ESPN to Men: ‘No Man, No Problem’
ESPN ponders no such questions. They fulfilled the expectations of cultural Marxism earlier in the month when they cut loose football commentator Ron Franklin, thus eviscerating a 20 plus year relationship with the announcer. They had no choice. During an off-the-air conversation Mr. Franklin insulted a female, fellow employee Jeannine Edwards.
Purportedly, Edwards interjected herself into a conversation Franklin had with two co-workers. Franklin dismissed her input with the words, “Why don’t you leave this to the boys, sweetcakes,” (she said later it was “sweet baby”). Edwards responded, “Don’t call me sweetcakes, I don’t like being talked to like that.” Franklin ended the discussion with, “OK then, a**hole.”
And that was that. Farewell Ron Franklin. Certainly what he said was impolite, but drawing a conclusion based on what was reported is impossible. No dialogue — except what you hear in a Charlie Brown cartoon — occurs in isolation.
In order to know the truth one must determine what Edwards said. Specifically, what precipitated Franklin’s rude response? Did she make a derogatory statement about men, one that caused him to answer the way he did? No one asked and no one cares. In a country where women are granted cult status, “she started it” is not a defense.
Every inquiry here is below our leftist media’s attention span. They never saw a non-conservative woman they didn’t want to elevate or a non-conservative man they didn’t wish to diminish. As far as they are concerned, there were no gaps in the conversation.
The Huffington Post decried Franklin’s “sexist comments.” Yahoo News, edited by the husband of an influential radical feminist, bemoaned the “harassing behavior” of Franklin. The Washington Post found the result predictable given that Franklin once called a different female correspondent “sweetheart.” The horror!
Andrea Kremer, another reporter at the network, ignored Franklin’s plight and the destruction of his fine career. She used the imbroglio as a pretense to lobby for more victim status for women. Kremer believes that the supposed vitriol that female sideline reporters are subjected to is the real problem.
What poppycock. Ms. Kremer could always get a new job if a lack of fan adoration so unnerves her. As can Edwards who, unlike Franklin, still earns a big paycheck. Both high-achieving women have yet to learn that criticism is part of life. Deal with it. They can do it! No therapists or public flagellations of one’s male co-workers are required.
Moreover, the media objections to Franklin’s response were false at a fundamental level. None of what the ex-announcer said equates with sexism. Sexism used to mean discriminating against someone on the basis of sex.
Calling someone “sweet baby” or “sweet cakes” is odd but not discriminatory, and unquestionably Mr. Franklin has used the word “a—hole” to describe many a man over the years.
In the final analysis, an organization fueled by PC is an organization gone mad. Franklin’s firing was ludicrous. No employer should get involved in the extraneous conversations that employees have. If Ms. Edwards and her ilk wish to live sanitized lives they should stay at home in their self-esteem bubbles.
ESPN could have insisted that she sort it out with him on her own or merely demanded that Franklin apologize. No doubt he would have and given Edwards wide berth in the future. Problem settled. Instead, the infamous sports network chose a Stalinist solution, “No man, no problem.”
When the PC brainwashed hear a woman complain they immediately switch to termination mode. The man must be guilty. A woman never lies. Any fool who uttered the dreaded words “sweet baby” or “sweet cakes” gets relegated to the dole. A man who insults a woman — or teases her about her dress — is unemployable today.
Female conservatives would be happy to tell Mr. Franklin that the truth is completely irrelevant. All it took was a simple gaze at a mug shot or a YouTube video to ascertain that the carnage in Arizona was caused by a mental patient, but the left is above such investigations. If they were not how else could they pin the tragedy on Sarah Palin? Who, by the way, does not speak schizophrenic.
After the former Alaskan governor responded to the spurious charges against her, Democratic activists, aka “the press,” ignored her message entirely. They instead pretended that a term she used in her speech was anti-Semitic. At this point, any conservative who has anything positive to say about the political left is a masochist.
Mr. Franklin should consider himself lucky not to have been brought up on criminal charges given our current misandric and hyper-sensitive climate. In three decades, crossing a woman may well become a capital crime.
Franklin forgot that society is very clear on this subject. Women are noble, independent, superior beings and the hidden geniuses behind human achievement. Their works drive civilization, except for when they fail, get their feelings hurt, or desire attention. When any of those unforeseen circumstances occur one thing must be done. Find a suitable male and place blame upon him.
