Hillary Supporters Are Mad and They’re Not Going to Take It Anymore!
If further evidence was needed, a report by Politico’s Ben Smith confirmed that all is not well within the Democratic Party. It seems that Democratic supporters of Hillary Clinton are attempting to secure her right to a roll call at the Convention by emailing members of the DNC. The hostile and sometimes threatening emails these Democrats have received back from DNC officials have been posted at the blog of Puma PAC.
And they are not alone in feeling the wrath of the Obama contingent. Susan Estrich, life long Democrat and former Michael Dukakis campaign manager, described the vicious hate mail she received when she warned in a recent column of the “hubris” phenomenon in the Obama camp.
As for the Puma PAC, this is a group founded by former Hillary Clinton supporters who declare as their goals:
- support Clinton “throughout this election cycle”
- lobby and organize for changes in leadership in the DNC
- critique and oppose the misogyny, discrimination, and disinformation in the mainstream media, including mainstream blogs and other outlets of new media
- support the efforts of those political figures who have allied themselves with Hillary Clinton and who have demonstrated commitment to our first three goals.
I spoke with the founder of Puma PAC, Darragh Murphy. She’s not, as Obama supporters have claimed, a closet Republican or a John McCain plant. She’s a 39-year-old, mother of three from Massachusetts who was a small Hillary Clinton donor and who knocked on doors for Hillary in Philadelphia with her then 16-year-old daughter. She acknowledges that she did give money to John McCain in the 2000 primary because she “wanted him to beat George Bush.”
She started the blog on June 3, 2008 and got 35,000 hits in eight hours, As of now she has had over 1.2 million hits and 65,500 comments. The PAC raised $23,000 in June and she estimates an equal number in July. The PAC has approximately 5000 members.
What does her group want? She replies: “We have short term goals and long term goals. Our short, short term goal is to do everything we can to make sure the process is respected for Hillary at the Convention.” Murphy explained that just as Gary Hart and Jesse Jackson had the chance, they are making sure Hillary’s supporters get a chance to show their support. She says, “We are phoning and emailing and lobbying to make sure there is an open roll call and vote and her name is placed in nomination.”
One of Murphy’s members, William Kronert, is a Democrat from California. He tells me, “Never in the entire history have any two candidates come to what amounts to a tie in the primaries yet Senator Clinton has been ask over and over to drop out of the race. Surely others have taken their case to the convention and with far less pledged delegates as Senator Clinton.”
Murphy also believes that Hillary’s delegates need to “get a chance to shape the platform. They are being shut out of the process which is run by an official of the Obama campaign.”
On this score, Estrich confirms that the Obama team is playing hardball with supporters of his former rival. She confides:
There are stories kicking around about how African-Americans in at least two states (South Carolina and New York itself) who supported Hillary Clinton ended up with primary opponents in their own races for re-election to punish them for being pro-Clinton. This is not the way to win. There are stories kicking around that the reason (or one of them) that the highly effective Hillraisers are not raising the kind of money for Obama that they raised for Clinton is because they have been told that no matter what they do, they will never be the “equal” of the Obama fundraisers.
And what will the Puma members do after the Convention? Murphy concedes, “We’re realists. … We know the DNC is committed to the path of nominating their chosen candidate.” In November she explains, “We are protesting the election.” Members will sit home, write in Hillary’s name or vote for John McCain. She explains, “That up to them. That’s part of our whole philosophy.”
Kronert says that he won’t be voting for Obama and thinks “Obama is running his campaign on the ‘Change, Hope, a new kind of Politics’ marketing gimmick.” He also is one voter who thinks experience matters (“Obama is a two year senator with one year of that being on the campaign trail.”)
Shanon from Maryland, another Puma member who donated to Hillary and voted Democratic in five straight past elections won’t vote for Obama, listing his lack of experience, qualifications and track record among her concerns. She says, “I will vote McCain, third-party, stay home or write Hillary Clinton in. At this point, Ichabod Crane is looking better than the choices I have. But make no mistake, I have a choice.” Eli, a self-described “Clinton Democrat” from Massachusetts, says he’s not voting for Obama because “Quite simply, he is not qualified.”
Particularly galling to Murphy’s members is the treatment of the Florida and Michigan Democratic primary votes and the conduct of caucuses in Iowa, Texas and Nevada. As for the disputed primaries, Murphy explains, “You expect your vote will be counted. You expect your vote will matter.” And in the caucuses, she contends there are ample instances (documented in the case of Texas caucus for the Dallas election office) of “astonishing” instances of chaos, fraud and intimidation.

The more I learn about Obama, the more comfortable I am choosing McCain. Not that it was a real tough choice to begin with.
jvon — Doesn’t sound like you have any sort of core beliefs or political philosophy to begin with, so — yeah — go ahead and vote your “comfort zone.”
This, folks, is a prime example of why I’ve never bought the hype, not only of Obama, but of the Dems emerging as any kind of long-term majority in Congress. When push comes to shove, the Dems, in their own way, are every bit as dysfunctional as the GOP.
Interesting–sort of–article but the bottom line is that ALL the Donks are scary and delusional. Anyone who would want a Clinton in the White House is every bit as anti-American, anti-Military and Marxist as one of BO’s pod people.
I suppose that Obama and Team Axelrod will say that they are giving Hillary the ultimate homage by slowly conceeding that all the crap Obama and his handlers said was just for show in the primaries. And that the Obama Campaign will now re-image to run in the General Election as Hillary would have done had she not been defeated for “failing to see the New Direction” that the “Man With Perfect Judgment” did.
That should make the racist “let’s finish the job in Iraq” Hillary, her racist reactionary husband, and her bitter racist white menial job-holding supporters feel better about Barack and Team Axelrod.
“Hey, Hillary! In the end all we said was crap to get the primary voters, now we openly say all your positions were right. Sorry you lost! No sit down, shut up, and be a good little girl…and we will excuse your side’s racism and causing US soldier deaths…”
Fun to watch the Hillary supporters get the treatment moderates and conservatives have been getting from the left of the Democratic party for years. Some folks can dish it out but they sure can’t take it.
The Dem Party is really becoming the joke of the year. These people can’t even get it together within their party. How in the world could any one vote either one of them in?? But this is just what I expected from Hillary, and it comes later than I thought.
A vote for Ohama is clearly suicide for our nation on all counts. He wants change okay, the kind of change that I’m sure even the people that want him elected will be sadly surprised by, and then it will be too late.
A vote for Obama means Death of Our Nation!!!!!
I don’t think anyone should be surprised that Democrats who are uncomfortable with Barack Obama are being treated badly by the Obama supporters. Simply put, the PUMA PAC folks are heretics. They should know the truth, but they follow the false prophet Hillary. Personally, I think Hillary Clinton is not much of a Senator and would be a bad President. I think her talk of experience was overstated. Having said that, I certainly understand why her supporters are not happy. I sympathize with Hillary Clinton supporters who feel like the rules are being changed. The Democratic Party created a nominating process that I would describe as whacky. As I understand it, one of the justifications for proportional delegate assignment and super-delegates was to prevent an un-electable candidate from getting an overwhelming delegate lead way before the convention. Well, Obama doesn’t have an overwhelming delegate lead, but he may be un-electable. If I were a Hillary Clinton supporter, I would certainly feel like the nomination process is being stopped prematurely.
Hey Red Wang – looks like you’re just a sociopathic little troll again. Either say something meaningful, or get off. Your Obama-Osama fanboy antics aren’t welcome here. You have never once, in any comment you’ve made, put up anything that shows why Obama is better, or that he even has the base qualifications for the job.
Glenn,
For you it may be fun, but for us it isn’t. And it isn’t going to be much fun for Howard, his brother Jeff, sweetie cheat on you Brazile, silly Nancy, and that genius at political propaganda Axelrod either.
Oh and I forgot to mention that delightful Michelle, her charming husband Barack, and his backers Soros, Rezko and Brzezinski, are laughing all the way to the Bank.
And YES we sure CAN’T take it.
PUMA08
Jennifer Rubin has done it again. Vital news here – with red flags all over it.
Democrats must come together to make sure this narcissist and his thugs go down in defeat. At the convention, if possible. Not likely, I’m sure. So we all have to work our tails off to be sure there’s not the slightest chance he’ll get elected in November. Don’t think he won’t use the lowest of tactics. Thuggery doesn’t end when more power is achieved.
He’s a tyrant in the making. You don’t give guys like this one inch.
“Fraud and intimidation.” This is the change we can expect. He will destroy America. The treatment of Hillary should alert us all to how dangerous he can become. He will try to win you back. But you canNOT believe a thing he says or does. He’s completely untrustworthy.
Send him and his thugs the strongest of messages that we won’t allow anything this ugly in America. We won’t tolerate evil. We’ll destroy it with his crushing defeat.
The “free beer and brats” rumor that Darragh Murphy is peddling in this article is a fallacy. I debunked it here:
http://www.rumproast.com/index.php/site/comments/barack_obama_lures_people_to_his_berlin_speech_with_free_beer_and_food_not/
there is tons of evidence and several articles that state “Obama will not be punked”, in other words, payback is a b**ch. Just ask the guy who wrote the “New Yorker” article who got thrown off the campaign plane. Obama is a girly man who isn’t able to man up and take a hit with grace and good humor.
I think he already has an “Enemies List” and he is just waiting to use it. Maybe enforced by his brand, spanking new force that rivals the military’s. All good Socialists have their own paramilitary wing afterall.
“And what’s more, should word get out that Obama’s operation bears an uncanny resemblance to heavy-handed Chicago pols and Democratic insiders of years gone by (or to the vindictive Richard Nixon)…”
Uh…newsflash, Jennifer…WORD HAS gotten out!
Obama’s operation is Chicago machine bare-knuckle politics at it’s worse! I, and others, have commented that Obama would be like the second-coming of Jimmy Carter, and for the most part that is TRUE…but he would actually be MUCH WORSE than Carter, because his policies, both foreign and domestic, would bring on Carter-like results, while his tactics, ruthlessness, trickery, and double-crossing would be like the WORST aspects of Nixon…oh, and if anybody is out there that still remembers the Nixon years… who was it that brought about the term the IMPERIAL President??? Nixon.
That’s Obama in a nutshell…the IMPERIAL CANDIDATE!
That the left can even consider such a candidate is amazing in itself, given their pathological hatred of all-things Nixon (and Bush!), but it just goes to show you how gullible and blinded they are to this man. Oh, but then they aren’t COMPLETELY blinded…
Did I mention that he’s black???
How COOL is THAT!?
It just makes them all FEEL so warm and fuzzy inside to elect a black candidiate!
Why it’s affirmative-action at it’s most finest hour!
America IS progressing, we ARE taking a BOLD STEP…
…straight into the shit-pile of the past!!!!!
I agree.
The way the Dem Party treated Hillary was too shabby. However, they take their cues from the most active voters (i.e. those in the primaries).
Now that Obama morphed into General Election mode, where is the difference? The CHANGE he can change any time of his choosing, while Hillary positions herself to the further left of Obama-the-nominee right now.
All of this happened within the Dem party. Just wait till ‘President Obama’ tried to unite the nation.
Why McCain is starting to gain ground on Obama.
Obama Be
It is Boyd vs Alinsky and Boyd is winning.
Bill Clinton (and his bride) were the first non-Americans elected to the presidency, Barack Hussein Obama (and his bride) would be the first actual anti-Americans to hold that office should we be foolish enough to elect them.
HRC, B(deleted)O, black, female, non-American, anti-American, so many firsts!
Until just now I never fully realized that Barack Obama’s initials were ‘B.O.’. That’s gonna be hard to set aside.
We had a sure winner for the Democratic Party, Hillary Clinton. She’s a uniter who has a long history of accomplishments.
With her as President is the only way we can win in November.
For us political junkies, the Democratic convention should be one for the ages. Anybody else remember Peace frog by the Doors?

