FBI Criminal Informant Complicit in Brian Terry’s Death (PJM Exclusive)
In the growing Fast and Furious scandal, Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry’s death in Peck Canyon, Arizona was previously described as a chance meeting that led to a firefight: an illegal alien “rip crew” working for the Sinaloa cartel was hoping to find other illegal aliens and to rob them at gunpoint. Instead, they stumbled across a Border Patrol unit and murdered Agent Terry.
Last week, the Washington Times offered a new version of the encounter: they reported that the rip crew was not hunting illegals, but Border Patrol teams — with the intention of engaging them in combat.
Sources now tell PJ Media that neither version of events is accurate: the rip crew was not waiting for a chance encounter with other illegals, nor did the members intend to engage American law enforcement agents.
The rip crew was in Peck Canyon that evening with the intention of stealing money and drugs from a specific shipment of which they had prior knowledge.
Sources claim the Department of Justice has been trying for almost a year to hide the key information — how the rip crew knew the shipment was coming through that night.
Criminal informants (CIs) are a common tool of law enforcement agencies. When agencies apprehend criminals, agencies often reduce or drop charges in exchange for information leading to the arrests of higher-ranking criminals. Earlier this year, reports claimed that Operation Fast and Furious weapons smuggled over the border were actually chosen by an FBI informant, and paid for with money provided by the federal government.
The rip crew knew to be in Peck Canyon that December evening because a CI working for the FBI found out about a smuggling run — from the FBI.
It is not clear if the information was provided intentionally, but a possible motivation for the FBI to provide the information is known to exist: the CI had previously lost a shipment of drugs, and wanted to regain the trust of the cartel with an offering of drugs or money. The other possibility is that the FBI mistakenly allowed the CI to discover the information.
The CI used this information to organize an ambush of the drug convoy. A source tells PJM that the FBI knew from wiretaps that the CI was using their information to set up an ambush.
The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) — through its own CIs and communications intercepts — was also aware of the planned assault.
Neither the DEA nor FBI warned Border Patrol about the expected criminal activity.

wow! Another case of our FBI in peace and war if true. This should finally blow the case up and onto the front pages alongside Kim Kardashian’s marital problems.
Not gonna happen. The press must protect Dear Leader. Kim Kardashian’s marital problems are on the front pages deliberately, to keep you asleep.
В “Правде” нет известий, а в “Известиях” нет правды.
(Old saying about the two main Soviet dailies: In “The Truth” there is no news, in “The News” there is no truth.)
Funny – I haven’t spoken or read Russian in years, and have forgotten most of what I knew. But that phrase, I remembered (even before I read down to your translation). And I read both of them back when – I think that saying sticks (even now) because it was so undeniably true. Unfortunately, we seem to face a similar problem here – but with too many media outlets to make a pithy saying about.
I remember that one. We ran away from it, it it came here. This shiny beacon of the world is getting dimmer by the minute. And it’s all of us at fault.Freedom is not free.
A facebook paste for my commie friends is in order.
You haven’t de-friended your commie friends yet? I cleaned out the cobwebs on my page a while ago. Got sick of seeing the tired Bush-bashing three years later. Funny though, Obama worship has conspicuously fallen off.
As for this story, Pajamas Media will be the only site on the net that talks about it. F-ing disgusting.
Important to understand how ‘others’ think.
Fully agree. But I didn’t say all left-wing thought is banned from my fb. Just the outright commies. If I ditched all the lefties I’d be down to like 12 friends. Plus, I feel I get enough of the “other” point of view: at the office, by osmosis through TV’s being on everywhere in public, at Thanksgiving dinner, at Trader Joe’s, thumbing a Rolling Stone on the pot at the gym, forcing myself to listen to NPR driving to and from work and by visiting conservative websites who talk about how insane the commie left in this country is.
There is no escape from leftist thought. I just try to manage it a touch to feel like I’m in control.
I don’t have a large FB friends list, so I haven’t culled from the list yet.
