Does Obama Really Want to Bring the Benghazi Killers to Justice?
On October 18, appearing on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, President Barack Obama claimed that his administration would track down the terrorists who killed Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other Americans at the Benghazi consulate on the 11th anniversary of the September 11 attacks. Speaking of a forceful response to the assassinations, Obama reiterated a pledge that “we were going to hunt down whoever did it and bring them to justice.”
The notion of “bringing the terrorists to justice” has been a central plank of the Obama administration’s national security policy since taking office. Eager to distance himself from predecessor George W. Bush, Obama called for a more dignified foreign policy and greater respect for human rights. In an April 2007 speech to the Chicago Council on Global Affairs, candidate Obama declared:
This election offers us the chance to turn the page and open a new chapter in American leadership. The disappointment that so many around the world feel toward America right now is only a testament to the high expectations they hold for us. We must meet those expectations again, not because being respected is an end in itself, but because the security of America and the wider world demands it.
This will require a new spirit – not of bluster and bombast, but of quiet confidence and sober intelligence, a spirit of care and renewed competence. It will also require a new leader. And as a candidate for President of the United States, I am asking you to entrust me with that responsibility.
Candidate Obama reiterated this “new spirit” in his response to the 2008 conviction of Salim Hamdan, a driver for Osama bin Laden, in the first trial by military commission since 1945:
It’s time to better protect the American people and our values by bringing swift and sure justice to terrorists through our courts and our Uniform Code of Military Justice.
Obama was careful to add that “it was long past time to capture or kill Osama bin Laden and the terrorists who murdered nearly 3000 Americans.” That was rhetorical flourish, however. The abiding moral concern in the early days of his administration was to focus on prosecutions of terrorists who had brought war against the American people, and in that regard he would be “unlike his predecessor.”
In the days and weeks after the attack at the Libya consulate last month, members of the administration reiterated the president’s pledge to bring the Benghazi terrorists to justice. On the morning after the attack, President Obama resolved:
We will not waver in our commitment to see that justice is done for this terrible act. And make no mistake, justice will be done.
On September 21, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, at a press conference with Pakistani Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar, announced:
What happened in Benghazi was a terrorist attack, and we will not rest until we have tracked down and brought to justice the terrorists who murdered four Americans.
On October 11, Obama’s deputy campaign manager Stephanie Cutter, responding to the devastating political backlash against the administration, claimed that ”POTUS’ priorities are getting facts & bringing terrorists to justice.”
And at the final presidential debate of 2012, on October 22 in Boca Raton, Florida, President Obama again reiterated the administration’s pledge to bring the terrorists to justice:
Now, with respect to Libya, as I indicated in the last debate, when we received that phone call, I immediately made sure that, number one, we did everything we could to secure those Americans who were still in harm’s way; number two, that we would investigate exactly what happened; and number three, most importantly, that we would go after those who killed Americans, and we would bring them to justice, and that’s exactly what we’re going to do.
Yet despite such apparently fervent announcements, there’s mixed evidence on the administration’s commitment to apprehending the Benghazi suspects. Indeed, in the context of Obama’s larger conduct of the war on terror, the emerging evidence from the history of U.S. counter-terrrorism shows a long-standing rejection of the so-called “law and order” approach to apprehending terrorists.
First, in a literally shocking report at the New York Times on October 19, Ahmed Abu Khattala, one of the key “ringleaders” of the Benghazi attack, purportedly “spent two leisurely hours on Thursday evening at a crowded luxury hotel, sipping a strawberry frappe on a patio and scoffing at the threats coming from the American and Libyan governments.” According to the report, Abu Khattala indicated that there was no effective U.S. investigation going on in Benghazi, “no authority has even questioned him about the attack, he said, and he has no plans to go into hiding.”
Second, while Abu Khattala’s comments are brazen and perhaps exaggerated, it’s true that the FBI failed to send investigators to the diplomatic compound for nearly a month after the attack. And out of that delay comes another dilemma: the prospect of criminal trials for the perpetrators. Alana Goodman at Commentary, discussing the long-delayed FBI investigation, raised questions surrounding criminal trials:
…we’re now almost a month out from the attack, and the Obama administration still hasn’t said whether it will deal with the terrorists behind it….
