@ 18/70/104 vivo:
Soooo, you deny that you are a racist? I couldn’t tell from your insightful response. Rather than show me what you believe to be a fallacy in my logic, it’s easier to think I’m asleep?

Lookit, dude: anybody can vote based upon whatever criteria they think best. There is no qualifying test, beyond citizenry and lack of felony conviction (something POOR CITIZEN should guard against, being a child abuser and all). It is certainly your prerogative to vote for a black man simply because he is black – and I have no right to stop you from it. I DO have the right to disagree with your choice, but at the end of the day the choice is just that: yours.

If you would rather attack the “barking, barking, barking” crowd of hypocrites (#70), that’s up to you. But before you throw around grown-up words like hypocrite, it would be wise to make sure A) you understand the word and B) it doesn’t apply to you as well. If you think voting for President Obama because of his African heritage was a good thing to do, how dare you label those that voted otherwise racist. Moreover, how dare you (and President Carter) assume that, because of you base your support for President Obama entirely on the color of his skin, I do likewise. While you certainly have the right to your opinion, you also have the right to be wrong – and it seems you are exercising that right to the fullest.

You can’t have it both ways and be intellectually honest. You can’t say people who voted against a candidate for being black were wrong, while at the same time having yourself voted for the same candidate for being black. So which is it? Instead of condemning MY actions, consider your own first. Either you voted for President Obama solely because of race, or you had some other criteria. If you choose the latter, why do you – and President Carter – insist that opponents MUST have chosen the former? Why must you refuse to allow that others may have legitimate objections to a candidate who happens to be black?

Again: which is it? Are you blind to your own hypocrisy? Are you intentionally calling others racist without cause; knowing that you are arguing from a losing position and thus have no other recourse?

Do you think race is the only criteria upon which an election should be decided? If so: why do you project your belief on others. If not: why do you think others are incapable of holding the same view, and will vote against a candidate irrespective of race?

Which is it, vivo?

BTW, if you’re not going to respond intelligently, please just let yourself out and go bark with the other trolls somewhere else , I’m trying to et some sleep around here

P.S. Still waiting on Ding’s e-dress.

I'm quoting someone else, but I think it's a great line - President Carter thinks anyone who criticizes the President is racist - so when Carter criticizes Israel, does that make him an anti-Semite?

“Carter’s face reddened with anger, and he began to sweat. Instead of softening his language, he spoke of housing policies in terms of ‘black intrusion,’ of ‘alien groups’ and of ‘a diametrically opposite kind of family.”

His face reddened, I guess his neck didn't have to LOL. Oops, now I'll be accused of racism against white Southerners.

To quote the Hartford Courant:

"Carter incensed (Jesse) Jackson during his 1976 presidential campaign when the former Georgia governor declared "there's nothing wrong with ethnic purity being maintained" in a neighborhood. It was as jarring a phrase then as it is now, but Carter was in search of votes among the white ethnic urban Democratic primary voters hostile to government housing programs that brought racial integration.

Pressed to explain, Carter's venomous piety nearly ended his campaign. According to Time magazine, "Carter's face reddened with anger, and he began to sweat. Instead of softening his language, he spoke of housing policies in terms of 'black intrusion,' of 'alien groups' and of 'a diametrically opposite kind of family."" (see http://www.courant.com/news/opinion/editorials/hc-rennie-carter-pelosi.artsep20,0,828197.column)

Even though I am a native Georgian - who never voted for James Earl Carter a/k/a "Jimmy" - the earlier comments appear to come from the heart of people who know Jimmy a heck of a lot better than I thought I did. He fits every adjective and invective thrown - and more. To me, he is living proof that "anyone can become President". He pretty much did to Georgia, as Governor, what he did to America, as its President. He certainly is not stupid, but his ego far outweighs his basic, native intelligence; he is, above all, shrewd and cunning - - and hates the Jewish People. Lest we forget - his brother, Billy(remember "Billy Beer"?)was for awhile, a lobbyist for some Libyan interests.

Last week, the most inept President in the history of any country called Joe Wilson a bigot. Just when I think Jimmy can't say anything dumber, he totally redeems himself.

