You would think that with an entire nation watching this trial like no other since the OJ Simpson one that the state would strive very hard to ensure everything is fair and above board. Instead, the state has habitually endeavored to force a politically-driven verdict without regard for truth nor justice.

This trial has become a microcosm of our current administration; agenda-driven and righteousness be damned.

What in the world is your point? Plenty of airtight cases have been lost been the posecution made blunders. These idiots look like criminals themselves in their need to convict this man. All so a bunch of hooligans won't riot?

How many people have to die to appease blacks people need for revenge?

Judge Nelson - "Do you have anything to say before I pass sentence on your client?"

Don West - "Can we have a trial first?"

3rd degree & child abuse? Nah... Manslaughter?....Nah...Hey, i got an idea! Let's change the charge to JayWalking! It is no less ridiculous as the behavior of the Media-driven Kangaroo Kourt where the PA and the Judge have kept their heads stuck in their marsupial pouches.

Is this an example of American "exceptionalism" and the superiority of our judicial system?

I can not remember when judicial malfeasance has been so evident in a trial. This judge is literally a legal incompetent and the only reason she is sitting on the bench is through political connections, not her legal expertise. The simple fact that the state withheld the cellphone evidence until June, not allowing the defense to depose the people who communicated with Trayvon is enough for a mistrial already. Then when the judge displays her total incompetence by contenting that a 7 year old can hack into a cellphone and create fake messages is completely unbelievable.

This is nothing but a legal lynching driven by the Al Sharptons and Eric Holders who are setting the narrative for future trials. The word travesty is not strong enough in this case. George Zimmerman by all rights should be exonerated or the charges dropped immediately.

I am not a lawyer but it looks to me like this judge is prejudiced beyond belief. Ito in the OJ trial was just a wimpy incompetent. This witch is looking to lynch the defendant.

This trial is part of the last ditch efforts of the Obama Democrats and their (lL)Legal Ambulance chasers. and their criminal press. They will stoop to any subterfuge, fabricate any slander and murder by proxy, physically and ethically. Zimmermans response should be how can I get my life back and 2 billion dollars that the liberal press owes me for bringing horrendous, egregious defamation of character that may be terminal for him. Shame on the (In)Justice Department for their renegade political hits. To all people I say we have to hold responsible those who use this to foment race war. War it is. War it shall be unless responsible citizens stop the madness. Is this the country we leave our progeny.

On Wednesday, Judge Debra Nelson, who is presiding over the trial of George Zimmerman, repeatedly asked Zimmerman whether he would be testifying, over the objections of his attorneys. Nelson told Zimmerman that he had the “absolute right to remain silent” and then asked him whether he wanted to testify. Don West, Zimmerman’s attorney, objected; Nelson overruled him and said, “The court is entitled to inquire if Mr. Zimmerman’s determination as to whether or not he wants to testify.”
She asked Zimmerman how much time he wanted to figure out if he wanted to testify, to which West objected. Nelson then said, irritated, “Your objection is overruled!” Mark O’Mara, another of the defense attorneys whispered, “What is going on?”
Such exchanges are very unusual in criminal trials. Judges rarely confront possible witnesses or defendants on whether they will testify over the objections of attorneys.
A few minutes later, Judge Nelson continued to ask Zimmerman about whether he would testify. She gave him a few minutes to consider. Then she returned to Zimmerman and asked him whether he would testify; he said he would not. She then repeatedly asked whether it was his decision not to testify in the case, rather than the decision of his attorneys.

THIS IS JUDICIAL MISCONDUCT.

To further the misconduct, the "judge" is telling the jury to consider lesser charges to include child abuse. Yes, child abuse on the grounds that TRAY-von (yo) was 17 when his (off-to-a-very-bad-start) life was terminated.

Not sure how this fits in with appropriate magistrate-instruction. Seems kinda like telling a class how to answer the fill-in-the-blank sections on a test before they take it.

Clearly, this judge has had contact with the DOJ and/or some operatives of the administration. Banana-republic days are here. Hurray for us!

As much I probably wouldn't much care for Mr Zimmerman in normal circumstances, I am appalled at this railroading and obvious chicanery to meet the desired end by national socialists in order to foment hatred.

I must say my curiousity has been really piqued on one point--does Mr. Zimmerman himself care for Mr. Zimmerman under these circumstances? What would it be like for a Democratic community organizer to suddenly be turned on by his own political colleagues, who were obviously looking for a pretext to villify a white to rally the black vote to the polls, and when they failed to find one apparently settled on Mr. Zimmerman as a target that would do just fine? It seems to me that at least some individuals in Mr. Zimmerman's situation might have their eyes opened to the reality that being a Democratic operative simply because you're Jewish and Hispanic was a foolish belief, that you had been identifying with sharks who would not hesistate to devour their own if they saw advantage in it? (Much like Obama and Clinton sacrificed a loyal soldier in the gay and Arabist movements to make their friend Mr. Morsi happy?)

If the GOP was truly serious about wooing the Hispanic vote away from the Democrats, they should copy every one of those deleted Martin texts and photos and get right in the face of those voters, asking them if they truly believed Obama that having a son like this was something to be proud of? It should be crystal clear to an Hispanics with half a brain that in fact the Democrats and media elite desire for them to follow the example of the Martins, to promote their deadly and destructive lifestyle rather than allow neighborhoods to try to defend themselves, and the left will throw their vaunted "ethnic sensitivities" out the window to impose a color line on the Hispanic community (Hispanics have never had color barriers along Anglo lines, they tended to order their societies along class lines). Since they undoubtably won't, it will be up to the Tea Party and conservative grassroots to throw the GOP leadership out before the next election, or use third-party leadership to carry the flag if the GOP won't.

I think somebody whispered something in her ear.

Something like, "STOP IT! YOU ARE BLOWING YOUR COVER! TONE IT DOWN, STUPID! These people aren't THAT stupid!"

I was following the trial yesterday and was absolutely gobsmacked by Judge Nelson's conduct. She has shown bias throughout but yesterday her conduct rose to the level of badgering Zimmerman. It amazes me that a judge would act so unprofessionally while knowing that the entire country is watching. I can only conclude that the fix is in. I believe that Nelson has been persuaded to throw the trial in the defense's favor. The defense has plenty of evidence to charge her with misconduct and I pray they do so.

Newly Released Documents Detail the Department of Justice’s Role in Organizing Trayvon Martin Protests

Judicial Watch announced today that it has obtained documents proving that the Department of Justice played a major behind-the-scenes role in organizing protests against George Zimmerman. Zimmerman is on trial for second-degree murder in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin in February 2012.

Judicial Watch filed a Freedom of Information Act request with the DOJ on April 24, 2012. According to the documents JW received, a little-known DOJ unit called the Community Relations Service deployed to Sanford, FL, to organize and manage rallies against Zimmerman.

Judge Debra Nelson should be criminally charged with obstructing justice. She should be fired, disbarred, and the case should be dismissed.

Assuming the best for her, she might have stopped proceedings so that she can figure out how not to have this become a mistrial.
