Imam Behind Ground Zero Mosque Silent About Malaysian Government’s Pro-Jihad Statements
Evidence continues to mount showing that the developer of the proposed mega-mosque at Ground Zero, Abdul Faisal Rauf, is untrustworthy at best, and possibly downright dangerous. The project would be called Cordoba House, named for a Spanish city conquered by the Moors which Muslims regard as a model for other communities.
Rauf’s political/religious vision is intimately connected with Malaysia, where he lived for ten years as a youngster and where he now owns a home and bases his policy-making organization, the Cordoba Initiative, which also has an office in Manhattan. Malaysian officials have come out with statements that are virulently anti-American and anti-Semitic, including explicit calls for jihad and suicide bombing. Rauf claims that he intends to build bridges between the West and Muslims, yet he has never made any public statement objecting to such incitement.
Previously unpublished English translations of sermons from Malaysia’s Department of Islamic Development reveal potentially lethal levels of hostility towards the West that appear to have gone unnoticed. The Department of Islamic Development cannot be dismissed as some renegade fringe group. It is an official and intrinsic part of the Malaysian government, similar in function to the Department of Health and Human Services in the United States. On its website, the Department defines itself thusly: “Department of Islamic Development Malaysia (JAKIM) is a Malaysian Government institution which has a vision to assist in the creation of a progressive and morally upright ummah based on Islamic principles in line with the Malaysian vision through an efficient and effective Islamic Affairs Management organisation.” JAKIM is an acronym for Jabatan Kemajuan Islam Malaysia.
Every Friday, the Muslim holy day, sermons (khutbahs) are given in mosques. During Israel’s Cast Lead operation in January 2009, when Israel entered Gaza to stop being bombarded with rockets, the khutbahs of Malaysia’s Department of Islamic Development became warlike.
On January 9, 2009, the khutbah denounced Israel as “evil” and a call was made to use the Malaysian Ministry of Foreign Affairs to channel financial assistance to the Palestinians. A boycott was demanded of all goods and services connected with both Israel and America. Countries that are part of the Organization of the Islamic Conference and all other Muslims were urged to stop using the American dollar as currency.

On January 16, 2009, military plans were further consolidated. There was a call to “strengthen strategic planning in the defense system of Islamic countries” and to stop allowing foreign military bases to be built in Islamic countries on the grounds that they are used for spying.

On January 2, 2009, we have the most alarming khutbah of the three given here. The unnamed imam proclaimed his support for Hamas and Hezbollah, demanded a boycott of any goods associated with all Jews (not just Israelis), and called for jihad and suicide bombing, or “bind(ing) the stomach” in the manner of the “fatwa [of] Sheikh Yusof Al-Qaradawi.
By using the word “fatwa,“ the imam gives moral authority to his call for jihad and suicide bombing. Sheikh Qaradawi is a Muslim Brotherhood ideologue based in Qatar who has made himself very popular throughout the Muslim world by constantly calling for “martyrdom operations” against Israelis. Qaradawi even expresses admiration for Adolf Hitler and hopes that Jews will be “punished” with another Holocaust. He has stated: “Throughout history, Allah has imposed upon the [Jews] people who would punish them for their corruption.The last punishment was carried out by Hitler. By means of all the things he did to them — even though they exaggerated this issue — he managed to put them in their place. This was divine punishment for them. Allah willing, the next time will be at the hand of the believers.” (Translated by MEMRI).
What could be more hateful than to call for another Holocaust against Jews, assume that Jews deserved a Holocaust because they were guilty of something or other, and say that Jews “exaggerate” what was done to them, implying they are lying to manipulate public opinion? And what was “peacemaker” Rauf’s response? Nothing. He was silent.
Similarly, what was Rauf’s response to the khutbahs that called for a state of war against American interests? Nothing.
It is very hard to conceive of Rauf not knowing about these pronouncements. They were up on the JAKIM website, and as previously stated, JAKIM is an official department of the Malaysian government.