There’s also the question of where to prosecute the terrorists — can the U.S. risk allowing them to go to trial in Libya? Or trust the prison system in a country that’s still undergoing a tumultuous transition? Trying the terrorists in the U.S. brings its own batch of problems. Even if the FBI is able to build a strong case from its late investigation, there will be controversy over giving terrorists a court platform, and debates over where to put them if they are convicted.
Frankly, emerging evidence on the administration’s counter-terror policies suggests that Obama would rather avoid criminal prosecutions of the suspects — evidence that disturbingly contradicts the president’s earlier grandiose statements about American values and global standards of universal justice.
According to Steve Coll in a recent article at the New York Review of Books titled “Dead or Alive,” as a practical and political matter the administration rejects the capture of terrorists during military operations. Drawing on Navy SEAL Mark Owens’ recently published book on the Abbottabad raid that killed Osama bin Laden, Coll writes:
…the Obama administration’s terrorist-targeting and detention system is heavily biased toward killing, inconsonant with constitutional and democratic principles, and unsustainable. The president has become personally invested in a system of targeted killing of dozens of suspected militants annually by drone strikes and Special Forces raids where the legal standards employed to designate targets for lethal action or to review periodic reports of mistakes are entirely secret.
When he ordered the mission that killed bin Laden, Obama slew a dragon at once dangerous and shrouded by myth. Bissonnette [Mark Owens] expressed a kind of contempt for bin Laden for not fighting back:
I think in the end, he taught a lot of people to do—you know, martyr themselves and he masterminded the 9/11 attacks. But in the end, he wasn’t even willing to roger up himself with a gun and put up a fight. So I think that speaks for itself.
Operation Neptune Spear succeeded on its own terms but it has exposed how far the grinding machinery of American counterterrorism operations has drifted from the ideals Obama enunciated in his National Archives speech. If Obama is elected to a second term, he will have the political space to reset his kill list policies, to restore to greater primacy missions that seek to capture terrorists and diminish and expose them by putting them on trial for their crimes. Such a change of course would require a fuller measure of political courage than that needed to order the SEALs to Abbottabad.
The account of this extreme reluctance to capture bin Laden is confirmed in Mark Bowden’s recent report on the Abbottabad raid at Vanity Fair, “Inside Osama Bin Laden’s Final Hours—and How the White House Chose Their Assassination Plot“:
Three SEALs came up the stairs methodically, scanning different angles, searching while protecting one another. The first man up spotted a tall, bearded, swarthy man in a prayer cap wearing traditional Pakistani clothes, a knee-length flowing shirt over pajama-like bottoms. The SEAL fired and the man retreated quickly. The teammates followed. As the first SEAL entered the bedroom, he saw bin Laden on the floor, but first had to contend with [Bin Laden's wife] Amal, who shouted and moved in front of her husband. The SEAL knocked her aside as his teammates stood over the mortally wounded bin Laden and fired killing shots into his chest.
The engagement was over in seconds. Amal had been shot in the leg. Bin Laden had weapons on a shelf in his bedroom, but had not picked them up. His identity was unmistakable, even with the grotesque hole through his right forehead. When he was shot he had not been surrendering, but neither had he been resisting. It is impossible to second-guess men in a firefight, but the available evidence suggests that if the SEALs’ first priority had been to take bin Laden alive he would be in U.S. custody today. What is more likely is that the SEALs had no intention of taking bin Laden alive, even though no one in the White House or chain of command had issued such an order. It would have taken a strong directive to capture him alive to preempt the instinct to kill him. The men who conducted the raid were hardened to violence and death. Their inclination would have been to shoot bin Laden on sight, just as they shot the other men they encountered in the compound.