Blood in streets up to my ankles,
Blood in the streets up to my knees.
It will be a hoot when the Hillerites and the Obamanics duke it out.
Coalition to Ban Handguns and the Pink Pistols shooting it out on Main Street while ANSWER and the Sierra Club duke it out in the lobby.
Move On and the Kossacks fighting anybody that looks beatable.
TV ratings will be thru the roof. Every network producer will be sporting wood for the rest of the month. Thank god( allah?) for Tivo. I’ll not have to miss the NEA and their MADD shock troops hitting the shield wall of the Rainbow Coalition, while on the other channel the Black Panthers stalk CAIR through the parking lot.
It will make the OJ bronco chase look about as exciting as some fat old a$$hole driving his SUV down the highway at 12 MPH while 53 Cop cars follow him.
This will be just too much fun.
It is going to be fun when the day after the election McCain wins by a landslide to see the TV pundits have a stroke. If the congress should also change they will have a stroke and a heart attack.
I must admit that I was not a Hillary Clinton supporter from the start… seems that I was influenced by the press and their dirty dealings in the beginning… I was not an Obama supporter either… John Edwards was my choice. Well the field was cleared and Hillary and Obama were the choices. I found myself in a quandry and wondered which o ne? I started doing my research and found that the press was so gung ho on Obama that the hairs on my neck stood up as a warning… hmmmmmmm … every time I did not listen to that little voice I got in trouble… so, wow…. YouTube became such a big deal that the press had to report the Rev. Wright issue… oh boy, now I knew why I had the hair on the back of my head stood up. I knew that I was listening to a politician who had learned over 20 years how to sway people to his point of view. I was right… a politician with emotional appeal and nothing else… Change… what change? Never any substance to his speeches. No knowledge of how to make the changes. I cannot and will not support Obama…
I am proud to a PUMA and I am proud of Hillary Clinton and her courage in the face of the sexist and biased Main Stream Media. I have stopped watching CNN as a result of Wolfe Blitzer and Donna Brazile, esp. her race baiting ways and their calling for her to leave the race before all the votes were counted. I deplore MSNBC and their sexist and mysogenist commentators.
When will this country come to its senses and see what is really happening… probably when enough of us PUMA’s point it out to them. They will never silence the voices of the people… we are the backbone of America.
As one eloquent black woman wrote on one of the other blogs (she is a disinfranchised voter from Michigan): My roots are not in Africa, my ancestors were, my neighbors roots are not in Europe, their ancestors where, my roots are in America. I am a person of color, but I am a American I am not an African and make no mistake my loyalties lie with America… I do not wish to separate myself nor my family from America I do not wish to see a black America and white America and yellow America and brown America.
I AM AN AMERICAN!!!! I am a PUMA!!!! and I am proud to scream both those phrases.
It is fun to see the lively debate over Hill or Obama as the savior of the world, but lets be honest. The Democrats are foaming at the mouth with the idea of a Democrat controlled White House and Congress. Let’s hope they show their true colors before the election, so the American public can wake up before it is too late.
Hey Bruce – I know she said she was co-President in the past, but she’s not President now. And she’s not going to win. Obama is the nominee. How did she get thrown out of her own nomination process? The answer is, she’s not a uniter. She’s a divider. She alienated the non-white voters who want Obama.
Hallo Bruce, G’Day Bruce:
Don’t blame Hillary the DNC did this all by them selves… they took delegates away from Hillary and gave them to Obama….our for fathers are tuning over in their gave…. what would they think ??? Who could support a thug ?
Obama is a typical Chicago wannabee. Moved to Chicago to learn under Dailey(Boss)politicians. Than he says I am changing politics we wont have anymore old politics-what he ment is except me. He said was I will have a transparewnt government have cspan on meetings. Remember that. Than we see his press cannt get to cover him and we see closed meetings.Congress-I am the symbol the world has been waiting for. Ca.fund raiser -those darn pa plain folks are bitter and cling to guns and Bible and wont fall in line so I am spending your money 3 to 1 and losing but its there fault not mine. They are afraid cause I look different than them. geesh so I need more money please!! This is th eleader of the most powerful country. See something missing??ZAcountability-no birth certificate yet and does he have duel citizenship we have to wait till he can get this fixed must be. No experience just judgement. oops he says his useing his buddy Rezko to help with his dream house.Wife wont leave to live with him in DC (whats that about I bet we will hear soon enough)He said this was knuckledheaded judgement/ He was against th esurge. Oh geesh not enough time or space. He is so not material for our White House. Painting over flags on his o force one (arrogant beyond belief) plane. And you notice not a mention of race. It is so not that
BEG TO DIFFER WITH YOU Hallo Bruce:
Comment by Wisewoman
From a 63 yr old, black female supporter of Hillary, thanks. I knew I would not vote for Obama after the awful debacle in SC where while accusing the Clintons of racism, Obama himself used race-baiting tactics to win SC and further his campaign. Obama had won IA, lost NH, lost Nevada, he had to win SC or risk being out of the race if he didn’t win this overwhelmingly black participating democratic primary. At this point Hillary had a 65% black support in SC. Obama had to rip these voters from Hillary’s hands, thus he played the victim of race on comments that in no way could be consrued to be racist. He was helped in this effort by Donna Brazille and Jim Clyburn of SC. Because I am retired I was able to closely watch his effort unfold. I marched with Dr King. Obama dishonored all who helped in the civil rights struggle and dishonored King. For this I despise him and will never vote for him, ever. I grew up during the James Brown “I’m black and I’m proud” era. I can not be proud of him becomming the first “black affirmative action nominee” due to the actions of the DNC and the super delegates.
You all seem to be putting the blame where it doesn’t belong.. .ON HILLARY CLINTON! It belongs On the DNC, Brazile, Pelosi, Reid, and Obama… Rezko, Rev. Wright… etc. Let’s get it straight here folks…
Thanks for the good article Jennifer. In an article, July 18th, on her own website Donna Brazille stated, “How many ways do these Hillary delegates, voters and supporters need to hear it before they get it? Sen. Barack Obama is the party’s nominee. He won. He will get to choose his running mate. Obama sets the agenda for the convention, and, while I understand their passion in wanting Hillary to be on the ticket and to have a prominent role at the convention, it’s not her decision”. http://www.donnabrazile.com/viewNews.cfm?id=289
When the primary season ended neither candidate had secured the magic number without the super delegates. However, the DNC perpitrated a fraud on the Democratic voters by announcing Senator Obama as the presumptive nominee. Super delegates votes are not binding until the convention. So these super delegates are going to select the democratic candidate. The question is will the super delegates that received money from Senator Obama’s Hopefund PAC and have endorsed Senator Obama which is in direct opposition of the primary results within their districts continue their actions? .Other super delegates whom did not receive money have endorsed Senator Obama which is in direct opposition of the primary results within their districts, will this continue? Voters ELECT the President, not the elite SELECT a candidate.
PUMA NO DEAL.
Money Changes Everything :: Superdelegates Are For Sale
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pLPoV4diMjk
how far do the delegates feel they can wager? We will not only vote Hillary in but her supporters and those opposing her I will not support. If Delegates were pressured to go to Obama or lose there next election, what happens when Obama loses in Nov??Are they ready to find out??They have been bought and pressured and strongarmed and than we say this is the freedom and democracy we want other countries to follow>> Hello is something wrong here. I am embarrased by what the DNC has done to our party and country. Put a stop to it now. Hillary is the only Dem that can win the White House and not on bottom of any ticket either. That wont work either.
Sc–w Hillary!…No, you do it.
Thank you wisewoman .Not always easy to stand for whats right . I admire your courage, truth and honor
This primary taught me one thing…. the Democrats don’t give a s*** about women.
If they did, they would have said something about the sexism. In fact, McCain was the ONLY one who stood up and said it was wrong.
I left the Democratic Party at the beginning of the summer.
They are no better than the Republicans.
I’m going to vote for people, not parties.
The more articles I read from Jennifer the more of a hack she seems. Do you get paid by the McCain camp Jennifer? Do you do any fair handed pseudo reporting? I think we both know the answer to that?
So, Lisa… the Democrat party is no better than the Republican party. However, John McCain was the only one who said it was wrong. John McCain is a Republican (nominal though he may be on some issues). Not sure I understand how Republicans are no better. Even the hated G.W. Bush has always placed women high in his organization, and heavily relied on their input. He’s a believer in people, not groups.
You have failed (until the summer) to realize that the Democrat Party’s power is in its’ divisiveness. Unfortunately for them, two of the victim groups they love to manipulate were head-to-head, and they chose the victim group they loved more.
What you need to do is tell people you own your vote. Pledge it. Don’t give in to the Man, in this case, the Democrat Man. Go to http://www.iownmyvote.com/ and demand that Obama hear your voice. His reaction will tell you where the love is. Read the letter from the big DNC contributor as well and see how you feel then, regardless if he starts to give women some attention (http://directorblue.blogspot.com/2008/07/huge-dnc-contributor-to-treasurer-obama.html)
I doubt you’ll be pleased by the outcome, but you should try, at least.
If Obama becomes the official Dem candidate…then McCain will win by a landslide…say “Thank You” to PUMA’s, because we would rather be SAFE than SORRY!…and believe in COUNTRY before PARTY!…that’s being a true American!
Mr.Hope and Change – turn the page – new kind of politics – is THE FILTHIEST OF THE DIRTIEST DEALING POLITICIANS AROUND!! HE WOULD HAVE SOLD OUT AND THROWN HIS OWN MOTHER UNDER THE BUS IF SHE WEREN’T ALREADY DECEASED! HE THREW GRANDMA UNDER!!
Obama PAID for superdelegates and with the help of the CORRUPT Dean, Pelosi, Brazile – who helped or at least covered up his CHEATING IN THE CAUCUES – made sure the RBC meeting went in HIS FAVOR. Even the DAMN MEDIA helped this lying fraud become the PRESUMPTUOUS NOMINEE!!
Each and every day this man shows his true colors! Making a presidential emblem, painting over the flag on his plane, giving big speeches overseas as a president would do, DISSING THE TROOPS because the cameras couldn’t come along! The list is as long as my arm!
And you know, the Republicans haven’t even begun to FIGHT!! They know there is still a slim possibility that the RIGHTFUL NOMINEE, HILLARY CLINTON could get the nomination. Once they know it’s sure Obama is the nominee, they will bring out the big guns!
Obama does NOT have a chance in November!! No one likes an ARROGANT, CONDESCENDING, CONCEITED, PRESUMPTUOUS, TWO-FACED, RACIST, SEXIST, LYING FRAUD – ESPECIALLY WHEN HE HAS ZERO EXPERIENCE AND ZERO ACCOMPLISHMENTS!!
OBAMA MAKES GWBUSH LOOK GOOD!!
Hate breeds this blog, Women winning = this blog. Try to let go and be good mothers, women, friends and put all this negative energy into your local communitiy for causes that really matter vs. this never ending show of “chip on the shoulder”. On the other hand glad to see so many of you here and not out actually realizing real success.
http://my.barackobama.com/page/s/joinourmovement
Great article! This sham of a primary will soon be exposed. BO will not know what hit him come Fall. The Dems think Paris/Britney, and “The One” is low road negative. Just wait.
Listen, Americans must enjoy having Presidents who lead them down the hard path to destruction. After all, two GWB terms and now they are blindly following the Pied Piper of Chicago. The problem is, we are running out of chances to save ourselves. Why is it about race? Because we have a black man running for office. Well, that was bound to happen. Didn’t Al Sharpton, Carol Mosely-Braun and Jesse Jackson run for office once too? Anyone remember Shirley Chisholm? This little midwestern white girl had Ms. Chisholm’s picture on her wall to show just what was possible to a girl. It wasn’t about race then and it isn’t now. It is about who can fix our economy and keep my job from being outsourced. Hillary can. It’s about who would take a strategic, well thought out plan and start getting us out of Iraq. Hillary would. Yes, she did vote for the war. Many people did, what were we to do? Everyone was crying for blood after Sept.11 and I don’t know if any of you were more enlightened than those in office who made the initial judgement that Iraq was to be a target. Hindsight is always 20-20 and someone will always claim that they knew it was a bad decision. Too late, we’re there and we need a leader to pull us out without collapsing the nation itself. It’s about universal healthcare that everyone has to have because I’m tired of getting gouged on my premiums because folks don’t have insurance. I don’t mind those who truly cannot afford it, but the lazy ones who’d rather spend their money on other things and then stiff the emergency rooms when they get a migraine that I have a problem with. Who will fix that? Hillary will.
Can you folks who call people like me racist because I want a real leader in the White House please stop and think for a minute? You who follow the hype and the rock star adulation of the first black candidate, and how hip and cool he is, and he’ll bring change…, he will bring us down so far we will never recover. America will cease to exist as we know and love her. The nation’s blood will be on your hands. Fix the problem or be part of it, the choice is yours. Use it while we are still a free nation.
Let me start by saying that as soon as this Election is over I am registering as an INDEPENDANT.And yes I am a DEMOCRAT at the present time. This is my first time ever voting in my whole 52 years.I did it for Hillary.Everything about Barack Obama screams inexperience. He has no core values, and radical anti-american friends that would make Saddam Hussein proud. If Hillary is not back on the ballot I will jump party and vote for McCain.
Thanks for the article- has anyone looked at the Rasmussen poll numbers? For the first time since Senator Obama became the presumed nominee, McCain is leading nationally in the poll. This is at the same time that in national and state elections, Democrats are winning by a huge margin- some by 20-30%! If this isn’t starting to ring an alarm bell for the DNC and Democratic Leadership, I don’t know what will. Senator Clinton is the best and only electable Democratic candidate for POTUS this year. So Obama supporters, pledged delegates, and Superdelegates- it’s high time YOU get over it and do the right thing- nominate Hillary Clinton at the Convention in Denver!
Proud PUMA Pac member and American
Hey Fut – ever been to daily Kos? How about my DD? Does Huff Po ring a bell for you? There’s your hate breeding right there. Want more? Go to the B.O. site and view users’ own blogs. It’s good to see you are here and not realizing your own success. That is one of the stupidest comments I have seen on any blog. Thanks.
It’s great to see the true thoughts and words of the Super Delegates go into print. Americans everywhere should be outraged at some of the responses we’ve received from these letters.
These Super Delegates are supposed to be fair and just, yet most are bought by the Obama Campaign. Many seem to only know a few words in english, such as, “Stop Sending ME Hate Mails” That’s the lonely cry of the Super Delegate.
Since when is it hate mail to remind a Super Delegate’s that Senator Clinton is not out of the race.

