‘Forward’ into a March of Mayhem
At the podium of higher learning, Obama relied on his smooth and seductive teleprompter manner to overshadow hard-hitting truths. Tell them what they want to hear. Let them eat cake, and everything is for free–and if not, it should be. Everyone is entitled to free. Obama free.
Hear the cheers! Hear the chants! Hear the roar of the coliseum! However, it is these college kids who are being thrown into the lion’s den. Free in the context of Obama’s handouts really means: free rewards that eventually expire.
After the cheering stops, students seeking scholastic enlightenment and ensuing employment will eventually run up against reason, and reality bites.
Student loan debt is expected to hit a staggering $1 trillion. This brings up the question: Who is going to be saddled with this debt? They will. One way or another they will pay for the student loans–either literally or with their income taxes–because nothing is for free and the debt must be paid.
And that’s assuming they can find a job. A floundering economy has rendered half of young college graduates either jobless or underemployed, and job outlooks fell to the lowest level in more than a decade for graduates holding a bachelor’s degree.
And teenagers looking for jobs are having a hard time because they are now competing with older, more experienced workers.
However, the Obama maintaining mantra is “ignorance is bliss.” Keep kids ignorant about Republicanism, the virtues of free enterprise, and the law of the land and perhaps they won’t realize the scam. What they don’t know won’t hurt them.
Yet entitlement cometh before the fall.
Obama feeds the entitlement mentality. Generations of kids have been taught to believe that government knows best and the government owes them.
With comments like “I’m confident that the Supreme Court will not take what would be an unprecedented, extraordinary step of overturning a law that was passed by a strong majority of a democratically elected congress,” it’s obvious that Obama is hoping that kids, and adults, don’t know any better. Ignorance is the paramount requirement for government takeover.
Yet as kids peer into the pot of gold at the end of the Obamabow, they only see the empty well that swallows freedom, dignity, and the human spirit. “Hope and change” has become “wait and see.” Forward is really a march into the mayhem of make-believe. Posterity will pay–one way or another.

If this throwback fascist monstrosity wins reelection this November the mask will come completely off and he will go into a freedom killing frenzy.

Considering that the average undergraduate spends four years in a contemporary liberal arts college under the tutelage of a predminately leftwing faculty, having been taught few skills that would prepare him-her-transgender for the real world, saddled with debt that mainly benefits the institution and its employees, it seems extremely doubtful that the graduate would decline the gimmee. In fact, it would be irrational. If the ship is doomed to sink,one might as well party. Absent some profound changes in the modern college curriculumm and a radical shift in the attitude of the faculty, we can look forward to a burgeoning mass of self-centered, resentful, demanding,and unmotivated poorly educated youth wondering what went wrong?
They won’t be wondering; they’ll “know” what went wrong: The Man took all their stuff and won’t give it back! F@%&!
As has been said before, you’d be mad as well if you had just sent four years of you life in school spent fifty thousand dollars and came out just as stupid as when you started.

Remora survive by preening a shark’s scales; that’s how they nourish themselves. It’s also a service to the shark, of course. But the important point here is that the remora needs the shark for its survival. It’s helpless without that huge predatory beast to assure it of food.
What self-respecting collegian would want to see himself as the helpless dependant of an enormous, merciless predator?
The children of trendy Sixties anti-establishment types. Their parents were their role models, and the ‘rents were all about “bringin’ down the Man”.
Having been coddled by their progenitors, fawned over, cooed over, and told they are “great” and “special” and “wonderful” their entire lives, they see themselves as superior to all others. And conclude that all others exist only to serve them. A worldview nurtured by their radical professors, who believe the same thing.
These are the people who think that after an Islamist triumph, they will be running things because the primitive Islamists (strong but stupid) will realize they aren’t smart enough to do so. And so will beg the “enlightened ones” to rule the Brave New World, with the Islamists as their adoring acolytes.
Islamists, Socialists, Nihilists, or the RedJac Entity (“Die! Kill you all! Make you suffer! Diediediediedie…”, etc.), it makes no difference. They will always seek out the most dangerous, irrational predator to attach themselves to. Partly to benefit from the predator’s depredations, and partly in the (mistaken) belief that the predator will be dependent upon them and never eat them.
But mostly so they can live their fantasies of being powerful predators themselves vicariously, with no risk. (They think.) As long as the real predator is doing the dirty work, they can keep their hands clean, appear to be virtuous, and still have the thrill of seeing all they have been raised to despise crumble before their eyes.
They are like the fawning little toady who follows the school bully around, and holds the school nerd while the bully beats him up and steals his lunch money. They don’t take any real risk, and they get a cut of the take.
That is, until the predator runs out of other victims.
On the plus side, they will have the privilege of being eaten last. Even if they do not realize that they, too, are on the menu.