All infidels especially those working in the media need to understand the concept of taqiyya. Taqiyya is an Arabic word roughly translated meaning snow-job when talking to infidels about Islam. It is an officially sanctioned Islamic practice of lying and deception to gain the confidence of unsuspecting infidels. It resembles the parable that goes “come into my parlor said the spider to the fly.” Imam Rauf is an expert practitioner of taqiyya. When giving his sales pitch the one thing that he and others like him fear the most is that the audience will recognize taqiyya when they hear it. The only way an infidel can recognize taqiyya is to gain a reasonably good working knowledge of the true nature of Islam.
I am not surprised by these revelations. Every mosque imam throughout the world teaches Muslims on every Friday to hate all non-Muslims and wage jihad against us until this earth is devoid of all kafirs. Any imam worth his weight in salt won’t go against these Quranic teachings and this Rauf guy is no exception. No Muslim or any imam should be ever trusted when they try to convince us that they mean no harm and want to improve relations with other religions. That has never ever happened in past or present and won’t happen in future.

Presently you are mentioning the case of the Ground zero mosque and all the riks it will bring with. But what about all the ethnical miinorities living in Malaysia as malaysian natives, christians, hindus, bouddhists… who are watching their temples, their churches, their schools, their charity institutions, being systematicaly stolen, burned and demolished and the malaysian government does not interfere to stop these criminal actions. They went so far that they forbid through a court appeal, the use of the word Allah that they consider as a proprieti of the Islam. If they only know tjat their Muhammad is born as a christian, in a christian family, from christian vater and mother and the islam is not other as a heresy in the christanity. He died in an accident and his body was snatched by Malaysian authorities from the family for burial as a Muslim instead of cremation which is normal for Hindus. I was in a contract work for 2 years there.. all i did was got drunk every weekend and picking up local chinese and malay girls.. didnt see any islamic cops or saudi style inquisitions chasing me at all. I have Malay Muslim friends who drinks in the club since he did it without authority knowing it. Is a violation for Muslim to consume alchohol or pork( Is known as Khalwat). Have you ever heard the news that muslim woman from Malaysia got caught for consuming alchohol and the shariah court sentence her to flogging but the sentence was overturn due to Malaysian pols trying to save their image since they describe Malaysia as moderate Islamic State.
If you ever get caught for dating a muslim women and they let you bypass the punishment is all owing to the reason that Malaysian authority is trying to save their internatioanl image from label as radical Islam. I wonder if these guys have really thought through the implications of building a mosque at ground zero. Not every New Yorker is going to be perfectly pleased with the outcome. Think of the equivalent: building a large cathedral in the middle of Mecca. How do you suppose the people there would react? What consequences would follow?
Non-muslims are not even allowed to ENTER Mecca, let alone build things there. A British Orientalist (expert specializing in Oriental cultures) named Sir Richard Burton – no relation to the actor as far as I know – visited Mecca in 1853. He donned a disguise and took on the persona of a Pasthu-speaking Afghan to make himself look authentic. He even had himself circumsized (as an adult of course!) to ensure that any visual inspection would not cast doubt on his Muslim-ness. He felt that these steps were essential so that he could enter Mecca safely.
In one passage in his book about the experience, he writes of being interrogated by an official who had suspicions that he was not what he seemed to be: “… He officially inquired my name, nation and other particulars. The replies were satisfactory… I will not deny that, looking at the windowless walls, the officials at the doors, and a crowd of excited fanatics below – ‘And the place of death, considering who I was’ – my feelings were of the trapped-rat description… A blunder, a hasty action, a misjudged word, a prayer or bow, not strictly the right shibboleth, and my bones would have whitened the desert sand.” In short, if even a single misstep had convinced the interrogators that he was not a Muslim, he would have been killed.
Now, Burton made his visit to Mecca in 1853 and you might think that things have changed since then. After all, things have changed enormously in our society since 1853. Well, don’t bet that Mecca has opened itself up to non-Muslims. One of my oldest friends is an engineer and his firm was contracted to do some consulting in Mecca for an important building there. His firm was forced to send only Muslim engineers to do the on-site work. I don’t recall now if they even had any fulltime employees that were Muslim who they could send or if they had to hire one or more people to do this project but it was most definitely NOT an option for them to send non-Muslims to do this work.
The idea of building a CHURCH in Mecca is completely out of the question as things stand today.
Isn’t the Temple Mount (Dome of the rock) built on top of the most sacred place of the Jews, Solomon’s Temple? Do not the Muslims tend to do these things when they conquer? Is not Ground Zero,a sacred place for all Americans? Now we are going to see a Mosque on top of our sacred place. Wake up America.
Yes, loveamerica, Muslims have done this, i.e., building mosques on the sacred places of the lands they have invaded. al Aqsa mossque built over the Temple Mount is a classic example. Some others are Sofia Hagia mosque in Turkey was the famous cathedral of Byzantine Empire, Babri masjid in Ayodhya in India was a Hindu temple built at the birth place of Lord Rama. In addition Muslim invaders in India built mosques right adjacent to three other sacred temples for Hindus, Lord Krishna birthplace temple in Mathura, Lord Vishvanath temple in Varanasi, Somnath Temple in Gujrat(this temple was razed by Muslims six or seven times. Additionally thousands of other Hindu temples were destroyed or converted to mosques outright. Even today if the outer facade of these mosque walls is removed, one can see the archeology of the existing Hindu temples.
So this is a norm for Muslims. Wherever they attack and succeed, they want to build a mosque to remind them of their success. I hope this monstrosity is never built on Ground Zero!!