He's a lying bigot on steroids.

Last week, Charles Gibson who will soon be “retiring” from ABC news, was asked why the main stream media hadn’t been covering the Acorn scandal. I'm not sure what Gibson is.

Now, for all you mouth breathers who keep on claiming Sarah Palin did poorly in interviews while running for President, especially the one with Charles Gibson when he asked her about the Bush Doctrine, I’d like you to give me your reaction to Gibson’s answer; the one he gave last week about the Acorn scandal.

Gibson answered. “What Acorn Scandal? I haven’t heard anything.”

You can chalk it up to a senior moment, I guess. Of course, no member of the press fraternity later asked Gibson why he answered in that way.

Granted, it’s not near as bad as Sherri Sheperd of the “View” seriously trying to decide if she believes the earth is round or flat, but Gibson’s answer left his friends with their mouths hanging open.

unfortunately for the Democrats, not just the hard left news media has trouble answering the questions of the day.

Take President Obama trying to respond to overriding concerns that ObamaCare will use tax dollars to provide health care for illegal aliens.

During the big speech last week, Joe Wilson caught Obama in a bald faced lie.

Wilson yelled out in senate chambers (bad form although the left booed and shouted out aspersions when Bush was giving a state of the union speech) “You lie.”

If you’re following my train of thought, perhaps you ask yourself where Obama’s lie was.

I’ll tell you. Here’s where Barack lies like, say a President Clinton who said,”I had no sexual relations with that woman.” Clinton’s lawyers said the phrase, “sexual relations” didn’t apply to the kind of sex Bill had with Monica.

Obama, with his lawyers within whispering distance, told Obama to say, “people are claiming that our reform efforts will insure illegal immigrants”.

Which isn’t true. Nobody’s claiming that.

Rather, here’s the concern.

People are concerned that illegal aliens (uninsured illegal aliens) will receive free care through ObamaCare.

See the difference?

The legal loophole involves the fact that illegal aliens don’t have to be insured or “covered” to receive ObamaCare.

President Double talk then makes another totally meaningless statement when he says,” “the reforms I’m proposing would not apply to those who are here illegally”.

“Apply”? What in the world does that mean?

It means nothing. To suggest that it’s further proof that illegal aliens won’t receive ObamaCare is a lie.

In truth, Rep, Keller introduced a provision in ObambCare that would have shut the door on illegal aliens receiving ObamaCare. Can you guess what the Democrats did? They voted it down. The vote: 28-16 on straight party lines.

The above is what provoked Joe Wilson to say, “You lie.”

Regardless of what Obama’s weasel words say, the question is whether, ObamaCare will dole out health care to illegal aliens.

I’m talking about what will actually happen. Obama is using words that sound like illegal aliens won’t receive free healthcare.

But the words are lawyer weasel words, filled with loopholes far as the eye can see.

Joe Wilson is no dummy. Obama lies with the rapidity of an assault rifle on automatic.

Predictably, the Democrat New Man cannot argue the facts and so proceeds to the application of condescension. Why are you afraid to put in writing the "boy" that drips from your fist and second sentences? It’s obviously there, so why didn’t you say what you really mean by writing, “I’m sorry for your mother, boy”?

Anyone who disagrees with the racist democrat will be accused of lacking learning and not being well read. It is reading the blatant racism democrat authors promote in their writings and dealing with democrat racists that leads anyone with an open mind to the realization that the democrat party is now and always has been the party of racism. Anyone who reads democrat authors and applies the same rules for uncovering ‘code words’ to those authors that you apply to those you want to attack will clearly see the racism inherent in democrat philosophy.

I realize, though, that the odds of you actually spending any time learning are slim since you wallow in the slough of verbose ignorance and speech codes. I hope you continue to enjoy the comfortable and predictable world of your democrat racist herd and enjoy being as predictable as the rest of your racist crowd. Now, proceed to the next predictable step in your rote defense of the indefensible racism of the democrat party.

My mother taught me to look for the good in everyone, regardless of race, national origin or church affiliation.

But you wouldn’t know that based on the limited data you have here before you.