Maybe there would be fewer problems with ‘deconfliction’ if there weren’t so many agencies with overlapping missions.
Wow ! A lot of info here.
I am sure the Congress will work on this.
Could this be the dirty job that would have started the campaign against the Second Amendment ?
Bullseye! You win a cookie!
I’ll say it over and over, as long as it takes: Prosecute them all.
Fortunately there is no statute of limitations for murder. Which means the Republican administration that takes office in 2013 can take a look at all this.
One can only hope Greg,
For the record, I believe CI stands for “Confidential Informant.”
Is it the general method for the drug cartels to leave weapons at the scenes of crimes?
That has been bugging me too. Why are the cartels leaving weapons at the scene of the crimes. I couldn’t imagine that would be normal operating procedure, unless you need keep a running tally on them that is.
If you’ve killed a police officer like these guys did you drop the gun. You might be able to beat the rap but not if you have a smoking gun in your hand. This whole thing started as a scheme “under the radar” to show Senator Feinstein and Senator Schumer how the Chicago Boy’s took care of a little problem like the 2nd Amendment of the Constitution, just have to break some eggs, no problemo.
They caught “three”. And then let at least TWO of them go. I wonder why…
The FBI, DEA and DHS don’t know how to deconflict among themselves but they know well how to decontent their F&F information for public release.
It’s not even the “general method for drug cartels” to have US legal semi-automatic weapons. Anybody who knows his way around the Third World can buy Russian, Chinese, Eastern European, or Middle Eastern provenance AK platform fully automatic weapons for far less than US legal semi-automatic weapons. The WASR AK referenced is a US legal conversion of the Romanian-built military AK which retails in the US at around $500. The real military AK is available on the Third World weapons market for $100 or so.
Yup. Didn’t Venezuela receive a license to build an AK 103 factory from Russia, plus ammo, not to long ago? Oh, yes they did.

The first of its kind in Latin America.
I enjoy your comments.
Thank you for the kind words. They say that AKs are built by drunks to be used by idiots and there is a lot of truth to it; they are crude things, but utterly reliable even when not cared for, a real advantage over our AR platform and other more sophistocated weapons in the Third World.
I have an AK platform Saiga 12 Guage shotgun. The joke amongst Saiga owners is when you buy one getting a “vodka gun,” one where NOTHING is right on the gun. I have a pretty good one, but it has taken some work and it still won’t always cycle reliably with lower powered, read cheaper, ammunition. Put 3″ high brass buck shot in it and it’ll cycle through a ten round clip as fast as you can pull the trigger, though doing much of that will leave your shoulder hurting for a week.
One thing about a Saiga 12, though, if you wanted the archetypal “scary black gun” a Saige 12 with a 10 round or larger magazine pretty well fills the bill; they are intimidating weapons, and that’s one of the reasons I have one. They were talking about banning them last year because they didn’t meet the “sporting purpose” provisions in the law but backed off. Most people who buy one immediately “unconvert” them to remove all the stuff put on the meet the “sporting purpose” provisions but you have to be careful to keep the US content legal in case you run afoul of the BATFE. The ban talk got the price up around $900 but it has settled back to $650-$700, still a lot more than you’d pay for the military full auto version on the Third World market.
“..they are crude things, but utterly reliable even when not cared for, a real advantage over our AR platform and other more sophistocated weapons in the Third World.”
We could spend a few hours on this [off] topic, but suffice to say, from my experience, the all purpose rifle would be the AK in the 7.62×39 variant. It’s KIS (KIS=keep it simple) platform and reliability despite terrain and weather conditions makes it the go to weapon. Down side is the accuracy.
The sheet metal versions are not accurate. The machined versions are about as expensive as an AR series, but are supposed to be very accurate. And retain the reliability.
Phillep Harding
“The sheet metal versions are not accurate. The machined versions are about as expensive as an AR series, but are supposed to be very accurate. And retain the reliability.”
