American women owe Kate Middleton a great big “Thank you” for shifting the attention of the fashion media away from Michelle Obama, “the first lady of fashion, Walmart style”. For 4 years now, Americans have been collectively asking ourselves, “What in the world is she wearing???” while secretly hoping no one else in the world is watching her. The thought that Mrs. Obama represents us, and usually shows up at both formal and informal events looking like something the cat drug in, is one more reason to make Mr. Obama a one term president! We fashionistas have run out of clever one liners to cover her ever expanding portfolio of fashion faux pas!