At the beginning of the primaries, it was said that the more people got to know Obama, they would want to vote for him. Sorry. No.
No to Rev. Wright.
No to his misogyny: Calling the reporter (et al.) “Sweetie” and patting Michelle on the butt on stage on camera.
No to Rezko.
No to his endless flip-flopping on important issues. (C’mon, he is more McCain than McCain now!)
No to his friendships with known terrorists.
No to his superlative opinion of himself.
No. No. No. No. No.
I have been a democrat for the past 40 years. I am having to rethink my politics at this point, because if Hillary is not the Democratic nominee in November, I will absolutely vote for McCain. Yes, he has some issues, as well, but at least I feel he is the “safer” of the two.
Instead, let’s do the right thing and vote for
Hillary in 2008 and 2012
As a proud member of the vast, right-wing conspiracy, i would like to welcome all of the Hilary supporters that are finally getting the same treatment that the republicans have been getting by the media for years. I find it extremely interesting how most of you can no longer watch CNN or MSNBC because they’re so much in the tank for their candidate. Maybe you would like to avail yourselves to this opportunity for introspection and take a peek at FOX news to see if they really are FAIR and BALANCED in terms of their reporting (not the commentaries, just the reporting). This might be a good opportunity for those on the left who have been outcast can see if they can start a polite dialog with those of us on the right that have been the red-haired step-children of the media forever and maybe you can move away from the vitriolic name calling and get down to ideas. Good luck in the coming months with your new status.
The nation watched the DNC in action during the primaries. Or was your TV out those days? Hillary won the popular vote and the delegate votes’ were awarded to Obama. Is this the kind of democracy you support?
Why don’t some of you listen? Everyone should be outraged. Our constituional rights were ignored and the DNC did what they felt was in their best interest. If you let it go once, then the next time will be worse.
Hillary only suspended her campaign. She never waved the white flag. Women have rights also. There are many men that supported Hillary also.
The Badge of Courage is much more impressive than the Sign of Defeat. It doesn’t end here, so get used to us.
Obama cheated his way to the top. He used fraud and vote suppression using the press. Every time you turned around near the end of the race the press was saying that Hillary had quit, Hillary had to come out a couple of times and say that she did not quit on National television in order to hear the straight story. He used dirty politics in Chicago to get where he is in the Senate and he’s still is using it. If Americans wanted a crook for a president they would nominate someone from the State Prison. Try nominating a worthy black candidate, don’t have this con man represent the black community . Sometimes I think the democratic party is trying to get this train wreak of a guy in just so the country will never think about nominating a black man again – we have an awful lot of intelligent black men out there nominating someone who doesn’t even know how many states there is in the very country he running in is not fair to the AA community. Stop this mess now and bring back Hillary at least she didn’t divide half the party by refusing to put her name on my Michigan State ballot and disenfranchise millions of voters.
Any True American would rather BE SAFE(Hillary, McCain), THAN SORRY(Obama)
NObama…Hillary or McCain’08…
I believe that the DNC already knows Obama has lost the election. He maintains just a slight lead over McCain and that is probably because the GOP is letting him. The GOP and McCain are building their resources together and hold similar cash on hand, more than the DNC/Obama combined. Obama flashes his big bucks while the DNC is scraping by. He is not bragging about his July gross receipts so I’m guessing he did not do so well. He probably spent most of his receipts trying to get some bounce going. It didn’t happen. Restoring the FL/MI votes will not fool anyone either. They need to kick that bum to the curb.
I would like to comment on a few things here.During the primarries Obamas camp would say they were out of ballots in the polling stations of his followers and that was found out as a lie. Then at one polling station and caught on tapehis camp paid a women to sit at the door and tell people they couldn’t vote there unless they voted for Senator Obama. At caucususes caucuses Hillarys people were locked out from voting and were bullied and threatened outside and the elderly had to go home. We do not need a man running for President who is running like a cheap Chicago thug.Obamas camp paid people to fill out ballots in dead peoples names and pets names. What a pathetic joke.I also would love to see a real Birth Certificate on Obama and what is he hiding and where are all those so called papers from all the work he supposedly did in Chicago?? Funny how all that just dissapeared. No real Birth Cetificate just a phoney one. HMMMM very fishy to me. I agree with the Pumas and great jog you are all doing.
A Warning: Hillary should NOT be on Obama’s ticket as Veep.
When he realizes his only chance to win will be with Hillary – ONLY then will he offer her the spot. But he’s USING her and will toss her aside once she’s served her purpose. He’s shown us a history of it. Remember: he can’t stand her.
Don’t believe any persuasive words he might use — they’re all lies.
She will lose credibility by associating herself with him and his people. Let him lose this one on his own. She can run in 2012 on her values and hopes for our country.
Obama does not respect our laws or our democratic process. No one who loves America should be associated with him.
By the way Pumas you are doing such a great job i would love to join in with you and get some of my freinds also.I agree as we need to fight for the freedom of our country and take America back.We will lose freedom of speech soon as when Obama and Perlosi along with Bush voted for the Fisa Bill that took away our privacy.Heaven help us if this dangerous man gets in power.Hillary was and is still the strongest one to lead our country. We have a corrupt UnDemocratic Party and as a die hard Democrat i to would cross over and vote Mccain at least weknow he is a Patriot and loves this Great America.

I agree, I attached a 10 min teaser of a documentary that is being produced of all the corruption within my own party, Democrats, during the primary season. The producer will be updating the video weekly.
Just Say No Deal philosophy is “If the parties won’t uphold democratic principles, who will? If the voters don’t hold the parties accountable, who will?” Voters will hold the Democratic party officials accountable.