Just to be fair, it is my understanding that this mosque is supposed to be built ACROSS THE STREET from Ground Zero, not right ON Ground Zero.
I’m not sure if that makes anyone feel any better but there is at least a small difference between builing on top of something and building beside it….
The proposed mosque is 2 blocks from Ground Zero but the building (previously the Burlington Coat Factory) was damaged in the 9/11 attack and still has a large piece of the landing gear from one of the planes embedded in it. The building was sold in 2009 to Soho Properties, the Cordoba Initiative is one of the investors of that company. It has been used as a mosque since then. No doubt that piece of the plane is significant to the muslims and is why they want to build the mosque there – I wonder where they are intending to put it if the new mosque is built?
Another kick in teeth is that the date of opening was scheduled for September 11, 2011.

It’s good to see Pajamas Media finally paying attention to the intense levels of Islamic hatred emanating from this country. I have been writing about this for years at my own site. The Gaza ‘aid’ flotilla, which happened in 2010, not 2009, got an enormous amount of press here in the government-run media here in Malaysia…media that is licensed and in truth essentially owned by the Malaysian government. They took the opportunity to demonise Israel and laud the jihadists on the flotilla itself at every opportunity. The nine Malaysians who themselves were onboard the flotilla, and are lionised as national heroes, were greeted upon their arrival here in KL by no less than the Malaysian Prime Minister himself (Najib).
Najib’s country, his government, clerics, media and educational arms clamor and shriek for another holocaust, for the wholesale removal if not slaughter of Jews. And the kufr, dhimmified world turns a deaf ear and a blind eye.
Malaysia, lest we forget, is also the home of some of Southeast Asia’s most dangerous and lethal terrorists, such as Noordin Top and Azahari Husin. These men who both at one time taught at government-run universities were behind the Bali bombings and a number of other deadly attacks on infidels in Indonesia. After these monsters finally reached room temperature, the bodies were shipped to their homeland of Malaysia for a hero’s sendoff before huge fawning crowds, their Malaysian families intensely proud of their relative’s deeds.

You are 100% right with your article about Jakim. This department is an evil department within the goverment that aims to destroy the very fabric of Malaysian society. Here , temples are demolished with the help of police, Indian youth are arrested and killed in police lock up, Systematically denied scholarships and places in higher instituition, forced conversion of orphaned hindu/christian children. The list goes on. The current UMNO goverment is the perpetrator and America must help to get rid of them. I dont believe Islam is a peaseful religion. Before writing, read the brilliant Syed Akbar Ali who has said it all. One of his books is Islam and the Club of Doom. The only bee in his bonnet is his sycophancy towards Mathathir.
I’ve read the book. The thesis for it can be aptly summed up as ‘Islam is not to blame for Islamic countries being so primitive, retrograde and backwards.’ The (Muslim) author of ‘Club of Doom’ has no proof of this assertion, but instead only repeats this mantra over and over throughout the text, as if this thesis itself should be taken solely on faith. Colour me unconvinced–Islam is precisely to blame for the lower quality of life in the countries where the majority are held under its sway.
If common sense were to prevail the mosque should be disallowed to be built especially so when it’s intended site is at ground zero.