In short, women are masters of the universe except for in those situations when it becomes obvious that they are not. Then, the monstrous federal Leviathan will rescue them from both shame and responsibility. Should the government respond too slowly, ESPN’s fullback sweep is hunched down in a three-point stance — ever ready to plow through any obstacle set before them.
Only to male Neanderthals does equality mean treating people equally. A cable network and the political left know better. ESPN is the new Democratic Party, and female privilege is the new equality.

Sorry- you’re way off base with this article. I watch ESPN every day, and what I see is- sports.
Jones,
What kind of a freakishly stupid, jaw-droppingly mindless, retarded chimpanzee are you? I mean geez, can you possibly have read this article? How is it even possible that a person as mind-numbingly stupid as you can read at all? Who turned your computer on and opened this website for you?
Can you point out a single sentence or phrase in this article that says, hints, or even subtly leans toward saying that this discrimination against men is playing out on ESPN’s televised programming? Do you know what programming is? That is the pretty moving pictures and noises that come out of the big box in you living room.
This blog makes it crystal clear that all of the firings occurred off-screen, in the “back offices”. I spelled this out so your mommy, or the nurse that changes your clothes and makes sure you do not get your head caught in anything, can read it to you and explain it every night before bedtime for a couple of weeks. Hopefully a little bit of it might eventually sink in. If that happens, maybe you’ll get a treat. Good boy!
He didn’t have a point, but he did get firsties. He gets a star on his forehead for that.
Didn’t we establish in the last couple of weeks that there is no award for being wrong first. Forget who said that.
Apparently another symptom of Manic Progressivism is PC tyranny in an ostensibly nonpolitical Sports Network.
Bravely spoken from the anonymity of your keyboard!
“Jones” is that the nom-de-blog of “sweet cakes”?
I would go further and say that the Left looking at Loughner’s mug shot only confirmed their belief that he was a Republican. The expression on his face, at once happy and insane leaves no other conclusion. Liberals have special glasses that allow them to see his “Fox News Rocks!” tattoo which they keep in a drawer next to their paper thin English dictionary that doesn’t have the word “misandry” in it.
When I was in Sicily in 2002 I caught a Home Shopping Network style TV show where 2 beautiful models in floor length see-thru nighties were selling refrigerators; they were wearing nothing underneath. I think this is the direction ESPN is heading and I don’t see why anyone would have a problem with it unless they are the type of person who prefers Ru Paul on the sidelines. ESPN is going cosmopolitan.
We could fight this by insisting all women on ESPN wear moo-moo/burqas and sun-glasses too since their beautiful eyes are like come-hither hypnotic flashlights to 98% of men or 100% of straight men whichever you prefer.
Muslims understand the hypnotic allure of women and show this by hiding them in plain sight whenever they let them out of the house to go get them cigarettes. The problem is that women covered from head-to-toe have their own fetishistic allure and this is why Arabs were taken over in Cairo in the 13th century by their Mamluk slaves when distracted and they have never recovered from this.
We are talking about nothing less than the downfall of Western Civilization and the meek inheriting the Earth and also sports sidelines while prancing about in super tight hip-hugging low rider jeans which will inevitably give rise to the “Ascent of Man”. Not to worry; it’s a cycle.
Well done article – I love Toynbee.
I don’t see the problem. That could be because I don’t watch their garbage. Perhaps if more people did the same, the people that deserve to be out of a job would be out of a job. .
Epic Fail Troll.
Go away.
This is better known as Robert Conquest’s Second Law of Politics.
You might not be familiar with the career of Thomas J. Watson, Sr., legendary founder of IBM, who most certainly did purge from his payroll anyone whose moral conduct he disapproved. He held that the personal behavior of an employee could tar his company’s reputation, and in his era he was probably correct. The administrators of the old “company towns” of the late 19th / early 20th Century displayed similar behavior.
This is unfortunate. It puts me in mind of the days when a white woman’s unsupported accusation of rape against a black man would inevitably cost him his life.
Women are noble, independent, superior beings and the hidden geniuses behind human achievement. Their works drive civilization, except for when they fail, get their feelings hurt, or desire attention.