I agree with the premises as stated by the PUMA Pac. As a life long democrat, it HURT to watch the intra-party hate that the Obama campaign inspired.
All just to divide the party and win a nomination. Obama is a ruthless politician- anything but clean, nice and inclusive. Anything but a symbol of hope and change.
To deny the mistakes and bias of this democratic primary is counter productive.
Thank you for stepping up and giving PUMA the credit they deserve. Murphy and friends have done an awesome job of organising and running PUMA.
Any Democrat who dares to speak out against Obama is quickly labeled a racist and Republican in disguise. What they don’t wont to see is that we are the base of the Democratic Party.
They tell us we don’t matter, that our voices won’t be heard and our opinions are worthless.
Thank You for standing up for the heart and soul of the Democratic Party……PUMAS
Its time for America to wake up before it’s to late.Hillary for President. Now bot when the corrupt DNC says so. We do not want a President who was selected not elected.Sorry Dean,Brazil,Pelosi,Reid,Clyburn you all need to go find another home.Go Pumas I am with you all the way.
Long time Democrat, always voted for the Dem candidate, but not this time.
Obama is a shape-shifting, vacuous, flip-flopper who has no business running for president. There is no chance I vote for him, especially after the way Hillary was robbed of delegates. He is a ruthless politician out for one thing….himself.
I never thought I would vote for a Republican, but if Hillary is not the nominee, I will vote for McCain with glee!
PS I detest George Bush and will never forgive him for lying to us about Iraq. But my approval rating for him is higher than my personal approval of the despicable Obama.
Remember the finger that Obama gave Hillary during a speech he was giving… and the brushing off his shoulders when mentioning her name… Classy guy! What about the comment “Boy beats girl” Michelle Obama said when she was on the view..Classy girl!
What about his rise to the senate by stepping over everyone! Questionable, dishonorable, untrustworthy, as we latinos say es un Politico
We have only one choice that is McCain if Hillary is not the nominee.
No one needs to get in the mud and insult Obama. All that has to be said is he’s a 2 TERM Senator (really 1 since he was campaigning) with no foreign policy experience and is on the wrong side of drilling and the war. Debate the political topics and the house of cards will fall. No need to get caught up in him being half black. No need to play out his middle name. Reasonable adults can look at the facts and facts all point to McCain being a far better, safer and logical choice between the two. Kids and hippies fall for the “Hope and Change” ruse. Hillary lost because the Dems have really shifted to the left and it’s way hipper to pick a half black guy in ’08 then a woman. Women in politics is so 1984. Like manic depression, “white, liberal guilt” is a mental disorder. Symptoms include picking your candidate based on little more then a catchy slogan, rejoicing in the fact he has little to no experience and being mixed race. If I were a Clinton supporter I wouldn’t want her hitched to Obama’s run. He’s going to lose. She’ll be the Democratic candidate in 2012, mark my words.
Darragh is a true American and a guiding light of Democracy in this country. We are called “older angry white women who are racists” because we won’t support Obama. Since when is it racist to disagree with a candidate?
Obama is the modern day “attack of the body snatcher” whose followers are walking around like zombies comotose from listening to the repeated promises of change that are never defined. Ask any Obama supporter why they will vote for him and their only answer is “he is so charismatic”. Sure, his head will fit nicely on a postage stamp but I require more from my President than Obama could ever be.
I have voted as a Democrat for over 30 years. The party is no longer recogniziable to me. We need a person with experience to get this country back on track. Doing what is best for the country is more important than supporting a party who could not wait to get a “qualified” black candidate and just tried to cram this one down our throats. It won’t work, not with me.I own my vote and I will be voting for McCain.we will remmeber in November! Puma Power!

Excellent piece. Spot on. Thanks!
Dear Huh Lisa…
As I said, I am voting for people not party. In this election, the person I have chosen to vote for is McCain… because he did speak out.
Murphy has these people conned … after they waste all their hard earned money filling her pockets and the IRS comes after Murphy and several other lawsuits are filed for copyright infringement(and it WILL happen) then they will have real problems to whine about.
And poor Hillary they should leave her alone, I have a good source that tells me she doesn’t want a thing to do with puma, she won’t acknowledge them at all. Murphy has them so blinded that she has them conned into thinking Hillary is talking to them in code, and they believe it!! Murphy has it set up to drag her name through the mud. Watch it switch, it already started, it’s not going to be about her at all soon.
BTW these comments saying they want to join or agree with puma are from pumas … the call went out for them to come over and spam.
Read all about the real Murphy from a puma:

Hillary was cheated out of the nomination. Was the DNC expecting us to keep quiet? I had never been involved in politics before, but the sheer dishonesty of all this pushed me out. Obama was selected by the DNC, not elected. He’s not OUR candidate he’s THEIR candidate. The DNC must allow Hillary delegates to vote in the convention. What kind of “Democratic” Party is this?
What kind of people read this site: it is the refuge of the lunatic fringe?
Jennifer, Thank you for the great article. We are very fortunate to have a leader like Murphy! We are making a difference and hopefully those pea brains at the DNC will do the right thing for Hillary. If it’s not Hillary, then my vote, money and time campaigning will be for a true hero…..John McCain. Someone who puts his country FIRST. Unlike the crook from Chicago!

Thanks! Very good article!! Finally we are being heard!!
I will never, never vote for Nobama! He is sooo scary!!! It is so obvious that Nobama is soooo hungry for power. His arrogance is just despicable!! He lies, he flipsflops, he does not stand by firmly on a clear platform or policy or values!! He only says what we want to hear. Hes corrupt and he is always able to squirm out of any mistake. He always finds excuses and blames others for his own mistakes, and HE NEVER APOLOGIZES FOR ANY MISTAKE. HE DOES NOT HAVE HUMILITY!!! Humility is an important trait in a person, more so in a leader. Without humility, Nobama thinks he is God, all powerful and all so perfect!!! Thats what is scary!! He will always insist he is right and he will always want to control everything!!! With him as POTUS, America will be doomed!!!
I want my Madam President please!!!! Hillary is the one!!

This is no longer only about Hillary…. this is about democracy … this is about DEMOCRACY!!!… Votes counted…… Caucus bullies not allowed to intimidate… This is about changing the Democratic Party…Getting rid of Dean, Pelosi, Brazile and Reid… Voting out the incumbents….
Count me as another PUMA DEmocrat who will not vote for the flip-flopping egocentric Obama. In face, I am so angry with Kennedy, Kerry, and Patrick endorsing Obama before MA even had the Primary, that I intend to vote against all of them when they come up for re-election. Kerry has a Primary challenger this year,Ed O’Reilly,
whom I am supporting.
The truth is that this past democratic primary was severely flawed and neither candidate received the number of pledged delegates needed for the nomination. BO was selected by the superdelegates and contributions by BO to the superdelegates’ campaigns appears to have encouraged many to pledge their vote for him. The democratic party and their undemocratic process for nomination is the real problem here. Puma PAC is helping to make our voices heard so we can stop and change a process that is doomed for failure unless revised.
Yeah – GO PUMA….I didn’t realize I was even a member of PUMA!! I feel exactly like Daragh describes. A Democratic Outcast.
Hillary’s was the first campaign (and last) that I ever got involved with.
She is an amazing woman and she inspired me.
But now I’m back to where I was before Hillary Clinton ever entered the race. A skeptic hellbent on never voting again.
If Hillary Clinton is not on any ticket, then I’m going back to never voting again.
I so happy to see my video Mad As Hell “inspired” so many headlines LOL

PUMA
It’s clear that the DNC felt women supporters of Hillary could be marginalized this year. We’ve heard time and time again, “where else could you go?” Well, I think we’re about to show them.
I do think that the Democratic Party is in a shambles with the worst candidate they could have possible chosen. Did they really think that party members would just rollover and accept someone selected and not elected. Obama himself is self-destructing by virtue of his arrigance.
Oh, joy! You Hillary-lovers just can’t imagine how I love your angst. I absolutely revel in your tears. I roll around in them.
Perhaps the only positive thing that has come out of this campaign is that supporters of Senator Clinton have refused to jump on the bandwagon. After the farcial RBC meeting, I was so afraid that people would give up and fall in line. Thank God for the The Denver Group and the Puma Pac. I cannot help but rephrase Michelle’s famous quote. I have never been more ashamed of my party than I am now, but I am also so very proud of all who are fighting against the DNC and its Donkey candidate. This must go to the convention. By the way, while the, “Citizen of the World,” was doing his victory laps overseas, racist Bill Clinton was actually in Africa doing some good for the people there. Don’t you just hate those racist Clintons?
It’s funny how people can be so blind. I am still trying to explain myself how the DNC has shoot itself on the foot by “selecting” Barack Obama. Not only the DNC did not respect the people’s decision, but it used all kinds of methods I thought were typically republican-made. It is a real shame for the DNC to have assumed such practices, like asking a candidate with enormous possibilities to drop out of the race even before the race was over. What would have happened if Obama were not the nominee having won the popular vote? Very simple. People will revolt using the typical “racist” word, but nobody has said anything about what really happened, well, except us PUMAS.
I’ve been a registered left-leaning independant all my life. After this primary season, I am now a right-leaning independant voter. I will not vote for Obama. The Democratic party has been taken over by the far left. What they did to Senator Clinton and really women in general is outrageous. I thought the Democatic party was the people’s party. Well, as a female I don’t feel welcomed. Electing Obama is as big a mistake for America as having Bush as our President the past 8 years. McCain will be a President that is a Patriot and will stand up for America. Obama will change this country into a Socialist society. NO BO!!!
I am not a democrat, but I looked on with complete disbelief at the way the Obama campaign handled the primaries. I may not agree with Mrs. Clinton, but she was royally shafted.
Between Mrs. Clinton and Mr. Obama, the choice is clear, she would be a much better president. At least she knows how many states are in this county and she does love America. She understands that this is not Europe and we are nothing like Europeans (I’ve lived there, I know).
Mr. McCain has stances that I disagree with, but he does love America and will not sell us out to the lowest bidder.
Also, the thought of Michelle Obama as first lady makes me sick to my stomach. No matter how much you guys hate W, you have to admit that Laura has CLASS, something that Ms. Obama is totally unaquainted with.
Good luck with your efforts. I hope you succeed. Mrs. Clinton does not frighten me nearly as much as Mr. Obama.
The Axelrod Trojan Horse Campaign cannot win in November. Zeus knows what’s in Barrack’s agenda! Twenty years listening to hateful racist propaganda and allowing his 2 girls to sit and listen in that toxic environment, while the pastor was gyrating wildly from the pulpit emulating sexual acts and screaming (louder than Dr.Dean!) “Bill Clinton does to us what he did to Monica!…
Any fit parent would have walked out of that “church” and prevent his girls from witnessing sex from the pulpit! It took him 20 years to make a speech about Healing and racial harmony that he should have made decades before. He made it purely to save his political skin! He wouldn’t hesitate to throw his mama under the bus! And he still may… The man’s just an empty suit with no character, no morals and no direction or agenda–other than inflating tires to save energy!
Barack’s documented misogyny is alarming and watching the “Obama gives Hillary the Finger” youtube mega hit where he flip-offs his fellow female senator….is well….sufficient to vote for:
NoBama ’08
I’m a proud member of PUMA Pac and Justsaynodeal and many other PUMA sites. Why? Why do we continue on a cause, with no real leadership or organization, months after we’ve been told our candidate is out?
Because Senator Clinton was elected, she holds the mandate of the people and we CAN NOT get over the brushing-aside of this fact by the democratic national committee.
A democratic candidate has NOT been elected yet. There is still almost three weeks to work for change. I urge you to join a PUMA group today and write your delegates and Super-Delegates. Let them know you are not fooled, you have not drunk the kool-aid and you see right through their paper-king!
America is supposed to be a democracy. The fiasco of the 2008 democratic primaries rivals that of the past two presidential elections. Three strikes and you’re out! We PUMAs refuse to sit idly by as our right to choose is revoked.
AlwaysForHillary — Thank you for a great post reflecting the views of millions. Surely, transplanting the Chicago political sewer-rat mentality to the (ex)Democratic Party is not the winning way.
At least Madonna was a true marketing genius. She knew her base and offended accordingly. As “Always” said above….Barack Obama makes George Bush look presidential!
Pumas are multiplying in the wilderness and their claws are growing ferociously. And we’re so fed up of ‘news’ by those who got their journalism training from 24/7 coverage of bimbos out of rehab.
Can you hear the roar, Britney — or should say Chancey the Gardener. Go see Peter Seller’s classic 70s movie: “Being There”. Barack IS Chancey!
Nan,
Although as a conservative, I imagine we would disagree on many things political, I hope you will reconsider your decision not to vote. It can take hard work to become informed, and I confess that too often I have passed over voting for a local office because I’m not familiar with the candidates. BUT…
The preamble to our Constitution says “We the People”; as one of our greatest presidents (Harry Truman) said of the presidency – the buck stops here. Please remember the risks and setbacks our forefathers (and mothers) endured to secure our right to vote. If we leave the field to the cynical and corrupt, we will get the government we deserve. Let’s persevere, despite short term losses, to win the government we need.
America used to inspire respect around the world. Then there was George W. This year the Democrats had a chance. I watched the primaries with a kind of mad obsession. It was exciting, exhilarating and uplifting,(mostly), that is until May 31 and the DNC’s overt push and elevation of BO. The only good thing to have come out of this travesty is the PUMA / Just say no deal coalition. You should be patting yourselves on the back for all the work you are doing to reclaim the high ground that America used to be famous for. Good luck Puma’s, regardless of the electoral outcomes, you will be remembered for your courage in speaking truth to power and in doing so reminding the rest of the world that there still is such a thing as hope.
Loveit:
Oh, joy! You Hillary-lovers just can’t imagine how I love your angst. I absolutely revel in your tears. I roll around in them.
*************************************
Happy to oblige, but come November you will be rolling around in your own distress.
Obama is the biggest racist Americans have ever seen.
Axelrod and Plouffe manufactured an “ideal candidate” according to their research.
The making of the First Black President, what will he need.
Lots and lots of slogans, abstract philosophy, throw in a few good words like Hope and Change, and of course he must be Mulatto; that is why Axelrod’s need empty suit like Obama in order for us to project what we may upon Obama….
And now we all project that he is the 1000 pound gorilla racist in the room!
Great article. I doubt that the coverage of the Dems convention will be anything spectacular. After all the MSM will just present their typical drool in their shoes BO worship. The protesters will not be anywhere near the convention. Thankfully there will be blogs so we will be able to get the real news. By the way I will never vote for BO. If the Dems had anyone among them with a brain they would have pushed Hillary with BO as a vice President. Then they would have had the White house for 16 years. But since they are run by egos and wishful thinking they will simply lose AGAIN and probably by a landslide.
I’m a conservative…that means I’m not thrilled with McCain much either. However, if this was to be the year of the Democrat, I would much rather see it be Hillary.
It bothers me that Obama is forcing me to vote McCain.
I have voted Democrat in the past, but that party of 40 years ago is gone. Too bad. It seems that your Democats-in-control-of-the-party hate Republicans, and your typical Republican is where the Democrats were those 40 years ago.
Conservatives, however, see both parties as a lite and heavy version of each other.
There HAD to be a better choice than Obama. From a conservatives point of view he isn’t just wrong for America, he’s an anathema. No-one ever said that Hillary wasn’t an American…left-of-center, yes, but an American first.
I can’t tell if being an American is even on Obama’s list.
Good Lord. Hillary needs these people like she needs another blue denim dress. They’re alienating the superdelegates and undermining her power base within the Party. I can’t imagine how humiliating it is for her to know that she has inspired a movement of slogan-shouting, conspiracy-devouring, fax-bombing loonies who fancy themselves the Last Defenders of Democracy. Talk about “arrogant.”
Well, it seems that the Puma people are finding out about redneck foreplay from Ohhhh…..BAAMA!
“Shut up and get in the truck bitch!” It has got to be foreply because somebody is sure as ‘ell getting fukkked.
What will the black voters do when they find out that Ohhhhh…..BAAAMA! is really an Arab? Will Chris Matthews find another leg or will he keep hunching the one he is on now?
I want somebody to start a pool on when the first big media outlet figures out they can sell more air time going against Ohhhhh…..BAAAAMA! then with him. I pick September the 2nd, for historical reasons and ABC for alphabetic reasons.
Of course Ohhhhh…..BAAAMA! can always deflect the media by choosing Britney for the VP slot. Not only is she better qualified, she will get custody whenever she wants. Just ask Elian Gonzales.