Milled AKs are no more reliable or accurate than stamped ones. The soviet military moved away from milled AKs in the 1950s because they are heavier and offer no benefit over stamped models.
Domestically produced milled AKs tend to be expensive because of the cost associated with owning and operating the machinery required to mill steel. As a result, they are nearly as expensive as a rifle made with a milled aluminum receiver (who would have thought?). Any rifle with a 16″ barrel shooting 7.62×39 is going to be “AK accurate”.
Not to mention oodles of full-mil M16s, thanks to the hideously corruptMexican army.
True! At least in the touristy cities in Mexico, there’s a cop or soldier at practically every street corner armed with an M-16 or M-4 or some other automatic weapon, and you know a lot of those get “lost.”
It is this country’s “Law Enforcement” who are not only enabling this swill, but carrying the water for them as well. In spite of their oath to the Constitution, “Law Enforcement” instead bow and scrape before their Masters and then do WHATEVER they are told. May every one of them rot in hell for what they have done to this country.
Think I’m exaggerating? Listen to BATFE Agent Hope McAllister discuss the “alleged” third gun in detail, and call Agent Terry’s murder “collateral damage”:
http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-31727_162-20109529-10391695.html
Just HOW MANY “Law Enforcement” officers have refused to work with her as a result? The stench is overwhelming. And it smells like pig.
And this includes the career U.S. Army.
How about you watch your damn mouth when saying “ALL LAW ENFORCEMENT”. Brian Terry was my brother-in-arms. A finer man or agent would be hard to find. When jackasses like you make blanket statements like that you show your true stupidity. Behind the Terry family, no one has hurt more than his fellow agents over his loss and this whole mess. To state ” “Law Enforcement” instead bow and scrape before their Masters and then do WHATEVER they are told. May every one of them rot in hell for what they have done to this country.” shows your true ignorance and how little you think before typing. If anyone goes to hell, hopefully you will be the one holding the map.
And to the idiot a few lines down who is doubting the story because he heard the bullet went in above the hip and not “through the heart” as in this report, A BULLET DOES NOT STAY ON A FLAT TRAJECTORY ONCE IT STRIKES ANYTHING! The 7.62×39 even more so than most rifle rounds because it is a heavy but “relatively” low powered round. They tend to bounce around once striking a hard object like a pelvis. For the love of God, people should really try and learn about something before publicizing their ignorance. One bullet can easily strike the hip the deflect to hit the spine and then the heart.
So Mr. “Law Enforcement”, tell me – WHAT have YOU done about Ms. McAllister? I have seen your Brothers in Blue in action in New York City about THEIR brothers who were charged with ticket fixing. I have seen your Brothers in Blue in action in Miami about THEIR brother who was charged with doing 120 mph en route to his off duty job. But I haven’t seen ANYTHING about ANY Brother in Blue and “collateral damage”. And the number of “Law Enforcement” who have even bothered to SPEAK OUT against Fast and Furious, much less Castaway or the OTHER operations, including the one sending weapons to gangs IN THIS COUNTRY is pathetically small. Rot where you belong, you lying POS.
I am with Sherab Zangpo; did the FBI and DEA let the Border Patrol walk into the ambush deliberately? Was that their way of publicly igniting their war on the second amendment?
Why is the border patrol not a member of the in-crowd and chosen to be the sacrificial lamb?
Brian Terry’s Family Breaks Silence, Lashes Out At Holder Over Fast Furious
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=01fe9XIFEBU&feature=player_embedded
When we get a new president 2012, maybe this will come to light on what happened. Justice cannot come soon enough.
QUOTE “put a bullet through brian terrys heart.” Endquote
It has been publshed by many sources that he was shot in the lower back and told other agents ‘ he couldn’t feel his legs’, while waiting for the medevac, dying beforethey got there. Your quote makes me question your story.
It has been widely reported that Brian Terry’s COD was a severed aorta. Question whatever you want. It is still a free country.