I am reminded of the scene in Personal Best where hard-nosed track & field trainer Scott Glenn raves at despondent prodigy Mariel Hemingway:
That’s just the nature of the female of our species. The tragedy is that they’ve been so effective at imposing their limitations and vulnerabilities on men, who’ve traditionally been expected to “suck it up” and “soldier on.” The political implications? I leave those to the reader.
The tragedy is that putting women on a pedestal is a flaw
in the nature of the _male_ of our species; Mark Twain
hinted at this, because he could not say it directly,
in his Parable of the Angel:
Adam woke up one morning, and told Eve about a dream he had,
of a wonderful creature called an ‘Angel’, and said that Eve
was his Angel.
Well, Eve did not feel the least bit like an Angel, but if it
would make Adam happy, she would pretend to be one.
Another point of view, from an unlikely source
“That woman, as nature has created her, and man at present is educating her, is man’s enemy. She can only be his slave or his despot, but never his companion. This she can become only when she has the same rights as he and is his equal in education and work.”
During my last years in the Navy I posited to a female who claimed, “We just want to be treated as equals” would it bother her if I just punched her in the arm, or put her in a headlock and wrestled her into submission? She of course was mortified by this thought. So I said, “you don’t want to be treated as equals, you want the rules balanced in your favor.” Now, of course, the same arguments will come now as came then, there is no reason for this type of barbarism. I disagree. That is how men operate. It is akin to the girls in the Brady Bunch episode taking over the boy’s club house with admonishment by the parents to ‘share’. Which really meant, bend over and accept it, boys.
I don’t defend men’s inability to keep up, or to give up, but to ‘keep up’ these days seems to be operating in a completely hostile and foreign environment to men’s nature. I read an article a couple years back in the Washington Post complaining that men were being accepted by colleges in an unfair percentage compared to the number of applicants than women. I guess twice as many women applied to some colleges than men, but the colleges attempted to keep gender equality, which was still slanted towards women, as the article points out. I find this irony particularly rich considering the history of women demanding equal gender representation on campus. Also, I’ll bet if we looked at the number of men in engineering and science curriculums versus liberal arts, we’d find that liberals arts is a bastion of women’s studies.
The laws today are slanted in women’s favor. From custody battles, to domestic abuse, yet many women’s groups still use the same tired rhetoric they used thirty years ago.
Rik: You’re correct. It’s not about “leveling the playing field”, it’s about tilting it the other way or, more succinctly, hypocrisy. The left has used this tactic for decades, unfortunately to some success.
Another rule of politics was espoused by George Orwell in “1984″: Big Brother always needs an enemy. Call him Emmanuel Goldstein or Eastasia, as long as the people’s ire is directed away from the government.
I agree with Jones, I watch ESPN, listen to ESPN radio, read ESPN copy, every single day. You sure you don’t write for the times? Because this article reads like you came up with a great idea and then went to do some research to find that bit of truth that makes a great lie. Someone should write an article about the decline of PJM contributions.
Well, I have stopped watching ESPN as much as I used to because of what he talks of in this story. ESPN’s coverage is soaked in PC. They’re coverage is tilted towards victimhood AND they tilt heavily to the northeastern demo. That’s fine, that’s where their rating pile is.
The PC thing is noticeable though.. at least it was to me for awhile now. I found nothing incorrect with this article.
CRH seems to have failed “reading comprehension” in school. Hello, out there. This thread concerns how an organization operates behind the camera – NOT WHAT THEY BROADCAST. Good grief, pay attention. ESPN – behind the camera – has become the de facto Democrat Party. What they broadcast is probably filtered by their bias, but would not blatantly flaunt their point of view. They are subtle, not stupid.
No, my examples here are excellent and not a one has been responded to thus far. I could have added another from yesterday where they played up the Todd Woodbridge “there are some things you can’t ask a woman” incident. That was incredibly disgraceful. When you watch ESPN you can see PC sports as well like the WNBA which no one watches. Also, they regularly give Sportscenter reports about women’s college basketball…which no one watches either. No, ESPN does not promote sex. For example, with women’s volleyball, they don’t show camera shots from below the waist as the girls wear spandex shorts. How ridiculous, very PC, very wrong, and if I liked sports less than i do I’d say boycott ESPN.
Bernard – didn’t you use to publish your articles on TooGoodReports.com when it was still around? I remember your writing being excellent.
