Murray will not be silenced. In mid-March he was trying to stop Hezbollah spokesperson Dr. Ibrahim Moussawi from entering Britain, in the wake of the expulsion from Heathrow of Dutch MP Geert Wilders for trying to import his film about Islam. Douglas Murray was successful but is now regarded as the number one Islamophobe on Anglo-Islam’s growing list of hate figures. His efforts were a pyrrhic victory because April has seen Lebanese-born Dyab Abou Jahjah, who fought for Hezbollah against Israel, addressing meetings in London with the Stop the War Coalition; he also spoke in the Grand Committee Room of the House of Commons, at the launch of a British branch of the International Union of Parliamentarians for Palestine. It also featured a speech by Lebanese Hezbollah MP Hussein al-Hajj Hassan — “the first Hezbollah MP to speak in the House of Commons.” MPACUK complains that Muslims are perpetually “silenced by the Zionists” but the Grand Committee Room of Parliament isn’t exactly silence.

What is significant about MPACUK is its blog. The venomous rhetoric spewing forth from dawn until dusk is a mirror on a British universe that has arisen in the past thirty years of radicalization of young Muslims, many of whose parents and grandparents came to this country to work hard and keep a low profile. The excuse for radicalism in Britain is the “brutalization of Palestine” by Israel and in turn the imams who rail about this every day. I do not buy this. The endless atrocities against Jews and Israelis — for example, the PLO’s cruel murder of Leon Klinghoffer, the murder of Dora Bloch, and the sadistic massacre of the Israeli Olympic athletes — could have inspired hundreds of British rabbis to rally young Anglo-Jews to rise up against Muslims. Did one rabbi in Britain do this? No. Did rabbis in the United States rail about Muslims after 9/11? If so, I would like to hear about it.

MPACUK and its bloggers routinely assert that “Zionist devils” control the political elite in America; their greed pulled the major world powers into a recession; the “Gestapo Israelis murder in cold blood” and “these animals must be stopped.” They complain about the inordinate number of films about the Holocaust, which their bloggers routinely denounce as a fabrication.

The mainstream media have completely ignored a stunning entry on the MPACUK website in March: they celebrate the election of a “Hizb ut-Tahrir man” as the new president of the University of Westminster student union. This Sunni organization, which promotes the concept of a world caliphate and urges its youth to train for jihad, is not illegal in the UK but its aims include the dismantling of the “Zionist entity.” It is proscribed in many Muslim nations but has a big following in (natch) the United Kingdom. What is even more intriguing is that bloggers write in to complain to MPACUK that it has “outed” a man whose membership in “HT” ought to have been kept secret.

During the height of the violent clashes with London’s long-suffering police at demonstrations against Israel’s Gaza intervention, the MPACUK blog encouraged members to bring tomatoes and eggs, which is no great crime, but the rhetoric was filled with Jew-hatred. The popular British comedy actress Maureen Lipman remarked in the Jewish Chronicle in March that she had dared stick her neck out for Israel but had quickly become aware of the venomous nature of Jew-hatred because of her comments.

Interesting, too, that on a page that has now disappeared a MPACUK blogger remarked, “Gordon Brown … privately told his people at the United Nations Security Council to tacitly block a ceasefire. … What a hypocrite, I hope his family suffers the same fate as the innocent children in Gaza.” Interesting! MPACUK’s blog is allowed to threaten the family of the prime minister. One has to visit the site to get the true flavor of what appears to be an unmoderated blog to promote pure hate. Conversely, I challenge someone to find an Anglo-Jewish website that obsesses on “vermin” Muslims.

Words can be father to actions, and I fear the hate rhetoric that fills the many pages of MPACUK’s website could one day fuel something much worse than July 7, 2005.

We keep on trying to be nice to people who, as shown by their stated aims and practices, are not nice in any way.

They are emboldened by what they see as a national weakness in the face of their demands. Well, perhaps they are right. We are being weak. In our effort to accommodate all views and all shades of opinion the muslims are taking the opportunity to shout loudest.

But what irks so many in the UK is that these aren’t just words. This is not some example of the use of free speech in a democracy. Above all there is no sense that all this is mere rhetoric. Islamofacists continually demonstrate a complete disregard for life and law and order, and have no problem drawing young males to their cause in order to export (and import) their hatreds.

Muslims ask for respect. But until they can show even a vague respect for others it is going to be a long time before they are seen as anything but a problem. It’s really hard to respect people who wish to convert and subvert a society that flawed though it is, offers far more than any alternative cooked up by Islam.

  2. Good article about a vile bunch of people. That’s at least two “Number 1 Islamophobes”. Can’t these MPACUK people count?

President Obama, correctly stated in Turkey yesterday, that America is not at war with Islam. But it’s obvious that President Obama, nor his blind followers are aware that Islam is at war with America, Israel, and the West.
President Obama’s disciples like Chris Matthew of MSNBC, claim this is a very intelligent man. But he doesn’t act like it at times. It’s time for Obama to read the Koran. If he did then he just might realize that the leaders of Islam are out to convert the world to Islam. Either by peaceful means or by force.
Osama Bin Laden has clearly stated “that until the entire world is converted to the Muslim religion, his terror and his followers terror on the world will not cease.” I have written about this on my b log on MySpace many times. Dale A. Wilhite – Telluride, Colorado

Our president’s and policymakers’ clear assertion to the contrary, we are not engaged in a war with Islam. No a “contingency operation” but a war. And not against terrorism but Islam.