Why would that phrase have to be taken literally? Scuttle back to Media Matters, troglodyte.
Eric Holder and Barack Obama’s “mens rea” on Fast and Furious BY COACH COLLINS, ON NOVEMBER 29TH, 2011 By Doug Book, staff writer
http://www.coachisright.com/eric-holder-and-barack-obama’s-“mens-rea”-on-fast-and-furious/
Excerpt: Mens rea is Latin for “guilty mind.” In legal theory acting to set up a crime before committing it indicates a guilty mind; or guilty intent. In the spring of 2009, just a few months before the Obama Administration instructed the Phoenix ATF office to commence Operation Fast and Furious, Attorney General Eric Holder introduced and secured a curious change to United States gun legislation.
Then, although Barack Obama and Eric Holder had promised liberal supporters they would fight to overturn the Tiahrt Amendment, in the spring of 2009 Holder lobbied Congress for a change to the Amendment,
one which would allow ATF acquired trace data to be provided to “…a foreign law enforcement agency solely in connection with or for use in a criminal investigation or prosecution…”
The Regime was just about to launch the corrupt and murderous Operation Fast and Furious. And it must be remembered that during the year long course of that despicable gunwalking venture, no agency or official of the United States government informed the Mexican government of the scheme’s EXISTENCE, keeping all particulars concerning the deliberate smuggling across the Mexican border of thousands of firearms quite hidden from Mexican officials and law enforcement.
So former Congressman Tiahrt asks the obvious question: “ Why sign into law the Tiahrt Trace Data Amendment with clarification language to share trace data with foreign law enforcement agencies at approximately the same time that “Fast and Furious” program illegally allows firearms to cross the border into a foreign country?”
Certainly this Holder– inspired change to Tiahrt was no coincidence.
So why did Barack Obama and Eric Holder, hardly known for their attention to details of legality, suddenly consider this detail so important?
How was the Regime to benefit from the new language?
What possibilities for deceit and abuse of power did it secure for an Administration bent upon terminating the God given right of the American people to keep and bear arms?
It is often easy to forget that the entirety of the Fast and Furious agenda was NOT played out, the ultimate goal not realized as ATF whistle blowers and citizen journalists forced a premature close to the Operation. What would the giving of trace information to a foreign nation—presumably Mexico–have accomplished and why was it so important to the final outcome of the scheme?
It’s very revealing to note that, even at the zenith of its power, with clear majorities in both the House and Senate, the Administration apparently could not afford to lose a fight for the overthrow of Tiahrt. It had to settle for a change.
It’s quite possible that when we discover the reason for Holder’s change to the Tiahrt Amendment, we’ll finally have the rest of the pieces to the Fast and Furious puzzle.
Mens rea is Latin for “guilty mind”
Other parallel motivators (leaving the burgeoning BP connections alone for the sake of brevity), the collapsing Democratic regimes of the blue city-states are a mortal threat to the inner syndicate, and they could be aided quite a bit (one could say ‘saved’ only by) if the productive-taxpayer exodus to the law-abiding, civil-virtuous, air-conditioned and economically-vitalized-by-affordable-energy southern states –the ‘sunbelt’ –could be halted and perhaps reversed.
Sounds like the Clinton administration in Idaho. Most Aryan brotherhood meetings were made up of all FBI informants, reporting on each other. Then they assassinated Randy Weaver’s wife.
The article bugs me – distracted by irrelevant details. The real issue is
that armed Mexican Nationals were illegally in the United States and firing
upon U.S. citizens. Speculation on their original intentions is irrelevant.
They killed U.S. citizens on U.S. soil with guns purposefully allowed to “walk” by incompetent U.S. officials when the perpetrators should have never been
north of the border in the first place.
your comment has hit the nail on the head, the illegal drug trade has brought upon us the border wars, while CONgress passes laws that restrict our own rights they have allow the black market to flourish through-out our country allowing banks to make enormous profits through their money-laundering for the cartels all at the expense of our rights.to end the so called war on drugs end off -shore banking , close the banking loop holes, prosecute those that break these laws and you no longer will have the need for illegal and immoral programs such as what the gunrunner program has brought to our country as well as the problems it has brought to our neighbors south of our border
Independent of all this I keep asking – ???