This article is right on. ESPN’s constant publicizing of UCONN’s “women’s” basketball “breaking” UCLA’s men’s basketball consecutive wins streak was annoying. They are not the same accomplishment – women’s basketball is terrible and I bet UCONN could not beat one DIV I men’s college basketball team in the country. Heck, I bet the old UCLA Bruins from the 70s could beat UCONN.
They could not beat 1 men’s Division 3 basketball team for that matter.
Yes, Giannvi, back in the day i wrote for toogoodreports and the WNBA could not beat a top men’s high school team…honestly. The best female athletes are better than the top 14 yo males but the top 15 yo males are their superiors. Great article on this here:
http://www.nationalreview.com/articles/225402/olympian-political-correctness/todd-gallagher
As a Canadian, I don’t watch much ESPN but I have to say that watching two chicks sitting at a desk talking like they’re jocks, on TSN’s Sport Centre, makes me turn the channel. I mean it’s stupid enough when we do it but c’mon man … we’re men! We’ve actually played these sports.
Rush is entitled to have an opinion. That’s what he is/was paid for. Firing him was stupid and cowardly. For the record, I am SU alum and longtime admirer of McNabb here, but rush was right. Donovan better get to work or retire. He is getting older, and his natural abilities aren’t cutting it anymore.
Hugging an intern? What kind of moron would do that? I wouldn’t want some old woman coming up and grabbing me, and I am an old married guy. Fired, no problem. Keep your hands to yourself. If a Marine Corps DI can do it or lose his job, an ESPN exec can, too.
The affair brought bad publicity to the network. Those are not the kind of people you want representing your network. Again, good riddance.
About the psycho mistress.
I once worked with a guy — single — who picked the craziest bitch on the planet to date. We cautioned him, but no — she had a small waist. Finally he got sick of the crazy and dumped her. Of course this only amped up the crazy. She showed up in the office demanding to see him. Got turned out. Stood outside in the street and ambushed every employee who walked out the door demanding to know where he was. Showed up in the bar we hung out at after work. Broke back in to the office during work hours and ran around the halls screaming every cuss word in the book and threatening to kill everyone who wouldn’t tell her where he was. Police were called to haul her away. Woops, did I mention this was a school?
There are times when bad judgment just might be a fireable offense.
I don’t know where you got this fantastic delusion of Marine Corps drill instructors hugging recruits; but it is wrong, wrong, wrong on every level of which I can think. And if I ever heard of a drill instructor hugging a recruit I would certainly hope he was relieved from his billet. Like it or not, American society is preserved by strong men.
The strengths of our society are being crucified in the name of fairness. Perhaps the left’s god, the bamster, should be sued for his creation of all these imperfections. But, upon conviction, what would be the appropriate punishment? I mean, having to live with a harridan like Michelle seems like cruel and unusual punishment to me.
Everything you say may be right; I don’t know, having not watched a sports event on television in more than 25 years. But, some of the problems with any given cable channel could be corrected with a simple change to cable, itself. Un-shackle the consumer from cable company pre-packaged bundles. If the consumer (the individual) could purchase only what he or she wanted to see, paying for just the channels he or she watched, then potential problems (like this one) could be addressed by the free market. Free people could just stop making that individual purchase; trust me, the cable would sit up and notice in a second.
Of course, this would require at least two things to happen; 1) cable companies would have to open up these packages. And don’t pretend to me that in the year 2011 we don’t have the technology to do this; if that requires government involvement, so be it. 2) Most men will have to grow up and realize that sports is mostly silly and for children, and in the long run, utterly meaningless. Hugging you child means something; who wins a game does not.
Freedom always changes the status quo, and it frightens the entrenched. We might be pleasantly surprised at the results to society overall of an increase in free people making free decisions.
My apologies for the typos; trying to talk and type at the same time.
Ok sports fans, you can start flaming me now.
OK, now that you’ve shared your feelings about that, is it time to sing Kumbaya?
The feminazi’s across the nation have a hatred for men that cannot be measured. It is that big. Just think, ladies, if it weren’t for men you all wouldn’t be here. I do recall reading, though, that these women created a synthetic sperm,,,,,put in place by a turkey baster. LMAO
I think men scientists actually came discovered that too (talk about cutting off your nose to spite your face, because female sperm only can create female babies)!
I have no idea what this article is about, when I watch ESPN, all I see is sports, coverage and news.
You are right, dear. You have no idea what this article is about. Go back to the game. Half time is over. The adults will join you later.
