You, sir, are a crackpot, neo-con toadie. Peden a 'front-runner'? Show me the numbers -- and I mean some credible numbers. Give me a break. Look at the fund-raising numbers. Look at the fact that most people in his district don't even know who Peden is. You may wish for a Peden victory, but wishful thinking is not reporting.

You must admit, Peden has a real nice dimple in his chin. If someone votes for him over RP for that reason, then I totally understand.

Oh wonderful! The "grown-ups" have arrived to the Freedom Party! I love how these so-called adults use big words like "Paul-bot" and "Kooky". Who needs an intellectual discussion when we can just sling mud, right? Well let's try it out, as this is my weekend.

What's it like being a fanatical Ron Paul hater? Obviously there is a lot of kool-aid in that haterade you little tools love. Does it make you feel bad for being a fascist sheep, willing to lap up every last drop of socialist welfare you can sacrifice your liberty for? Are you too far left/right to see straight with those Big Brother Mussolini eyes? Do you dream of a real Media, like Agitprop or something out of an Orwellian utopia? You know... War is Peace, Freedom is Slavery, Ignorance is Power!

Must be fun to blindly follow your "Decider" and do whatever he tells you, right? Let's mindlessly drool to McInsane singing, "Bomb, bomb, bomb... bomb, bomb, IRAN!" over and over again. Yeeeeeehaaaawwwwww! Love doesn't bring freedom to countries, our BOMBS do! Hahah! Good one, tools.

Are you a baby boomer or a naive college student? You know, the ones who need to be taken care with Social (in)Security or Socialist Student Aid? Funny how Ron Paul would make sure the "dependents" are taken care of, while letting the younger people get out. Oh how kooky! Omg... that is "quixotic!"

I love what this Neo-Con puppet (de)Penden(t). said about Ron Paul, how he doesn't support the troops! Hahaha! Wow... couldn't stop laughing from that gut blubbering vomit of mental surrender. The troops have given Ron Paul more money then the other candidates combined, but money doesn't talk for brainwashed, American Idol, Faux News watching sheeple, who think Freedom should be spread by the barrel of a gun.

Oh no, that's not all! Heaven forbid I say ANYTHING negative about Israel. That would automagically make me an anti-Semite! Right, sheeple? Who cares that WE give subsidies to Israel's pre/post enemies with around TWICE the amount of money then Israel itself, right? Dictator-tots? Who cares that Israel could wipe out all of the Arabs with their 300 something NUKES. Pfft... if anything, you're the anti-Semites cause you won't let her stand up on her own two feet! Israel kicked Egypt's tail, among other posteriors. Sadly, you ignorant apologists are just holding her down with welfare checks.

Personally, these fanatical anti-Paul stalkers are just fascist zombie sheep. They can't even be just sheep anymore as the grass they're grazing on has Iraqi blood all over the pasture, yet they are feeding hoof over fist! I bet they just LOVE Iranian children's brains! Must be good stuff, since America is the fattest country in the world!

Wow... that was kinda fun. I feel a little dirty, like a childish attention seeker who needs "hits" on his site to help prop up his welfare checks. Then again, I don't go around parroting the same thoughtless babble the Main Stream Media pajamasmediasmearDOTnazi fishes from.

Now I know why you guys do it at least -- sad, sad, sad.

I will tell you one thing, it sure takes more intelligence to debate issues, rather then act like a petulant little corporate peon, waiting for his handler to throw him a measly bone. Of course, in the Fox World, the sheeple love their handlers.

Dear Dr. Paul,
I just read another piece of pure drivel written about you. Please accept another $100.00 from my husband and myself. We would like to offer the money on behalf of Roger L. Simon. Poor misguided soul that he is.

Is this supposed to be a satire site? Anyway, 'The Corner' blog on the National Review quoted this from Paul's campaign manager:

"Peden is NOT leading Dr. Paul in this race. In fact, most voters still don't even know who Peden is. How do I know this? Because I am Ron Paul's campaign manager and I have personally overseen 4 different political surveys in district 14 in recent weeks. All 4 surveys have shown the same results: Ron Paul has a high favorable rating and high marks on his job approval. And if the election were held today, 60+ percent of the GOP voters say they would vote to reelect Ron Paul, while only 18-20% chose Peden. The remaining 20% or so say they are undecided or refuse to give an answer to these scientific and statistically accurate surveys."