It’s funny how the left goes on about PRESIDENT Bush and civil liberties but ignores Clinton’s SS thugs in action. How many children did Reno order burned alive?
Thank you to Jennifer Rubin for providing a fair and balanced account of the PUMA movement. Many of us are appalled by what we witnessed during this primary from the media and from Obama surrogates. The “presumptive” candidate is a loser and will take what’s left of the Democratic party with him. This is a new low in American politics.
PUMA is providing the impetus for reform to make political parties accountable to the American voter. It’s an idea long overdue and growing stronger every minute.
Thanks Jennifer for your article. The media, leaders of the democratic party and some super-delegates, and of course the Obama campaign itself think they can insult us and dismiss we Clinton supporters and somehow we will go away or else fall in line.
Actually many of us have went away – away from the “presumptuous, selected, arrogant, no-experience, racist, unelectable” presumptive candidate of the democratic party. We will do everything in our power to make certain that Obama is never elected president of the United States. I and fellow PUMAS believe it would be the worse thing for our country.
It’s Hillary for me 08′ or John McCain 08′. I also now vote the person and not the party. Never again will I blindly follow a “party.” I am now 60 years old and have been a loyal democrat since I was old enough to vote – at least when it came to presidential politics. It’s taken me awhile to “wake up” but at last that’s what I have done.
1st off- T/Y “wisewoman” for your honesty!
There’s a PUMA site that you might like. It’s: http://www.pocpuma.com it means people of color against Obama.
Thank you for this article & the work of
D.Murphy & all the others.
Go PUMA!!
P.S.How is his lastest $1,000 Tax credit
pd by the oil companies, NOT PANDERING!!
The primary job of president is in the realm of National Security, to keep the nation safe from those what would do us harm. This requires someone with knowledge, experience and judgment to get the job done. Obama is not qualified for the job and I do not trust him with the power of the presidency. Ultimately that is why in a contest between Obama and McCain- the Senator from Arizona will be the 44th president of the United States.
Despite their real or manufactured fury PUMAs probably will have no meaningful effect on the Democratic Convention as far as preventing Obama from claiming the nomination, especially since Clinton will speak on his behalf at the convention. Still, in a tight general election (the kind we typically have) I suppose it is conceivable that they might make a difference. Sadly and ironically, it would be a difference that goes against most of their own primary interests (at least those who aren’t secretly McCain supporters to begin with).
Though I can’t imagine that PUMAs will have an effect unless they get a huge boost from conservative media, their best hope would be to make a difference in the same way that Ralph Nader did against Al Gore in 2000, Ross Perot did against George H.W. Bush in 1992, Ted Kennedy did against Jimmy Carter in 1980, and Ronald Reagan did against Gerald Ford in 1976–drawing just enough attention and votes to help put the candidate their supporters disliked most in the White House. The difference in each of those cases was that the candidate’s supporters actually had a candidate who obviously still sought the position, while Clinton likely will–as she has repeatedly on previous occasions–exhort her supporters to do what they can to avoid a continuation of the Bush policies. A McCain presidency would have a good chance of turning those 5-4 Supreme Court votes against progressives into 7-2 votes against them.
Thus far, consistency, except in avoid-Obama-at-all-costs rhetoric, has not been a key part of PUMA power. Even Fox News, which would undoubtedly love to see PUMAs help swing the election for McCain and which has aired more about the group than any other network, can’t help but point out the contradictions. PUMAs like to say they’ll vote for a person over a party–and then talk about how they’ll vote against their own interests. One might say it would serve PUMAs right to get what many of them now want, however remote the odds.
I’m a 68 year old PUMA who will continue to pounce and growl until we take our party back. I will not fall in line. I will continue to support Hillary any way I can. I own my vote.
I’m a proud pocPUMA!!
Seems as even stalwart Dems aren’t working for “The One”. Ha…those bitter, gun-clinging religious nuts in PA see that the emperor has no clothes!

Behind Obama, but not with joy
Clinton backers in state still cope with alienation, disappointment
Sunday, August 03, 2008
By Mackenzie Carpenter, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette
A few weeks ago, Bonnie Chang decided to throw a house party at her home in Bucks County to unite supporters of Sens. Barack Obama and Hillary Rodham Clinton after the state’s bruising, closely fought seven-week primary.
It was not a rip-roaring success.
“The Clinton supporters told me they’re going to vote for Obama but they’re not going to work for him,” said Ms. Chang, a 53-year-old Clinton delegate in the 8th Congressional District who is now busy trying to convince people to volunteer in Mr. Obama’s campaign. “They’d say, ‘OK, OK, I know he’s the nominee, just don’t expect me to have a house party for him.’”
(Much more at link)
PA IS RED IN NOVEMBER!
You say that Obama is in our best interest??? The man who voted for FISA, and the DNC who selected him? What makes you so sure that we are voting against our best interests? Tell me why?
Its becoming increasingly obvious that Obama is in over his head! As a black 35 years old man and a fan of PUMA… it is amazing how the democrats have set themselves up for failure yet again. Puma is going to end up on the right side of history. Now 2 quick questions…1. How can McCain all of a sudden be “evil” when just 36 months ago Kerry was begging him to be his VP? 2. How can the same people that loved the Clintons throw the wife under the bus for a candidate nobody knows a thing about? GO PUMA!
Great Article. I’ve been a Dem for over 30 years, but what the DNC and Obama have done to the Party may be the final act–pushing an unqualified, unelectable candidate down our throats. If Obama ends up being the nominee, count this Dem voting for McCain in November!
Oh, and thank you Jennifer, for daring to tell our REAL story!
Yes, this is not all about Hillary being the best candidate, and Nobama being the most unqualified candidate (even worst than GWB). This is also about the death of democracy within the DNC (I guess they oughta change the party’s name), betrayal and deceit in the highest form by the DNC and utter SEXISM.

