or point to will ever dissuade me from this, **My Jihad of Truth and Survivial.**
(We had one such, running for Congress in my [11th] District recently.
He spoke to the local D S A Prgressive useful idiots, and was linked to CAIR
One : Doctor Sayed Taj of Canton, Michigan. He lost by 7 points.)
Remember people, you are ‘Haram’ ["dirty"] and to be cursed, taxed, marked publically, and disdained.
That will never change, from this moment, until you are dead, and then to beyond your existence.
So, get on the stick, guys.
They wanna play ‘tag’ and you’ll not like it, when you or yours, become *IT*………
Of course, one of the meanings of Jihad is holy war. Muslims engage in the Koran-apporved practice of Taqiyya (deceit) when they deny that one of the meanings of Jihad is holy war. Muslims are allowed to deceive infidels. Learn about the history of Muhammad and Islam here – The Innocent Prophet:

My Jihad’s founder, Ahmed Rehab is a Jew hater. Even his public anti Israel stance is a cover for his beliefs. If he is the member called ‘chameleon’ who posts at Loon Watch, the anti semitic ‘Islamophobia’ website, then he is an anti Jewish bigot, spouting nazi memes. He claims jews are race based on genes, and that’s who they choose to admit to Israel. This is absolute bullshit.