Funny.
‘American courts have yet to codify the cultural edict “all men are helots.”’ Yes, and for that reason courts are the only place that people can be required to focus on the facts. American courts have become the last refuge of those who would be judged, at least to some degree, on the truth. This is a remarkable achievement for American trial lawyers. Not only do they hold a monopoly on virtue in matters of dispute but they get richer by the minute. The writing is on the wall for ESPN. You have been suckered into the Radical Feminist and Leftist game. You will come to live by the lawsuit. Those who live by lawsuit die by lawsuit.
As it has been said before, “You’re only as free as your job will allow”.
…and now working for the government more and more.
What’s important here isn’t the sports. Athletes will compete against one another for the fun and sport of it, if they are truly in it for the “sport” of it. The money is just an adjunct.
While I was NEVER a ‘contender’ I would compete against others and myself just for the excuse to be extremely active. It was fun to me.
But ESPN, IMHBLO, is a business built up around sports, a niche business, if you will, designed to allow sports to fund careers of people who other wise would have to work for a living.
Eventually, it evolved into work to support the lavish expense and production goals of the ‘managerial’ staff, once almost all male.
During the ‘feminist’ movement, in order to penetrate “male dominated” professions there was some controversy about females in the locker rooms of males and male sports teams. But, as you can see, that no longer exists, much like the feminist movement itself.
The “sports” continue and will as athletes WILL compete. What has changed is the ‘viewer’ perception that women aren’t interested in sports enough to be good sports casters.
Well, where there is money, there is a way. Purists of old have faded out and today we have a GIANT industry left in the wake of what was a movement of ‘equality’ initially.
In case you still can’t see the light, as with everything else, the “equal opportunity” movement was designed to reverse discrimination backwards onto ‘whitey’. Not to provide equal opportunity for the most qualified, but to make a separate set of standards by which “minorities” could (and would) be afforded BY LAW a place inside the ‘gates’ of: (you name the “opportunity” here).
Not all minorities use this crowbar to enter into an “opportunity” but today the culture is institutionalized as well as statutory. The U.S.A.G., Holder, exposed these facts two years ago. The only non qualified (legally) people for such consideration are white western european Caucasians.
I did find it odd during college football season that all, or what seemed like all, the on-field reporting was done by women. It was ridiculous. I wonder how the coaches and players feel being asked about big hits and plays by a woman.
I recently noticed this year, how pervasive the female sports reporter on the sideline, doing interviews, etc, was this year on the big networks covering NFL games. It’s like they’re playing catchup with ESPN.
I see it as, the smarmy guy you invite to watch a football game and he just smoozes the women in the kitchen the whole time. That’s what a lot of ESPN has become. Chickified. They cover all the title 9 crap too. I’m sick of WNBA games and womens volleyball and womens golf.
I’m a cretin, but I like men’s sports and I don’t want to hear some sports-jock prissy woman interview atheletes about how they “feel” or about their wives or their favorite color..
We need another football movie where Goldie Hawn, Whoopi Goldberg or Sandra Bullock take over a losing football team and miraculously, they become a great team. That’s so realistic!!!
The comments from respondents here who talk about watching ESPN and seeing only sports coverage are neon-red herrings. They don’t address the point.
I could say of Wal-Mart that whenever I go to it, all I see is thousands and thousands of consumer items priced lower than in most places, and that works fine for me. Would that trounce the arguments of those who have sued Wal-Mart for discriminating against women?
If the argument doesn’t work for one case, it doesn’t work for the other. Meanwhile, I wouldn’t be too hard on ESPN. Businesses are subject to the sovereignty of law and the courts. ESPN avoided a lawsuit by dumping Franklin.
Businesses are highly motivated to avoid such lawsuits; every time there is one, grievance groups show up at the business’s HQ for the standard photo ops, forced reeducation sessions, and shakedowns. If your choice is between firing Ron Franklin and paying through the nose to defend a case brought against you by Gloria Allred — well, if you’d pick Gloria Allred, that’s why you’re not an executive at ESPN.
Businesses can’t fix this. Their only choice is to fly under the radar as much as possible and avoid lawsuits. Either the people fix this — by cycling back around to a more responsible view of what law is for — or it won’t get fixed.
Obama calls female reporter, “Sweety”…
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Juy9NwI8_i0
Reaction from the leftist MSM, “….[crickets/]….”