From the account it’s clear that the SEALs’ “first priority” wasn’t the capture of Bin Laden. And it’s easy to see why: The United States had been hunting the al-Qaeda mastermind for over a decade, and most Americans would have little quarrel with the death during firefight of the man considered responsible for the September 11 attacks. But the evidence suggests that a firefight never took place. Bin Laden never lifted a weapon in self-defense. And since the SEALs were not killing the occupants of the safe house indiscriminately, it’s entirely possible that Bin Laden could have been arrested on the spot.
But doing so would have created enormous problems inherent to the history of the Obama administration’s national security policy, from the much-criticized policy of targeted killings to the attempts to try terrorists in civilian courts. Running for office on a platform of humanitarian idealism is one thing. Carrying out an effective counter-terrorism policy amid an enormous range of domestic and international constraints is another. What’s most likely is that the invocation of “bringing the terrorists to justice” is just a horribly dishonest ruse that this administration keeps alive for convenient but coldly calculated political utility. And as such, it’s clear that Republican attacks of deceit and dishonesty against Obama — with growing claims of a cover up on the entire Libya debacle — are in fact embedded in a history of national security duplicity that this president has foisted on the American people since taking office. The election on November 6 will ultimately reveal whether the country has had enough of it.

Obama will kill the Libyan terrorists with a drone attack. It will be the ‘October Surprise’ (along w/nuclear negotiations w/Iran, he denied in tonight’s debate).
Obama also doesn’t want the terrorists to claim, truthfully, that Stevens was recruiting jihadis in Libya to fight in Syria — which is what this whole ‘video caused the demonstrations’ obfuscation was all about.
Why was Stevens killed by terrorists when he was recruiting terrorists? That is the real question.
“Bringing to justice” is Obama’s code word for directing drone strikes. Never mind the legally sticky stuff that used to involve Gitmo and Eric Holder. Now it’s the unacknowledged kill list the president uses to …well…kill bad guys.
Our nation’s concept of justice for all can go hang.
“Bringing to justice” is Obama’s code word for directing drone strikes.
Very true.
But there’s something sick about a President, who does very little of anything, individually picking out who gets hit by a drone. Barry does this in AfPak and will repeat this pattern in Libya.
The “Bring to justice” started with Bush Jr. – it was bullshit then and it still is.
Maybe it was meaningless but I liked Bush’s statement about getting them …”dead or alive” I think the perpetrators will have long beards by the time, if ever, they are brought to justice. Remember the old west and string them up on an oil well or something.
Well, in this case, what would this guy be charged with? If you are in a war, it’s not out of bounds to attack people like Ambassador Stevens who are doing espionage work.
That’s the trouble with unconventional and undeclared wars -you have no real goals, no clear enemy, no real idea what to do with said enemy, just a vague description of “terrorists” where terrorism is now defined as any sort of attack against US interests, be it soldiers on the battlefield or a US government espionage operation, like this.
Terrorism once meant deliberate attacks against civilians, like 9/11 or what Israel dealt with suicide bombers attacking cafes and buses and nightclubs. But as we move further away from that definition, the war on terror is going to meander and be confused, which is a danger for all of us.
The language we use to deal with the Islamists’ war on the West is hopelessly muddled. The attack on our consulate in Benghazi was not a terrorist attack (neither was it a mob action) because the target was not civilians but rather it was a government facility of ours, and because the attacker’s goal was not to spread terror but to cripple our ability to operate in the region while at the same time scoring a propaganda coup. They succeeded at both. And to say the attackers are terrorists is to confuse an identity with a tactic they sometimes employ. The attackers, Ansar al Sharia, may be more properly called a revolutionary militia or army, because their purpose is to overthrow governments in the region and to drive out western interests. Muddled language means muddled thinking, and muddled thinking leads to incoherent action, unforseen consequences and defeat. Everyody, Democrat or Republican, is using muddled language, and politicians are especially bad about it because their careers rise or fall on the obfuscation of truth. And it will lead us to defeat.
