More ‘Gunwalker’ Emails Suggest Gun-Control Conspiracy
A Washington Times editorial notes that Operation Fast and Furious was “too fast, too furious,” as the gunrunning scandal continues to widen.
It was bad enough that more than a half-dozen director-level law enforcement officials and an unknown number of supervisors and managers acquiesced to a plot that armed cartels with more than 2,000 weapons in ATF’s Phoenix Field Operations area. But saying that a combination of groupthink, stupidity, and institutional inertia is to blame for this fiasco is giving dozens of federal law enforcement officers across multiple agencies the benefit of the doubt that they are merely criminally incompetent.
The increasingly more plausible motivation: political appointees of the current administration concocted a scheme to destabilize a friendly government to restore the flagging anti-gun movement.
That scenario would have seemed paranoid just weeks ago, but new evidence appearing almost daily indicates that the “Fast and Furious” scandal based in Arizona may be just one part of a much wider campaign by multiple government agencies acting well beyond the law.
Recent developments indicate that in addition to Fast and Furious in Arizona, another gunrunning operation was headquartered in ATF’s Tampa Field Operations area. It allowed roughly 1,000 firearms to be smuggled to the ultra-violent MS-13 gang in Honduras.
Evidence also suggests that similar multi-agency programs exist in both the Houston and Dallas Field Operations areas covering all of Texas and Oklahoma.
Taken together, this suggests that we are not dealing with an isolated incident, but an ambitious and insidious attempt by the highest levels of a rogue government to reshape our world by any means necessary.
Katie Pavlich broke the story yesterday of a ”smoking gun” email between ATF officials: Mark R Chait, assistant director for field operations with the ATF, copied ATF deputy assistant director for field operations on an email to William Newell, the special agent in charge (SAC) of the Phoenix Field Division:
Bill – Can you see if these guns were all purchased from the same FfL and at one time. We are looking at anecdotal cases to support a letter on long gun multiple sales.
Chait was asking Newell to use tracing data to support an initiative supported by the administration to require the reporting of multiple rifle sales.
If that sounds familiar, it should; this week, President Obama pushed an executive order — an end-run around Congress – stating the feds will now require the reporting of multiple rifle sales within a five-day period. That the office of the presidency lacks the constitutional authority to enact such a rule seems irrelevant to this administration, which is certain to see this edict challenged in court if the ATF attempts to enforce it.
Even more damning: the existence of more emails that confirm these same ATF officials and others were colluding to use the Operation “Fast and Furious” guns that they helped smuggle into Mexico as a pretext for the new reporting regulation.
Well, the “social justice” agenda justifies the means… just like comrade Lenin said.

It is not unbelievable because it is supported by years of history about the Bolshevik culture of violence. Something I have known for years. They are compatible with the violence in Mexico and they are compatible with our leaders, not just the current batch but going all the way back to the New Deal. Yeah, Davod there is…bias is the mental act of being prejudiced and (in this case) collusion is the criminal application of that prejudice. There doesn’t have to be an actual meeting or words exchanged between perpetrators for collusion to have occurred. You just need an implicit understanding that if anything negative about “your” guy(s) comes into “your” possession you do not report on it and/or you encourage others to “do the same”. And when we are talking about the level of criminal activity that goes this high up into our government and this administration for this long (since mid-2009), it can be guaranteed that someone knew something about this criminal activity and didn’t report it. Some might also call that obstruction of justice or co-conspiracy. Even though it may never be proven to the level of bringing criminal charges, it does not limit us from applying Occam’s razor, more commonly known as common sense.

I have read a lot about this issue and I support gun rights but I still don’t understand what the big issue here is. Did ATF simply “allow” purchases that it was monitoring to be made, or did ATF actively assist in these purchases?
The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (abbreviated ATF) is a federal law enforcement organization within the United States Department of Justice. Its responsibilities include the investigation and prevention of federal offenses involving the unlawful use, manufacture, and possession of firearms and explosives.
That is their own enforcement of the law mandate and they violated every bit of it by ALLOWING KNOWN CRIMINALS or agents of known criminals to go free with illegally purchased guns, thereby breaking the law themselves. Additionally, they colluded with gun sellers in multiple states to ALLOW the sale of these guns illegally to known criminals or agents of known criminals.
So in answer to you question, yes, they both allowed the purchase and actively assisted in the purchase of firearms by straw-buyers for known criminals. AND those weapons, which they of course lost all track of, were used in murdering (at last count) over 150 men, women, children, law enforcement officers and soldiers of various nations. AND now they are trying to cover it up. Everything they have done, from start to finish has been illegal according to the laws of the United States of America. And they need to be prosecuted for it.

