Exclusive PJ Institute Video: ‘The Holocaust Would Not Have Happened Without People Like Him’
PJ Institute expands its examination of the early stages of the Holocaust with excerpts of Mark Gould’s interviews of Bernhard Frank, the 97-year-old Nazi whom Gould is trying to bring to justice. This exclusive video is from the PJ Institute, the education and research arm of PJ Media and PJTV.
Mark Gould, a private American citizen posing as a neo-Nazi sympathizer, spent the last four years undercover in Germany, investigating an unprosecuted Holocaust figure. Under the common practice and protocol of the German Army, killing orders needed to be meticulously defined and needed to have co-signatures to be implemented. Although scholars have know for years about the killing orders, often from Himmler, they did not know who the co-signer was of some of the key orders in the summer of 1941. Gould’s research and video uncovered that Frank was indeed that co-signer — allegedly the senior Nazi officer who co-signed the “start order” that commenced the genocide of Europe’s Jewish population.
PJ Institute is hosting excerpts of footage from hundreds of hours of interviews with the now 97-year-old SS Colonel, who confirms that on July 28, 1941 he personally signed the order allowing the first mass execution of Jews in the Pripjet Swamps near the Polish and Belarussian/Ukrainian borders.
This effectively served as the flashpoint of the Holocaust.

This is an incredible piece of journalism. I congratulate Mr. Gould’s efforts in uncovering the painful truth that there are many former Nazis who are walking free and have never faced justice for their crimes. This speaks loudly of the various German governments who wish to avoid facing the “mirror” of truth.
we can’t “let it be”…there is no statute of limitations on murder! if, indeed, this old geezer was responsible for the onset of the holocaust, then he should be prosecuted.
MH8169 is right! The German governments for the last 60 years have not done the required investigation of their Nazi citizens. The Germans sprout a holier-than-thou attitude towards Israel while they let Bernard Franks and other guilty Nazi’s walk around free. Where are the MSM on this?
Why isn’t one of the Nazi hunters going after this guy? Simon Wiesenthal is dead, but I should think his center still exists. Elie Wiesel could also pursue this case or could arrange for someone from his circles to do so. It seems very strange to me.
I have a hard time believing this story. Why would a mere Lieutenant Colonel have the “love” of Himmler even to such extend as to co-sign the order to initiate the holocaust? He would have been found, prosecuted and hanged in 1945-46. Or the Mossad would have taken him out later. No way he lived to this day.
The most interesting comes at the very last: A lawsuit has been filed by the surviving members of the young mans family. How American. “My great grandfather suffered and perished under the Nazis, so someone should pay *me* money!”

Seems to me DougW’s point was precisely that the Dems (or the left) do everything in their power to ***PLANT*** and reinforce the ***FALSE*** idea that American Conservatives = Nazis. What a great sadness to witness a young man who could have had a “good” life, be duped by idiots and murderers at the top. I regret that the same diabolical misinformation that led to this mans wrong decision is very much alive to this day. With the same horrendous consequences.
I do believe this story to be wholly credible. The smartest decision the Germans could make post WWII was to get moving again. Peoples were starving. It is natural that a Frank could slip through the cracks for so long. Cities, infrastructure and financial aid were far more important than hunting the Nazis.