Yep we all love teachers don’t we . you Teachers they and the rest of Academia are the ones brainwashing all those gullible, naive young minds full of mush that they teach with Left Wing moonbattery and they have been doing so for DECADES now. The battle against the moonbats starts in the schools and Colleges and until and unless that is won then Western Democracies will continue in their downward spiral in to Socialist mediocrity. Then Islam with its misogynistic, homosexual hating (what a pity the LBGT community willfully blinds THEMSELVES to this) , anti semitic, anti West, slave making will dominate and the world will sink in to chaos.
Ah, but then we shall all enjoy the peace that is islam. Won’t we?
I must presume you class yourself as a member of Academia do you Harvard Yard. So why the stupidity Islamic ‘Peace’ is a myth . If you are not a Muslim you cannot be classed as ‘innocent’ only Muslims are all others are GUILTY of not worshiping allah. If you are guilty you are fair game to Muslims. Of course you could be a Dhimmi and live a life of a second class citizen in perpetual servitude to your Muslim betters and pay the TAX on Dhimmis. Or you could become a Muslim too but they are the ONLY options available in Dar Al Islam.
But then of course when there are no Kaffirs or JEWS to kill Muslims turn on each other. This has been ongoing since Islam and allah were INVENTED by Mohammad. Sunnis and Shia have been at perpetual war for 1400 years. This is now ongoing in Iraq and Syria and Lebanon and Jordan where the proxies of Sunni Sordid Saudi are fighting the proxies of disgusting Shia Iran.
You see the Hate and Death CULT of Islam demands constant bloodletting.
So Islamic Peace you say do you Harvard what a joke that is and you are.
At what point does someone become so pragmatic that they can’t detect sarcasm?
my guess is sarc meters shut down about Jan 20, 2009 but I’m neither an academic nor a partisan.
It is an insane proposition to bring said ‘killers’ to justice, when a leadership can’t even identify their motives and their underlying ethos/ideology. It is a preposterous smoke screen, chiefly to quiet the masses.
Pray tell, will the ‘killers’ be charged with ‘workplace violence’, or some other inane charges? Serious, truthful people deliberate with clear eyed focus, and this is NOT the case with the Islamist-in-Chief, nor with his like-minded surrogates.
A true Commander-in-Chief takes charge from the onset,he certainly doesn’t bob, dodge & weave for days on end, even sending out his mouthpieces to weave tall tales.
At the end of the day, the Liar-in-Chief did what he does best – he threw Hill under the bus. But, in every scenario a silver lining can be gleaned, but only if you look hard enough -http://adinakutnicki.com/2012/10/18/hillary-takes-the-fall-for-the-potus-in-bengazigate-but-there-is-a-silver-lining-shining-the-spotlight-on-huma-abedin-addendum-to-uncovering-the-tip-of-huma-abedins-spear-the-house-of-al-sa/
This time is no exception.
In this case I don’t think the truth will set anyone free, hence the absurd cover-up. It’s probable that someone drew O a red line that he dare not cross (nor anyone else in this admin). That’s what’s so disturbing about this. They watched it live. Need I say more?
There have been approximately 20,000 DEADLY Muslim attacks all over the world just since 9/11 and countless thousands before then too.
So what has the USURPER and the moonbats done about them?
A “terrorist trial” would be interesting to watch. But only insofar as the fact that it would likely end very quickly.
That is because any defense attorney with half a brain would ask, up front, “If this occurred in (insert name of country here), why is it being tried in an American court? Since when is (country) in U.S. jurisdiction?”
With the possible exception of an attack on a U.S. embassy or legation (by common usage considered sovereign territory of the nation holding same), any terrorist attack on foreign soil would legally only be actionable in that country’s legal system, regardless of where the victims were from.
The only exception I can see would be to regard terrorists as pirates have traditionally been regarded, that is as “enemies of mankind in common”. But that exception was made for the pursuit of pirates on the high seas, usually ending with their death at the hands of naval personnel (cf. Bartholomew Roberts, Edward Teach aka “Blackbeard”). Those pirates who were actually tried tended to face the bar of justice in their native countries (William Kidd being a case in point).
