Dr. Arieh Eldad – The Pajamas Media Interview – Part 1

Dr. Arieh Eldad is a member of the Israeli Knesset (Moledet Party) and an Israel Defense Forces Brigadier-General (reserves). He is also head of the plastic surgery and burns unit at the Hadassah Medical Center hospital in Jerusalem and considered a worldwide expert in the treatment of burns. He has therefore met the terrorism of our times – from suicide bombers to their victims – in a manner that is truly up close and personal.

This is the first in a three-part interview with Dr. Eldad by the husband and wife filmmaker team of Daphne Weisbart and Michael Fenenbock. The team will be doing other similar interviews for Pajamas Media.

    I have known Aryeh since 1967 when we climbed the Bar Kochba fortress at Betar and consider his late father my mentor (some of his articles in English can be found here. I have high hopes that Aryeh may yet pull us out of the morass our misguided peaceniks have sunk us into.