Why in the hell did we have our good guys wandering around in bad guy country with bean bags?
Especially at night!
Bad guys don’t carry bean bags.
Whoever crafted this ROE should be canned.
Whoever let it be moved down to the ground level should be canned.
BigR they shouldn’t be canned. they should be imprisined for 40 years and one day at hard labor for aiding and abeting in the death of Brian Terry. hell the might as well have told them to use blanks,
didn’t i just hear from the lamestream news media that our resident half-wit has sealed terry’s file? it seems that anything illegal that touches him gets stuffed into some black hole (no, not moochelle).
it is hard to figure this bunch. he has obviously broken the law, many times, along with others in his admin. no telling how many or how much has gone mi$$ing. let’s look down the road and play the hypothetical game.
a couple of years later, a very mad and t-party type repub. sits in the big chair now, with a like minded congress. if it were me, there would be no more hidden files, doctored doc’s, false numbers, and so forth. heads will be rolling. he couldn’t pardon himself, or others in the future. his crimes are coming to light, day by day. is he going to try to run and hide? who would take him? some muslim country, not our friend for sure. he will not be able to spend any of those $tolen fund$. they will be labeled contraband. czars are no more. supreme court appointees by a null and void prez? hmmm. his signature is now an automatic search engine for real law enforcement personnel. the whistleblowers are everywhere now. a third party is being formed to replace the communists party. several x congresscritters are already in prison. lawyers are fully employed.
see. isn’t that fun? i know i feel better.
Dreaming is nice, but it has little to do with reality. “real law enforcement personnel”? Yeah, right! Like those who murdered Vicki Weaver? Like those who helped move the guns to the drug cartels in Mexico? Like those who helped move the guns to former president Zelaya’s supporters in Honduras? Like those who protested against the ticket-fixing charges in New York City? Like those who spread feces on the Florida Highway Patrol cars after they DARED to stop a Miami-Dade police officer doing 120 mph enroute to his off-duty job?
And which “communists party” is being replaced? The one of Maxine Waters and Chucky Schumer? Or the one of John McCain, Olympia Snowe, Lindsay Graham, Susan Collins, Richard Lugar, and Lisa Murkowski? The stench is overwhelming. And it smells like the “Law Enforcement” who have spit on their oath of office.
“And which “communists party” is being replaced? The one of Maxine Waters and Chucky Schumer? Or the one of John McCain, Olympia Snowe, Lindsay Graham, Susan Collins, Richard Lugar, and Lisa Murkowski?”
You “true conservatives” who believe, or at least say you believe, crap like this are totally effing nuts. McCain, Snowe, Graham, Collins, Lugar, and Murkowski probably couldn’t get elected in a rural district in The South or one with more cows than people in The West, but the people who can get elected there, cant get elected in Arizona, Maine, Alaska and they sure can’t get necessary independent votes in the ‘burbs in the Blue States. None of those people are communists, not even Shumer and Waters, though Waters is close though she doesn’t know it.
Did you notice what happened in Alaska when Palin and her crowd proped up a flake who could mouth “true conservative” soundbites, Joe Miller? In a deadly dull primary with almost no competitive races and very low turnout, a parental choice initiative that never should have been on the ballot got the SIVVs out in force and they narrowly got Miller nominated. When the actual voting public of the State realized what had happened, they overwhelmingly re-elected Murkowski AS A WRITE IN CANDIDATE. You managed to nominate the ONE candidate that the Nevada gaming industry, sick to death of Reid, simply would not tolerate and gave him another term. Sometimes you can sneak up and win Primaries, e.g., Miller and the witch back east, but you can’t win general elections; it is that simple.