The term “Muslim” simply means “believer” in arabic and has been around long before Muhammad came along. Currently, it is sad that they who call themselves believers have been grossly overtaken by ego and zeal, and complete ignorance of one of the fundamental principles of monotheism: The belief that only God guides whom He wills and only He knows who has been guided.
It is shockingly simple, but the reality is that there wasnt an “Islamic” empire in the middle east. There was an empire. They spread doctrine and sectarian teachings, brainwashing each generation as they went along. Those sectarian, indoctrinated zealots created what is now termed the “Islamic” empire that some people nowadays (usually deluded deprived marginalized poor people) glorify to feel good about themselves.
God/Allah/Yahweh/Jehovah/Elohim (semantics. Im typing in english so i use the term God) knows who the believers (arabic: muslims) are. Not these religionists who stand against what America is all about. I say kick them out. Accept religious freedom or get expelled. “Islamists” and “Muslims” in today’s society are promoting the proselytism of children and think they have the God given right to know who are the believers. Such ego, hatred, and us-vs-them mentality does good for no society.
Islam is not something you learn from your parents, it’s not something you can convert into, it is not something that anyone can judge you for save God. The Islamists are deluded and are paying the price of their ego and self-righteousness. They divide the world into believers and unbelievers/infidels (arabic: kafir).
To the Islamists out there:
1) Only god guides whom he wills; only God leaves people astray; Only God knows who the believers are.
2) You are nobody.
3) You change nothing.
There is no such thing as a “moderate Islam”. Islam is Islam. Islam according to all mainstream doctrines/sects will never inline with basic human values for the basic principle in monotheism highlighted above simply doesn’t exist. Islamists actually believe that they can “convert” people – by which they mean indoctrinate people into accepting their view of the world. God guiding people? Well that is not guidance…it’s indoctrination.
Islam is ultimately very humanitarian and libertarian if defined by the principles stipulated in the Quran. However, you must understand that those who call themselves “muslim” dont only follow the Quran – they follow 300+ year old oral history as well. This is where all your stoning and veiling and whatnot comes from. Different “muslims” (eg sunni vs shia) have different collections of oral history and that’s why they are always fighting and can never reconcile. They will never stop believing in these oral history, myth, legend and lies for the simple reason that without it, Islam as a “religion”/doctrine doesnt exist.
The world of the people who call themselves “believers” (arabic: muslim) is in the dark ages.

Mahatir Mohammed is a half Indian – a mamak. He is popular with the muslim extremist through his years oppresing the non-muslim minority in Malaysia. Recently he launched Perkasa and extreme right wing organisation promoting the continuation of mamak’s oppression of the non-muslim.
Last year after a Malaysian Judge ruled that Christians can use the word Allah in the church publications meant for Christians, Mahatir Mohammed and the Malaysian Government UMNO party (United Malay National Organisation)rallied to condemn the church for taking the case to court. They raised the racial and religious tension in Malaysia leading to the arson and attempted arson of 11 churches.
When an Indian Temple was proposed to be relocated to an area with a slight Muslim majority, Muslim extremists with links to UMNO took to the street draging a severed cowhead and stomping on it – an act to provoke the feelings of Hindus for whom the cow is a sacred animal.
In contrast to the extremists in UMNO, PAS which is an Islamic party in the Malaysian Opposition Pact (Pakartan Rakyat)came out in support that Christians should be allowed to use the word “Allah” and roundly condemned the cowhead incident.
UMNO is politicising its extremist policies to stay in power. The French Judicial Inquiry into corruption in the purchase of the French Scorpion submarine by the Malaysian government has the current Prime Minister Najib Razak mentioned prominently by witnesses. The saga is also linked to the murder of a Mongolian Model who was in Malaysia to demand her share of the kick-back. She was shot and blown up with C4 explosives and the Malaysian Military are the only source of C4 in Malaysia. Najib’s sidekick Baginda was acquitted without his defence called and 2 lowly ranked policeman were found guilty by the court comical proceedings which will fail the basic standards of judicial procedings of every civilised nation in the World. Records of the mongolian model into Malaysia was totally erased, the father of the model alleged he handed photographs showing Najib Razak, Baginda and the model in Paris to the Malaysian police – these photographic evidences dissapeared without a trace.
There you have it.
America should tell her muslims that if they can’t integrate peacefully into American society they should pack and leave for their original homeland and not another prosperous non-muslim country. For local American-born muslims,emigrate to another muslim nation that they admire.
Don’t be conned by their sweet talk. Muslims generally have nothing much that one can look up to,only a problem to everyone.
Muslims have history where during a period of weakness they made peace. After the lull to stregthen themselves, they broke their promises to conquer others. It is allowed under their concept of an inferior peace afterall the kafirs are mere firewood for the fire of hell.