A Puma member and a Hillaryvillager
As a regular visitor to http://noquarterusa.net/blog/
it’s been a fun and interesting day to see PJM become a site so many PUMA’s have visited.
Welcome, all you refugees of Obama’s scorched earth policy! I can only hope you’ll keep up the fight through November, no matter what scars you bear from the convention. I know it won’t be a pretty sight to watch for you…though for some of us it will be like watching a train wreck in slow motion…
A perverse and peculiar pleasure, knowing you’re not on it, and no one you care about is on that train.
Sick, huh? I think maybe it’s guy thing…
Hillary was by far the best candidate from either party.
Neither McCain or Obama can compare to Hillary.
As a longtime active member of the Democratic Party, I am appalled by this primary season. The Emperor Has No Clothes, and our real, wise, Madame President is treated in such an ugly, sexist manner. I am now a PUMA Clinton Democrat.
“our real, wise, Madame President”
I assume that would be the woman who voted for the Iraq war and remains married to a philandering serial-rapist, for the sake of political expediency?
Co-dependency is not a leadership trait.
Will someone please name a single achievement in Obamas record? How can you campare him to Hillary or McCain? The more that Obama supporters tell us to fall in line, the more they call us ignorant, the more they insult Hillary the less I want to vote for him. I own my vote, the DNC doesn’t speaks for me and Obama has never and will never be an option. If Hillary is not the Democratic party nominee
(which I believe she can still be) I will vote for McCain and will be done once and for all with the Democratic party
I’m a conservative so…
1. At one time Reagan was a Democrat. As he said, the party left him, not he left the party. Some of you might profit from following his example.
2. I don’t support McCain because he’s a liberal. Its interesting that the liberals in the R party treated the conservative base and the libertarians with complete scorn as we pushed against the liberals’ candidate. Its similar to how the pro-Obama people are treating the Pumas here (except the R liberals were far more vicious). We conservatives kept wondering why liberals thought ‘Ker-pow, right in the kisser’ was a persuasive arguement instead of something to cause anger. I think both groups of liberals (the R version and the Obama version) are trying not to have to bargain for support. They agreed with Macchiavelli…’tis better to be feared than loved. Personally, I think this says a something about the character of the ones choosing to pummel rather than persuade.
But then I’m a conservative, and I think character is important. Granted, if it works, its cheaper, but I still don’t think its good or wise policy. Its greed, and Wall Street has a proverb…bulls and bears run, but pigs get slaughtered.
Sigh. Its either Jimmah Cartah from Chi-town, or “I hate conservatives” from Arizona. I think Hillary might be better than either of these.
“Still, in a tight general election (the kind we typically have) I suppose it is conceivable that they might make a difference.”
What planet are you from? Tight General Elections? The 2000 was tight, but over the last 10 cycles that was it;
http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/maps/obama_vs_mccain/?map=21
The 2 closest wins were turned in by Bush the Younger. The only other victory under TRIPLE DIGITS in the last 10 cycles was Carter’s over Ford. 2 of the victories were by more then 600 EV’s.
So I don’t know where you got this close election thingie, but they were lying to you. Check your wallet.
I didn’t bother to average the numbers, but at a glance the ‘typical’ election is about a 200 EV Victory. Remember, Politics is a zero-sum game.
Which is why “Why can’t we all just get along” is the mantra of a moroon.
“Fools say that they learn by experience. I prefer to profit by others experience”
- Otto Von Bismarck
I will not vote for Obama. His arrogance coupled with his lack of experience is preventing him from seeing that his only chance of victory is with Hillary on the ticket. The DNC and the media have planted him on us now they need our votes to seal the deal. But not so fast. Obama’s “selection” was nothing but that a selection not an election. Now I see that he wants Michigan and Florida included. Before he chided Hillary for insisting on it. The DNC officials that support him are all opportunists that have not given us a “national” candidate. Now they want us to unite and rally around BO. The way I see it no matter who becomes the President he road ahead is a tough one. I have no confidence that BO could deliver or taht he could control his supporters who would all want a piece of the action. That’s the change that we will get…new faces with the same personal agenda. Donna Brazile, shame on you!
What a bunch of whining women, why not be honest and state that it is the colour of Obama’s skin that will stop you from voting for him.
I hope McCain does win, so much easier for we non-Americans to turn dubya mark two down when he comes looking for military help.
Better the USA has a draft than we be involved in your crusades.
If all Hillary supporters knew what the DNC did May 31, probably far fewer would be supporting Barack Obummer. Those of us who know will never buy into the ‘Selected’ nominee. They pushed an AA who is obviously not ready for the job. They tried to push out the qualified and electable candidate.
Nobama in November
PUMA!!
Never have I seen so much ignorance expressed on one computer screen. Do Puma’s know we currently have the worst president in our history? Do they know that John McCain says he will continue the Iraq war, the tax breaks for the rich? Obviously, Puma’s, operating at a 5-year-old level, wouldn’t know such things.
I started this year as a supporter of Hillary. I knew her to be a good person (although I had a hard time with her vote for the war powers act). But when I saw this good person attacking Obama, a fellow Democrat, and attacking him viciously, I decided to take another look at Obama. He was, after all, the alternative to Hillary. I liked what I saw (where I had increasingly not liked what I saw in her).
Hillary brought her downfall on herself, and now we see her supporters, the Pumas, mouthing her same arguments, or garbled versions of them. Our country, and all of us who live in it, will be the worse for these know-nothings.
How you can still stand by Obama after all his backtracking is beyond me…what does he actually stand for? how can you vote for someone who doesn’t have the backbone to take a firm stand on anything? now-he is drilling offshore-so WHY should I vote for him over McCain? The democratic party needs a good slap in the face–get rid of those currently in power-and back on track–yes, we will have lost our chance at a slam dunk election-but electing obama is as a wise man said “a throw of the dice” and snake eyes to boot-PUMA is right on track
John: “The only other victory under TRIPLE DIGITS in the last 10 cycles was Carter’s over Ford.”
Though perhaps I should have been more clear, I was referring about recent elections, of course–and each of the last two presidential elections came down to a single state (Florida in 2000, Ohio in 2004), as did control of the Senate in the last Congressional election (Virginia, 2006). And as you suggested, Bush I may not have won without Perot in the race.
I do not understand why Obama is not being given more scrutiny. Don’t people know that Liberation Theology, taught to him through his cronies and minister, is nothing more than Marxism removed by one generation?
The press is yellow. It takes too much work to do investigative reporting. Even with a computer, cellphone and the internet. What happened to the real reporters? sigh.
stf
the obama supporters need to think where the best place to change things is the senatee or congress. obama has made a lot of changes. he changed his mind about pulling our fine troops out of iraq and bringing them home. he changed his mind about counting the florida and michigan delegates at the convention. he tried to say that he listened to a racist, unamerican preacher for twenty years, louis farrakahn, michael ayers, and rezko and it did not change him to have the same views. his wife was only proud of this country when he decided to run for president. her whitey thesis in college was racist, but the media found a way to sugar coat it all. i would like to see any bill that he sponsored, or cosponsored while he was in the senate. i would also like to see the bank account’s of oprah winfrey, louis farrakahn, michael ayers, and rezko to see how much money was funneled into his campaign. i have sent numerous letters to the dnc about their rules for the nomination process . i think when you have more popular votes during the primary that you should be the nominee. not like the general election which is by the constitution and the number of electors for each state. the republican party has been waiting for him to be the candidate. if people think they robbed al gore or swift boated john kerry they aint seen nothing like the trash they will expose on obama. all of the trash on hillary has been gone over and over again so all people know how strong she is to take all that and still be such a strong senator and dedicated reprsentive for the american people. news media get your act together and treat both fair in the media and give them equal time.
I do find a interesting irony in many of these posts… The obama DNC is the john kerry DNC is the DNC of the last o 20 years maybe longer… yet only now are Dems waking up to their own party and seeing it for what it really is. Why has it been in the last 10-20 years these actions and behaviors were perfectly fine when directed at the evil republicans but when Dems use the same tactics vs other Dems suddenly its wrong. The DNC is held together by racism, sexism, prejudice and hatred… it stays together as long as those viewed are projected toward anyone thats not “approved” by dems… Both obama and hillary tried to play the victim card and obama played it better… Now some dems are all bent because their “victimized” group wasn’t as important as another “victimized” group… get over it your all still whiny victims of stupidity.
As for this
“tehori:
What a bunch of whining women, why not be honest and state that it is the colour of Obama’s skin that will stop you from voting for him.

Lay of the crack man… first we only ask the euro trash for support to make them(and NATO) look important… everyone knows that Euros for the most part are insanely cowardly and have zero armed forces. Other then the UK the rest of europe couldn’t deploy a school field trip without the US army holding it hand. Its not the US that will be having mass drafts in the near future… europe likely will once the US gets tired of holding your hand and paying your way. If you remove the UK the US could easily invade and take over most of the EU while still keeping iraq and afgan in check… it may take 2-3 years to take over the whole of the EU but being most would surrender in the first year or so it will hardly be a bloody affair… at least for the US troops.
Obama was so lauded by the press that here in the Philippines, he is assumed to be a shoe in for the next president.
Yet I analyzed the numbers and Hillary either lost by 30thousand votes in the primaries, or she won…the caucuses put Obama over the top. Just check the numbers of the Texas caucus vs the Texas primary and you’ll see how a caucus could give 2/3 of the delates to Obama, but when Hillary won a primary she was given “proportional” numbers, maybe one or two more than Obama…
Some one explain to this ignorant ass WHAT IS A POD PEOPLE???
I voted for Bill and backed Hillary till Election day in Ohio, and what I witnessed while working the polls, I voted for Obama!! The Clintons need to get over it she lost and 2012 will be know different, they should be helping Obama and the party now not making things worse, Someone needs to grow up and move on and be an adult11 Hillary should have dumped her husband when she had the chance and maybe she would have won, but now she is acting like him.
I said at the beginning of the process I’d be comfortable supporting any Democrat. Then Hillary won me over with her thoroughness and knowledge, I want competent people in Gov. Never bought the ‘I was against the war from the start’ meme. Obama made a speech in a very obscure event in a very liberal environment, a very safe play, and never ever touched it again. He didn’t say a word about it in his much celebrated ’04 Convention speech. They even scrubbed any reference of it from their website. He never voted against it when he had the opportunity.
Anyway, he and his campaign absolutely disgusted me with the racism-baiting, which nobody wanted to hear about then, and now ‘the chicken came home to roost’ with McCain.
His surrogates, specially Jesse Jackson Jr. leaned hard on AA :”you don’t want to be person who prevented the first black President”, and “you might find some young primary challenger running against you”, and Hillary ‘cried in New Hampshire but she didn’t cry when Katrina’, and Clyburn worked very hard to stir up AA against Bill Clinton, and Michelle Obama said about black Hillary suporters ‘they better wake up!’, Obama himself in front of AA audiences said the Clintons wanted to ‘bamboozle, hoodwink them’ code words famously used by Malcolm X, and on and on.
An then there was the shameless push from party officials to prop Obama up at all cost, and to keep a complicit silence in the face of incredible disrespect of Ms. Clinton in the MSM and ‘progressive’ blogs.
African American pride I can understand, but using white guilt will not work in the GE and we’re seing the poll numbers now.
I will not reward this kind of behavior and tactics with my vote in November.
I will vote for McCain as the lesser evil, I will vote AGAINST OBAMA.
The pushieness of the Obama people the night of the Iowa Caususes turned me against him. They imported people into the Caucuses from Illinois, at my precint alone there were four Illinois Vans enough to change the outcome of the caucus along with one pushie little Bit-h from the Obama headquarters.
i’m a republican since nixon that was fully intended on voting for Clinton. all obama is was a protest vote against clinton, and now the the evaporation of his support backs that up.
i’m now voting for MCcain, and praying for the best
The DNC made up their mind months ago that they wanted obama to be their candidate. The debacle in the primaries in Florida and Michigan prove that. Clinton won, and did not get the delegates. During the rest of the campaign it was talked about that those state would get to seat half their delegates and now that the DNC thinks their “chosen one” is a shoe-in for the nomination, they say they will seat all the delegates and let them vote. Sirely I am not the only person who sees the wrongness here.
I really can’t believe that any woman would actually vote for John McCain. He came home from Vietnam and dumped his lovong, waiting wife, Carol McCain, because she was disabled from a car accident on Christmas Eve. John McCain is one of those politicians who treats women like disposable trash.
Why don’t you people admit to being racist and call it a day. I am sick to death of all of you and that includes McCain. You have not suffered enough under Bush yet. McCain will should you exactly what time it is and trust me, you will learn what suffering is all about. I cannot wait.