Religious warfare, terrorism, kidnap, beheading, duplicity and treaty treaty-breaking were the everyday practices and teachings of the pirate-prophet of the Arabs. Islam is the religion of hate.

Jews and Christians share a reverence for the Golden Rule. Muslims do not.

How darkly amusing that a tiny group of peaceful English Jews frightens the ordinary Briton more than millions of restive English Muslim not to mention th their brethren in their teeming millions at the gate.

Reminds you of the hold religion continues to maintain on the overtly anti-religious modern mind mind. Christianity and Islam, Jewish derivatives both, cannot overcome the shame of their sycophantic beginnings and slavishly imitative religious practices and traditions.

Ordinary Jews, yet loom large and conspiratorial in the hopelessly superstitious minds of the modern Christians. The Muslims, of course, require a few more centuries to achieve modernity.

So tell us again the foundation myth of the English. Of Arthur and Lancelot and the Knights of the round table. What was their quest? The golden fleece? No, that was Jason and the Argonauts.

King Arthur and his Knights were after the Holy Grail. The Passover kiddush goblet from which Joshua the Galilean drank the traditional four cups of wine during the Passover Seder that was his Last Supper.

The four cups of Passover wine and the unleavened Passover matzoh are the blood and flesh of St. Paul’s Eucharist.

A Jew named Joseph of Arimathia (Aram Naharaim of the Hebrew Bible) brought the Holy Grail to England. And thus the sceptered isle became home for the “New Israel.”

The ordinary Briton has long forgotten all these quaint myths. And he isn’t terribly religious to begin with. Not to worry. The Muslims he doesn’t fear and joins for anti-Jewish demonstrations will soon supply him a new set of myths.

The Jews in Germany, at the time Hitler took power, were less than 1% of the population, barely half a million.

But the Nazis inflated the so-called Jewish threat with propaganda and indoctrination. Some of the claims of the Nazis were pure fabrication, as there weren’t enough Jews in Germany to corroborate their claim. Hitler once said: If we did not have the Jew, we would have to invent him.

Evil mass movements, like the Nazis, and now Islam expansionism, must have a pivot of hate. Using this hate as a way of agitation, they keep the masses numb. Thus, the Castro regime loves the embargo, and Chavez would have to look for another scapegoat if the US did not exist.

CAIR is doing here the same thing that the Muslim Public Affair Committee UK does in Great Britain, finances often come from Saudi Arabia, that’s why so many people were troubled when a few days ago, Obama bowed so low when saluting the Saudi prince (or whatever he is).

I would expect that Obama would know the Koran much better than he knows the Bible.

I’m so tired of these people and the way they exploit children and innocents.

Such base people, can’t seem to find anything better to do in their own brief sojourns on Earth than rail against “Zionists” and long for martyrdom (hypocritically enough, it is often the martyrdom of those they’ve brainwashed, not themselves)

This has to be one of the most ignorant movements of all time, a source of picayune power for a whole cadre of self-designated religious leaders …Although the Koran repeatedly declares that God’s revelation is conclusive and sufficient guidance for Muslims and that there is no need for any supplementary legal authority in Islam, the traditional Muslim clergy defies this explicit divine assurance. They falsely convince their flock that they cannot be true believers without the hadith.

An interesting article in today’s Timesonline…

My persecution by the Muslim McCarthyites

(the just disrupted Easter plot in England was being put together by a lot of Pakistanis in the country on student visas…when oh when will “the world” get a cluel…)

“Conversely, I challenge someone to find an Anglo-Jewish website that obsesses on ‘vermin’ Muslims.”

Why dont you start with Harry’s Place with its Islamophobic, racist, zionism supporters who are obssessed with demonising ALL muslims and Islam?

  11. Marie Stockton:

Harry’s Place is critical of “Islamism”, that is political Islam. Some commenters, myself included, are highly critical of Islam. But nobody calls Muslims vermin – they would rightly be banned if they did.

Come on guys, this anti-semitism slur is getting old. If you want to attack mpac do it with some credibility. Shouting anti-semitism everytime a Muslims says the word Jew isn’t doing much for you and does an injustice to all those who have actully suffered from anti-semitism.

    Aims and policies

MPACUK encourages Muslim participation in the mainstream British political process and has no political affiliation; in particular it encourages Muslims to participate in tactical voting against MPs who support policies which it considers not to be in Muslims’ interest. This can extend both to national issues such as civil liberties, Islamophobia and anti-terror legislation; and to foreign policy, including the 2003 invasion of Iraq or Israeli action in the Palestinian territories and Lebanon. It condemns Islamic extremists such as Omar Bakri Mohammed, and has criticised radical Islamist groups such as Hizb ut-Tahrir which reject Muslim participation in Western politics.

“David Irving claimed he was not antisemitic and was in fact being attacked by the powerful pro-Israeli lobby; in short, being smeared … I believed him, it’s as simple as that … I would not have supported anyone who is antisemitic.”[5] Bukhari told The Observer: “I condemn antisemitism as strongly as I condemn Zionism (in my opinion they are both racist ideologies). I also believe that anyone who denies the Holocaust is wrong (I don’t think they should be put behind bars for it though).