Now, you can figure out how to live with candidates that aren’t a perfect match for your ideology, but won’t do anything to you, you can make yourselves as detested in the Republican Party Nationally as people like Palin and Miller are by the Alaska Republican Party, you can join the Libertarians or the Constitution Party and be perfectly, purely irrelevant except for the fact that every vote cast for a third party is a vote cast for the real communist Comrade Obama.
Y’all keep on suckin’ them Mittens now. As for me, I see dead pigs. And soon.
And I see tinfoil hat wearing NUTS. And everywhere!
And for the record, I’m not much on Romney; too much used car salesman karma, but he’s no communist, and the President manque is.
Bob Owens – I have no idea what the facts are in this matter based on the minimal information presented here, but I note that you are accusing FBI Special Agents of indirect responsibility for the death of a fellow law enforcement officer and Obstruction of Justice. What training and experience (for example in the conduct of complex investigations and undercover operations) do you have to inform your analysis and allow you to come to such a conclusion?
If it comes to that, how different are you from your commenters at #11:
“It is this country’s “Law Enforcement” who are not only enabling this swill, but carrying the water for them as well. In spite of their oath to the Constitution, “Law Enforcement” instead bow and scrape before their Masters and then do WHATEVER they are told. May every one of them rot in hell for what they have done to this country … (J)ust HOW MANY “Law Enforcement” officers have refused to work with her as a result? The stench is overwhelming. And it smells like pig … (A)nd this includes the career U.S. Army”.
Now MarcH, what part of Fast and Furious was NOT implemented by your Brothers in Blue? Was it not THEY who told the gun dealers to sell those weapons to the suspected straw buyers? Was it not THEY who provided the stimulus funds to purchase those weapons FROM the straw buyers? Was it not THEY who let the vehicles carrying those weapons across the border pass without inspection? Was it not THEY who disposed of the third gun found at the murder scene? Was it not THEY calling the murder of Agent Terry “collateral damage”? Heck, was it not THEY going to the gun dealers and buying weapons they KNEW would be smuggled across the border, merely because their supervisor gave them a signed note telling them to do it?
And that’s merely Fast and Furious out of the Phoenix area. How about Castaway run out of the Tampa Field Division of BATFE? Running guns to supporters of former president Zelaya in Honduras? With the help of the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office, the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office, and the Miami-Dade Police Department? And HOW MANY OTHERS THROUGHOUT THE COUNTRY???
Y’all keep on suckin’ your oinker buddies, though. I guess you think the coffee and donuts taste better filtered like that?
Almost forgot – Was it not THEY who corrupted the NICS background check to show the straw buyers as “legal” even though they had felony convictions which disqualified them?
Wow. The Florida BATFE was arming Zelaya’s people?
A while back I was doing some research that led me to information about Bill Ayers’ son’s involvement in communism in South America, ties with Hugo Chavez, etc. I read a publication by the communist folks who had had some kind of convention, talking about using the open border to send communists to the US to wreak havoc here. It’s been a long time since I was researching so I’ve forgotten the details, but I think the same electronic voting company who got Chavez installed in Venezuela supplied the illegal ballots that Zelaya wanted to use, and allowed him to have on his laptop the “results” of an election that never even happened. The communists to our south mean business, and they know that as long as illegal immigration is tolerated in the US they have free reign to do their covert operations. How many Che Guevera signs have there been with the Obama people?
Now it looks like US law enforcement agencies are fully hopping into bed with the communist cabal trying to take over America.
Yuri Bezmenov said that even though it sounds crazy, what we are facing is the worldwide system of communism. And when we look at the tactics and networking of the folks Obama has had for friends his whole life long, the tentacles are far-reaching. The connections between the Bill Ayers crew and Latino communists such as Castro, Chavez, Zelaya, etc are sobering, and getting a full-fledged, America-hating communist into the White House has allowed US government agencies to be infiltrated with full-fledged, America-hating communists with access to everything they need to connect the puzzle pieces for the worldwide communist system.
