I know a former clerk of the Colorado Supreme Court who applauded the decision to prohibit freedom of speech in the public venue in the vicinity of abortion clinics.

She said the courts used the concept of no electioneering in the vicinity of a polling place as the rationale for the ruling.

Now….based on the federal judge’s ruling about demonstrations in the vicinity of a political convention site, I’ll wager we can go even further in banning freedom of speech.

Why not say that no one can protest at ANY political meeting. Anywhere.

I hope the drug-addled minds of the protesters recognize what they and their ilk of the so-called ‘progressive’ persuasion have wrought.

The protesters are correct. This IS a violation of their freedom of speech in the public venue.

But it’s ironic that the federal judge—God give him better understanding—probably used the same laws to come to that decision that they themselves cheered when a similar decision was made about protesting in the public venue against abortion.

We’re talking SERIOUS ‘unintended consequences’ here people. And I think someone should point out their stupidity to them.
