I keep hearing various political pundits suggesting that by the time Hillary and Barack finish beating up on each other they’ll both be so bloodied and mud-splattered that Al Gore will be poised to ride in like a knight in shiny armor and capture his party’s nomination. I must admit it sounds pretty far-fetched. Frankly, the only thing that makes me think the pundits might be right this time around is that Al Gore is on record as stating that he absolutely, positively, has no intention of ever again running for president.

Like every other person who has sought the office, Gore would have to pretend that he doesn’t really want to be the most powerful man on earth. He would have to try to convince us that it’s only for our own good and for the good of the planet, of course, that he would make this ultimate sacrifice. The remarkable thing is that he would be able to convince over 50 million people that he was sincere. After all, if 52 million Americans were willing to cast their votes for the horse-faced hypocrite, John Kerry, it would be foolish to think that a like number wouldn’t troop out next November to vote for the man who’s warned us all that Topeka, Kansas, will very soon be an ocean-front community.

I honestly don’t understand why liberals are always so anxious to settle for the likes of Obama, Edwards, Clinton and Gore. After all, what do they offer us? John Edwards has pretty much promised that no working man will ever lose his job. All that means is that 25 million of us will be flipping burgers if he’s elected. Obama has vowed to bring us all together, although he hasn’t explained how he’ll pull off that trick, seeing how far apart we are when it comes to abortion, capital punishment, the war in Iraq, same-sex marriage, raising taxes, gun ownership, Iran’s nuclear plans, school vouchers, the Palestinians, Supreme Court appointments, Islamic terrorism and whether Brad Pitt was right to leave Jennifer for Angelina.

For her part, Hillary offers us universal health care, a chicken in every pot and four more years of Bill back in the White House chasing chicks.

It seems to me that if the Democrats were really smart, they’d forget about running any of these second-raters and, instead, run the man who best represents everything the left-wingers stand for. And, no, I certainly don’t mean George Soros, the fellow who taught me to hate capitalism through his own example. I just figured that any economic system that allowed a person who’s never produced a product or created a darn thing to somehow accumulate four billion dollars must have something basically wrong with it.

The fellow I have in mind is none other than Santa Claus.

Old Saint Nick goes around bestowing gifts on those who haven’t worked for them, just like the Democrats, who do the same for the chronically unemployed and illegal aliens. And just as the little people do all the heavy lifting for Santa, the Democrats have their own set of elves; namely the middle-class taxpayers. Furthermore, Santa is obviously a liberal. Even though he, himself, only works one day a year, he thinks he’s entitled to decide who’s naughty and who’s nice.

“Al Gore is on record as stating that he absolutely, positively, has no intention of ever again running for president”

Really? Please tell me when he said this? I have read and listened to EVERY word this guy has said EVER on running for POUS. All he has ever said is that he “has no plans to run”, “does not expect to be a candidate again” snd “will not rule it out”. Go check out his his response at his nobel acceptence interview on youtube two weeks ago.

“I have no plans to run” is not the same as “I will not run”. Gore continues to refuse to give the Sherman statement. I have given up trying to work out how Gore will enter the race, but even Donna Brazille has warned us to expect a brokered DNC. One thing I am sure about is that come one year from now Gore will be the next President. Watch this space.

Really? It must still be possible if someone is even spreading these kind of lies. As a matter of fact, besides all his other comments about, he “may reenter politics” and “none of the candidates are talking about the climate crisis issue as they should”. And that he “would love to be President”. He recently in his Time interview said.

    “Might there come a

time when the opportunity appears to make more headway and bring about

more progress as a candidate? I doubt it, but maybe. I’m open to the

    possibility emerging.ÔøΩ”

    Time for

    a COOL

    change,

    GORE

“Al Gore is on record as stating that he absolutely, positively, has no intention of ever again running for president.”

Excuse me? Cite the source or get off the pot. (No, “The South Succotash Gazette has reported that…” doesn’t cut it.) Despite the incessant tom-tom repetitions, this is just as big a lie as ever.

Its very obvious that this article is based on hate for anyone who is not educated or who may be in the lower economic status.Let get back to the bashing of anyone who is not republican or not pro capitalist. The problem is that the majority of americans including the racist white republican and some democrates voted for W. george bush who has lived off the federal government and are still taking tax payers money and continues defrauding the country.Everytime we get a republican president we have massive debt. My question is why is that and what is the problem with giving to those who are on the lower end the economic ladder.

PS. everyone is throwing money to keep the economy from going under, but where is this money coming from. Oh I know , its call stealing from the american tax payers.

    To Joe and Linda
From your mouth to G-d’s ears!!!
How refreshing it would be to have a president who, whether or not you agree with him, could articulate his message and have a shot at motivating a majority of Americans to again be the best that we can be.
Al Gore is the man for this time in our country’s history.
I don’t fully subscribe to all I hear about global warming. But I have NO doubt that the people of our country will have in Al Gore the kind of president who will restore our nation’s standing in the world, which has been so damaged by currant policies.
ANY policy, by the way, which could have a positve impact on global warming, will in fact, help wean us off our dependency on foreign oil and help our national security!
President Gore will show us the way!

  6. “…and whether Brad Pitt was right to leave Jennifer for Angelina.”

This is indeed the issue that truly divides America. I think it justifies a civil war with lots of blood flowing into the streets. Angelina should be forced to move to France. A world war may even be the only way to ultimately resolve the issue. Brad Pitt must do the right thing and return to Jennifer.

  7. Don’t you think that, regardless of whether or not Gore said definitively that he will not run, that as a practical matter it’s probably too late to enter the race? He has no organization in any states and is probably past the deadline in most. I think the only thing he could hope for now is a run as an independent or a brokered Democratic convention.

Harkens back to a previous article which purported to offer the ideal Democratic candidate…One that was populist and progressive, working-class minded, that would enact great reforms for working people. He would seek to folow a “middle-way” between Communism and capitalism, would respect privtae property but use the state to enact and enforce many reforms. He was pro-abortion, vegetarian, and inclined to non-traditional religion. He sought regulation of the churches and the use of academic institutions to create a new, higher evolved type of citizen. he would favor a pro-Arab foreign policy and thought the Jews were way too influential.

    His name is Adolf Hitler.