We are living in very, very dangerous times. I believe this nation’s very existence stands on the edge of a knife.
Not merely Tampa BATFE, but THREE Sheriff’s offices and a LARGE Police Department. Of course, how much the locals knew is mere speculation at this point. They may be neck deep in it. Or they may have merely been Useful Idiots, played by BATFE for the rubes they are. Of course, ALL those organizations are enthusiastic players in the Fusion Centers, so…
Congressman Bilirakis of Tampa asked for clarificaton of this operation back in July, and as far as I can tell he has not yet gotten anything in response. You know what THAT means when you’re dealing with “Law Enforcement”…
Bob Owens,
Judging by the responses to my comment, your writing draws some interesting readers. I hope you are proud of them.
I notice that you didn’t reply to my query as to your experience and qualifications to offer sweeping judgments on complex FBI/DEA source operations based on minimal information. Perhaps you could, at least, reply to some of your commenters who have posted slimy things about U.S. soldiers and law enformcement officers … or perhaps you agree with them?
Rot where you belong, you lying POS. Rot where you belong.
Penetrating the opposition is an old tactic, it is also very risky, and not just because things go wrong.
Imperial Russia was very good at infiltrating the anarchist, communist and other groups it confronted. The problem is that it helps keep the problem alive, and can ultimately destroy you.
The issue is that you need informants and you have to not only keep them safe, but actually support them in the name of control.
Stalin was a Czarist agent as were many other Bolsheviks, and we know what happened.
1) At what level of abuse of the law and of the Constitution by this administration do the American people start talking seriously about impeachment?
2) Is there any amount of abuse the American people will not tolerate?
Impeachment is nice, and could be done by the House if “Weepy” had a brain and some courage. But removal requires a vote of 2/3 of the Senate, or 67 votes. I cannot count more than 30 for removal, no matter how vile the charges, and how certain the proof. Which is why I laugh at Art Chance above. For it is HIS fine “non-communists” who would insure that NOBODY was removed.
Don’t worry, I laugh at tinfoil hat wearing idiots.
That said, it wouldn’t matter if all the Republicans voted to remove the President, the Democrats still control the Senate and the required 2/3 vote could not be reached.
The only people who even know about F&F are political junkies. Those on the left dismiss it with their usual Bush did it too. Those on the right are looked at as paranoid conspiracy theorists, and some are, by the generally uninformed public. The vast uninvolved middle of the electorate only learns about things when they move to the network nightly news, the late night commedians, or the Daily Show – and F&F ain’t ever going to be mentioned there.
Well of course, Mr. Chance. NOBODY watches CBS News, since they are such a right-wing outfit. Or did you even bother to listen to the Hope McAllister tape above, from one of MANY stories by Sharyl Attkisson of CBS News?
Well of course, Mr. Chance. NOBODY bothers to watch CBS News, since they are such an extreme right-wing outlet. Or did you even bother to read and listen to the Hope McAllister article above by Sharyl Attkisson of CBS News, who has done MANY such exposes on Fast and Furious?
But then I’M the one with the tinfoil hat…
A little on CBS because the WH dissed the reporter, OK. But it is generally deafening silence and the only people who know or care anything about it are political junkies.
And, yes, you do wear a tinfoil hat.
Here’s a Fast and Furious timeline, Mr. Cahnce:
http://rinosandrats.com/2011/09/the-gunwalker-scandal-overview-timeline/
But you keep on following “Weepy” and Mitch. For after all, they ARE the “future” of this country.
Virtually all major scandals from Watergate on have been scripted with a purpose in mind, even to the point of self-indictment.
Yes, Fast and Whatever is very corrupt. It’s supposed to be.
When the original story broke WP or NYT said it was a CIA / Obama op to arm Calderons favorite cartel that would protect him against others uprising in Mexico. I didn’t bookmark the article and can’t find it now.