In cases where this model has been pursued against terrorism, you have to go back nearly four decades to show a (semi) successful version. That being the arrest and conviction of members of the various left-wing extremist groups in Europe in the 1970s, such as the Brigade Rosse, Renko Sekigun, German Red Army Faction (aka Baader-Meinhof), and the Angry Brigade in the UK. I would also point out that the usual response from the terrorists was to grab hostages and demand the release of their compatriots; admittedly, less probable today, after 9/11/2001. (The more likely outcome today would be mass retaliation killings- car bombings, etc.)
I submit that the “legalistic” aka “law enforcement” model of counter-terrorism fails badly overall. The fact that Obama demands it, while pursuing a remote-control “kill policy”, strongly indicates that even he doesn’t really believe in it.
Which makes his advocacy of it sophistry of the worst sort. Not that that would be surprising from him, or the “progressives” in general.

9/11 happened in the US.
Ambassador Stevens’ murder, and those of the others murdered along with him, didn’t. And they didn’t happen on sovereign U.S. soil, either, as the Benghazi “safe house” was neither an embassy or an official consulate.
Which was my point.

The Murder of 4 Americans (on 9/11)caught hugobama sleeping;can’t rewind history, can’t place proper security there now! In a street fight its not time to defend yourself from what just happened but to be alert for whats coming next.Mali is attacking Nigeria,Sudan is at war with Southern Sudan, and Lebanon is on fire! A defensive posture is called for, meaningful alliances with our friends and peoples of common cause.I am talking about the containment of RADICAL ISLAM,when hugobama is talking about talking!
Just another case of “work place violence” to this Obuma Admin.
Capturing the Benghazi attackers would present the same problem as capturing bin Laden – we’d have definitive proof, and direct testimony, that Iran is complicit in virtually all of the terrorism in the world. If I already know the answer to “Who is responsible for all the terrorism” is Iran and I’m adamantly opposed to doing anything about Iran then I won’t ask the question.
This, of course, was also the policy of the Bush Administration which makes it appear that, at the highest levels of government, there actually is a desired optimal level of murder and mayhem. The WOT has been extremely useful in expanding governmental power, why rock the boat by identifying the actual source of the problem? At least Obama hasn’t, yet, bombed an aspirin factory.
Government – keeping us safe from non-existent threats while ignoring the real threats that lead to war.
Obama “will not rest” until the killers are “brought to justice?”
If he hadn’t gone to sleep the night the Americans were killed in Benghazi, but instead had ordered a rescue response, he wouldn’t have to be swearing “not to rest” now.
I hadn’t thought of it this way but you’re absolutely right. Just another obama lie about not resting until he catches them.
Terrorists don’t need to be brought to justice . They need to be killed.
Does Obama Really Want to Bring the Benghazi Killers to Justice?
Sure . . . as much as O.J. wants to bring Nicole’s killer to justice.
One of the commentors on the Ulsterman Report brought up the likelihood that Obama sent Nicole to Benghazi deliberately so that he would be kidnapped; Obama could then trade the Blink Sheik to get him back. The would-be-abductors simply got a little too rough.
I don’t want the Bengazi killers brought to justice. I want them killed swiftly and certainly. I’m about a hair’s bredth from thinking it would be a good idea to kill their entire families in the kind of message that the Russians would deliver. If we had the Russians’ tough attitude about not messing with them, instead of our psychobabble, therapeutic, hand-holding, Kumbaya, “we want to be loved, not feared” mentality, we’d have much less trouble with these primatives still living in the 9th Century.
I invite you to attend reality. Want them captured? He wants to give them a medal. After all he’s going to stand with the muslims when things get rough. He said so.
Yawn! There is nothing more than team Obama would want than to be past this bump in the road. His do nothing lead from behind approach appeals to the peace at any price crowd.