I agree 100%. Like many Democrats, it hurt to see the leaders of the Democratic party throw away Democracy. They completely fooled me for years. Brazile’s friendship with Karl Rove and their intent to destroy the Clintons blew me away. Donna Brazile is one sick racist person. Nancy Pelosi is one sick power crazy person. I will never want to see an all Democratic controlled Congress again, nor Republican either. One party controlling everything will finish destroying this country. I thought an all Democratic controlled Congress and Senate would be great for this country. Not after seeing Pelosi and her gang of thugs in action. Obama is a puppet and Pelosi will be pulling his strings. Especially after seeing how corrupt the leaders of the DNC controlled this primary. It has nothing to do with Hillary Clinton but everything to do with a corrupt primary with corruption everywhere. Anytime Democracy leaves any political party it’s no better than the way a third world country treats Democracy.
Has anyone ever given thought as to where all the money is comming from for Obama? I personally belive it is mostly terrorist money and that the terrorist have groomed Obama for years to infiltrate our goverment and destroy us from within. Look at the long range plans put into 911, This could be even a longer plan. If Obama was a plant and got into the highest office in our land think what he could do. Our country would be at their mercy. We could not make a move that the terrorist did not know about and the fact he wants to do away with out right to bear arms is another way of removing our ability to fight back agains terrorism. I will be 78 come election time and bet your life I will be standing at the head of the voting line to do my part in seeing that Obama is sent packing. Thanks and please think long and hard about what I have said.
Hillary Clinton did not get enough votes to win the party’s candidacy. WHAT IS THE PROBLEM? That is the way our system works. Seems like a group of immature, whacko-liberals, are squalling like a three year old simply because they did not get their way. Both Clintons are closet socialists and B.O. is a closet Muslim. McCain is the answer to all this. Pelosi is a loose cannon deck.
The Republicans are really slick. I don’t know anybody who believes this junk. I called Susan Estrich an she said this is a bunch of lies led by Republican bloggers.
I will never use AOL again because I know what they are up to, also.
Dirty Politics are alive and well.
The only thing that could make this group more ignorant is to find out that it was spawned by the Clintons who are hell-bent on being President once more! Are you sure you’re Democrats, or are you a GOP group seeking to divide the Democrats in order to win the election.
Well, whoever you are, your fight is baseless, childish and destructive to the hope for Change in Washington and restoration for America. With such pettiness, America is doomed to destroy itself from within should you get your ‘own’ way! How sad!
P.S. Has Hillary paid off her $25 million debt as yet – why don’t you help her that way – she sure needs HELP!
Jerry you are a damn idiot. Just because Obama wasn’t born with a silver spoon in his mouth or married to some little rich tramp doesn’t mean he can’t raise money. I’m sure evey cent of his campaign contributions can be tracked to US citizens such as myself. As for all of you Hillary supporters you need to get over it and help the Democrats win this race. If we lose because of sore loser like you Hillary can forget her chances of ever running for president or anything else.

I think that all of the above tells me that this really is a GOP sponsored group. Good job! But you won’t fool me or any intelligent, thinking Americans.
We will all vote with good sense, for:
Obama ’08
I am an afro-american in total agreement with the above article. Obama is making a terrible mistake by ignoring Hillary. He will lose this election because of his arrogrance and disregard for those of us that supported Hillary during the campaign. Has Obama looked at the polls lately? Has he realized his lead erroding. Why? Democrats for Hillary are considering voting and voting for a republican in this election. I realize that by voting for McCain I am ensuring that the Supreme court, which sets the laws of the land, will set the clock back for afro americans. I beg of the Obama camp STOP AND REMEMBER that 18 million voters for Hillary are still out there with voting power. You need her to win the election.
I get kicked how Omaha is trying to buy votes…..$1,000/family rebate LOL
The PUMA’s are an interesting group. On one hand you need to admire that they are standing up to something they think is wrong and trying to force change (we need more of that). I can understand not wanting to vote for an empty suit. Unfortunately, they are doing it for a person who is not deserving of there work. Hillary is one of the last things this country needs, geez, people think Bush is bad. The other problem they have is they really are just winging it and don’t know there facts. The woman in the article, Murphy, does not understand the Democratic primary process or the role of the super-delegates enough to give correct information to her followers. Her people like to call Obama supporters “bots” when they themselves constantly post messages waiting for Murphy to tell them what to do. Then they all send the same exact emails and faxes to there spamming targets. Note to the PUMAs, SPAM never works, it just annoys people and makes you all look like Murphy-Bots. Another interesting thing about her site is all she really does is ask for money. She wants money for this project and then the next. When she does not get it, she begs and pleads for them to send her more. Wonder where that money will go when they do not get there busses, or her movie does not get made. I’ll bet there will be plenty of “admin” costs associated with her pet projects.
Aren’t we all lucky that the only two choices we have for our next president come from a group with a lower approval rating than George?
I can’t believe Barack Obama is still an Illinois Senator after his support of treason for 20 years. Hillary Clinton may have exaggerated the truth or lied for that matter but, never I say never supported treason in any way shape or form. She won OUR vote, the people voted Her our choice and the DNC slapped us down. We Americans cannot allow this to continue, we have to be heard and seen in Denver now thru the convention.
My God you guys sound like blogers for Mc Cain, I for lack of a better choice must vote for McCain this fall. Your candidate got hosed by that LYING POS. she was sucker punched by the media time and time again. Big BILL didnt help her cause much, and she made some poor judgement calls, but the DNC completely blind sided her and that was her undoing. Pelosi Reid and the bunch IM sure cheered for joy. Her nomination was never going to happen because she had to many people unwilling to let that take place. The media has chosen their president, the people dont have any say anymore. Personally Hillary should demand a recount at the convention, and put that empty suit back where he belongs Illinois corrupt government
Why won’t Barack Obama debate John McCain in a town hall meeting? Afraid someone in the audience might ask a question about his past?
And no debates till AFTER the convention, AFTER the super delegates vote.
He won’t allow her name to be placed in nomination at the convention, even though it’s always been done that way. I hear it’s a secret ballot, he’s probably afraid the super delegates he gave so much money to might vote for Clinton.
I voted for Hillary Clinton and I am very sorry that Obama is taking her spot. The best that we could hope is that she would accept the vice presidency and hopefully he could learn from her experience. He can always make a change ,but he needs someone to guide him, not buy him…
If you Hillraisers do not believe that a great portion of your 18M voters were never true Demos, but rather Repubs as Operation Chaos and some just wanting to see a woman president, then why cannot you pissed-off supporters retire her campaign debt already? Let me tell you why, because most of your 18M cracks, cannot accept the truth, YOU HAVE REFUSED TO DEAL WITH THE TRUTH — Hillary lost — that most have gone back to the Republican Camp and donating there…left Hilly spinning in the dust and wanting to wrestle funds from Obama supporters for her debt. Help your girl out. If each of you would send JUST $2 each, consider her debt gone. Why can’t that happen…YOU GO FIGURE. And for those who want to support McCain instead of Obama, GET THE FACTS. The bitterness, hate, animosity, filth and blatant racism in the foregoing comments; reminds of early january 1952. I was sent to a marine training base in the deep south. It was Paris Island, South Carolina. I was being trained to kill north koreans. The law outside of the main gate prevented me, a US.marine who was black from buying a meal to riding on the front of public transportation. Say what you mean. “We do not want a person of color to be the president of these UNITED STATES.”

Sorry, but not just any black gets my vote. Give me a Colin Powell or a Ken Blackwell or a Condaleeza Rice and I’ll give you my vote. Slick-talking demagogues scare me. I’m surprised a sophisticated jarhead like you would fall for his line of bull.
Is this site a refuge for the lunatic fringe?
thank you being a democrat lifelong the only choice i have is to write her in.The dnc can suck it,is anyone looking into the crimes that took place during this process? We as a nation are in so much trouble,so much more, than we would like to believe or think we need a smart moderate thinker and she was put aside, why?
When all the Kool-Aid is drunk and gone, when the Anointed One has finally finished finessing his statements into universally acceptable and meaningless statements that have been panel tested to perfection, when he has demonstrated beyond any reasonable doubt that the sole, solid, and consistent backbone of his otherwise tender political career is never having met an ambiguity he didn’t like, the question still remains why he’d be any bit better than the current occupant of the White House.
Changing one inexperienced doofus who was also driven into the White House on a wave of visceral hope for change isn’t exactly a winning strategy for those pursuing actual improvement, or so I care to think.
The days of demanding party discipline for the sake of unity itself are over: that’s what the Soviets did, and they don’t have much to show for it, either. Nobama, period. Party Unity My A$$!
It’s really unfortunate that the dem party big tops decided to push the least electable candidate for the presidency: AGAIN.
Hillary won the the main big blue dem states, the main purple swing states; she received more physical votes from the People; she was outspent 4 to 1 in places like PA, but kept winning; she was attacked by the media non stop, but kept winning, even while the media protected and promoted Obama–never vetting him; her own party turned on her: endorsing Obama even after she won the states they represent, and all the while Obama won red states by caucus, which matters for zilch in the General Election. On top of that, exit polls showed that more Hillary voters would NOT vote for Obama, while more Obama supporters said they WOULD vote for Hillary if she was the candidate. Besides that, the electoral map clearly showed that she was the one to beat McCain. It’s complete lunacy to boost the candidate who will definitely lose in the fall. Sheer stupidity.
This entire primary season, from the disgusting racial accusations to the misogyny in the media (and from Obama’s camp), to the non-stop pathological lies spewing from Obama’s mouth, to Michigan and Florida, and all the horrors of the caucuses–never MIND how abusive Obama’s supporters have been…I’m telling you, there is not a chance in hell that I will ever vote Obama, and I’ve been a democrat my entire life.
Hillary or McCain.
Never Obama.