Democrats’ offer is something like this:

I’ll clear away roadblocks and provide the opportunity for you to make $200k/year and beyond.
Romney might ask young people, Which of these is your dream? Which is your idea of the American dream?
This idea was floated early in the Obama presidency. You have a student loan obligation. In order to pay off the loan you are offered a government job that has a fixed term of maybe 10 years or so that will allow you to pay off the obligation one way or another. One condition of this employment is that you must join the SEIU. After the term is served you will have accrued seniority that will be applicable toward generous retirement and healthcare benefits should you remain in government employment from which it will be virtually impossible to be fired. And from all this springs an entire generation consisting of tens of thousands loyal Democrats as well as brainwashed socialists to support the new utopia. Slick, ain’t it? Also, remember the national service corps (“corpse” according to The One) idea, or was it a national police force? I forget, but I am sure that we will find out as we press “Forward!” into the second term and all sorts of wonderfully creative ideas abound for amortizing the trillion dollar student loans. At any rate, there is hope for you if you have a $75,000 student loan debt and a BA in gender studies providing that you work to re-elect The Chosen One!

Obama is traveling around with candy and crack in hand trying to make co-dependent junkies out of the vulnerable and the easily swayed.

The empty calories of “soak the rich dry” and eventually the mainlining on reckless debt…and he won’t get the men, so he has to “turn” the women and children.
“We will get at you through your youth”. First, partner up with the celebrity circle and feed them their hedonism on a silver platter. Reckless behavior is exalted and whitewashed. Rehab is is weigh station, nothing more.
Then, steal and command the information stream. Keep the people from knowing truth, distort it at every turn.
Grab academia and indoctrinate with the in loco parenti . Every good revolutionary knows that the quiet, patrician, reserved nature of non-leftist America will not resist unless provoked. Hide it, camouflage it, never let the mask drop.
Sedition. Treason. Treachery. Overthrow. Revolution.
Dressed up in a suit and tie, saying soothing words and selling candy and crack out of a permanent campaign vehicle.

They, the students, the wishful idealists, the something for nothing crowds, and the comfort zone achievers greatly underestimate the horrors of the safety net. One would think/hope that the safety net is a construct of compassion to protect the truely downtrodden.
That great web which the power player politicos weave is a capture net which binds each and every one of us into a gridlock of servitude. There is no exit to the constraints of a government nannystate, hence only the depression of captivity can insue. They are trading their votes and their life times for a handful of dimes.
What makes the young generation so insecure in their endowments that they would forgo self-reliance? What alliance with payment in promises would seduce them away from the excitement of risk? What part of ‘freedom’ is guarenteed forward forever?

The most famous modern use of “Forward” to characterize a major political effort was in the “Great Leap Forward,” in China, sixty years ago. We know President Obama has lamented that he’s not president of China, because it’s so much easier to run things there. Is there a little sublimated wishful thinking in his choice of his new campaign slogan?
Of course, the Great Leap Forward didn’t turn out too well for the people of China. But Mao stayed in power, and launched the Cultural Revolution a few years later. So if “Forward” is the slogan for the Obama campaign, would “Cultural Revolution” be the slogan for the second term?