Even if he has actionable intelligence, stalling/running out the clock on the election gives him the cover of acting rationally. When he loses the election he can dump that problem as well as sequestration and the debt onto Romney. Obama’s work is finished. If the voters are daft enough to re-elect him then his legacy will be his own amplified burden.
obama wants the murderers caught only if there is sufficient time to get hollywood to produce a special on it to play along with the National Geographic production of the “Gettin’ Osama” special to be aired on Nov. 4th. Timing is everything.
I’ve read “No Easy Day”, I have no need of hollywood’s take on ANYTHING!
if the Fraud wins again, all prior statements are out the door. Everything he has ever said was said for one purpose, and one purpose only…to get elected.
I can’t imagine a scenario where he will go after a muslim if he wins again. If that happens, it will be because real Americans in the administration took it upon themselves to override his orders.
Does obama really want the bring the Benghazi killers to justice?
Well, sure … if you accept his definition of justice.
Worst case result — Nice comfy country club like retreat for the terrorists, with specially prepared meals, un-monitored meetings with their legal mouth pieces, handing of their koran with gloves, special times for training, premium medical & dental care etc.
Good result — 72 virgins (or nice grapes depending upon what is the correct translation of the pedophile’s writings)
Best result — a show trial resulting in an acquittal or dismissal of charges because obama’s hand picked prosecutors ‘acted stupidly’

“in a literally shocking report”
Folks, let’s avoid using the Biden-esque definition of “literally”, shall we?
Sorry, pet peeve.
Anyway. Let’s all remember to ask potential swing voters; compare Watergate to Benghazi-gate. What was the body count associated with Watergate? Hmmm?
Obama is about as interested in finding out who was responsible for the Benghazi attack as O.J. Simpson was in “finding out” who was really responsible for his wife’s murder. Forget it. This whole thing will be ignored until after the election. If Obama loses, he will have even less incentive to “get to the bottom” of the Benghazi attack. And don’t think Hillary Clinton is going to change anything at the State Department. To do so would be to admit that she screwed up in Libya, and Hillary would never admit to that (she cynically accepted “responsibility” for the lack of security, but NONE of the blame; there is a big difference). And if Obama loses, do you really think Romney is going to want to start off his brand-new administration by attacking the previous administration’s handling of Benghazi? I doubt it. It will be quietly forgotten by the mainstream media and the American people probably won’t care. The economy dwarfs all other issues and in the grand scheme of things (especially to the Democrats), what’s the big fuss over four dead Americans?
But if (God forbid) Obama wins the election, Benghazi and the coverup that followed will be Obama’s Watergate, which means that he will have even less incentive to investigate it.
Either way, win or lose, I doubt anybody will do much of anything about what happened in Libya, and THAT is the real tragedy of this story.
Obama reiterated a pledge that “we were going to hunt down whoever did it and bring them to justice.” BUT HOW WHEN
“Allah is our objective. The Prophet is our leader. The Quran is our law. Jihad is our way. Dying in the way of Allah is our highest hope.”
WILL THIS RESURRECT THE VICTIMS…OR SOVEREIGNTY… OR WHAT ???
SHOULDN’T IT BE PREVENTED!!????
THAT DUMMY ROMNEY COULD SHUT OFF BERRY’S BOLSHEVIK MOUTH WITH THAT SIMPLE SENTENCE.
ROMNEY ALSO SHOULD POINT OUT THAT BERRY WAS ACTIVELY PREPARING THE MUSLIM BROTHERHOOD FOR THE TAKE OVER OF EGYPT BECAUSE HE HIMSELF IS A MUSLIM… APPLYING TAQIYYA.
ALSO:
ALL HIS DOCUMENTS ARE SEALED ON HIS OWEN ORDER.
FALSIFIED BIRTH-CERTIFICATE.
AND THERE WAS IRAN’S GREEN REVOLUTION
And so on and on…
DEFINITELY BERRY IS ON THE SIDE OF ISLAM.
And then America vote for him.
It is no wonder that the American public by outsiders is considered degenerated and called stupid.
Does Obama Really Want to Bring the Benghazi Killers to Justice?… no he wants to bring the killers to Columbia University so they can geet tenure
No he wants to have a discussion and negotiations with them: isn’t that obvious?