Just look at how ESPN covered the Tiger story last year, the Vick story three years ago and how they covered Farve texting his johnson.
They’re PC … bigtime
Bernard,
I agree with you on this mostly, but upon the infidelity not being a reasonable cause of termination I have to disagree. A traitor is a traitor, be they of the finance, national, or romance variety. Honor and honesty must be required of any employee or partner.
I may be wrong but I think the infidelity point being made was if a female talking head became involved in an affair it would not be a terminating offense. Just when s male does it.
I don’t see why White men tolerate the disrespect that is heaped on them. Perhaps it is time for a White Man Caucus or something or perhaps it is time that men begin behaving like the men of old and kick some a** when being reviled. These twits that keep prancing around sporting events look and act just like that- twits, so I never watch them. I am all for equal work/equal pay and that type thing, however I don’t think that women need to be hounding athletes just like I don’t think that men need to be working at Victoria’s Secret. As far as the old dykes in the ‘liberated woman’ movement- look at them. They are a miserable lot, full of rancor and nastiness. Frankly I think they are embarrassing. Hang in there, men. Some women like guys the way they used to be.
“Professional Sports” is a joke. I like to play sports, not watch ‘em and make a bunch of black pimps filthy rich so I could really care less if some jackwagon gets fired because some other jackwagon cried fowl.
You know what makes some men look stupid? Sitting on the couch yelling at the tv screen with a beer in one hand and the remote in another.
Get off the couch, fat idiots and get some fresh air!
The US is by far the worlds most PC obsessed country.
My theory is that it is caused by the innate desire all Americans possesses to be the “good guy”. The hero in a John Ford movie with the white Stetson. The same desire that also causes Americans to want to be the worlds policeman, cure hunger in Africa and save the whales.
Albeit this “good guy” streak occasionally gets interrupted by an almost equally great desire to be professional and businesslike which sometimes leads to cynical deals with the devil and egotistical protection of national interests through sinister organisations such as the CIA and various other government spin offs which run completely contrary to the “good guy” agenda….Cough!
But lets forget that last part for a now and focus on the “good guy” “syndrome” if you will. It truly is a remarkable thing if you think about it. This desire within all Americans to be “good” is totally unmatched by any other culture in history. The upside to this is well known and documented by the immeasurable positive impact America has had on the world. And the downside (there might be others) appears to be a propensity towards political correctness that is quite frankly borderline insane.
I will fight for the safety of women everywhere, everyday.BUT I cannot stand the snobby nosed little cretins who think they are right just because they are women. Alas,I married one and I love her dearly,BUT she thinks women are always logical and correct. This may be true, because they cannot do anything that takes the use of a tool ,or the reading of instructions.
MEN,will toss the instruction book away and build the item without it.
WOMEN, will read the instructions and then hand the item over to a man to be built.
I am told at least twice a day that women can do two things at the same time. It’s a pity those two are not thinking and speaking.
I can see that most writing comments here have not encountered PC With Teeth and do not work in education or government. PC is in total control in all of our educational systems. It controls behavior and the content of education. To take a clear example, the EPA is now totally a PC organization, pursuing Leftist environmental goals on the basis of non-existent science. Why are there women doing sideline commentary during football games? PC. There is no other reason. Women have the same disadvantage understanding football that men have understanding childbirth.
great piece Bernard …I knew there was a reason I didn’t watch ESPN.
regards.
Professional poor little girls – feminism’s triumph.
ESPN sucks. Has for some time now. I can’t wait for a black ex-footballer or basketballer to say something off-color to a woman. What will ESPN do then? Both victim groups going at each other; that I’d pay big money to see.
All the white reporters who started the station are being kicked to the curb. The flavor of the month is black ex-ballers.
Something else that disgusts me about ESPN is that they cover for egregious behavior of the other pro athletes giving legitimacy for what they did and showing youth it’s okay to be a thug as long as you can be a good baller.
There will be no equality until women step up to the plate and start wars and rape and pillage all the inhabitants of said war.
Women and men will not be ‘equal’ until they can take a man hostage and rape him and impregnate him with a micro-uterus which is injected into his belly with an already fertilized egg for which he will be forced to carry for 9 months lest he be called a murderer.
Women and men will not be “equal” until they can pump up their muscles and become stronger than their male counterparts for a “fair fight”.