Yes, they assisted. By ordering the sales to go through despite the dealer’s concerns:
FFL dealer calls ATF: “hey, we have a guy here trying to buy some guns, and we think it’s a straw purchase.”
ATF to dealer: “sell him the guns”
FFL dealer: “we think this is an illegal sale…”
ATF: “do it or you lose your FFL”
That’s what happened here. That’s not a transcript (obviously), but it’s the gist of what happened. The ATF also set up cameras in the shops to get video tapes of the sales. Supposedly this was so they could arrest the people making straw purchases. Except they never made the arrest; they let the buyers take the guns out of the country.
Once the buyers and the guns were out of the country, the ATF no longer had jurisdiction to arrest them. So they not only permitted multiple crimes to happen, THEY ORDERED LAW-ABIDING CITIZENS TO AID AND ABET THE CRIMES.
Further, there have been indications that some of the gunrunners, for whom the straw buyers made their purchases, and some of the cartel capos, to whom the gunrunners delivered those guns, were paid informants to several other DOJ operations under the FBI, DEA, and DHS.
Either ATF routinely required all FFLs under observation to approve all questionable large-quantity sales (not likely,) or ATF required approval selectively based on information received outside the context of the FFl-to-straw buyer transaction.
So either ATF had its own informants at the gunrunner-to-capo level, or it got information from the other DOJ agencies via their informants at that level.
In any case, Melson’s recent claims that ATF was somehow kept in the dark about the presence and usefulness of other agencies informants are not credible.
And as has been pointed out many times, NONE of these cross-border operations could ever have begun or continued without the full awareness at the top of the State Department.
Think about it – leaving aside the constitutional and procedural implications – would YOU want to explain to Hillary why you chose not to inform her of these activities? Probably not. She knew *everything*, if for no other reason than to keep proof of her knowing very, very difficult.
It looks like ‘Stimulus’ money was actually used to buy the guns, there was a $40,000,000 set aside for the ATF for “Fast and Furious.” No one knew what the money was for at the time, it passed easily because Pelosi, Reid and Obama were saying don’t worry about it, “you have to sign it first before you can know whats in it;”now we know what some of the the things that were in it were for. Hitler, as yet but a candidate for office, was said to have been elated at the law’s passage, which was written to, and seemed to, have restricted both parties equally. Why the elation became apparent soon enough, when Kristalnicht ‘happened’ mere days after the confiscation (enabled by the several years previous gun registrations) of Jewish guns. This was but an example of the larger picture, which was of the Nazi party using the nation-wide registration records from the Weimar Republic, force-multiplied their own sympathizers against their opponents, on the private civilian unorganized and street-mob (the era’s version of today’s ‘flash mob’) level, by selectively enforcing the confiscation edicts.

Although I would dearly love to see this outrage topple Holden, Obama, et al., it won’t. Obama’s free pass hasn’t been revoked, and never will be, insofar as the MSM is concerned. They were not exported for use by a government agency, nor as a part of foreign aid or as a part of any legal purchase, nor Congressionally approved. It’s not a legit undercover operation because there is no paper trail nor did it follow any of the undercover ops rules. None of the exceptions apply. Anyone who ordered those guns over the border and ordered that they not be interdicted is a felon, with punishments of a being fined for $1,000,000 and imprisonment for up to 10 years per offense.

Simply put, what was the purpose of allowing straw buyers to purchase guns that found their way into criminal hands? Someone in power was enabling this operation. What would they gain? Proff that the guns that turned up in crimes on both sides of the boarder were bought in the US? This scam was aimed to show the gullible MSN that guns purchased in the US were being shipped to drug dealers in Mexico. Do you recall all of the press hype when the Mexican authorities and the US authorities held the press photo ops showing that 90% of the guns came from the US. Well what do we know now? This was an elaborate scheme to promote more and stricter gun laws on law abiding US citizens.