POTUS is a Marxist and believes it is possible to manage the conflict, thesis, antithesis and synthesis to our advantage, just as the lefty secular Israeli government does.
It is beyond his kin to believe that a conflict can be won or the course of History, a purely scientific process, can be changed.
I remember Clinton on tv after this terrorist attack or that terrorist attack, pointing his stubby digit at us and swearing he’d not rest until the perps were brought to justice. None of them ever were during his terms. In fact, one of obama’s decisions was to let go the Cole bombing suspects (well, he told Yemen to let them go).
Dems are not interested in bringing terrorists to justice. They actually believe America deserves to be bombed and our citizens killed. They’d LOVE it if the streets of NY and Chicago were war zones with bombs going off every day and blood running in the streets.
I can just see the fake concern on the faces of the talking heads as they describe a school bus blown to bits in downtown Oakland. Perfect opportunity for the police state to be enacted – all for the public good, you know!
The question that I have is this:
With all the highly classified info that Obama has had access to over the past four years, do we trust him not to give this info to our enemies?
His actions show him not to be trustworthy, his actions have demonstrated his disdain for the US and its inhabitants.
He let Benghazi happen, what will he set in motion once he is gone?
“With all the highly classified info that Obama has had access to over the past four years, do we trust him not to give this info to our enemies?”
Absolutely not. Just as Nixon gave highly damaging and controversial secrets to China as a good faith gesture, Obama will do the same with American and Israeli defense secrets to the Persians when he meets with them. And meet with them he will whether he wins re-election or not. The man is every bit as dangerous as a lame duck as he will be as a second term president.
Don’t know how that showed up as Anon, but that was me.
Of course not! His precious ones are just that: his heart.
It’s looking as though Obama went to sleep as real time information and video was streaming in about Americans under an hours long attack, while we had assets an hour away, then got up the next day and went to Vegas. While it is true that we would have properly required the assent of the Libyan government (right) to conduct a military response, the subsequent cover-up, denial and blatant effort to simply evaporate the story in the face of the Obama campaign is a treasonous act that makes Watergate look like child’s play. The gulf in media response to this with uber-Leftist Obama in office, as opposed to a conservative, is awe inspiring. Were this a Republican president, it would be the biggest story with the highest media coverage for a single event since 9/11, and I have no doubt several demands for impeachment proceedings would have already come to pass.
Society is so conditioned to what really is a form of propaganda machine in our country that the lack of mainstream “coverage”, which is hardly a valid term any more, might actually be enough to brush aside this entire despicable dereliction to duty, this political sacrificing of American lives that was made so as not to endanger the Campaign with an actual judgement call that could not be based upon weeks of polling and propaganda build up to assure it would reflect favorably upon our dear leader. The very fact that we are having to piece this together largely by ourselves indicates that objective journalism is not only dead, it exists as the undead zombie that will do all in it’s power to push this man across the finish line for a second time, and in turn to once and for all extinguish what for them is the abominable myth of American exceptionalism and greatness in exchange for their own omniscience and totalitarian misery.
Fox is covering it, along with talk radio, but the question remains; will this be enough or will it require full congressional investigation and the time that entails to expose – and will the propagandists take it seriously even then? The admission of fault, culpability, even truth that they do not view as a benefit to their ends, is anathema to a Leftist, and they are so heavily, deeply invested in Barack Hussein Obama that they may well be along for the full ride which rightly shall deliver them into oblivion. We’ll see, and we will pay with the greatest hope for civilization, peace and prosperity if truth, justice and liberty do not prevail.
More Obama lies. He’ll say anything to get elected, then do whatever he wants, even if it’s unconstitutional (dream act, no work for welfare etc). He doesn’t seem to be asking the people that work for his administration who said it was the video, who ignored the pleas to send help etc. Does anyone really think he’ll persue this if he’s reelected.I didn’t trust him the first election and after seeing him in action I certainly don’t trust him now.
