As we watch the bloom come off the Hope & Change rose, I wonder when Afghanistan will start to creep into the American psyche? The AP reports that four American soldiers were killed in eastern Afghanistan on Sunday. I’ll bet very few people read that in their dying local liberal newspapers. Will there be a body count published everyday on Obama’s watch? If not, why not? Will your local rag be profiling local Guardsmen and women heading to Afghanistan for their second or third tour? If the NY Times is still around in June, will we see what the recruitment figures are for new high school grads? Will some Dem congressman reintroduce a bill to reinstitute the draft?

Don’t hold your breath……..but you should ask your progressive friends these questions. And keep asking.

Wow, how’s that for gall? Little lady’s sporting a set of big brass ones, ain’t she? On one side you got Cheney saying, “You can’t blame Bush for the economy” and on the other you got Dana Peroxide saying that if anything good happens with the economy, Bush deserves the credit.

Is it any wonder why all the smart, fair and progressive people turned away from that gang and toward Obama?

137 Tom … that has been my thought since the election. Once the # of voters (legal or not) who want to live on welfare checks of all sorts outnumber those of us accustomed to working for a living, all future elections will go their way.

Unfortunately, there is such a thing as being outnumbered at the ballot box by lazy, dishonest people. I’m afraid we had an example of it in November.