A method so often used that it became a gestapo ‘calling card’: The police would appear at the home of a suspected dissident, and claiming an anonymous tip would begin digging in the yard or someplace nearby –and ”find” a buried gun. While RICO charges may feel existentially justified in light of the perverse nature of the F&F scandal, Bob, there’s just one problem.
If I’m reading the statute correctly, RICO charges are brought to Federal court by a US Atty. The likelihood of a DOJ official bringing charges against the BATF is on par with my chances of winning the MegaLotto, marrying Miss America, discovering a unified field theory, and winning the World Series single-handedly all in the same day.
It seems a special prosecutor is called for, at the very least, and articles of impeachment of the various officials involved rather than a RICO suit. YMMV.

Well, so far we are in our soft chairs in front of the computer yelling at the screen. So did the good Germans sit in front of their radio and yell at the speaker. Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out — Because I was not a Trade Unionist. Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out — Because I was not a Jew. Then they came for me — and there was no one left to speak for me. So what to do.
We in the TEA Party organized a massive march on DC twice to show government that we were against their big government schemes. So why aren’t we organizing to do the same for a basic constitutional right, the 2nd Amendment. Last year the SCOTUS finally agreed it was applicable to our entire country and the 2nd Amendment was incorporated. The Bill of Rights by a SCOTUS decision, early on in our history, decided those rights DID NOT apply to state and local governments’ actions. The 14th amendment changed that constitutional primus.
So again I ask, are we going to sit round and discuss what government is doing like good Germans or take some civil, non-violent action to make our voice heard. MLK would never had succeeded in bringing civil rights to all Americans by doing what we are doing. So where is the NRA?

I find this amazing. I bet the politically appointed officials in DOJ who dreamed this PR operation up were probably the same people salivating when bad mouthing George Bush over the urban legend about the CIA importing drugs into the American black ghettos to kill black folks. LBJ killed 58000 Americans defending South Vietnam and Nixon gets the bad PR for “winning” the war and a peace treaty that wasn’t enforced by the democrats who started the war. Why stop with weapons. My guess is the DEA is doing the same thing with drugs coming in as ATF is doing with weapons going out.

Remember there are hundreds of times more of us then there are of them, and while the lame stream media is complicit with the destruction of our nation they are no longer a monopoly. We don’t need to convey what is going on to millions of people who are too busy watching “American Idol”, since they never really know or care about what is happening anyways. We need to reach the decision makers and the natural leaders and millions of forums like Pajama media are how we can do that. Practice being clear and obvious about how you phrase the truth. Keep on message by saying “Gun Runner” and “Fast and Furious” so that the public eventually learns the words and the names, remember no acronyms since the public learned to remember “Watergate” and will never learn “F&F”. This is a propaganda problem, the problem is that the Left is much better at propaganda then we are. The solution is found in our passion and in the truth and in our overwhelming numbers. Use these factors to speak out, to everyone you can as clearly and consisely as you can. I keep a Word Document file of every good quote and comment that one of my fellow posters uses to be able to retrieve it easily to quote in one of my own comments to convey the importance of a critical idea. Collect insights well written and then dispatch them agains the opposition where they will have the biggest impact and we can begin to undercut the effectiveness of this Left Wing cabal.
This is the kind of deceitful, corrupt, lawless behavior one expects from a totalitarian government, not the government of the United States of America. The ATF needs to be abolished, people need to go to jail, and if it can be proved Obama knew about and approved this, he needs to be impeached and put in jail.
There are more points I don’t see being acknowledged which further prove this was TREASON!
(1) While ATF was ORDERING dealers to make these sales over their vociferous objections, they were also colluding with Washington Post and others to publish articles BLAMING THE DEALERS for making the sales — the very same sales they’d been ORDERED to make!
(2) They keep claiming the object was to “take down a cartel” yet:
(a) This was all hidden from the Mex.gov – the only people with the jurisdiction to make such an arrest
(b) This was all hidden from ALL US PERSONNEL on the ground in Mexico as well!
(c) All the above were even blocked from accessing *ANY* IT/database info about *ANY* of the guns included in the aforementioned purchases!
(d) When Darren Gil — ATF Liason to the Mex.gov — stumbled over these facts and raised hell, he was forced into early retirement!
Make no mistake – this was NEVER anything other than a cynical, murderous, TREASONOUS conspiracy to create a great big pile of bloody, brown bodies to be used to justify further infringement of the rights of American Citizens — rights which the Constitution says “SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED!”

The REAL question is whether any of the local “Law Enforcement” from the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office, the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office, or the Miami-Dade Police Department will come forward with information as to what BATFE was doing out of their Tampa Field Division with guns being run to Honduras.
