It is actually intellectually pathetic to see the disconect between obvious war and the Administration’s denial of it’s existence in it’s chosen treatment of KSM. It goes to show just how overated all that Columbia Harvard crap happens to be when you get away from the lables. President Obama is supposed to be the smartest ever. We heard the same platitudes about Carter. The policy is proving just how empty the legacy media’s rhetoric is. What a waste of obvious talent. Smart has nothing to do with educated.

I note that troll traffic has been rather light re the decision made by the Holder- Obama tandem. Perhaps they sense the disaster to come and the negative light it will cast upon the tut tuting ACLU types and other hate my countryites who constitute the lefty fringe of our political spectrum. These people have truely overreached this time and they are going to regret this irrational choice. As the process unfolds, Holder may have to walk the plank, something he may not have considered. Obama will sacrifice him in a hurry to save his own skin

This is going to be uglier than OJ’s trial. If I were defense counsel I would be licking my chops. Wait until Obama’s and Holder’s own words are used in Motions To Supress where they have each described waterboarding as torture. Wait until the District Court judge rules that the defense must be allowed to depose CIA agents who participated in enhanced interogation. I could go on and on and on. Make no mistake that under the rules the defendants will have a cornucopia of rights that would have been unavailable to them in a military court setting.

I reiterate; that this is amoung the worst decisions I have seen our government make in my life time. I am shocked that the man who waxed eloquent on the Senate floor about the virtues of trying KSM via a military proceeding has decided not to follow the law that he actually voted for. I can not fathom his thinking, for he is not a dumb man.