Women and men will be “equal” when one sex doesn’t brag about their ‘genius’ and ‘accomplishments’ when they know damned well women were purposely shut off from education for fear of their ‘genius’ that might EMERGE, and excuse me while I point out you MOTHER raised you for the most part including birthing your head out of her genital region and breast-feeding you from those things you love to call “Fun bags” so degradingly.
So, men, besides learning how to enslave others to get ahead and create a “great society” what else you got? Because, frankly, you all suck in the sack and you should make prostitution legal because you don’t deserve ‘free sex’ (if any at all).
Now, go whine into your jock-straps some more about how hard you have it for all the internet to see what pussified wussies you are.
Misandry is such a soft word. This person exemplifies my own term for man-hater, Misophalic. So I’ll see your misandry, and raise you some misogyny.
I think prostitution should be legal too. At least then the payment is honest, because sex is never free. The payment is listening to you bitch and moan about your co-workers for endless hours in hopes we might be able to convince you to have sex because we listened and ‘cough’ ‘cough’ cared. We wouldn’t have to waste our money on Hallmark nonsense to feed your easily bruised egos; or buy you dinner, or take you dancing. We wouldn’t waste our time at stupid social establishments buying drinks (which you’re an idiot if you do, men).
We could do fun crap with our friends and never have to worry about the implications at home. We wouldn’t have to endure any of the manipulation games. We just get together, get right to business, and then, and most importantly, you leave, and we go back to our hobbies uninterrupted. Prostitution is a valuable service.
A undeniable fact of life is the poster of the beautiful woman which reads, “Somebody, somewhere is tired of her crap.”
Ah! You and Mansong make a perfect pair!
Well, so much for feminine mystique.
Panties twisted?
Wow!! Seriously, Wow!!
Key to watching any and all Sports Programs,
First, watch Live Events only, Turn down the sound, the announcers do not say anything you need to know.
Let me know when ESPN has some ugly old fat women on the sidelines. Somehow, the standards are for young, tall, blond, and perky are the only gals on the sidelines. Where is the balance for ugly women.
Do not watch any sports news type programs. There is nothing discussed worth knowing.
Do not watch any pre game programs, ever. Wait for the Game to Start.
Do not expect anyone on any of the Sports or News Channels to be a real Conservative. Al Michaels may be the most conservative, and he is very quiet, except when talking about Football.
“Women are noble, independent, superior beings and the hidden geniuses behind human achievement.”
Technically, isn’t the plural of geniuses “genii”? I guess, though, that would bring up images of Barbara Eden in a harem outfit, certainly sure to offend the fairer sex (oops, are they fairer anymore?)
Good thing feminists don’t run pro football. There would be no written rules, and lots of instant replays.
ESPN is definitely steeped in the ‘victim mentality’ culture. I loved them up until about 10 (?) or so years ago, when they ran a series of stories on how tough it was being a gay man in pro football. What?? I watch sports for sports, people; not for social commentary. If you aren’t a white male, you’re a victim per ESPN rules. Although it seems to be dominated by white men as the ‘faces’ of ESPN. Weird, huh?
A man does well to love his wife and his mother and treat all other women with courtesy and neutrality remembering that anything else may give you problems you don’t want. I lost a career to female gamesmanship and I’m a mechanic now. I’ve come to like it that way, I work alone and am accountable only to my customers and myself. I’ve lost a few accounts to ignorant women who don’t want to deal with a man they can’t control, and I say good riddance. Like it or not the US is a female dominated society, and it is not a good thing.
Uncle Bern,
Just to let you know I was one of the few you mentioned that would read the piece…

@mansong:
It’s not men’s fault that they are sexually clueless as far as women’s pleasure is concerned because they have never cared about that even though women are actually equipped with genitalia which is for the sole purpose of her pleasure and men’s genitalia is purely for propagation of the species. Yes, most men are just mindless rutting genitalia spurting into any hole available in order to get off regardless of propagating of the species which is why you end up with a Bill Clinton idiot.
Sports are homo. Men who love to be with men need to sex them too and leave women alone. The less closet cases harassing women with their anger and self-pity, the better.
It’s that time of month, isn’t it?
Nice. I guess you told us spurters eh?
There’s a reason cats have little nubs on their tongues and women love them… ahem.
Enjoy your cats.