“The Man Who Shot Osama bin Laden”
On this, the day after the first anniversary of the untimely death of master terrorist and mass murderer Osama bin Laden, since we have seemingly escaped Islamic retaliation for that cleansing of the planet, Americans should all rejoice that we have our president.
By now, Osama’s sorry carcass has been consumed by ravenous fishes not very selective about what they eat and it seems altogether fitting and proper to honor the man most responsible for ridding the world of the vermin that once was bin Laden.
While the courageous men of SEAL Team Six may have technically pulled the triggers at the vermin’s slummy compound in beautiful, downtown Abbottabad, every reasonable person knows in their heart of hearts that President Barack Hussein Obama deserves the credit.
Accordingly, for the reader’s listening and viewing pleasure, I am reprising Paul Shanklin’s memorable rendition of “The Man Who Shot Osama bin Laden,” which was first heard on Rush Limbaugh’s radio show last May.
The song had been removed by YouTube due to alleged “copyright infringements” but, thanks to my tireless searching and in the interests of providing a public service, I have been able to retrieve it. WARNING: The presentation is replete with graphic graphics showing the deceased bin Laden in all his inglorious, dead splendor.
False rumors have been circulating that our heroic leader was somewhat less of a hero and failed to provide any leadership at all during the tense hours leading up to his finest foreign policy achievement. They are all poppycock!
Americans should disregard as meaningless multiple reports that our president was so upset over the prospect of killing another human being a year ago that he retreated from the White House Situation Room, went to bed, and left the momentous decision to either then-CIA Director Leon Panetta or Special Ops Admiral William McRaven. . .

If the question is the measure of the political activism of the college age cohort, then Obama has very little chance of motivating them. I’m a college teacher (adjunct), constantly using political examples and analogies to make my point.
Although college students certainly jerk their knees to the left, I have very few students who show any interest in the campaign. Simplest questions of fact draw no response. Of those who are interested,, the majority seem conservative or libertarian (to be sure, I live in a conservative area).
Ditto. I teach in a somewhat conservative area (southern Idaho), and students are either utterly unaware of politics, or somewhat conservative because they don’t trust politicians very much. The VERY few who seem to have any strong political sentiments are generally liberal, but they are astonishingly scarce. Even adult students that I had at ITT Technical Institute, who were desperately poor, living on food stamps (or whatever it is called today) were generally quite conservative, and skeptical of Democratic appeals.
Mitt Romney is as connected to – or removed from reality as much as Barak Obama. his ‘message’ only makes sense in a market and culture that supports the habits and values that sustains such a deal. For the present, all we need of Mitt is to stop stoking the debt furnace. Oh….. and that his delusions are less harmful than those of Obama………
Mr. Romney needs to take the gloves off. He needs to defend how he created his wealth, how anyone can do this in a free market, but cannot in a Democratic-Party-controlled economy. He needs to defend the greatness of business as a process, and most businesses as moral entities creating wealth and jobs.
And some other stuff, none of which should respond to Obama’s “war on women”, “inequality” and the 1% brand marketing endeavor. In fact he should mention the 55% of income-taxpayers versus the 45% of non-income-taxpayers and deride and laugh at the 99 vs 1.
It’s “Ohio University,” not “the University of Ohio.” Look it up, FCOL.
According to his own website, he was at Ohio State’s Center for Automotive Research. When they called it the “University of Ohio”, I first thought they meant OU-Athens or Ohio Wesleyan, both reliably “progressive” schools. (Boy, is OU-A ever “progressive”!)
Considering how the lefties at OSU feel about the Evil Automobile, and how The One views same, I’m surprised that OSU has such a Center, and even more surprised that The One would go there.
Unless of course it was to announce that we are entering the Post-Automobile Age, and therefore the Center for Automotive Research would from now on be doing research proving the superiority of high-speed rail and Segways.

Well, this is the choice. We are at the final crossroads in America. Either we become full socialists under Obama, or we maintain some sort of economic freedom and the capitalist system under Romney. The only difference is, we can see in Europe right now what our future will look like if we follow socialism. It will be filled with debt, poverty, endless high unemployment and taxes, and a rapid diminishing of our strength as a world power. At least with Romney we have a chance from stopping this from happening. And come November, I’ll certainly be taking that chance.
