For what it's worth, I voted around 10 this morning. Mine was the 68th ballot cast in my precinct, and the 38th in the Republican primary. This is in Lansing -- a union town, a government town, a university town, and normally heavily Democratic. Either the Dems are staying away because their primary is meaningless, or else they are crossing over.

One major reason for the light turnout in Michigan is the fact the many people, myself included, are NOT voting because we don't want our personal information supplied to the political parties, which denies us the opportunity to cast a "secret ballot". Further info can be found here:

"Mike Huckabee 19%"

This means that Huckabee is finished. He must place first in South Carolina to have any sort of chance. The real question concerns Fred Thompson's campaign. Is he going to start doing something?

We hope Michigan is wise and gives Romney a win. Only Romney has the economic expertise to really turn things around! Romney will strictly defend our constitution and uphold individual and states rights. A Vote for Romney is a vote for Freedom, Strength, and a better Future.