Thank you, Ms. Rubin, on this piece on PUMA. I am a Hillary supporter who will not vote for Obama. I am voting for McCain, a true patriot and the only one with the experience for the most powerful political office in the world.
I am an Obama supporter that won’t vote on a ticket with Clinton on it. Simple as that. Pure shrill is what this is all about. Join David Duke. That’s more the party for you. The Clintons’ are looser Republicans. Screw them.
Hey SFDave…typical Obama supporter…David Duke? Yea that’s right…anyone who does not support your Obama…must be a racists!!! Well, I have no white guilt so I am voting Mc Cain!!! I have no love for Hillary BUT….one thing about her and Mc Cain…they always say they are American Citizens…Obama says he is a Citizen of the World. Hillary never scared me…but Obama for President does. Whatever it takes to keep him out of the White House!!! I have given to Hillary during the primaries to fight Obama….I now am giving to McCain to fight Obama…unlike Obama, McCain is not getting money from terrorists in the Middle East…did you see the news today? Obama has gotten $30,000.00 from Hamas brothers…his campaigb says they gave it back…the brothers say Obama has NOT!!! Hillary supports the Jewish/Palistine State like McCain…Obama’s website has the most horrible blogging about killing Jews and putting more in Ovens! MMMMM sounds to me like the real KKK is in the Obama camp. or just maybe Neo-Nazis.
Jeez, where to begin!!! First of all I am a fourty one year old female American citizen. I am also a part of a multy race family, my grandfather was, Iranian, my grand mother was a white American citizen, on my mother’s side. My grandfather, on my father’s side is a black American, citizen, and my grandmother is a white American citizen. I am just a women of a very diverse, though definatley not “typical”, background!!! And to top it off, I am in color as white as they come, with red hair, and blue eye’s! This is not the point, however. The point is this, RACE, has not a damn thing to do with the issue at hand! That is just another cop out, by “Obama-Osama”!!! I am sick of hearing in the media, and his(Obama),supporter’s, making this out to be about race!!! Race is far from the issue!!! But since they are grabbing at straw’s, this is the easiest issue for them to, play into!!! Surley anyone with any intelligence, can see what a ploy this is!!! Obama say’s he is a citizen of the World? Lol, I have more of the “world” running through my vein’s, than he does!!! The God complex applies here, with one exception, it is a complex, but God has nothing to do with it, if you get my drift!!! I am sure that most those of you who read this, will think that I am a few brick’s shy of a load, and that’s cool. I am not trying to convince anyone to change thier way of thinking, this just my opinion, and for the moment,I am still free to express it!!! However, I do not see that freedom avaible in “our” future, so I am taking advantage of it while I still can!!!
To my utter dismay, and fear, my oldest son graduated high school in 01, and enlisted in the Airforce, and was shipped after six week’s to Iraq. He re-uped, and is still in Iraq defending “our’,( American citizen’s), country. My next son, is hell bent on joining the United States, Navy Seal’s!!! And I just recently learned that my youngest son has been talking with a recruter of the Marine force!!!
Well, my name is not “Ryan”!!! As in saving private Ryan!!! I am a concerned mother, and American citizen!!! I want someone to bring our troop’s home!!! I want a Leader who is not afraid to do the right thing!!! One who is for the people, one who care’s and work’s for the people, one who listen’s with open ear’s, one who is not afraid to buck the system, one who has a consience, as well as a heart, and will fight for “us”, no matter the cost!!! That person would only have been Hillary R.Clinton!!!!!!!!!!!
It is true that she supported the war in the beginning, but who the hell did not? I too was thought it was justified, for all of about 3 month’s!!!
I did not vote for Bush the first time, and I did not vote at all the second time!!! However, for a couple of month’s, during 9/11, I was almost a Bush, fan. But it did not take long for me to see thru the smoke screen, that he presented to the citizen’s, of America!!!
I could go on and on, but I will spare you all of my opinion’s, as everyone has thier own, and most could careless about mine. I will say in closing that I am a proud member of: Hillstar’s Will Remember in November,Hillraiser’s,and Puma!!!
Granted I am still unsure about my vote in november, the one thing I do,know with any doubt!!!, is that it will alway’s be, for me, NO Osama-Obama!!!
Janica says:
I really can’t believe that any woman would actually vote for John McCain. He came home from Vietnam and dumped his lovong, waiting wife, Carol McCain, because she was disabled from a car accident on Christmas Eve. John McCain is one of those politicians who treats women like disposable trash.
Wouldn’t it be a good idea to find out what Carol has to say about John? I hear they are on good terms. What have you heard?
If I was disabled and couldn’t provide my wife with the comforts she deserved I’d certainly want her to get her needs met in what ever way she thought best. I love her.
Great article on PUMA. Thanks.
Yes, the DNC is completely dysfunctional.
What other political party is so stupid that they ignore the candidate who got the most votes in the primaries, in order to hand-pick the candidate who was LOSING as they were hand-picking him?
Seriously, can the DNC possibly get any dumber?
COUNTRY ABOVE PARTY …
Obama is proving to be a weak candidate. I hope there is a floor vote at the convention, and a stunning upset whereby Hillary Clinton replaces Barack, as the Democratic nominee for November … I’ll certainly vote for her, but if Obama continues to be the Democratic nominee … I’m voting for Senator John McCain in November.
Nags, Hillary is not saying anything because her deal will surely elect John McCain as president. Bill Clinton arranged to save his face and not be the first husband, nor watch his wife be not only the first woman president but also end a war. Obama was Clinton hand picked canidate, is not Hillary from Illinois. The deal have her being named to the first open seat on the Supreme Court. How can anyone in the Senate question the integrity of one of its own.
REPLACE OBAMA WITH HILLARY AT THE CONVENTION …
1. Contrary to what Obamabots say …
Obama and Hillary were in a dead heat,
when the DNC pressured Hillary into not
only conceding, but campaigning for Obama.
2. Obama is once again in a dead heat, but now
with McCain, even though Obamabots act like
Obama has already won (like they did in the
primaries against Hillary). So, this means that
half of the Democrats, and all the Republicans
(3/4 of America) dIdn’t want Obama. Plus, he
didn’t even win the popular vote, and refused a
revote in Michigan and Florida.
3. Obama has the thinnest resume in politics, and
he won state legislature and Senator by
disqualifications of his opponents, not by earned
experience, or votes.
4. Obama’s one claim to fame is being a community
organizer, where he boasts of registering voters.
Then he took their votes away from them, by
disqualifying his opponents on technicalities, prior
to the election.
5. Obama’s mentor of 20 years, was an anti-American
racist … not to mention other unsavory associations.
6. Obama is simply buying the election, since he’s
good at fund raising … hardly a qualification to be
President of the United States.
7. The media never vetted Obama, and they are
giving him a free ride, plus more than twice the
print and air time as McCain, as they did against
Hillary.
8. 90% of blacks are voting for Obama, because he is
black, while the campaign gained ground by
accusing most opponents of racism.
9. Obamabots were, and are extremely nasty and sarcastic
towards Hillary supporters, as well as McCain supporters.
10. Pumas should be applauded for putting country before party …
especially a party that did not represent them, and a party
which highjacked the nomination for Obama.
IF HILLARY DOESN’T REPLACE OBAMA, ELECT MCCAIN IN NOVEMBER …
I was a leader of PUMA PAC in June and stopped working to promote Darragh Murphy’s PAC when I realized that she appeared to be collecting tens of thousands of dollars only to squander them to the great damage of the entire Party Unity, My A~~ movement.
I created http://www.NotFallingInLine.org so that I could continue with the letter-writing campaigns, but Murphy then cancelled my membership at PUMA PAC, apparently for no other reason than because my advertising the letters to the members of PUMA PAC was disrupting her money-collecting organization.
I have begun to speak out against Darragh Murphy in order to protect the members of PUMA PAC. Ironically, as they fight unaccountable leaders of the Democratic Party, some of them refuse to listen. Of course, a few of them had appeared to me all along to be nothing more than Republicans who are working hard to stir up Hillary supporters and to promote Jerome Corsi’s book and Ed Hale’s smear-mongering broadcasts (the kind that only an unprincipled, swift-boating Republican can like), but I did think that the real Democrats among them would see the irony in what they are doing.
Frankly, the low-budget video that Darragh produced appears to have been made by Republicans who don’t think very highly of Democrats rather than by Democrats who are really concerned about what has happened and is happening to their party.
Darragh Murphy is the Barack Obama of the JustSayNoDeal coalition.

I hate to say it, but nobody throws a whine tasting party like the PUMA Pac girls who refuse to admit that, for them, the fat lady sang in early June; that their pudge ball princess in pants suits, the one with the crazy laugh, who displays her flabby figure in all its cellulitic glory, lost.
Hillary called every primary win a win. And every primary loss a win. Miss doubletalk, though, is not going to doublecross the American people. Like a two bit thief, Obama knows that she’ll try to steal her way into the Democratic convention and steal the nomination from his preeminence.
Ladies, it ain’t a gonna happen.
Not only are we wise to the dastardly deeds that Hillary plans to carry out leading up to and during the convention, but, if she tries anything funny, she could end up the laughingstock of the country. We’re not ruling out the possibity that Obama may decide to castigate her devious intentions and evil ways in full public view. And don’t forget, he has the complete resources of MSNBC to draw on.
So take our advice, ladies, and “Just get over it”. Go back to wherever you’re from and get on with your lives in Podunk or Peroia or wherever you creatures care to live and breed. The great Obama and the beautiful Michelle are the winners. And you noisy hens are the losers.
Let’s face it, America knows full well that Hillary would have been a nightmare as President because, for one thing, she was a certifiable train wreck as first lady. Fact of the matter, she was the buffoon’s buffoon doing everything from misplacing her law firm’s billing records to calling the Monica affair a “Right wing conspiracy.” She had a husband who’s comprehensive energy policy started and ended with getting a good night’s sleep when Monica was due to visit the next day.
You girls lost not because Chris Matthews made fun of Hillary, but because she couldn’t connect with everyday people, the kind of people who work hard every day, raise their kids to know right from wrong, go to church, live by the golden rule and hope to scrape enough money together to send their kids to college and have a retirement where they can be financially independent, beholden to no one. Not needing government to provide food, clothing and shelter. They don’t want much, just a decent life, living in a country they’re proud of. These are the people who fly the flag proudly, and believe in the ideals and traditions that make this country great.
A suggestion. Maybe you’d do better to make the beautiful Michelle your role model. If Barack ever strayed, I dare say, she’d boil his beans in oil.
And it is Obama’s deeply held belief that women who worship Hillary and try every which way to make excuses why she lost, are, in the final analysis, trying to fill a significant void in their lives. Recently, Barack laughingly said of your psychophantically based pack mentality; what you Hillary groupies need in order to fill the void in your lives isn’t a political goal, but, rather, an emotional connection with a man. One who gives you the attention you deserve and has the ability to make you feel like a woman. Barack believes that it’s time ladies like you stopped being a form of Hillary doll who’s so wound up in Hillary worship that, at night, it whines itself to sleep, holding tight to dreams that will never come true.
But you’re not a doll.
Isn’t it time, instead, that you believed in something truly worthwhile and wonderful?
Isn’t it time you believed in Barack. We think so. Because he represents the heart and soul of the Democratic party. He personifies the kind of change we can all, Democrats and Republicans alike, believe in.
And, like fine wine, he’ll just get better with age.
Rachel,
Great effort wooing the disaffected Hillary voters and the people in fly-over country Obama may need to win the election.
I wish you total success in your efforts. Keep it up.
rachel can stay and type all she wants. at least she is then not out there bashing people elsewhere like the rest of the cult.
Obama seems like a nice man. He dresses well and is a good speaker. None of which qualifies him to be our President !
Here is a good way to poke fun at Obama and fire up the Hillary supporters — http://www.obama2020store.com