Sounds a lot more convincing to me than this vague 43-32 nonsense. As others have noted, most of Peden's money comes from himself or his friends/family. He's very well connected in that regard, but that's about it. I highly doubt TX-14 is going to suddenly decide to vote against Paul this time around. It seems like some of the GOP leadership want Paul out of Congress and the presidential race, so that's why they're trotting out a hack opportunist like Peden.

As for the 'Paul is anti-Israel' comment... why should my tax dollars go to Israel, or ANY OTHER COUNTRY? I have no problem if YOU think that Israel needs our cash to solve their problems, but I would like to decide for myself what to do with the money. In addition, the idea that we should even be helping out other countries with foreign aid is insulting to those countries. Do you honestly believe that Israel can't defend herself with her 200-300 nuclear weapons? And you really think Iran (or any other country in the region) is seriously contemplating an attack knowing that Israel possesses a formidable nuclear arsenal? I've heard of crazy conspiracies, but the idea that the middle east would gang up and destroy Israel without us being there to defend them ranks pretty high up there.

"If Paden is such a joke, why are all the Paul sycophants waging such a verbal war against him? I smell fear."

Definition: A sycophant is a servile person who, acting in their own self interest, attempts to win favor by flattering one or more influential people, at the cost of their own personal pride, principles, and peer respect.

Well, I am acting in my own self-interest by supporting Ron Paul's candidacy for president. And there's everything right with that as such support upholds my own principles, values, and outlook.

My support for Ron Paul's candidacy is not an attempt to win favor through self-effacing flattery, but the best way to secure the right to enjoy life more fully -- by voting to downsize the bloated and intrusive federal government to constitutionally-authorized size.

Chris Peden is just another small impediment along the way in this process. IMHO Peden is just another body the entrenched Texas and National Republican party is trying to throw against the growing support for greater personal and economic freedom, locally and nationwide, to try and stave off its inevitable progress.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Texas and National Republican party held an open-call audition to find someone to throw up against Paul in Texas district 14.

I'd like to thank Pajamas Media by the way, for providing the online infrastructure with which to increase public awareness of Ron Paul's presidential candidacy. One of the greatest things to come out of Ron Paul's run for president so far is the growing awareness of how blatantly biased the MSM is. The Internet, which would remain uncensored and untaxed under a Paul presidency, is a great alternative news source.

If anyone is still undecided about who to vote for in their state primary or caucus, and also believes the federal government needs substantial downsizing, check out Ron Paul.

Also, phantom smells, such as the 'smell of fear,' may be caused by nasal polyps or damage to olfactory or taste nerves. Anyone else suffering from such should see an ear, nose, and throat doctor.

Good point Allison D!:

Where are the Peden supporters?

How about it, couldn't one of the many unidentified McCain supporters posting comments here actually stand up for Peden?

The shorter version...

Why is "Irhe papieren, bitte," more palatable to Republicans when spoken in English by a minimum wage TSA agent than when spoken in Arabic by a bearded Taliban? I guess it's not tyranny if your oppressors look like you, huh. Good Germans, indeed.

mwl, the so-called GWOT is illegal because the U.S. Constitution in no way allows for Congress to abdicate its power to declare war to the POTUS. It's illegal under international law and the Geneva conventions because, at least in Iraq, it is a War of Aggression, like when Hitler invaded Poland.

Having grown up in countries like Libya and Saudi Arabia (my father was a government contractor teaching English in both countries, and we knew Americans and Europeans there with oil concerns) I can say, the jizya is of little importance, since there is already a highly militarized occupying force here in the United States, in the form of the police. Living in the military dictatorship of Libya, I saw fewer armed soldiers and checkpoints and dogs and machine guns in Tripoli of the 70's, than I do at any professional sports game or airport in America. This place is a police state already. To serve and protect is right, they just serve and protect their corporate masters. You guys are wetting your pants about Muslims in caves and your reaction is to welcome tyranny at home just because it promises to protect you. You reject Hillary care (hey, me too), but then you gobble up Bush's bedtime stories about Al-Queda? Puh-lease!

Free trade that is fair and mutually profitable should not require military force to maintain. Piracy doesn't require the kind of military we have to suppress. Only neo-colonialism and economic imperialism require rattling sabres and parking carrier groups in the Straits of Hormuz.

Furthermore, I wont get in a pissing contest about who knows more about what, but it seems clear to me you have little if any experience outside the cozy confines of your American suburban lifestyle. And lastly I'm not a "leftie." I'm a libertarian. I'm pro free market, anti-state, anti-war and anti-welfare, especially for multi-national corporations.
