Boris:

But she has tons more executive experience than Barack who has NONE. Before he ran for this office, who ever heard of him? lol. Oh yes he did say he 'ran this campaign'. Well, no he did and does not.

His only experience is in missing votes and running for office.

Anyway, being Governor of our second biggest state with the second most powerful state governorship, reminds me of Arkansas Bill and Georgia Jimmy. Governors make the best presidents.

.
This is going to be fun. History will be made, one way or another, and it looks more likely now that it will be the right history.

Even more Hillary supporters will go for McCain now. Obama is no longer a near certainty. Heaven forbid something happens to McCain, but I believe Palin would rise to the occasion. She has the right attitude. Everyone knows Obama is NOT ready for POTUS, Palin is only for the VP. Look at Dan Quayle.

YEY SARAH PALIN! YEY John McCain! Great pick! The 1st woman for the GOP VP? SCORE!

She's conservative! SCORE! She's a Governor! SCORE! She's pro-drilling! She's a hunter! SCORE! She's a hockey Mom and played basketball in school! SCORE! She's pro-life! And she respects women! SCORE! She fights corruption! SCORE! She's high-energy! SCORE! She's tough! SCORE! She's got 5 kids! SCORE! Her son is going to Iraq in the Armed Forces! SCORE! She's married to a Blue-collar professional! SCORE! She's smart! SCORE! She's young! SCORE!

And she's a Hotty to boot! SCORE! The Left is going to go nuts! SCORE!

ProgMeister,

Still using a Rolodex? Most people have blackberries. Oh well, old "pros" like you probably get most of your 'insider information' from that handy dandy tin foil receiver on your head anyway.

It's great you can do numbers, too. Let's do talk about quantity, what percentage of voters voted for Palin? Because the fact that one wins the majority of available voters is what determines the outcome of an election, not a stand alone number. How many people are in Delaware? Is that still a state? (Its most populous city has less than 75,000 people.)

We can trade insults all day, and you can say that a Governor of the largest state (approximately 33% landmass of the lower 48) has no experience until the moose come home and Sarah has one for supper; and I hope you do for two reasons. First, it displays a glaring double standard which the women such as myself attribute to a low-brain functioning sexist attitude. Second, you'll let this over-confidence guide you into the worst electoral defeat in history. In the first case you'll be thinking inside your pants and in the second you'll be flying by the seat of them. Either way the ugly scenery never changes.

(Do a little more research on why Palin quit, and what happened afterward. You stopped in a very convenient place in the story; you quit too soon. It's a liberal failing. I know, I used to be one myself and then I grew up. I expect from the rolodex comment that you should have too, but just can't quite make the leap. Then again your sexist double standards on the qualifications between men and women are further confirmation you've never quite gotten beyond teenage angst.)

The ONLY reason you are calling her unqualified and inexperienced is because you are a sexist. Period. If her name had a D behind it, you'd find some way to get over it, but as in the case of Hillary, maybe not enough to quite give a woman the same credit as a man with lesser credentials.

Women are more than a womb. They actually have other body parts. You'd have to get a view from above your own belt buckle to see that. Then you might begin to see the achievements of a 44 year old woman who has spent 12 years in elected office in executive positions, managing resources including human resources. Governing a state is more than governing people, it is managing resources, otherwise why do all the dems want to blame Katrina's problems on Bush? Resources and how he managed them, right? Well, Alaska has resources that make Illinois bow her cornfed heart in shame. Governance means handling difficult situations and being a good steward with what you are given. (Where are the millions from the Annenberg Foundation, and where are the results? Obama's executive experience was a fiscal disaster. And don't get me started on the slum revitalization partnership he spearheaded with Rezko for SS Chicago leaving poor old people freezing in winter with no heat.)

When Alaska became a state the argument was that she brought with her vast amounts of resources. Liberals don't want an Alaskan who reveals the hollowness of their green agenda which is blocking drilling, that's plain to see. Can't relieve the suffering at the pump, it's against the agenda.

As to how the world sees the 'novice', there's this from Israel:

Allegations from Democrats Insulting to Voters' Intelligence

“What is absurd is that Sarah Palin wore a button one time and Barack Obama sat in a church of an anti-semitic, anti-Israel preacher and absorbed his teachings for over 20 years,” said Bardash, adding, “I leave it to the intelligence of the voter to determine who has a more troubling record.”

Bardash wished to remind people that “Obama’s associations with ex-terrorist Ayers and pro-Palestinian Arab radicals are of great concern to democrats and republicans alike.” His group helps American citizens register for US elections in Israel, and he noted that “most people contacting our group to vote are registered Democrats that are crossing over to vote for the pro-Israel candidate, John McCain.”

Turning his attention to Obama’s choice for running mate, Bardash warned that “Joe Biden’s sketchy record vis-a-vis the threat that Iran poses should be troubling for all Americans in Israel and in the US.”

But Joe Biden has all this experience and he has an international reputation. Too bad it's a bad one.

I am amazed at all the men talking about Sarah being “hot” so she will get their vote.

Not agreeing with these troglodytes, but we've never heard women in the media saying that they'll vote for Obama because he's handsome?

JUST SAY NOBAMA !!!
Oh stop whining Democrats ... for the past 1 1/2 years, you've been trying every trick in the book to shove an inexperienced, empty suit, Barack Hussein Obama, down the throats of Americans. Sure, maybe you sweetened the bad taste by adding pretty speeches, big swooning crowds, and fireworks ... but, you still tried to shove him down our throats, at every opportunity. Democrats, it was a lot easier to highjack the primary election than it's going to be with the general election. Looks like America is going to elect McCain/Palin for President and V.P.. And, that means: No Wright, no Farrakahn, no Ayers, no Rezko, no mean Michelle, and, NOBAMA !!!

Anrgy African: Excuse equal pay will lower everyone's salary (please look at France's average person's salary, where equality is primary to all decesions), to a lower common denominator.

jackie: singned? is that singed? Sorry you were for Obama all along...because Paulin is so right.
