I also am not sure why Obama chose her. She was every kind of rude to him during the campaign. She'd have to out flank a sitting President in the Primaries and defeat a populist Republican in the general election (assuming we aren't completely stupid again). And not just a populist, but one that is either 1. Familiar with the ins and outs of her political machine and how to beat it, 2. A woman who is much more palatable than her, or 3. A young, minority governor who has turned around an incompetent state. Furthermore, not only are the Republicans likely to nominate either Huckabee, Palin, or Jindal in 2012, but another of them is likely going to be the VP nominee.