I hate to say it but our law enforcement is a joke in America. It starts at the very top people and spreads like cancer in our justice departments. The ones who pay the price for these incompetent judicial want to be politicians. Are our everyday squad car officiers.
This is a lot of speculation on my part but it may give some insights into why there is so much violence within the cartels. Throughout Central America and into Mexico, a lot of crime, particularly truck hijackings, are in fact inside jobs, fueled by a driver or worker at a distribution center or factory having very little money.
This encounter, and many others that result in drug deaths within Mexico, has that type of signature on it. Lower and low paid members of a drug ring have information about money or drug movements and engage someone to hijack it, trusting they will escape scrutiny themselves and make money. I don’t think they do escape scrutiny or double cross and a lot of death is the result, one way or the other. It’s a free-for-all.
Guatemala used to be a relatively safe place but now, with the end of the dictatorships years ago, an aversion to cruel and unusual punishment has resulted in an upsurge of cruel and unusual crime. The criminals now know they won’t be taken out by police and simply shot.
Another factor is that N.Americans used to go down and do their own drug business and were averse to violence. Now, along with other legit businesses, locals do everything pretty much and they don’t have a brain in their skulls when it comes to doing business quietly.
Weed came into the states in very large numbers for many years without a huge death count, brought in by hippie types and pragmatists, but once the Mexicans took over they made it a death circus.
Which of those organizations have anything to do with Border Patrol. I could give a flying F about the departments you named. Not one of them has been alone or with one other agent in the desert to catch a group of 5, 10, 20 or morewho are carrying God knows what. For the examples you named, you are absolutely right and they should face the consequences. But when you make broad blanket statements about all law enforcement you sound as intelligent as a racist.
Then HONOR your oath of office. Or rot with MarcH.
The other day I chased a rat from my chimney to the kitchen where it scampered under a small opening at the bottom of the cabinets. I put out some poison, and a couple of days ago I started to smell the dead rat, but I could not find it, despite my thorough search.
Now, the last couple of years guns were floated out of Phoenix (or so we are told). During the same time frame, Manuel Longoria, head of Nuestros Reconquistos, along with La Raza, MEChA, Aztlan brotherhood and Take Aztlan Back, were going around Phoenix encouraging Latinos to arm themselves for the upcoming Aztlan. Then, strangely, or not, Eric Holder appointed Longoria to a position in the Justic Dept. a couple of weeks ago. (What does Longoria know?)
Then, a few days ago, Janet Napolitano, Head of DHS and in charge of immigration enforcement, spoke at a meeting with the same Latino groups mentioned above, plus the less radical Chicanos Unidos (In Phoenix, Arizona). Napolitano’s comments were revealing and seditious in nature.
She told this mostly radical racist group, like La Raza (the race), “We want to let in (through the border) as many Latinos as possible,” and she also talked about a time in the short future when there won’t be a border between Mexico and the United States. (Cat’s out of the bag Janet; now lets see you scramble for damage control, but you have been doing that for two years).
Since all but one of these groups have preached Aztlan, the taking over of the SouthWest for Latinos, and separatism, then this is a serious violation of Secretary Napolitano’s oath of office, and her comments are seditious in that she is encouraging them, and their Aztlan, which is or will be a threat to our national security.
Now, this is a lot of ‘fricken sh…’ happening in Phoenix about the same time. I smell a rat, but I can find it yet. We know the FBI is not going to tell us the truth, and the politicians would just use any information as leverage amongst themselves and not let us know, and no politician wants to do anything that would impeach Holder or Obama, for fear of being called a racist.
Still, I smell a rat, a stinking dead rat, but the FBI knows that if they wait long enough, the stink of the rat will go away (that’s what happen to me). But there is hope for us– sorry Janet, but you are White, and that makes you dispensible in this scenario, and you violated your oath of office with your statements, and probably impeachable sedition, so roll over (I know you know) and we won’t impeach you.
