If you inflame the voices of oppressed peoples, particularly Palestinians, your immediate reaction should never be to blame the powerless but rather reflect on your own behavior and how it might be complicit in the domination and suppression of a marginalized group. But that's preposterous because YOU, an enlightened middle aged white lady, was nice to her black servants and therefore is totally and utterly precluded from possibly being ignorant or offensive. This is the disease of the middle aged liberal white lady, and you have a classic case. This is classic white liberal behavior.

I am an African American female who does not find pleasure in calling anyone a racist unless I have something that I find to be in regards to my race. I do not believe (like many Caucasians have stated) that the word has lost it's meaning or affect. If that is the case then why is there always an argument. It's not about what anyone's ancestors did or had to go through. It is about how people are being treated now. And I agree with one of your followers it is about fear. African Americans are no longer afraid of ropes or burning wood. We realize where the hatred comes from, and believe it or not, it is being controlled by a higher being. Whether you are religious or not, everyone knows that Satan loves evil, hate, and division. It is his best way to gain control, and distract people from serving God as they should. Some minorities are just tired of the fight. Not everything is shown on television. Some of the battles are fought quietly everyday, and with no one there to view it. It will never end, and the words will continue. Though if you know and feel in your heart that you are a peaceful and just person then there is not anyone who can tell you what you are.