Much of what was said about JAKIM sounds about right. Some fundamentalist Muslim factions in Malaysia tend to be fanatical and this is a disastrous side-effect of Dr Mahathir’s cynical attempt in the early 1980s to create his own Islamic power base against the oppositionist Islamic party (PAS) which in recent years has matured into a far more moderate and open-minded political entity. Meanwhile, Dr Mahathir’s UMNO party (a racist rightwing feudalistic and elitist cabal similar in many ways to the Saudis) has deliberately bred a vocal conservative Islamic faction to scare the non-Muslims into subservience. However, it is important to bear in mind that Muslim extremists are profoundly despised and loathed by a vast majority of sane Malaysians who favor a secular government. The obnoxious Muslim fanatics with Ayatollah-like political ambitions actually number no more than a few thousand in a total population of 28 million – so please do not assume they represent Malaysia. They are in truth a Frankenstein’s Monster created by the ruling party UMNO. When UMNO goes, so will these clamorous opportunists who use religion as a ticket to power.
The Pan Malaysia Islamic Party (PAS) is not a moderate entity as some might believe. PAS is directly belligerent when it comes to addressing Israeli-palestinian conflict, while UMNO is more likely to play shellgames. Nevertheless both organizations anti-semitic and anti-american and their goal in the middle east has always been destruction of Israel and establishing the Islamic State of Palestine. And Remember PAS was once a member of National Front Coalition(Barisan Nasional) until 1978. And collating PAS and UMNO is like collating the different flavor of doughnuts.
All Malays should forget about Palestinian assholes and the “Zionist Conspiracy” and such.
They lack the IQ to process math science and English. Their graduates from MARA, and UKM etc. are incapable of diagnosing patients correctly or building bridges that will not collapse. KUALA LUMPUR – One of the country’s most wanted terror suspects who is allegedly involved in recruiting university students for Jemaah Islamiah (JI) has been detained under the Internal Security Act.
Mohamad Fadzullah Abbul Razak, who graduated from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) in Skudai, Johor, in 2005, was arrested by police officers from the Special Task Force (Operations and Counter Terrorism) Department on Thursday.
It is learnt that the 28-year-old engineer, whom the task force had been hunting since 2007, had just returned from Thailand when he was arrested by the officers at a house in Keramat here.

Muslims in Malaysia are allowed to insult other religions. The imams at mosques throughout Malaysia will scream and shout during the Friday prayer sermons nasty things about non-Muslims.
Kafir (non-Muslims) are sahabat Shaitan (comrades of Satan), are najis (filth), are enemies of Islam, must not be aped, cannot be trusted, are out to defeat Muslims, have a secret plan to destroy Islam, and so on and so forth.
In short, non-Muslims or Kafir are bad, bad, bad and doomed to spend eternity in hell. Muslims must dress differently, talk differently, act differently and think differently from the Kafir. Muslims must never try to ape or copy the non-Muslims or else we too would become just like the Kafir.
Yes, this is basically what Muslims all over Malaysia are told during the Friday prayer sermons. No imam may write and read his own sermon for, doing so, would mean be would be sacked and replaced by another imam.

America’s Enemy Within
Precisely who originated the term “the enemy within” is unclear. It has now become fairly commonplace in our vernacular and has been referred to in a religious context, as partial titles of some books such as Michael Savage’s, even used as a title episode in “Star Trek.”
With reference to America’s internal, domestic enemies, “the enemy within” is at once a very simple and complex term which has in the past referred to the Communist menace but has evolved of late to mean the religion of Islam or, to be PC, radical Islamic elements.
America has any number of enemies, both outside our borders and within, nations, people, and forces who despise us for one reason or other and who passively or actively work to undermine our values, national security, our very existence as a nation.
Communism is not quite dead since it lives and breathes in China, North Korea, and Cuba and a former KGB head Vladimir Putin rules the former U.S.S.R. with figurehead, Dmitry Medvedev. However, despite the natural inclinations of Communist despots to bluster threateningly, the Red Menace can’t be considered a viable threat.

Far and away the most visible and serious external enemy America has today, as well as our most dedicated and dangerous enemy within, is extreme, radical Islam which is probably the most insidious domestic collection of foes we have ever encountered.
They are not traitors in the sense of France’s Vichy government . . .

I am a Canadian, an Albertan, and I would say that the majority of us are against a Mosque at ground zero. If I were a New Yorker I would be against the building of any mosque in New York City let alone one at ground zero. All it will be is a monument to Islam’s greatest Jihadist accomplishment in America. If they succeed with the building of the mosque, what would be next? A mosque in Pennsylvania and the Pentagon.
I encourage all Americans to continue standing against this mosque, or, the fight will be harder to win later. If not impossible.
